We have attended British-run restaurant The Ship several times for their excellent fish and chips offer, served on Fridays. This meal is always superbly cooked; never oily and always crispy. The place is well turned out, and the staff have always been polite while making provision for our youngster with a high chair, extra plate, and so on.

Lovely place for English food, a real heart of the community place that hosts quiz nights, card bingo etc. Very reasonably priced. Very popular with ex-pats all year round.

A great English vibe welcoming to all. Absolutely brilliant food and very reasonable prices. I am a local to this bar and it is always on our radar when we go out. A small breakfast which is plenty for us is a paltry 2 euros each with no compromise on quality food. I have no idea how they do some of their dishes for the brill quality and price..plus the staff are lovely.

Shockingly good hole in the wall. You wouldn't expect much from the location and look of this place. Embedded into a apartment complex for tourists but that was the best lamb shank I have ever eaten. Fall off the bone, super tender and full of flavour. The Friday special, fish and chips are pretty good too. Friendly family service and great prices. Cold drinks in bottle and on tap.

Great live music. Brilliant staff. As a single female I was made very welcome, included and looked after. New owners have given it some much needed tlc. I will be a regular customer.

Had the lamb, perfectly cooked, good size (Don't quite know how I got through it!),plenty of roast potatoes / veggies + Yorkshire, the complementary veggie dish is a very nice touch (In our case cauliflower cheese). Came out nice and hot! Having the gravy in a separate jug is perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed it! For dessert We were lucky enough to try their world-renowned Baileys Cheesecake. All washed down with I think the cold beers I have ever had. Well done to the team, great service, lovely friendly atmosphere. Will most definitely be back. It was the one thing I really missed whilst away. You won’t be disappointed! 11 out of 10!

First occasion we had mini breakfast, just the thing heading to the airport for home.Second visit was an evening meal, good food and hot, very pleasant staff. Next visit was brunch, also great and again morning staff very pleasant and chatty.

When Be Queen first opened we visited regularly,at least once or twice a week. Friendly, good value etc etc. Over the last month we have seen things vastly alter!!! The cost of the house wine has gone from 7.50 euros to 15 euros!! Advertised on Saturday, all day, is mussels and chips for 2.50 euros, it filled every seat......we went 3 weeks ago to be told "only mussels from the menu 12.50 euros were available" but still advertised on the window at 2.50!!!! The owner was curt and off hand with us......and as a local we felt she was only after the holiday tourists who would pay high prices!!! We shall not be visiting again, and I shall watch if they stay open once the summer is over!! The locals are needed in winter to keep a business open all year......watch this space !!!!

Friendly staff but the quality of the breakfast was poor. Nothing inside their sausages and it gave us all indigestion.

This is only from my experience as a vegetarian asked for the veggie option, which turned out to be nothing as only the same as others but without the meat, and it didn't look like I was given any extra veg or potatoes to compensate. So advise if vegetarian or vegans in your group not to bother.

Do not go here if you have Allergies. Disgusting behavior from the staff and not following the law. said they dont no what ingeridents come in food it apparently comes with nothing on the box which is clearly a lie as it is a eu law that food products must containt ingredients and must provied info to customer. would never go there again should be shut down before they kill someone
