We had my daughter's 8th birthday dinner here and everyone was so sweet!! Our waitress Tiffany was amazing made my baby feel so special as always!!!! The cook was awesome!!!! Our food was perfect!!!! We are very happy with our service tonight !!!! Thank you guys!!!!!

Hands down, the best resto in town! Waffle House consistently delivers excellence. The atmosphere is inviting, and the [dish] is simply divine. A culinary delight.

This Waffle House is my favorite. They have wonderful grits. Not greasy! I get them in a bowl and they bring me lots of half n half.!! Add sugar and it's perfection! Add a 3 egg ham and cheese omelette with buttered toast and a cup of coffee..... this is the best! The omelettes are light and fluffy. This is my all time favorite breakfast, at my all time favorite Waffle House.... I'm never disappointed here! Reasonably priced, wonderful breakfast!!!!!

Went there at 12:30 A.M. on 5/6/2019 and my waitress was "RC" and she stayed on top of everything that was needed at my table. Refills, making sure we had enough condiments and everything in between. Would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK SOON!!!!

Food is fresh and you get to watch them make it. Tonight when we came in there was a man way out in the corner of the parking lot With earphones on and we ordered and the waitress said that was the cook way out in the parking lot. She never could get his attention to cook our order so she cooked it herself.

Great people with good service. I rated this a 5 star Waffle House because it feels consistent to all locations I've visited in the past. looks like. I stopped here on a whim because I had a long late night/early morning drive ahead of me. The place was clean, the service was immediate. The folks were nice. I could also tell that the local folks loved the people and location. If you're looking for a quick bite, good service; and great folks; this Waffle House is for you.

I am absolutely impressed with the staff at this location. What a great team creating an incredible dining experience! The entire team deserves to be recognized for their great teamwork on a busy Sunday morning to get guests served quickly and efficiently as possible. I've gotta say that you guys have a great team leader in Drew here, always recognizing and acknowledging his staff with praise. Delaine was amazing with her service as well, she never let my drink get empty. I really hope that there is recognition of each and every one of the team members working 26 June 2022. I will definitely be back! If I can offer any constructive criticism, it would be that the hash browns were a tad on the raw side.

Great food at a great price. The staff is very friendly and fast. About 2 minutes from the time I ordered until I had my food. The breakfast bowl was really good. The waitress remembered me from the last time I visited and I didn't have to ask for a refill once even though they were really busy.

My Texas Bacon Cheese Steak Melt was delicious. The waitress was attentive, friendly, swift. I had a great experience and ordered biscuits and gravy to go after I finished my meal. Look forward to making an appearance once again.

You know if Waffle House isn't at the top of your list of "To-go" places simply go there and you'll remember how fantastic it truly is. These people have been so understanding and nice its unreal!!! Our car broke down a couple of days ago in there parking lot and they have been so awesome about the whole situation its unreal. We have ate three times here since we broke down once dinner twice breakfast and it has been great every time. Once we were even bought the meal.

This my favorite waffle house and the food is always fresh made to order and served hot. I love the flavor and friendly staff here. Good Food Great Value and I have never left disappointed. Only suggestion bis that they need to bring back heating up the syrup or at least keep them in a warmer or something hot food and cold syrup is the fall back to all locations this should happen.

We had excellent service at Waffle House for a late breakfast. Our server's name was Malik, and he was super cheerful. We liked him a lot. The food came out quickly and tasted great.

My children were adamant about leaving a review for their "new favorite Waffle House" (which is a pretty great review, given their self-proclaimed "Professional Waffle House Reviewer" status they've donned upon themselves). Clean, great food, and the staff made my kids feel special with stickers and hats. we'll be back, my kids will make sure of it.

The place had a rustic old kind of feeling which made it pretty cool. I got the 2 eggs with bacon and hasbrown plate andnit was good but the hashbrowns were a bit greasy. Totally recommend

Simple but always good. I really like how they make the omelets fluffy. I really aways get the same thing, the cheese steak omelet with a side of bacon. It is a very filling way to start your day! As for the service it is always fast and I really like the fact I get to watch the people prep my food. I never have to worry about cleanliness. They almost always get a A+ from me.

As soon as we got in we were enthusiastically greeted and we got the last open booth just in time! We went at 1am. We were warmly welcome and told to sit wherever we'd like. Our waiter, Daniel was super nice, upbeat, attentive and asked us how our nightnwas going among some light conversation. He even was kind enough to brew us a fresh pot of coffee since he thought the one there was getting a bit stale. We very much appreciated that. The food was delicious, fresh and done quickly. My husband got the All Star breakfast. The waffle was even more fluffy than the usual Waffle House waffle, the sausage was absolutely yummy and lightly crispy around the edges, the hash browns were very crisp and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. Everything was just perfect! I got the 2 Eggs over medium and Grits with Raisin bread. Aside from on of my yolks arriving to me busted and slightly over done, they were still good. I mixed them up in my grits which were on point! Delicious! I would definitely consider this one of the best Waffle House locations I've been to and will be back in the future!

For an outsider, is an authentic American experience. The place is outdated for sure, but that doesn’t mean ugly. I actually think that’s what creates a unique atmosphere. The food was great with bigger than expected portions

They seemed not prepared for the after bar new years rush. Being almost the only place open they had to know that they would be busy. Two of the servers were very uninterested in being at work and one kinda disappeared. We had a great guy who got thrown at is and two other tables and even with order problems rock it. Made sure we had clean stuff instead of what the first Lady had given us. Food was fairly good and we are just glad we ended up with the great guy we did!

For a "greasy spoon" restaurant, this particular Waffle House is very good. Melissa made my cheese omelet, and my eggs were done perfectly. They were also very fluffy, and tasted great. My order was done correctly, and the service was very good. They also finally got rid of their smoking section, which is a major PLUS in my book. No distracting smells to ruin your meal.

Let me clear, we went to the Watauga location first and the service was horrible. The only person who paid us any attention was a guy with tattoos, him I'll give props to. After 10 solid minutes of being ignored by the 5 others working, we left. We decided to try the hwy 26 location, and bingo, Victoria was the bomb. Food was good, everybody was nice, and we were able to eat and get going on a timely manor. Thanks guys y'all get 5 stars

The place was clean and the staff was nice. I gave a 3 star because they ran out of gravy. That's against the law in the South. I also had to ask for a biscuit 3 times. And no Dr. Pepper. And to top it off, there was a 70 year old woman cleaning the windows. Outside. In August in Texas. I understand about everyone sharing the responsibility but, really? Didn't your Mama teach you better? Very disappointing.

You can never go wrong with some good waffle house. This particular one had no menus or any of the condiments or jelly on the table (like every other waffle house) and they never asked if I needed any of them. The waitress only checked up on me once and I needed a refill close to the end of my meal and she was no where to be found. So the service was manageable but the food was made very well.

My husband and I went in for breakfast and I ordered a waffle. I was really surprised to see that the waffle was considerably smaller than they us to be!! I was actually shocked to see how thin they are now!! The prices are going up, but the quality, and quantity are just not the same! The staff was really nice, and they did greet us at the door. The restaurant was clean and it was not crowded at all, we were able to walk right in and get seated. I am not sure if I'll be returning to any Waffle Houses at all.

I really love Waffle House food. However, the restaurant itself is dirty. When you sit in the booth next to the window,it is laden with dirt and dust. On my last visit the employees greeted us with smiles and a great attitude. While we were trying to enjoy our meal one waitress was having a discussion with the cook and she was using so much profanity it made me uncomfortable. Finally, as I said the food was great and our waitress was great.

I used to be one of the Waffle House kids. A Waffle House kid is one of the teenagers that would sit there all night long hanging out drinking coffee and having a good time socializing. Ever since the band smoking from all the waffle houses nothing about them has been the same since. This one was cleaner than most from what I saw the server was an okay fella just don't pay your tab until you're ready to go. I had a coughing and one order of hash browns. It was less than 10 bucks I believe it was $7. 80 I paid with a credit card. On the credit card tip I rounded it up to eight and then tipped them cash like two bucks. I was never offered a refill on my coffee I had to ask for it every time I asked for a water but to get his attention was a pain in the you know what so I didn't even ask for the lemon I usually asked for. And again I was never offered a refill I had to ask I was able to tell by the demeanor when I handed him back the signed receipt and it shipped that he felt the compensation was not enough. I told him I had another book for him that I would get out the car just trying to see if maybe that would change his performance it did not. So I wound up just leaving great hash browns though.

I've always liked this waffle house. The staff has always been great and the service too. Today I stopped in with my two young children. All of the booths were full except for one or two and I prefer to sit in the booth when I am with my children. There was no one else waiting to be seated before me so my kids and I patiently started waiting on a booth. I was then asked how many in my party by a man and when he told me there was seating at the bar area, I guess that's what it is called, I told him I preferred a booth. He then told me the area was open and to come on time is money. Get in and get out. I understand time is money. I also am spending my money at your establishment. I wasn't being pushy about being seated nor was the place so packed that other people were waiting behind me. I am just thankful Watauga is getting g a waffle house because my family and I like the food and atmosphere but I don't like being talked to like I am in the way of them making money. I highly doubt I will ever return to this particular location. On the other hand my server was awesome and so was the food. Had it not been for that pushy loud gentleman then I would have been 100% satisfied.

My daughter was killed a few years ago and her favorite food was waffles. I took off work due to thinking about what she would be like today and decided to go get breakfast. I ordered a pecan waffle and a side of crispy bacon. I get home my waffle is uncooked on bottom it was still white. My bacon had fat all over it. I tried to call and you can’t. I tried to contact by website it won’t send. I even gave a 75% tip. They didn’t check my food so I shouldn’t have tipped but I was excited to get a waffle in memory of my baby girl. Well y’all officially made my experience horrible. I gave a 2 in honor of my child but it should have gotten a negative number.

Came here to enjoy Waffle House for the first time, food was great but unfortunately the whole time one of the waitresses was being so unprofessional in her work space, light skinned black girl was speaking loudly about her insights and opinions on abortions and was feeling very proud of her TikTok knowledge on these issues. It was dinner time on a Monday and we were the only ones in there. That should have been an indication that it wasn't too good. The granddaughters wanted waffles and they were undercooked so they didn't want to eat them. My breakfast was just a normal breakfast, bacon and egg so you couldn't go wrong. I know it's the place to go when it's 2:00 in the morning and you're hungry but I won't go back for normal dinner

Have been 3 times in the last 2 months, food has tasted bad, like cooked in old stale grease - every time. Orders wrong and had to be corrected - every time. Waitress was new the first time, not new the next 2 times but still clueless. Please bring back any of the management and workers from the last 30 years. Day or night, the current management and crew are entirely inadequate.

Victoria was our server, and didn't care. She was always talking to her coworkers, even when serving us. She placed our plates down roughly and had no memory of who had what, and brought us a plain waffle when we ordered a chocolate one. Very frustrated with her customer service, and will not be coming back.

I love waffle house. But today was disappointing. Ordered water and coffee. My waitress forgot about me until my meal was ready. As she sat it down and started to walk away, I asked for coffee and water again, and syrup for my waffle. Another five minutes my coffee and water showed up and I asked for syrup again. My waitress never asked if I needed a warm up, or more water. The only time I saw her was when she brought the check. No greetings when I came in, and no thank you when I left - something that is charming about Georgia Waffle House locations.

If I could give zero stars I would . My husband and I went to eat lunch around 2pm . There was a younger african American lady that was our waitress . She took a long time playing on her phone and other employees before she asked us our order. We ordered 2 all stars . My husband had sausage and bacon and blueberry waffle with his . I had a chocolate chip waffle. We ordered coffee and she said she would have to brew it. We also ordered water . We waited 20 minutes watching her on her phone and playing around with other employees . We set a timer as well . I had to walk up and tell her she forgot our drinks . She also brought out one egg for me instead of 2 . My husband did not get his sausage . We were really upset bc we had not been there in a long time and really wanted Waffle House . We were not treated right at all and when we tried to get anyone else’s attention , they just seemed to not want to be involved to help other teammates . Our bill was about $24 and we did not tip . The waitress did not do her job at all . I tried to call to talk to the manager and apparently you can’t get through . We will not be returning and this restraunt lost and old regular and huge tippers . And there are roaches on top of that .

With no customers in store somehow they always forget an item on your meal, never ever order online. You have to watch them make it to make sure they do it right. Never going back here again, after the 4th time of them leaving out an item I'm just done with it.

How do you forget how to make an All Star so often? 😭 y’all must make 100s a day so I’m baffled as to how y’all always forget the meat in it? But aye must be on me cause I should’ve known better and check the order myself 🤷🏻‍♀️.

When we walked in... There was one lady behind the counter with a blank stare as if he coworkers might have been abducted by some unknown life force. I looked around at what was a pitiful site of a location no one was going to visit this AM after they were finishing happy hour. My bewildered look must have brought her back to the hourly wage she was there to perform for. I asked "are you here alone" had she said Yes I could've been a (little) more understanding of the condition of this place I too once worked for also! Before she could answer a light skin fella runs around the corner to the grill. Still standing at the high counter she asked if I wanted something to drink coffee please in a to go cup of you will. Hands me a cold cup of coffee in a dirty mug. As much as I like iced coffee will you put on a fresh pot and bring me a sprite. I again asked in a to go glass please. I was shortly met with a clear glass which I can only assume had yesterday's gravy floating on top. About this time a tall fella walks up behind her and I'm relieved that I don't have to act like a complete #$@+😔 I asked him for change to play the jukebox while he repaired the drink order. Not surprised she hasn't started a new pot of coffee. I lost myself and being the only person in this restaurant besides employees... I demand that EVERYONE of them should pick up a towel!! My order was on the grill and she said she was off the clock at this moment. I told her if I was her boss she'd NEVER leave my clock until all her shift work was completed. Her response is"you're not my boss" THAT IS WHERE YOU'RE WRONG DARLING! I got up from my table with sticky arms and left. Unforgivable service your boss will notice when they can't account for the overhead because I'm almost positive I'm not the only one who's not going back there anytime soon! (Pretty sure COVID still lives there)

Need to train the waiter how to wait on customers. Do no give us 1/2 our order than start taking someone else's order leaving ours on counter getting cold. Do reach across the table with a hot coffee pot to refill coffee. Do not make me have to asks for syrup and butter for the cold waffle you finally decided to serve. This is why no Tip.

They didn't have what I ordered but still took my money.

Bad service, we went in were not greeted. The server did not acknowledge us the whole time we were waiting. Employees and Manager standing by , slow and unprofessional service . Had to leave after waiting for a while. Thanks a lot this was one of my favorite spots for breakfast.

I come to this Waffle House everyday after work and order the same things Togo every time. Last night the cook that works at 1am on 11/16/21 burned my food tonight there was a older lady in there but the same cook. They charged me for the chili but never put it on my food. It’s always something with this place I do not recommend it to anyone to eat At because you will not be satisfied with your order.

Made a takeout order, left a tip to come home with my order with no bacon on both my orders. I would’ve came back up there but I had a flight to catch. If I’m leaving a tip make sure my order is right don’t forget two orders of bacon.

I walked in around 8:20 on 11/11/25. My waiter was extremely rude. She brought my drink out with no problem however the food is worse than before in my opinion especially because I found a hair underneath my hash browns in my sausage hash brown bowl. The best thing was the waffles, the hash browns were so thick I was comparing them to noodles. Then I heard her going on about how no one there has hair like that. Then on top of that, let's not forget to mention she gave me my check as soon as she gave me my food and she did that to no one else coming in I believe her name was Alec or Alex extremely rude. If you're going to have poor customer service, at least make sure the food is good and the bad service wouldn't matter!
