This was our first time doing a tasting menu. I thought it might feel a little stuffy, but our waitress was fun and welcoming. All of the food was stunning and delicious. We had a great time and plan to return!

We've dined here 3-4 times, while staying in a room at Cameo or just driving in for dinner. I've seen the restaurant go though several chefs during that time, and the B&B change ownership. My recent experience was likely influenced by the holiday, as this is second year in a row I've chosen the Vine as our destination for Valentine's Day. There is nothing comparable in the Tri-Cities area, both lodging and dining, and it's still a multiple course meal with a few different selections for main courses. The menu changes frequently and sometimes you can get a preview online, but be prepared to discover new items when you are seated. The combination of ingredients in the dishes this time was creative but not weird, and the portion sizes were just right (with the exception of my tomahawk steak which was enormous!) Over the years it has changed from an evening where the chef would personally deliver dishes to the table and explain the ingredients, to a packed house on a very busy holiday. Overall, the food is still 5 star quality, although there were some service issues arising from a young staff. The owner was very present throughout the evening, and vigilantly focused on fixing the issue with our meal. It's a good sign they are so busy and focused on long term satisfaction. I will definitely return as it's a slightly new experience every time and the property is beautiful.

A must try dinner experience! Go for their 7 course wine pairing menu. You will not regret it. The chef does an incredible job. Every item on the menu is well thought out. The entrees look and taste amazing. A lot of surprises and unique dishes. Highly recommend staying at Cameo Heights Mansion is you can. One of the best bed and breakfast places in the Northwest. If you you are staying in Walla Walla, reserve the limousine pi kup service. Will worth it. Not too much more than an Uber and such a better experience than worrying about drinking and then driving back.

This is not a quick bite. Dinner here is a 7 course event and takes about 2 hours. A special shout out to Connor for great service.

5 star food, location, chef and staff. Do the 7 course menu, fantastic. Have to come back and stay a night at the bed and breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise this was. The staff were wonderful. We arrived early for our dinner reservation and they provided us with champagne and a tour of the home, including showing us unoccupied rooms. The food was fantastic; well prepared and executed. A lovely experience. We booked 3 nights for this summer as we were so impressed. Its adults only, so don't plan a weekend with the kids, but enjoy a beautiful pool/ and patio experience without the screams and splashes of delight from children!

The food at this local restaurant in the sticks is fantastic. Centered at the Cameo Heights Mansion in the Apple orchards that surround on the southeast, we had the privilege to dine with the owners of the mansion, Alan and Deanne Fielding. They spoke of the new chef, Rich Coby, and his love of creating a meal and his background making wine. One of a kind chef from Walla Walla that did a fantastic job creating the magic for our 7 course meal. The menu changes daily and you won’t be disappointed. Check out the photos posted for your enjoyment.

Very delicious food and friendly service. It’s a small, intimate setting, and the chef delivered each course to our table personally. He even added some surprise touches such as pop rocks on a frozen dessert (The intermezzo course - my inclination would be to call it a popsicle but I’m sure there’s a better culinary term than that 🤣 -and it was no ordinary popsicle). Granted, this level of dining comes with a price tag, but my wife was happy that I was willing to splurge for a special occasion.

This is the most amazing food dining experience anywhere near the Tri Cities. Nathan the chef makes every course a masterpiece. He catered to my Vegetarian Diet as well which was very much appreciated. This made our Anniversary very memorable and looking forward to Valentines and next year Anniversary now 😊

If love, happiness, joy, pleasure, beauty, and color could have a corresponding taste, it could only be found through this amazing chef's transcended skills. Nothing in life was left to be desired as Chef KELLY SINER had quenched that hunger in a single night. His constellations of flavor and taste were like a crash course in calculus and you would still understand it! Mind-blowing, life-altering, and now wandering the earth aimless as though there is nothing left to experience in life; this is how gleefully I felt when the night was over! Chef Kelly Siner, kudos to a culinary masterpiece! Knives on fire!

The food was absolutely amazing. The service was perfect, very friendly and courteous staff. The atmosphere is high class and impressive to say the least. We got a table overlooking the river in the dinning room closest to the kitchen, where we had the pleasure of watching the chef plate all of the beautiful dishes he prepared. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Ya know, I've never really eaten at a place like this. I was here with my daughter as she is coming up here for college. We wanted to do something special. It was expensive but worth the memories with my daughter.

Nice place & reasonably priced as far as tasting menus go. Enjoyed the plating, service, and high volume of wine options. Had some very brine-y oysters, and I think the dishes could benefit from more texture, but overall a great experience.

Very enjoyable prix fix dinner. One suggestion for the owners, add a couple of wines by the glass, and/or a couple of 350ml bottles.

Finally had a chance to try this restaurant. Had a wonderful time! 5 stars for the food - everything was exceptional. Great wine selection as well. Every course was amazing. I know this type of restaurant changes it's menu often so it's hard to say anything specific but we cleaned every plate. I also really appreciate the small serving sizes in restaurants like this. I feel full after the meal but not bloated. Plus you get to try a wide variety of food. My jam for sure! 5 stars for the service - one of the best servers we have ever had. Friendly, attentive (when needed), knowledgeable about the entire menu. A true professional! 4 stars for the atmosphere - very clean and nice. Not my favorite style of restaurant. It feels like a really nice modern home and you are eating in the living room / great room. Tables are a bit close for me and seating was fine but not super comfortable. I know it's a BnB so you know what you are getting but I tend to prefer a more private setting. My significant other is the opposite though - she loved the atmosphere (would have been 3 stars from me). 4 stars for the prices. I knew it would be a lot (especially with 2 bottles of wine) but we had a bit of sticker shock when the bill came. Right at 500 with tip for 2. A great experience but probably not a restaurant we will frequent. If you love the BnB atmosphere and love a multi-course rotating menu, I couldn't recommend this restaurant more. All in all, a wonderful night!

The night started out great with the exception that there wasn't any signage indicating The Vine restaurant on the entrance. We were seated quickly and had a great view of the hillside. When asked about drinks, we were told that the drink menu was sizable and really weren't allowed to look at it. The wait staff recommend some ciders since my wife doesn't really like wine, which worked out, but they never really came back to me to ask, so I had cider too. I asked about wine pairing for the dinner, and the response I got was that they hadn't had that in years, and it felt like I should have known all along. We got the first course, which was a melon dish with balsamic vinegar reduction and goat cheese. It was delicious and unexpected. This was the only course that the item was explained, like most tastings. The next course was a delicious soup that made you wanting more, and we hated the plating because it had ridges that made it hard to get every ounce of the soup. The third course was a choice, which I picked the tuna and my wife had the prosciutto wrapped beans. Both were tasty. The palet cleansing was refreshing. The main course was good fit the most part, but I feel my tenderloin was cooked past medium rare and the vegetables were missing salt. My wife had the halibut pasta, which she liked. This is where it fell apart for me. After an ok main dish, we waited 15-20 minutes before my cheese and fruit plate, and my wife dessert came out. The entire time, the other wait staff were chatting with their table, and we were practically left alone most of dinner. The dessert was good, but the cheese plate had only 1 type of cheese(unknown type as it was never communicated to us). Two cheap crackers and trail mix you can find at safeway. No fresh fruit, no variations of cheese and no presentation. Looked like it was all just thrown on the plate. It was so disappointing. We felt shooed away at the end. For the money, it was not worth the trip for us.

This restaurant wants to present itself as fine dining but is lacking in service. The atmosphere is great. The food is fine. The wine list is unexciting and tired. They will sell you Kirkland (from Costco- yes, that Kirkland) wine for $30/bottle. The service is mediocre at best. The server working was nice, but seemed frazzled and inexperienced. They left us waiting to check in for 10 minutes. I thought I was in the wrong place at first as the front room is not the main dining area and there is no hostess. We never received bread despite our server repeatedly stating she'd be right back with it. She forgot one of our courses and I had to ask for it. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and our server looked at the full grown man and asked "what about you, birthday boy?" when taking our order, likening the experience to a Chuck E Cheese. This restaurant wants to be "fine dining" and it looks the part but it doesn't walk the walk. As someone who has managed front and back of house, I think management should invest more time in training and educating employees on service. At one point, our server was breaking down tables and setting up for the next day. It took so long to get through dinner and we missed two portions of the meal (bread + missing course) so timing was definitely off. If you want to get out early and set up for the next day, focus on getting guests out, rather than setting up linens. Tying this back to service and atmosphere, it was very reminiscent of witnessing a shift change at Shari's diner. As we were finishing our meal, another couple was seated in the dining room. They asked our server to bring them a nice bottle of wine (I guess they didn't want to look at the wine list?) Our server brought them the same bottle we ordered- which was a decent enough bottle given the selection. She announced loudly to us that she didn't bother checking with them and brought out the one that we ordered and thanked us for the idea. I hope the other couple was happy with her choice but from that moment, all trust and rapport is lost between guest and server. For $100+ person plus an added 20% gratuity, I expected more decorum from the staff.

Went to the vine for Valentine’s Day. The food was ok/good. Interesting flavor combos but VERY small portions. The biggest problem was just the price. For $279 for two people I would have expected a lot more both in quantity and taste. We actually left still kinda hungry. It was ridiculous really. First of all on the website it said it was $89 per person for a 7 course meal. When we got there it was actually $109. So a $40 dollar price bump right as we sat down for two people. Then an auto gratuity of another $50 bucks (with very middling service, no one greeted us when we arrive and the water glass was always empty). For the atmosphere and food we did get maybe would have paid $100 tops since it was Valentine’s Day? So yeah, an almost $300 price tag for a dinner for two (we didn’t even buy any drinks)……..won’t be doing that again. Again, it was an ok meal, but not worth near what they are charging. And I hate extremely generous auto gratuities….. if you do a $50 dollar service i will make sure get it, but again…….these guys were overvaluing their service by quite a bit. Save your money and buy 4 or 5 really nice (equally tasty with much more food) couples dinners elsewhere in town. (Side note, just so restaurant doesn’t think I’m just cheap….. I have traveled the world to over 100 countries and eaten at a lot of wonderful places. So I know good food when I see it and don’t mind paying good money for top tier things. I can easily afford a $300 dinner, but again, this just was not worth it. It’s kinda like when I was in Milan and they tried to sell plain white t-shirts in their fashion district for $500 a pop. There is nothing wrong with the shirt, it’s just the price they are putting on it is WAY over inflated just because of branding. Same here. Food is ok/good, just not $279 good. And the stars I have given simply reflect the value of the goods and service relative to the price).
