I’ve lived here for 5 years now and was craving Chinese at 9pm. Looked on DoorDash and Lee Lin was the only place open. Never eating there before I was skeptical as the Chinese I’ve had in my area is sub par. Let me tell you. This place exceeded my expectations. Tender beef teriyaki, flavorful shrimp fried rice, and yummy low mein. This is my new go to for Chinese. I’m so happy to have found this wonderful place to eat!

Ordered from this place on grubhub because it was one of the few places still open. So glad we discovered this place ! Delivery person was very nice. Food was pretty standard takeout taste wise, their fried rice was great and the general tso’s satisfied the bf. Portions and prices were pretty good. Thank you !!

Lee Lin's been our go to chinese in troy for years, we shopped around to a few other places but they can't be beat. Food is always excellent, accurate and quick.

I want to start by saying grew up on Lee Lin's Chinesr food especially their fried dumplings and it was a go to for any Chinese delivery that we ordered for many years of my life.. a few months back we ordered our regular of fried dumplings, beef w broccoli and s&s chicken and with a sad heart the food wasn't the greatest it literally turned is off from ordering again🥺🥺Well we decided to give it another go tonight and am so pleased that we did because the food was phenomenal so fresh, tasty and cooked so well it literally brought me back home..kudos to your cook whoever they are they're definitely keepers ❤️❤️❤️

Always delicious! I love the sesame chicken with white rice. Also the egg rolls, the crab rangoon and pork loin main is delicious. My husband also loves the chicken wings with pork fried rice.

Lee Lin was the perfect choice for our snowed-in movie night. It was Ali, Erin, Lauren, and yours truly, and we were gonna watch The Devil Wears Prada. So we thought 'what should we have that would enhance not just our taste buds, but also the atmosphere?' and the answer was none other than Lee Lin. Great food and affordable prices, Lee Lin is simply perfect!

I have loved Lee Lin for more than 15+ years. Then after moving out of the area. Every other Chinese restaurant that I eat at never compares to the dishes at Lee Lin! And we eat Chinese fare quite often. From general Tsos chicken, to tofu vegetable soup to sesame chicken ,seafood war bar and Singapore mi fun (not sure of the spelling ) to chicken or beef lo mein it has always been the best here hands down!

I’ve ordered Chinese all over Troy. This is the freshest and flavorful of any place. Incredible Chinese food. Egg rolls alone were streets ahead.

I just finished eating my meal... Holy cow. Phenomenal food. The General Tso's was perfect, and the Sesame chicken was less sweet, more savory. The crab rangoon, and accompanying plum sauce was fantastic. Oh, and can't forget the steamed dumplings! Yum! Hope to eat here again, we just happened to be passing through and a friend recommended this place.

You know, I hate to see negative post about a restaurant because of one bad experience. I have been going to Lee Lin for about four years now, and two things that you are always going to get.... Great food, and probably have a bit of a wait. That's the price you pay for the food being so good, they're always busy! People that don't work in an industry that is about timeliness, and customer service sometimes don't understand the amount of stress you deal with on a daily basis. Giving an attitude isn't always the way to get better service, sometimes you hit a nerve and you get what you give. We are all human and all make mistakes.

Hands down the best hole-in-the-wall Chinese place around. I've been ordering them for years. They have the best dumplings I've ever found at a Chinese spot, they must be made in house. Can't go wrong with anything they make

We just recently made our first and second order here and we absolutely love it and plan to order more in the future. I love the bourbon chicken that they have it's wonderful and their food always shows up hot and fresh. the crab rangoons are great the vegetable dumplings are pretty good I love the sauce that comes with it and the staff delivery drivers are very nice prices are pretty good too so all in all it's a great little place that is going to be on our normal delivery food list.

I used to live a minute away from Lee Lin but have since moved. I have yet to find better Chinese food. I will travel 30 minutes to get Lee Lin if I want Chinese. My friends who used to visit frequently when I lived close by do the same thing. They travel from Clifton Park to get Lee Lin because they haven't found anything better either.

Lee Lin always delivers huge portions of delicious food ! The House fried rice is a newly found favorite. The container comes bulging with shreds of Chicken, whole medium Shrimp and pieces of Pork spare ribs. I can't praise them enough for their Beef teriyaki, Hot and Sour soup, and Chinese donuts. We always get plenty of condiments and fortune cookies with our order. We always get something free with orders over $55.00 such as a two liter of soda. Delivery is fast and friendly, and almost always ahead of the time they stated ! Thank You Lee Lin !

I’ve been chowing down at this spot since the 90s – the food’s not just tasty but won’t break the bank. The owners are still there working hard, just as cool as they were when I was a teenager. I’m practically a regular, hitting them up 2-3 times a week for lunch and dinner. Lunch? Curry chicken’s my jam. Dinner? It’s all about that Singapore mei fun. Good food, good prices, and a staff that’s always on point – my go-to spot for both lunch and dinner!

We tried Lee Lin for the first time tonight and it was REALLY GOOD! The chicken in the General Tso's Chicken and Seseme Chicken was actually mostly chunks of white chicken (not unidentifiable grizzle/skin like I have had from almost every where else.). We ordered it mild and it was perfect. The white rice was fluffy and fresh, and the pork fried rice was tasty. The Beef Lo Mein wasn't greasy or mushy, but had tender beef and little oil. Also, the combination plates that I have had elsewhere would always have 2 pieces of broccoli as the veg, these came with some broccoli, "baby" corn, and carrots. The egg rolls were crispy. We will definitely order from them again!

Absolutely the best delivery chinese I've ever had. The spring rolls are crisp and perfect. I have loved every meal I've ever gotten here, though I've never actually been to the store, all delivery. They're also excellent about special orders. Want it steamed instead of fried? no problem. Vegetarian style? you got it. They're the best.

We called in our order for pickup,was told it be 20 mins, we arrive,and not only wasn't it ready ( we get there 25 mins after the call),but the person who took the order,didn't give the info to the kitchen staff/ chef!!!!! We had to wait an additional 25 mins, and they didn't even offer to compensate us for the inconvenience! To be fair though, we usually have great service,and delicious food from here,for that reason only,I will continue to patronize this restaurant! I come all the way from Cohoes,so that tells you,how much I like there food!

Took a chance new to the area. Food wasn't terrible, service, and delivery was ok. It just wasn't for me the sauce the sesame chicken was in had a peanut butter after taste, and the food just tasted off all together. I'm sure there are things they get right tho.

Simple hole in the wall Chinese spot. Good staple for late eats and cheap meats. Wouldn’t recommend for soft or sensitive taste, but otherwise gets the job done. I’ll always be back when the time comes.

I generally expect Chinese food from small quick take out places to be tamed down for an American palate but this isn't simply "taming down". After trying a number of different items on the menu, I'm guessing flavor just isn't in their wheelhouse. It's Chinese food made by Margie, the Midwestern Soccer Mom. The "fried" rice is crazy. Throwing some Swanson's Chicken Broth onto the rice doesn't make it "fried rice". Bummer. The first menu item I tried months ago, reliable General Tso, wasn't absolutely disgusting (as it is at Green Shell and A Dragon) so I had hoped this would be my new place but I can lick a wall and get the same taste experience as Lee Lin's food. Still searching....

The general tsos tasted like peanut butter. The bourbon chicken is spot on. Very attractive blonde runs the front end. Food is hit or miss. Don't order the sesame or general tsos. It's the worst I've ever had. Everything else is great.

So disappointed!! I ordered House Special Chow Mai Fun. Literally it was like eating plain thin spaghetti. Absolutely no flavor at all. There should be some heat and spices just horrible. 2 other combo specials orders and enjoyed by family. Friend recommended this place. Ordering on line very easy and food arrived 10mins early. Prices fair and portion good. We are going back to our favorite spot Spring Garden in Troy next time.

Well you have fallen to a 3. Lately things are WRONG, missing etc from the order. Delivery is still Super fast but ya know maybe slow down a bit take that extra time you say your going to, to get the order right. Like the Rice that comes with the big meals that aren't combo platters. Make sure to READ the online orders correctly. Coconut Shrimp combo with House special fried rice shouldn't end up being: Coconut chicken (which was gross BTW) with House special Lo Mien when i am spending $15 a dish. I will be expecting a full refund for this dinner not just the $5 you offered for the white rice being missing and the Fried rice versus Lo Mien.. It wasn't until i Bite into the meat in my meal that i realized this wasn't shrimp. Very disappointed. I should have known this wasn't shrimp when i looked at it.

Ordered food from here called after waiting an hour and was told the manager would call me back. Called back another thirty minutes and was told the same thing. The food never came and never got an answer as to why the food didn't come. Food arrived after almost two hours with no acknowledgement of delay or explanation.

The food had half the grease from the fryer in it. None of it was good.

The food is good but every few time I order there's something that goes wrong. Either the amount of sauce or heat is off or I find human hair in the food. The other day I bit into an egg roll and there was a long black hair in it.

Not as good as it used to be years ago. Pork fried rice is missing most of the ingredients like water chestnuts, mini corn on the cobb and scrambled eggs. Very little pork. My egg foo young was burnt. But they did bring another one that was better.

This place has changed cooks or something. My food was really not good today. The egg rolls were so greasy and they gave me white rice when I ordered pork fried rice.

First time in many years I try Lee Lin and what a disappointment. My food sucked and instead of the included egg roll that should have come with my wife's combo meal what we found in the bag was crunchy noodles (how do you mess that up?). Won't be back as there are better tasting and more competent venues in the area.

Sesame chicken was dry not enough sauce. Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice were good. Crab wagoons were not good.

The food that I ordered tonight was very bland. I ordered General Tso's chicken with medium heat and it had no flavor. I can't even call it mild. It was just flavorless. I have been ordering from them for many years. I have noticed of late that the quality is very inconsistent and will no longer be ordering from them. It is very unfortunate.

Terrible experience with the owner MR LEE argued with me and I had to go to the restaurant and prove that they had made a mistake.. after that UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, I was humeleated and embarrassed that me and my fiance were treated like that.... I'm taking the necessary steps to make sure that never happens to anyone else again... There's alot more restaurant's that would be happy to be open for serving the public and do an awesome job doing it.... Move on to another restaurant.

The sesame chicken tasted like peanut butter garbage. The "Dining room had a leaking ceiling in the middle of the room and there was open food everywhere. I will never go here again I'm my life.

I got an order of pork fried rice and chicken wings and i was in the bathroom within 10 minutes of me starting to eat. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, tried it again and the exact same thing happened! I have a really strong stomach so i know something is definitely wrong with that place.

I’ve ordered from Lin Lee’s in the past but unfortunately this will be my last time. The General Gaos chicken advertised as “hot” was more sweet than hot. The chicken wings were EXTREMELY salty. I tried adding ranch dressing to try and salvage it but it didn’t help. Very disappointing!

Ordered online, received a call from the restaurant that lunch wasn't on Sunday and I needed to pay additional cash upon arrival. I said that if there was an issue with their online prices/menu they should have that corrected with beyond menu, calling customer when they've already paid and demanding cash was rude. person became argumentative, said he already confirmed it but refused to make order or to call beyond menu. He told me to call, cancel and figure it out myself. I asked several times if he was the owner and for his name , refused to answer said he didn't have time to deal with me and hung up.

I've been ordering from here for at least 10 years and have noticed a steady decline the past year. Four times the past year my son's extra white rice has been missing which we paid for, no big deal, we shared ours and kept coming back. Today though, after ordering on GrubHub I noticed Chicken Teriyaki missing. I called, figured no big deal, I'll just pick it up thinking it was a mistake. Instead the gentleman on the phone berated me and insisted I was wrong. He went as far as comparing me to college kids who he argued are always calling and trying to get free food. Lee Lin, you are in a very competitive market and I am done with your restaurant.

The delivery guy was extremely rude! He asked for a bigger tip saying "I need to survive." I gave him the 10% tip option that Grubhub gave me, and he said "Next time, tip at least 2-3 dollars." I was very displeased with his attitude. The food is fine, but that just totally pissed me off. HOW RUDE!

Food is good but service is horrible. I have ordered there 3 times and each time I have had to remind them that I was there and needed my food. It took a half hour to get it. The last time I ordered online and waited 1 and a half hours for delivery. I called to see if they were coming and they told me the food was on the way. Half an hour later I called again and they said they never received my order.

Just got food there and not only was the chicken undercooked there was also hair in the food the other side of chicken tasted like peanut butter and had a weird texture the rice was great but the other stuff wasn’t!!!!! You have a 50/50 chance of getting what you order. Sometimes the food is great, other times it's like a sweaty gym sock on a bed of rice. Prices aren't on par with the food quality. Customer service doesn't exist.

Ive ordered food from here twice before. The second time i ordered sesame chicken, so as my food arrives i open my dish to find it has been prepared with peanut butter, not "sauce", not "oil", peanut butter. So i called back and asked why it had peanut butter all over my chicken and they told me "that is how it is made" like I havent had the dish many times before and after they wouldn't bring me another meal so this is why I gave it 1 star.

That was the last time. Something has changed. This was our main spot. Food was all soggy as previous comments mentioned, sweaty. My gf has been going here for 20yrs They forgot the sweet and sour sauce with sweet and sour chicken. Forgot the soda, steam pork dumpling instead of pan fried as requested. They wanted the old food back, weird and insulting, i guess i want to be on the phone with Lee Lin's lying after spending 60$ on food. They tried to make it right, I appreciate that. So the items came. But now the pan fried dumpling were vegetable fried instead of pork. Sorry but this is too many, whole dinner take out ruined, things were cold, I already had enough. Fine you forget a soda it sucks. Gonna find somewhere else avoid. Food was mushy and tasted like it was being steamed in a container for an hour.

Horrible food and customer service!!! I ordered fried chicken wing combination platter and there was 6in feathers fried and hanging off of the chicken. I called to speak to the manager and he wouldnt get on the phone and had the girl that takes orders hang up on me. Then I call back and say I'm waiting to speak to the manager and I can hear him telling the poor girl to hang up. So I drive there and bring the feathery food and he refuses to refund my money. After 10 min of arguing I finally got a refund. I went to chicken Joe's and got a salad. I will never eat lee lin again.

Been ordering here for over a year now. The food is fantastic however THE SERVICE IS THS WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I keep ordering because food wise, they're amazing. But I've had so many problems with them! The woman is SO rude and never helps or corrects her mistakes. The driver YELLED AT ME when I opened the door tonight, k couldn't understand him but he was yelling and waving his hands about and rudley shoved my food into my hands and walked away while I was trying to ask for my receipt that wss in his hand. He never gave me my drink either. (This was all tonight). I've had some other terrible experiences (including them calling me after I ordered yelling at me they can't deliver to me... I simply asked why you deliver here all the time I order at least once a week. The woman cussed me out then proceeded to put some guy on the phone who was very rude as I was calm. It ended with me in actual tears (and I don't cry easy). Worst. Experience. Ever. Yes, food is great. But after tonight, I'm done ordering from here!!!!

By far the nastiest Chinese food I have ever tasted. Chicken wings and pork fried rice, sparerib tips and rice. Greasy, nasty, and expensively taxed food in Troy. First and definitely the LAST time EVER, and they didn't bring the one thing that would have been OK my 2 liter.

I ordered sesame chicken dinner with veggie roll. 4pc beef sticks 5/26 picked up shortly after. Got home first thing, first my veggie roll " no problem! Following beef sticks" HORRIBLE! So I call them, told them my problem and they told me to bring it back, so I did. (Now keep in mind I ordered from Lee lin over 15 years never had this problem. Now I bring food to counter and let them " I just called about an order and I'm here to return this order for either a refund of my money and or fresh food. So the lady at the counter called for " Mr Lee whom was absolutely rude to me! And then smacked the food out of my hand. Got To the point cops were called. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE. WAS NOT REIMBURSED AS MY MONEY NOR FRESH FOOD WALKED OUT OF THERE BROKE N HUNGRY.

On my 3rd called to the restaurant a woman answer she say she was the manager she was extremely rude would not let me talk and say I don't know what I wanted her to do she keep saying that the people I spoke prior was a answering company. The woman starting saying that the restaurant didn't have a delivery person to bring me the other and if I really wanted my order to come to the restaurant. She was extremely rude has no customer services experience and I have been a loyal customer for over a 10 years. I will like for this matter to be resolve as soon as possible and for the restaurant to provide me with 100% satisfaction after dealing with such unpleasant and unprofessional employer in your restaurant

Since I was 4 this is the only Chinese place that my family and I have ordered from. That is 19 years of loyalty... this used to be the best place to go. However the last three times I ordered have been disasters - my order is constantly wrong and their food quality has gone downhill. I wish I could give this review negative stars. Tonight I ordered veggie dumplings, sesame chicken, and white rice. An hour and 15 min later they finally showed up with pork dumplings, and chicken... no rice. I called to ask them to send me a new order and they said they would give me a call back once the delivery girl came back with my order slip. An hour later, still no call. So I printed out my order from Grub Hub and drove to them. I got there and they were unapologetic and since I didn't bring the food with me as proof they wouldn't give me a refund. Now, almost 4 hours after I placed my order I am finally home sitting down to eat my cold chicken and guess what, the chicken is rubbery and soggy. Biggest waste of $15. I will never go back. Its one thing to mess up an order, that I can forgive... but the service that I received from Mr. Lee Lin was HORRIBLE. Looks like I need a new Chinese take out place.

*LONG TIME CUSTOMER, WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN* Did not deliver the soup we paid for and offered to only add credit for soup on a future order instead of bringing us the soup we wanted that night. Said it would take 2 hours to get the soup which is BS. On top of that, the food is disgusting and way too greasy, not like I remember it. Ordered some orange beef and it tastes funky like it is old meat. Do not go here, you will be sorry. This is my first negative review for any resturant.

We just had the worst service I have literally ever experienced, I am absolutely appalled at how they treated me. We ordered for delivery and told them we lived about 15 minutes away in latham and they still took our order. I called 45 min after we placed our order to ask what time we could expect them and they said they left 5 minutes prior. I called again 20 minutes later without food (1 hour and 10 min after the original order) and asked where they were. They then said they were on their way and I was confused and was kindly asking how they were on their way if they had already left 25 minutes ago and asked for a discount. Then a woman came on the phone and told me she would take 5 dollars off and "never call again". I could not believe my ears. She told me we live far away and to never call back. I said if we lived too far they should have told us they couldn't take our order. She then asked if we still wanted our food or not in a threatening manner. I was just so appalled, I told her to never threaten a customer and she was incredibly rude to me. We loved their food from when we had it at a friends house in Troy but I will never order from then again. I cannot believe how rude they were to a customer simply wondering where their food was.

"Dont cook on mothers daY, have lee lin cook for you" NEVER AGAIN!!! The only good experience was the driver was polite.

The wonton soup was nasty. The water used in it taste like pipes. The chicken and broccoli was distasteful as well. This used to be a good restaurant to get Chinese food but we will find a new place to eat. I would like my $ back the garbage got the most out of dinner tonight 😡

We got delivery her and it was fast and it was hot but it was not good! The seseme chicken just didn’t taste good! The pork fried rice was okay! We will not be ordering again!🤢

We’ve ordered here forever. Tonight there were metal shavings in my Buddhist Delight. Called them and had to argue with them just to get my money back for it. At first they offered 5 dollars, then 8 dollars and then finally the full price of the pint of Buddhist Delight. I almost swallowed this and had to spit it out. No concern was expressed at all. Just a comment about how “it was probably in there from when they cleaned the wok”. Lost our business indefinitely as of tonight.

Whoever is back there CANNOT COOK AT ALL. The food is absolutely terrible. There’s amateurs there. Had orange chicken sauce had too much vinegar and was drenched all over the rice. The broccoli was hard small and withered. The dumplings were not even cooked and looked grey yuck. Chicken was hard and stringy. Consistently disgusting. I prefer watervliet but they do not deliver gross I won’t chance it again. I’ll drive.

They packed my order wrong , the manager nikka was very unprofessional just like the owners 30 dollars for a hour and 15 mins late for my food to be spilt and half inedible. I contacted them as soon as my food was delivered bc I can see the food leaking in the bag leaked on my floor and my couch didn’t give me a refund or let me talk to the owner .the manger states the owner packed my bag and that there’s nothing wrong with it and my food should be perfectly fine🤣

So first of all we ordered extra chicken in the lomein. Not only did it have no flavor, but no way was there extra chicken! Then ordered the donuts …should have been 10 and there was only 9! We all know how prices went up everywhere but to not get what you ordered is ridiculous! I guess this is a way to get more with giving less from a customer! Last time ordering from here!
