Delicious! We were visiting for the day and stopped in as a family and enjoyed everything we ordered. We chose to order and share family style, so we had a taste of several Gregorian dishes which did not disappoint. The whole chicken was also cooked to perfection - the skin was very crispy and flavorful (what’s your secret!). The service was also excellent and welcoming.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant celebrating my birthday. The group dining options were fantastic and made the whole evening feel special and effortless. The set menu was perfect for sharing and allowed everyone to truly experience Georgian cuisine together. Every dish was beautifully presented, flavorful, and great for a group atmosphere. The service was warm, attentive, and made our celebration feel even more memorable. It was the perfect place for a birthday dinner, and I would absolutely recommend it for anyone planning a special occasion or group gathering. We will definitely be back!
Our Russian friends had been recommending Bevri to us for a long time, and we finally got to try it tonight!! It is as delicious and homey as they described, and we will definitely be back! We ordered the recommended Khinkali Beef & Pork Dumplings and the Kachapuri Adjurali, and they were both as good as people rave about! My son saw “kebabs” and thought they would be like Chinese kebabs and was sorely disappointed 🙄 but it’s a good thing my husband and I enjoyed them a lot. And I smelled the Chanakhi walking in and decided I needed that dish, and I was right 😆 So good! Everything paired super well with the Kachapuri Adjurali, and - of course - we got a pear soda for each kid (and one for me too 😜). Will definitely return!!
We had such a wonderful meal at Bevri. Beyond the food, the space is lovely—clean, bright, and smelling faintly of flowers. It's also quiet enough to enjoy a real conversation. The menu is full of hits. The Khachapuri Adjaruli is an experience in itself; the bread is crispy yet fluffy, and mixing the cheese and egg is so satisfying. The Khinkali dumplings were juicy and well-seasoned. I also loved the Baje Shrimp—the sauce was a great balance of sweet and tart. If you like meat, the Beef Ribs with Tashmijab are fall-off-the-bone tender with an amazing sauce. We washed it down with Tarkhun (a herbal tarragon soda) and finished with the gooey Lava cake for dessert. We left with full stomachs and boxes of leftovers. Can't wait to go back!
We visited this Georgian restaurant with friends and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious — exactly the way I like it — and we had such a heartfelt, cozy evening together. The service was excellent as well. I’m very happy to recommend this place.
Never had Georgian food before. It was very good, with a different flare. The bread with the cheese and egg in the middle was a must have. The lamb skewers were very tasty. Ambience was great.
This place became my Palo Alto favorite! I always loved Georgian food and Bevri made my husband love it even more than me (he tried it for the first time here). Their Khachapuri is so authentic! And khinkali full of flavor and juice. Phali sampler is another thing we never skip. The service is always good and food comes pretty quickly. We never had to reserve the table in advance - it’s very spacious so easy for walk-ins
Had a great meal here with my wife - Khinkali, Artichoke with cheese mashed potatoes and Chanakhi went down really well with a couple of glasses of Saperavi Georgian wine. We tasted two different Saperavis, and both were great. Then to finish off the pomegranate pudding (more like a natural healthy version of Jello in American terms) with coffee and ice cream. Walked away really pleased - the food tastes like a good home-cooked meal, even my wife (a very discerning cook) was well pleased. Thank you!
It was my first time trying Georgian food and I don't think I could've picked a better place to try it than Bevri. First off, the food was fantastic. I started off with a chicken liver pate and badrijani salad. Both were very delicious and fresh. For our mains we'd ordered lamb kebab and mtsvadi, both of which were also very delicious. The lamb kebab was juicy and flavourful, and the mtsvadi was incredibly flavourful and super tender. Both were served with a chutney and roasted potatoes with a balsamic glaze. We also got a khachapuri adjaruli, which was easily the highlight of our meal. It was rich, creamy, and so so delicious. We topped off the meal with pelamushi for dessert, which is a type of pudding similar to Indian halwa. It wasn't too sweet and went well with the accompanying ice cream; perfect way to finish the meal. The restaurant has a nice, cozy atmosphere to it, with various seasonal Halloween decorations decked around the place. The staff were friendly and attentive, and service was pretty quick. I'd highly recommend checking this place out even if you're not in the area.
My husband and I went to Bevri for the first time because we were super curious about trying Georgian food and our expectations were exceeded :) The atmosphere was welcoming and the traditional decor gave it a touch of class while still feeling comforting and home like. The staff were very friendly and attentive, great service. Now the food. We tried 4 different dishes: the Georgian salad, the beef & pork dumplings, the ojakhuri, and the khachapuri imeruli. The food came out fast, and the flavours were so fresh, so unique and that really stood out to us. Food that was simple, with powerful flavour. We could not stop talking about how great our experience was and how we look forward to returning with friends in the future.
Delicious authentic Georgian dishes, authentic decorations, very polite staff. On the picture I attached, the tall pot is chanakhi - it also had pomegranates on the top. The clay bowl is Kharcho. To me, it tastes similar to Ukrainian borscht with garlic. You can ask for more fresh cilantro if what’s provided is not enough for you. For dessert, we had pelamushi. Overall, it was a lively atmosphere, nice background music, and food was delicious!
Olga and the entire Bevri took SUCH good care of our group of 25 for a group work dinner! One of my coworkers said "Wow it's like she senses our every need" it was truly a white glove experience. Booking was easy, the private room that was still very connected to the restaurant was incredible, and Olga was even good enough to take photos of our group. Truly a delicious dining experience and a fantastic work bonding opportunity eating the amazing food at Bevri in our private room, family style. We had Option 3 for a group experience so everything was included, only cocktails were extra. This made everything seamless and simple for a large group! Thank you again, Olga and Bevri!
This place delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The khachapuri was incredibly rich with melted cheese, full of comfort and warmth. The slow cooked ribs were perfectly soft and packed with deep flavor. The amber wine stood out with its distinctive tea like character, very smooth and enjoyable. Every part of the meal felt special and satisfying.
Today I met up with the girls at a Georgian restaurant, and I was absolutely delighted! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and friendly, which immediately created a warm feeling. The food was simply delicious: the khachapuri were so filling and flavorful! Every moment was filled with the atmosphere of Georgian hospitality. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy not only delicious food, but also a true feast for the soul!
Bevri is my favourite restaurant in Palo Alto (and I have been to many of its nicest places) and was my choice of venue for a special dinner I hosted for myself and 25 of my friends. Georgian food is underrated and a truly special cuisine, and with an Uzbek background myself I feel great affinity with the country and its people. The food here is authentic and reminds me of my time spent in Tbilisi and the gorgeous mountains of Georgia. Since we had a large party, we used the reservation room, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was electric, the conversation was free flowing, and the service was on point. I greatly thank Olga, who I corresponded with in the days leading up to the dinner - she was extremely cooperative and understanding despite me having multiple requests and queries. Expectedly, most of my friends had not tried Georgian food before, but they were not disappointed and, in fact, had a wonderful time and cultural experience trying the delicious salad, khinkali, khachapuri adjaruli, kebab, wine, and so on. We left more than satisfied - our bellies were nourished and our hearts were full… I wholeheartedly recommend Bevri!
We’ve become totally addicted to khinkali and khachapuri — they’re just finger-licking good! We’ve been to several Georgian restaurants in the Bay Area and in Miami, and so far, Bevri is the best. A nice bonus is that you can earn and use reward points there, and unlike other restaurants, it doesn’t have mandatory tips.
A wonderful spot with unique dishes! We had never had Georgian food before so we’re a little intimidated, but we’re happily surprised. Both the salads (tomato one and eggplant one) were amazing and the pork ribs were a stand out. The vegetable stew was also a favorite. The rolls that accompanied the ribs were a group favorite and quickly consumed. The serviced drinks, dessert (shout out to the wine soaked pear dessert) and ambiance were all phenomenal. I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone and trying Georgian food here, it won’t disappoint. It was loved by the whole group who was nervous and skeptical.
I visited this restaurant Bevri for the first time with friends, and we had an amazing time. It truly felt like stepping into Georgian culture. The restaurant is very cozy, clean, and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the beef kebab, khinkali, and a traditional Georgian closed pie. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious — everything was prepared in the best Georgian traditions. What stood out the most were the cocktails made by the bartender, Nursultan. Special thanks to him — he’s a true professional and such a friendly, pleasant person. I highly recommend trying one of his cocktails! Thank you to the entire restaurant team for a wonderful experience. It was an incredible dinner, and we will definitely be coming back!
Delicious food and excellent service. I ordered a salad, a beef kebab, and a non-alcoholic cocktail — everything was outstanding. Special thanks to the bartender Nursultan. He personally came to our table, listened carefully to our preferences, and took our order. The cocktail, champagne, and especially the tea were amazing — I’ve never had tea like this anywhere else. Wonderful experience, highly recommended!
Our meal at Bevri was genuinely wonderful! We enjoyed the Khachapuri Adjaruli, which was cheesy and warm with that signature gooey egg in the center...so comforting and fun to share. The Chicken Mtsvadi and Chicken Kebab were both packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and beautifully paired with fresh greens, tangy pickled onions, pomegranate seeds, and vibrant sides that made the whole presentation shine. The Khinkali dumplings were another highlight...juicy, savory, and expertly prepared, making each bite a treat. And the cocktail with whiskey and ginger? Absolutely amazing...refreshing, just spicy enough, and the perfect companion to the dishes we ordered. One thing I absolutely love about Bevri is their European approach to dining: tipless meals, with fair wages for the staff. I truly applaud the owners for prioritizing their employees and creating an environment where everyone feels respected...this is exactly how all restaurants should operate. The whole experience, from the food to the hospitality and values, left me beyond impressed. Bevri is a Must-Visit for anyone who wants incredible Georgian food, a welcoming vibe, and a restaurant that’s doing things the right way!
I had an amazing meal at Bevri in Palo Alto. I started with the Georgian salad, which was super fresh and flavorful. It had juicy tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, soft white cheese like mozzarella, and a slightly nutty walnut dressing that added a really nice touch. For the main dish, I had the beef ribs with Tashmijab, which were fall-off-the-bone tender. The mashed potatoes underneath were smooth and cheesy, and the flavor of the whole dish was hearty and satisfying. Then I had the famous Khachapuri Adjaruli. The bread was shaped like a boat, with a crispy crust and a soft center filled with melted cheese, egg, and butter. I mixed everything together, and it became rich, creamy, and so comforting. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. For dessert, I ordered a lava cake. Especially, I love their beautiful presentation. It had a warm, soft outside and a gooey chocolate center that wasn’t too sweet. It was just perfect with ice-cream. I also tried a wine flight with two red wines and two amber wines. The reds were bold and fruity, and the amber wines had a really unique flavor, almost like a mix between white wine and tea. Everything was delicious and beautifully balanced. I had an amazing meal at Bevri. The khachapuri was so rich and cheesy, the beef ribs were super tender, and the amber wine had a really unique, tea-like taste. I loved everything!
Years later and the khachapuri is still as good as we remember it! Since we wanted to try something new, we got the khinkali (Georgian dumplings) with mushroom which we love and the fried artichokes which was ok but not a repeat order. I tried the tarragon soda and loved it though it's best if you drink it alone since if paired with food, the tarragon taste got lost already.
We used to love Bevri. We were regulars at their Los Altos location, it used to be one of our favorite spots. Sadly, that location closed and now the Palo Alto one just doesn’t feel the same. The menu has become very limited - no more of the best “Napoleon” cake in the city, and even the khinkali are much smaller than they used to be. During our recent visit, my friend and I ordered this “green” salad (photo attached), and it was absolutely inedible. The leaves tasted like they were picked from the side of the road — completely bitter and unpleasant. Even worse, the ingredients didn’t match the description on the menu, which could be dangerous for anyone with allergies. When we called the manager, hoping for at least an apology, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. That’s it. Very disappointing for a place we once loved so much. And to make things even more confusing - they don’t even have Coca-Cola anymore. How is that possible? There are only Georgian drinks available
