So I loved my food. I had a peach tea slush with no Balbo, which was great and then I also had the shrimp egg fouyung, which was delicious, and then I have the crab raguns with extra sauce and I love that also the location is big. It was super clean, it was very airy. The staff was very nice and polite, and um. Yeah, just a great experience.All around highly recommended for a chinese food place

Picked up some sesame chicken the other day. The phone call was fast and courteous. The food was excellent. The chicken was those BIG, meaty chunks. Not the little scrap pieces that are mostly fired breading. It was very tender and juicy. The sauce was sticky and sweet. Lovely stuff. I have tried A LOT of Chinese places in the area and this was easily the best I’ve had.

All this food was less than $9! Their lunch special includes an egg roll and your choice of soup. Lo mein was very flavorful, egg roll was perfectly crunchy, and wonton soup was well seasoned. The customer service was also great so if you’re looking for a convenient & affordable lunch option- I’d recommend this gem!

Update: I have now eaten here several times since my first review and they continue to deliver great food and service! ****************** OMG, this is amazing Chinese food! Everything was delicious and fresh! The hot & sour soup is a must-have! I can’t wait to come back and explore their menu. The only thing better than the food is the staff. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best Chinese food in the HEB area! The food is ALWAYS fresh and super tasty! You can taste and see the garlic in the food and I looooove it!! My family and I order from here about twice a month. We get the same order every time. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are reasonable. Please give this place a chance!! The deserve the business and more. Thank you for the great cooks and the delicious food. I couldn’t be happier with my meal. The first picture is general Tso and the other one is veggie lo mein. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that’s reading this and everyone I know. Keep up the fantastic job!! 😋 Edit: the to go trays are reusable so that’s a bonus star!!

This was our first visit. Went during lunch. The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly. I had the Sesame Chicken, and the wife had Sweet and Sour Chicken. We split an order of Crab Rangoon. The lunch specials come with soup and an egg roll. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Egg Drop Soup is the best I've ever had! Can't wait to go back!

We were greeted warmly and came before 3 pm since Hong Kong Express has a daily lunch everyday 11-3 pm. We had the Kung Po Chicken and the Chicken Lo Mein. The lunch specials come with a delightful sides of egg rolls and soup. Yes, you heard that right and for only $8.99. The Kung Po Chicken was fire. The Chicken Lo Mein needed a bit more flavor on the chicken. I have to say the egg rolls were fantastic. We actually ordered another set of egg rolls because they were hot, thin crisp smooth skin, and a lot of delicious cabbage and stuff inside. Yummy! 5 out of 5 on those egg rolls. The hot and sour soup came with those thin strip chips to add into the soup. That was the best soup I’ve tried in a very long time. Great touch! Photos…lol…we destroyed the plates…but let me tell you they are very generous on portions. We will come back again because yes, this place left a good memory for us. Thank you!

Would give 3.5 stars if I could, but I'll round up to 4. My boyfriend and I grabbed a "flight" of food from here for his birthday. The chicken lo-mein had such an amazing savory flavor, the fried rice was pretty much perfect, and my peach tea was delicious and refreshing. The garlic chicken, unfortunately, was not very good. It had no garlic flavor, was very oddly sweet, and was like 40% carrots (which is what I am assuming where the sweet flavor was coming from). I brought it home to give it another shot, and it just fell flat for me. However, the employees were very kind, the food was very affordable (12 for a large entree is such a treat to see nowadays), and the service was very quick. We will definitely be coming back!

First time here. Ordered cashew chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup (lunch special). Loved the soup..fried rice was full of flavor. Cashew chicken was good but had less chicken and lots of veggies. I was impressed with the quick service. I received my food in less than 3 minutes.

What flavor! Great value for portion sizes! I reccomend! I had the lunch special as its every day from 11 to 3! What a bargain! I ordered an orange chicken and side of lo mein. It came with a soup starter of eggdrop, hot sour or wonton. I had hot sour, it was not watery which is a good sign. Flavours were appropriate and balanced. I had a milk tea as they just started serving boba tea and that's a huge plus! It was prepared correctly and ofcourse tasted fantastic. The food was prepared in adequate time, the orange chicken was fresh, and kept with Cantonese flavors. None of that panda express sugar jelly nonsense. Good orange sauce. Chicken was not dry. Big portion for lunch. Decor was simple and tasteful. Employees were incredibly friendly, felt family owned. Very helpful. Encourages repeat business with the amount of warmth, keep it up! I reccomend when you are in NRH!

I ordered Mongolian Combination (Chicken, Shrimp, Beef and Pork) BUT what I got was MONGOLIAN ONIONS with minimal protein in it. See photo... The food is flavorful but EXTREMELY SKIMPY on meats (at best, there were probably 2 medium shrimps in the mix and small pieces and portions of the other proteins)... what a disappointment and waste of money.

The food was cold the crab Ragu were dry the rolls, spring rolls horrible. Do not recommend this place to anyone that likes good food will not be ordering anytime soon.

Worst shrimp lo mein in DFW. Absolutely no flavor. You're better off buying a $1 pack of instant noodles than wasting $14 here. There were NO EGGs in the noodles, and the shrimp was equally disappointing—maybe 6 or 7 pieces, all extra small.

Fried rice is really good, but the chow mein I got was 95% veggies and absolutely no noodles. Just veggies, meat, and too much sauce- which didn’t satisfy that noodle crave I had 😔 Update: They claim their wonton strips ARE the fried noodles.. They arent noodles- theyre just crunchy strips of wonton dough..
