Nice, clean restaurant. Good food. Most importantly friendly people and prices. Tenders were what they say they are... tender. Seasoned well with a good kick if you order spicy. Cashier was so nice and welcoming.
Karisma and Kaitlyn did a phenomenal job of customer service. My delicious order of a club sandwich and cayenne we're prepared perfectly. Don't forget to order the seasonal cherry cheesecake in a jar! dessert.
My first time here at Slim Chickens and the food was amazing. I ordered the slim chicken combo (5 chicken tenders, fries, two cups of Honey mustard and a drink) which came out hot and fresh. The chicken tenders could probably use just a tad bit more seasoning, but not anything to complain about as it was still pretty tasty! Deric(sp), has amazing customer service skills, and very polite and helpful. His attitude, and personality alone will make me want to patronize this restaurant more often. First time here, but most definitely not my last, as I will be sure to tell all of my family and friends about this place and my experience as well. Thank You, Slim Chicken owner/operator, for having such a great place where the food and atmosphere were amazing 👏🏾
I got the Hungry meal, 7 tenders, and it was delicious. Cayenne ranch and spicy BBQ sauce as dippers were perfect. She got 3n3 w garlic parm wings. Devoured. A side of mushrooms seal the deal and an Oreo shake instead of a soda. I'm never disappointed. We'll definitely return.
Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Clean, open, up-to-date atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food! I got the chicken and waffles and ordered a side of the sweet red chili sauce with it. My husband ordered the tender mac bowl, which was so delicious, and he poured some garlic parmesan sauce on it, which made it SO GOOD!!!! We will definitely be back!
My very first time here to get a sandwich and I am very excited about it. Nice place to hang out if you love chicken. 🍗. The restaurant is vey clean and nice environment for all to come by and check it out. Kids Menu is 1.99 on Sundays which is amazing. I am truly looking forward of returning. The location is in hurst.
Great customer service, people are so nice despite us being very difficult in our orders. I got the Mac crispy chicken bowl. The buffalo version got both sauces on the side and put the cayenne ranch on top was absolutely delicious. Had the perfect kick of heat that I was looking for loved the fried onions and scallions on top. Also got the original brownie jar was absolutely amazing.
The food is great. The chicken is so tender and flavorful. There are an abundance of sauce options and dips to elect. I also find it really unique that you can get your tenders shaken in a sauce. Takes the experience to a whole new level. Also, love the interior decor of the restaurant. For a chain restaurant, they manage to maintain a local feel to these buildings. Slim Chickens is an amazing place to eat at.
The star rating is in comparison to other slim chickens. Good fast service. Food cooked very well. The fried pickles were crispy (but very salty), the chicken has good flavor (i got dipping sauce but their sauces are just decent), and the waffle was good, thin and crispy, but not filling. Syrup tastes great with the waffles, not too sweet. Expensive for what you get compared to similar restaurants.
Great fast food chicken; fried tenders or grilled tenders, or hot wings and sandwiches and wraps. It is served in lined paper baskets with several sides to choose from; my favorite is the french fries. Plenty of delectable dipping sauces for your chicken. You'll definitely want to save room for one of their addictive desserts. I think the peach fried pie is like what my grandma used to make; hot, fresh, crunchy edges, oozing peaches and dusted with powdered sugar. Oh wow-wee! Comfort food!
I ordered the tenders meal, and overall it was decent. The chicken itself had good flavor — juicy with a nice crisp, nothing groundbreaking, but solid. The fries were a pleasant surprise: crispy and well-salted, just how I like them. What really stood out was the bread. It tasted like garlic bread and was surprisingly flavorful. I only wish they had included two full pieces instead of one slice cut in half. As for the sauces, the honey barbecue was a bit too runny for my taste — could’ve used a thicker consistency. The slim sauce leaned heavily on the mayo side. It felt like yet another attempt at copying Cane’s sauce, and honestly, I’m still waiting for a chicken spot to come out with a signature sauce that actually has its own identity instead of just being another knockoff.
It was my first time. It was very good, and there were lots of flavors to choose from. The young lady running the cash register was very delightful and very helpful in helping me with my selections. It's a little far from where I live but would be willing to travel back for more because it was very good...
SLIM chickens is right. The service and food was good but the chicken tenders were so small and thin! They were hardly longer than a ketchup packet. I did ask for no ice and got ice. I dumped my soda into another glass and it was hardly any soda. I took photos to show them but opted to just not go back and waste more money on gas.
Decent. Not impressive but I would recommend. Out of all the restaurants in on the chicken sammy craze right now i still put cfa & ppyes at the top. Churches chicken is right under them. I think it's all in the seasoning of the meat and slim chickens is just ok. I got the buffalo ranch. I didn't think this would be overly spicy but i had hoped for some spice this has none zero Zilch. I like the ranch on it. Its good. That might be what actually toned down the spice. Wonder if it would be a bit spicier without the ranch that comes on it. They have a cayanne pepper sandwhich too but Im not impressed/curious enough to return to try it. I got their strawberry cheesecake dessert. Its not worth $5. I think you're paying $2 for the dessert $3 for the jar. The dessert part is sad. Not enough cheesecake pieces at all and a lot of plain whipped cream. Will not order that ever again should i ever return.
They keep hiring staff that does not know or understand their job duties., nor how to make the sandwiches. I had enough... I used to be loyal, as I work in the area
Ordered a steak sandwich. It’s really thin for 13.95. You’d get better and bigger quantity getting a sandwich at a deli. Also the seating area, what’s the point of having two charger stations here if they don’t work. Came here thinking I could charge my phone while I eat my food but nope.
Half my waffle was cooked correctly half of it was burnt so hard it disintegrated, absolutely no way they didn't see it before putting it in my box. As well the service was fast, but as I can see now carelessly fast. I always get this meal and the waffle is usually undercooked just enough I toast it when I get home and ends up perfect. I'm not sure what happened this time but it is completely inedible, which sucks because it is half my meal.
Yikes they should’ve read the review as clearly. This is a cheap location that does not emphasize on quality, dear Lord, the smallest thinness saddest sandwich I’ve ever had. They are not following protocol for franchising. I got one piece of meat as pictured 6 inches. Terrible quality and cheap quantity.
I went today to get a 6 inch combo meal I had a coupon and was told we don't take coupons but that not what the coupon states and it not expired if the coupon is for this food chain they should be able to take or put it in the fine print which I read and it doesn't start anything.
The service is very bad staff is rude they don't care about the customer. I would recommend people to go to another Subway. This one is very bad.

I will say the food and toppings are fresh at this location. That said, they skimp everywhere they can. They don’t use the portion scoops on the meat so they can reduce portions, when you ask for the veggie toppings, you have to immediate ask for additional. I actually heard the woman behind the counter telling the man behind me he kept asking for more more more. While me and everyone in front of me did the same. They undertoast everything to where the chicken is still cold once it’s been “toasted”. Someone that knows these franchisees please tell them this isn’t how you make money, it’s how you lose customers and lose your business. Please fix this!
Horrible experience. The old lady apply bare minimum meat selections. Then asked why is this the old lady ignored me. I had to tell the old lady I ordered the elite turkey but deny the fact while looking at my receipt so I had to open my subway app to show the old lady otherwise. The old lady & the boy seem to be upset I asked for other vegetables that weren’t on my receipt. The boy & old lady just consistently talked under their breath in a different language while staring at me. Never again
I usually don’t write negative reviews but my experience compelled me to share it. I went in to get two sandwiches for dinner and had the worst subway experience (and I know it’s subway so can’t complain too much). First of all, the cashier kept mumbling under her breath every time I asked for something on my sandwich, the spinach had gone bad and there were bugs in it but they did not replace it, she made me tap a few times and I need to check that my card wasn’t charged multiple times. She also didn’t change the knife between a chicken sandwich to a vegetarian sandwich. Overall, terrible location and employees where I cannot trust that they don’t spit in the food.
Today is September 24, 2024, at 10:24 AM, i pass by this place, and thought to have a breakfast sandwich. Its understandably the morning time. The woman working the shift was on the phone speaking in a foreign language, she was very invested in her phone call. SO much facial expression and energy. Shes not looking, not paying attention, and when i eventually got her attention, NO SOUND, shes WHISPERING the words but doesnt want to disturb her phone call. After i tell her i want a breakfast sandwich, on a flat bread, she brings out the WRONG BREAD. Then i tell her I want steak and eggs, she WHISPERS, no egg, and continue in phone call. I tell her that i still want the Breakfast steak and egg on flatbread, with No Egg then. Strange that its 10:24 AM and no egg. but i still want the breakdast sandwich. Shes still on the phone heating it up, and when im paying she charges me the LUNCH price. i said i told you i want breakfast menu. At this point she TALKS FINALLY, but actually shes SCREAMING. I asked her, why are you screaming, i told you i want breakfast sandwich with no egg, you said no egg right now. its reasonable to have this i thought. She continues Screaming telling me she cant charge me breakfast sandwich for the morning!! Im suprised shes screaming, otherwise i would have still paid for it. The lesson is, DONT CARRY YOUR HEATED PHONE CALLS AT WORK. it makes for a poor customer service.

Terrible customer service!! My friend and I got 3 cookies and sat here talking for a bit. It was later in the evening so it wasn't busy at all. There was no demand for seating whatsoever. The man who worked there opened the door so the cold air from outside was blowing on us and we'd hopefully get cold enough to leave. I asked him why he opened the door because it was cold inside now and he started yelling at us that we stayed too long and only bought cookies. He never gave us any warning or told us about a time limit, because if he did, we would've left earlier. Instead he just yelled and aggressively pushed in our chairs and swept the floor and said he's closed now if we weren't buying anything else. This is completely absurd to react this way to customers, as we caused no problems, we weren't loud, and we weren't rude. I'll stray from this Subway from now on.
Wish I could rate a ‘0’. I asked to add lettuce on the nachos for an extra charge and he said No. He rather waste the 1/2 made nachos than add lettuce.
The first time I went there I asked for a small subway sandwich and got a big one. I thought a miscommunication may have occurred and did not argue, paid for a foot long sandwich and left. I went today for the second time, and asked for a small subway and the staff with a beard kept insisting on me getting the half of the foot-long sandwich and him getting the other half. I had to refuse politely for more than 3 times. I don't think it was a joke because even after that when he was making sandwiches he kept on appealing how he likes sandwiches, and how he would like it done. I will never go here again.
Regular customer, there roughly once a week. The customer service is never good, but I’ve ignored it due to the fact it’s a Subway. But, I’ll never go back now after the owner tried to charge me twice. It came up on my phone as a payment and then he wouldn’t let me leave unless I paid again. I left without a sandwich, not wanting to pay twice. I feel like I’ve been robbed. I’m going to walk a few more blocks to the next nearest subway from now on.
If I had a chance to give a negative star would have given one here. They don't even let customers wash their hands. How stupid is that the restroom is only for staff and not for customers who pay! The sandwich was also made badly we need to ask several times to add more veggies as they were reluctant. Staff is rude they need good management to monitor. Won't go again
Terrible experience. I visited the Subway at 925 8th Ave, New York, NY, and the person who claimed to be the manager, named Lito, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I simply asked for the ingredients I wanted in my sandwich, and he said, “You want too many things; I can’t fit all that in the sandwich,” and started arguing with me. Instead of handling the situation politely or offering to cancel the order, he kept raising his voice and acting disrespectfully. I’ve ordered from this location a few times recently, and the food quality has also been terrible — the chicken was undercooked and had to be thrown away. Really disappointing service. I will never order from this location again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Subway should do better than this.
10/8/25 first tie trying Slim Chickens, and my experience was ok. The lettuce is cut too big and my croutons were stale. I loved the ranch dressing. I’m willing to try again but no stale croutons
Slim Chickens DO BETTER. Not only did you not provide my mom’s meal and she had to drive all the way back to get it. You put this in here when she asks for it fresh??? Chunks of white onion don’t even come in her meal and then the huge chunk of green onion? Y’all just be doing whatever you want I guess. Was this done on purpose? Why are you doing things like this cause of YOUR mistake???
