One bite in and we knew we picked the right spot. We ordered rolled tacos, carne asada tacos, carne asada fries, along with chicken and beef crunchy tacos, and every dish was amazing. The flavors were bold, fresh, and truly authentic. It gave us that comforting taste of home here in Texas and went beyond what we expected.
Best Mexican food I’ve had since moving from San Diego! So if you’re looking for Carne Asada Fríes or CA burrito this is the spot!
I love the Western style Mexican food. For those who are used to California/Arizona style fried Mexican food, this is definitely the place to stop by! The prices are good and the food is great!
A great little "taco hut" style place. There is limited seating outside, but it's more of a drive up style restaurant. The food is excellent, much more of an authentic Tex-Mex style. No pre-bought or pre-frozen food here. Light years away from Taco Bell blah. My kids were loving it too. Delicious.
The true definition of a "hole in the wall" place. Good amount of food and tasty. Must get the green salsa, and the red if you like spicy! There is no inside seating, just 2 drive through lines.
Thank you to the 2 guys in there. Drove by a few times but decided to try today. I expected the food to be good based off some reviews ive read. Felt reassured with the interaction with the guy at the register and the guy on the flattop. It was great everyone tore their meal up! They didnt mind making my wife's fries the way she likes.
You can tell the meat is quality. Reasonably priced. Effort, even great effort put into the cooking of the food, I watched him cook (in part). The missing ingredient is seasoning, everything needed more seasoning. But notice I still gave them triple 5 stars.
Saw someone review this as Cali approved so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Cali Burrito with a side of beans and rice. The burrito was delicious and for sure reminded me of home. Customer service was nice too and the atmosphere was chill. I'm glad I gave them a try. I wanted to make note that I visited close to midnight and the food was hot and fresh!
I got the bacon, egg, and potato burrito and it was delicious. The salsa that came with it was so good. Highly recommend. The drive through is kind of a mess and it would be awesome if they got a new building. I think they would really benefit from more space. More business!
This is the place I have been searching for since we moved here from California! I searched up Mexican food similar to California and this place popped up first, it reminded me of Alberto’s back home and I knew I had to try it. We decided to over indulge and ordered a California burrito, a chile relleno burrito, a carne asada torta, chicken and beef crunchy tacos and horchatas. Everything tasted exactly how I expected it to and gave me a little bit of home here in Texas. We will definitely be back again!!
When it’s wrapped up in yellow paper, then you know it’s real and going to be delicious! The asada is so juicy, tender, flavorful, and the burrito as is, IS THE BEST!! It definitely taste like California and glad I’m able to finally taste a little bit of home! They have a wide variety of items on the menu and I know they won’t disappoint!
We went to the small shop and we had tacos, nachos and a burger. The burger was so plain, the tacos are amazing and huge! Nachos, not something I would order again. The only downfall is that since it’s a small shop the waiting time takes forever. But this can tell you that they have too many customers because they are good. Good food & good prices.
Green Chili burrito is excellent! The food here has always been good. Highly recommend!

The food is very good and the price is very reasonable if there is nobody else in line in front of you: they can be a little slow. But, it's like they say, "Good things come to those who wait.

Absolutely delicious and fresh Breakfast Burrito. Ordered two, and they are so big, my husband and I shared one, and so delicious that we can't wait to have the other one!

Mexican comfort food! It can be busy at times, but worth it. Pricing is decent. Best mexican food in the area! Family approved
Loved the food and menudo! I ordered a large amount of food and came out in a reasonable time. The service was amazing.
This little place is amazing! Their asada street tacos are my favorite with their green sauce. They are very quick to get your order ready. Everyone so far has been very helpful and polite! Will de…
Wow!! Great place, great service and great food!! It's strictly a drive-through, outdoor patio. The ambience looks good, but I did not sit there.
Stopped by for a breakfast burrito and got about what I expected. Good size and good value for sure. Good flavors too. The only reason I give 4* instead of 5 was I thought the ratio of egg, chorizo, potato, and cheese was a little off for my liking. Not enough egg or cheese. The chorizo masks a lot so the ratio needs to be lower in my opinion. Really solid breakfast burrito though and will go back and ask for less chorizo
I ordered the bistek encebollado. It was seasoned well. It included onion, tomato and jalapeños on top. The jalapeños made this dish way too spicy for me even after I removed them all. But it had goo…

I ordered carne asada and they gave me carne para tacos. Which a lot of the reviews did mention them giving the wrong main dish. The guacamole was pretty refreshing. I grew up on pozole, Tinga, carne en su jugo more authentic Mexican food with a lot of flavor. The foods not bad here I would say it’s pretty average.
Gone their many times last three times messed up my food not gonna waste my money anymore....
Los Alberto's Mexican Food may be a small hut, and you might need to wait a bit for your order, but it use to be worth it. The burritos are good, and the red and green sauces add the perfect kick. …
I went to Los Alberto’s on 02/27/2026. I usually go to this spot because it’s between where I live and my sister. I went today to get some food after helping my sister move. I ordered my usual 7 taco’s Al Pastor and I was being serviced by a nice woman who didn’t speak English all the way and I was nice to and said “Im sorry I don’t speak Spanish”. I tried communicating to her with the little Spanish I know. She called over her coworker and she had her communicate with me. She looked at me like I was an idiot then she said “Do you know who you are”?! This caught me off guard. I am half hispanic from my father. My mother didn’t speak Spanish. My father worked 15 hour shifts and never had time to teach me or any of my siblings. She looked at me smugly a few moments longer and then took my order. I am still shocked on how anyone like that can work there. I threw away the food when I got home I didn’t want my family to eat anything from this restaurant. If someone can be so cruel and laugh at your face and look down on anyone like that theres no way you can trust them with your food. Please if the owner of Los Albertos sees this you have to get rid of her.
The prices were priced fairly about 15 bucks for two big burritos, plus a 5dollar tip in the jar. I was not satisfied that they didn’t write on the wrapper which burritos were which. I didn’t like having to figure out who’s was who’s food by picking through it! I ordered one beef and one California burrito. The green sauce was good, but the meat had no seasonings on them just the grease from the cooked meat piled with pico for I guess flavor. One good thing is how much meat/ portion they put in your food, The environment was cold and wet outside today and the drive thru was packed. So standing in line for food sucked. And looked to be a long wait in the drive thru, I chose to go outside to the window so I can see the menu since it was my first time there, I’m not sure if there is a visible menu in the drive thru. It would be better if they found a way to make your outside customers more comfortable like some type of all weather blockage to block out the elements. It was my first time coming here we noticed that’s it’s always busy so we made an effort to try them today because we pass by there a lot. I waited about 20 minutes for my food. Keep in mind it’s cold and getting wet from the rain! The food was served hot so that’s a good thing but like I said I wish it actually had flavor. It was pretty bland and greasy. The tortillas had a rubber texture and shiny like plastic. I’m not sure I would return just because of lack of flavor.
I’ve given this place several tries, and all but the very first time the food has been trash. The meat is bland, boiled-tasting, and not fresh. Half the time it doesn’t even stay in the tortilla—you have to rebuild your own taco. The only thing decent are the tortillas, and I think that’s what fools people into thinking this place is good. We ordered 20 tacos and got only 5 tiny cups of salsa to split, plus dried-out limes and barely any grilled onions (even after asking twice). The fish taco was horrendous—overcooked, dried out, chewy like jerky. The nachos looked loaded but were just dry chips buried under unmelted cheese and bland meat. Nothing about it was appetizing. The drinks were the only saving grace—the lemonade was good, but the horchata was ridiculously sweet. We spent over $60 and felt completely ripped off. There are better taco spots just down the street with actual flavor, better service, and fresh food. Don’t waste your money here.
I ordered the Super Nachos, but the only thing "super" about them was how disgusting they were. The first order I received was a complete disaster. As I left the parking lot, I grabbed one to try at the next stoplight. Immediately, I noticed there was almost no cheese—what little there was sat on top of the nachos, completely unmelted. The meat and beans were ice cold, while the cheese (if you could even call it that) was slightly warmer but still not melted. The tortilla chips? Hard as cardboard and completely stale. I bit into a piece of the carne asada, only to find it was just fat—chewy, inedible, and downright gross. Hoping maybe another chip from the other side would be better, I tried again—same issue: no cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole, just a pile of stale chips with cold, tasteless toppings. Frustrated, I immediately turned around and went back. I showed the lady at the counter my order and explained that it was cold and inedible. Instead of offering to fix it, she just kept insisting it would be cold because I had already left with it. Mind you, I had literally gone one stoplight down and turned around—not enough time for anything to get cold if it had been warm to begin with. I asked if I could just switch to a taco salad instead, since it’s meant to be cold and even cheaper on their menu. She refused, repeatedly insisting that what I had was not a taco salad—which I obviously knew. I was just trying to get something remotely edible instead of another disgusting plate of nachos. Eventually, I gave up and accepted a replacement order of the same disgusting nachos. But guess what? Exact same thing. No cheese, no guacamole, no sour cream, still stone-cold, and the chips were still hard as rocks. The meat was just as fatty and unappetizing. At $12 for this mess, I wouldn’t eat these nachos even if they were free. Two terrible orders in a row? That’s not a mistake—that’s just bad food and bad service. Avoid this place at all costs!
