Napoli 2

Our first visit to a Napoli restaurant. We were seated immediately. Our server Brea greeted us a nano second after we were seated showing us a beverage tablet. We dined with another couple and everyone was pleased with their selections. Nice variety on the menu plus there were I believe 3 specials that evening. Our server was spot on with being attentive but not overly fussy. We would love to try a few more of the Napoli restaurants.

Such a wonderful dining experience. Very elegant and stunning restaurant. The food was amazing. The lamb chops were so tender, I thought I was eating a filet mignon. So juicy. Definitely worth the experience.

One of the nicest Italian food in STL. A modern touch to the inside space - very different from the original Napoli at Clayton. Nice selection of cocktails. The waitress was great in getting some nice mock-tails as well. The lamb racks were one of the best!!

Wonderful dining experience. We drive by all the time, but had yet to try this. We were excited to try it for a rare date night. I now see why it is always a crowded. They do what other restaurants sometimes cannot. Good food with EXCELLENT service. You will not have to ask for anything! I tend to drink a lot of water at dinner, and they come by and fill the water glasses so often. Extremely polite waiter named Alex (happens to be a family name of mine) so I remembered. The food was amazing, loved the ambiance. It was a little loud when We got there around 8, but the noise level went down quickly once tables started to clear out from when the early crowd meets the later one. I had STL salad and cannelloni. My husband had veal and goat cheese salad. All excellent. Highly recommend Napoli II.

OH MY GOODNESS! How have I lived a couple miles from this place for 6 years and not tried it until now?! My husband and I went there for date night last week and it was amazing! I ordered a lemon drop, the Shrimp and Lobster Scampi with a side of truffle mac and cheese. My husband ordered the veal special. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer. Everything was over the top! We couldn't stop eating! It's a little pricey but soooooo worth the money! We will definitely be back! I think we found our new date night restaurant!

We didn't want to wait 2 hours at cooper hawk (who i believe had a fake wait time to get ppl to buy wine at the bar) and walked down. They too had similar non reservation timeline but accommodated us and our toddler wonderfully. Usually at an upscale place like that you wouldn't think so but they were all great! The salmon spinach was the absolute best I've had, and my toddler had the truffle Mac and cheese, which I got to eat half of it 😋.

Just celebrated my wife's birthday at Napoli 2, and it was a great experience! Everything we ordered today were super tasty. The veal rib I ordered was the best steak I have ever had, and my wife loved her sea bass too! Tom and other staff were great! They knew it was my wife's birthday so they made her dessert free, with a candle on it! That was a surprise and made my wife feel happy and special! We will definitely come back!

Corey and the rest of the staff were so kind to me and my partner for our anniversary dinner. A lovely place to celebrate; we will certainly be back.

My husband and I love having a nice meal at Napoli 2. Mark is our FAVORITE server! The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is romantic. Can't wait until next time!

It's definitely a gem among St. Louis restaurants! Fresh pasta, excellent seafood, and amazing service from our waiter, James. I was expecting average food and service based on similar chains in the city (801 steak, Coopers, etc.) but ended up with the best meal I have had yet in Chesterfield and Clayton. Our waiter recommended several dishes and an excellent wine to pair with then based on our preferences. All the dishes arrived at thw right times and perfect temperatures. On my way out, I overheard a couple of weary travelers arriving at the bar and realizing the restaurant had closed 30 minutes prior. They apologized and got up to leave, but the bartender gracefully offered them a drink while she worked to close out the bar. This was emblematic of the service we received from our waiter throughout our dinner. We will definitely be back to try the other specials and menu options during our next visit!

Unbelievable experience. The wagyu was unreal. The entire staff was as perfect as you can get. They got us in last minute which was amazing. Our server was perfect and our table helper Isaak was about as polite and kind and a person can get as well as professional. Literally can't wait to come back. Perfect dinner before out concert. Thanks guys you were awesome.

Always fabulous food and service and the ambiance of Napoli 2 is so perfect in every way and always has been.

Definitely one of my favorite STL restaurants. Wonderful staff, romantic atmosphere, awesome food. Pork Chops are the best ever! Last time I went they weren’t on the menu and the chef made them special for me. You can’t beat that kind of service!

We are big fans of Napoli. We have had dinner at this location a few times, and each time has been wonderful. The food, drinks, service, and experience is 10/10!

Food is always phenomenal. Service usually tremendous. Alex was our server and he was outstanding... this is one of our favorite restaurants in town

Amazing service and food! Best service we've had in a very long time. The entire staff was vigilant without hovering, ensuring we never wanted for anything. Plates were silently removed immediately after finishing, water was refilled as needed, more bread was offered, etc. They were staffed appropriately and the manager even came by to check on us and was watching as well to ensure a good experience. The service dance performed as the staff circled the tables was truly something to behold! The tuna special was some of the best I've ever had. The seasoning and sear were absolute perfection. Their shrimp and seafood special was amazing as well, seasoned perfectly, as was the almond chocolate dessert. Honestly, the only thing that wasn't amazing was the bread pudding - a little too dense for our tastes (but the sauce was excellent). Overall, we would definitely recommend. I think we've found a new favorite!

Napoli 2 has a warm and inviting atmosphere! We wish the 2 person tables were a little bigger but that’s our only negative. The menu had a lot of delicious choices and the specials were great too! Our server Miranda was fantastic. Attentive and knew all about the menu! The drinks were perfectly made and we were happy they had some good wine choices that didn’t break the bank. We had a delicious dinner and overall highly recommend this restaurant for a nice night out! We are going to make this our go to place!!

The chef's specials were amazing, so we're the drinks and service

We visited for date night and was really impressed with the restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the dessert. Our waiter, Kevin, was fantastic and made the experience even better

Loved our first visit. Imagine a place where employees love their job. Very good Italian food. I've eaten over 300 meals in Italy. Napoli 2? Their cuisine is authentic. Return? Absolutely!

First and foremost: I made a mistake arriving with less than an hour to dine with my son before his hockey game. They were super busy and couldn’t get our meal to us in time so I paid the bill in full, tipped well, and headed out…still hungry. I called back after the game and Steve the manager went FAR above and beyond to take care of us. They remade our order, hooked us up with 2 desserts AND gave us a gift card. All that was way beyond expectations. The restaurant itself is gorgeous inside if a bit unassuming outside. The service is outstanding; enjoy the Chicken Marsala, beet salad, and tiramisu! Thank you!

Can't say enough good things about this place! The food is always awesome, all of it, I've had a variety of dishes over the years, and not a single one of them disappointed! Drinks and desserts are great as well. Atmosphere is nice, neither too loud, nor eerily quiet. Service is top notch, all waiters are great and personable, even bus boys are trained well for their job! This is probably the only place around where I can pretty much count on positive experience anytime.

Very cool place, awesome food Great drinks, but very high expensive. You get what you pay for basically You're going to be pampered go here. They have one of the best bone and veal jobs in St Louis but again you're going to pay for it

Excellent service. Great food. Pricey but not outrageous. Borders on fine dining. Contemporary flavors and new takes on traditional dishes. Scallops cooked perfectly. Busy even a bit later on a Monday night. Handmade pasta was firm. A nice place for a nice occasion.

Outstanding, every time I go there, I get the same dish.Which is this tag latelli bolognese pasta and toasted ravioli's. They have the most delicious food and you. It's cooked to order.You could tell the pastas freshly made from the taste. Delicious highly highly recommend

It was sooo good. I'm gluten-free & I had the sea bass. They don't have a gf menu but are able to accommodate. Our server was very knowledgeable. And double checked everything.

We stopped in for wine and an appetizer and we will definitely come ba back! This is how fried calamari is supposed to be prepared: fresh, lightly breaded and cooked until tender - not hard and too crispy. The wine by the glass collection could perhaps be more exciting and offer more Italian options (hey, it's called Napoli, right?) however, there are some good California options. Our server Drew was great: alert, accomodating and professional. He knew the many daily specials to a tee, spinach infused pasta and all. It was a bit crowded inside so we enjoyed the sunset soaked patio area. It got too chilly to continue our evening here once the sun left us - but we will definitely come back for an indoor dining when safe to do so or when it warms up a bit. Glad we found ya'!

We had really good service. The New York strip was delicious as was the spinach side dish. The house salad was ok. Portion sizes were very generous. It's a nice, non-rushed environment.

Our server and the food was excellent. The only thing that did not make this a 5 star review was that the runners asked multiple member's in our party if we were done multiple times within a 10 minute period to the point that one of our friends asked if they was us to leave (at this point it was still 30 minutes before closing)….

My daughter and son joined me to check out N2. I ordered the chop salad and the 10oz ribeye special. My daughter ordered the STL salad and the eggplant Parmesan. My son ordered the chop salad and the lamb chop special. We shared our salads and entrees so we could taste everything. The chop salad was awesome. The bacon and Gorgonzola cheese makes this salad. The STL salad was average. It was missing a punch. I think there wasn’t enough dressing or there wasn’t enough vinegar in the dressing. The lamb chops were incredible. They were cooked medium rare and they had a great crust on the outside and it was very tender. The mashed potatoes were as expected. The ribeye special was just ok. There was good flavor but it was chewy and it was cooked medium rare. It came with Brussels sprouts but I changed it to asparagus and it was cooked perfectly with great seasoning. We were wanting a more crispy eggplant experience but it was ok. Then we ordered 2 crème brûlées to share. They were below average. The custard wasn’t warm, parts of the caramelized sugar was burnt and it tasted burnt, the custard had a slight bitter taste, and strawberries on top had seen better days. My recommendation is to try the lamb chops or a fillet. Large convenient parking lot. Tom was our waiter and he was excellent. We sat in the dining room where the bar is and it got a little noisy at times. The lamb chops were $55 (well with it) and the 10oz ribeye special was $75 (not worth it) and the eggplant was $15 (so so).

The atmosphere is cozy and elegant. The food was prepared well. The beet salad and grouper special was good. The grouper served on mashed potatoes makes it a heartier meal. Please slow down the service and let the customer enjoy the meal. I know that’s a tricky review but I think you can take the constructive criticism. We had a half bottle of wine, two cocktails, a salad, an app, special entree, and desert; out the door in one hour. Let your customers enjoy your experience.

Got all the way back to the hotel after picking up our order and confirming it against our receipt to find we didn't get our appetizers. Instead, we got a salad and bread. Good food though.

Went to try it out on a recommendation with my wife and daughter. We were seated surprisingly quick (outside). It was a Tuesday evening in Seprember with good weather. Waiters were pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance and time of family fellowship. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, was well prepared and flavorful. The two star rating was for the price. Shame on us for ordering two steaks at "market". I will not be paying $130.00 for steak again. Tried it, not going back.

What a disappointment! Had family visiting from out of town, and took them to what is normally one of my favorites restaurants. We were celebrating my nephews 21st birthday. Right from the start, the server seemed unfriendly, and I’ve never experienced that here. We ordered a number of courses, and many were great. Unfortunately , my nephews pasta was so salty, it was inedible. The server didn’t ask , can I bring you something else? He just snatched it up, and said I’ll have them remake it. I had to call him back to say “never mind”. He went from “unfriendly” to surly. We likely would’ve had dessert and more, but we were all ready to leave at that point. I’ll think twice about returning.

The food was fantastic — the lamb chops in particular were exceptional. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, coming across as unfriendly and at times rude. I understand it was a busy evening, but it did take away from an otherwise great dining experience and left a bad taste

THIS EXPERIENCE WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. If you're one of the restaurant's regulars, the staff is extremely attentive. IF NOT, they will come by after you flag them down. Although the food was good, nothing is less appealing and more effective in keeping folks like myself from revisiting, than terrible service. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! ☆▪︎TIMELINESS Normal / as can be expected ☆▪︎STAFF It was a little after 5pm and the restaurant was virtually empty, but our request to sit at a booth was denied, despite the fact that we had a reservation. Staff was very welcoming, kind and courteous to the regular clients. But not so much with new unknown patrons, like us. Our server and manager visited the tables where they knew the customers by name at least 4 times. But we weren't shown that level of attention. ☆▪︎CLEANLINESS Clean ☆▪︎FOOD / TEMP Perfect ☆▪︎CORRECTNESS OF ORDER Our server charged the wrong meal to the wrong card despite her being told which meal was to be charged on each card. ☆▪︎AMBIANCE. Nice but a little loud

The picture I’ve included is the SECOND steak that was made for me after I received an overcooked steak. I wish I had a picture of the first steak because I NEVER send steaks back… I’m the person that would typically tough it out and chew on it till I had a headache… but considering the price of the special, I thought I’d say something. The server brought it back to the kitchen, a few minutes later I believe the kitchen manager came out, cut to the center of the steak and said “see, it’s medium, do you still want a different steak?” (Super unprofessional). Literally over an inch of the perimeter of the steak was cooked TOUGH with a slightly pink center… Everyone else at the table had great looking steaks and I was jealous. For all eight of us it was a dinner over $1,200.00. A steak “medium to medium rare” is how I phrased it. So, after 15 minutes or so they immaturely decide to give me this raw steak (as my punishment). I cut into the steak, saw it was raw and told the server “I’m just gonna go home and nuke this.” The steak was great after I cooked it to temperature in my air fryer… but the whole scenario was embarrassing and simply not worth over a thousand dollars. Won’t be coming back unless someone else is paying haha steaks made at home are ALWAYS BETTER!
