Drive through. Had it in Texas with friends a year ago. A bit expensive but from time to time it's worth the cost. Very flavorful. Surf and Turf. Shrimp and chicken tenders with rice & beans mixture and a biscuit with honey and a large strawberry lemonade. About $15.

I ordered from DoorDash. I wanted a 4 piece chicken dinner with a biscuit and coleslaw as well as a spicy chicken sandwich dinner and large Cajun fries. Everything came back fresh and hot. I enjoyed the fries because they are seasoned well and aren't French fries.

I always drive through when I'm really hungry and feel like having freshly cooked chicken sandwiches either hot or the regular and it's always hot out of the grill, and the service is always excellent.

Popeyes is a great place the food is pretty good I think the only thing that the stores lacking is the employees having proper training sometimes it seems like they're just lost or trying to go way too fast beyond what they can do but for as much as they've been trained they do try to do their best so I give it 4 stars

I stop at this store whenever i have business in L.A. usually get there about 4 pm . And chicken is ok . This time however it was fresh and tasty.

KFC is my go to chicken place. But there is a piece of me that longs for Popeyes, especially their spicy chicken. I love every minute of it while eating... but I regret immediately after. Make sure to eat plenty of fiber with your chicken.

Reletavely long drive thru line ( parking lot is too small to turn around in) that took suuuuuper long to get through. Friendly people at window and food was as expected from Popeyes. Good chicken. Good buscuit . Mash potatoes not so much but not because of food quality, just not used to spicy mashed potatoes I guess.

Went through the drive-through yesterday. Nobody else in line. There's a guy that works in there that was really funny and sounded like he was from Louisiana. It was a really nice experience and they gave my son a lot more than three chicken tenders. Great experience. We will be coming back soon.

Like most of the eateries in Sunland Tujunga it can be hit or miss. However most of the time that chicken sandwich is awfully tasty. The last time we went they got our order somewhat wrong giving us chicken instead of chicken strips for a family meal. I think if you write it down for him and post it on their forehead they'll get your order right. Food-wise taste wise excellent servers are very kind and personable just they don't pay attention. Like I said the beginning of this comment that's mostly eateries around this town people just don't care what they do today.

The food is good, customer service not very good you can see pure serious faces and it seems that you get to ask for a gift. The last time I arrived, an elderly man asked for free water and they did not respond to him until I asked the cashier if there was a problem in which the elderly person grabbed water from the tap to drink because they did not have water in the dispenser. The older adult asked for tap water to drink and they did not want to give it to him until i said please give to him.

The one in sunland they are rude. I they dnt give u ur complete order at first. Had to go back they mixed my chicken up with spicy when I asked for mild. They never have a complete order had to substitute some of my chicken for spicy in order to get my whole order.

Tried to order the 6 dollar box was told they don't do that ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and asked for the spicy sauce and was told it only comes with mayo even though a sign right there offered the choice.

Whoever is working the drive thru right now (10:45) needs to be fired immediately. It to 5 minutes to order; nobody else in the drive thru. I had to repeat each item two or three times and still got it wrong when reading it back each time. Get to the window, we already expect he is going to mess the order up and repeat 'no pickles and no cheese one of the sandwiches right'? The AHole argued with us that we "NO, NO YOU DID NOT SAY NO PICKLES!" Didn't want to argue with him because he'd probably spit in our food at this point with the hassle it was just to place the order. After getting the bag of food he closes the window and we just stare..... we had to ask for the other drink that was ordered! Should have checked the bag thoroughly because he also forgot 2 of the 3 sides! No ghost pepper sauce.....He is high on something and needs to be fired. If I hadn't paid $35 I wouldn't have minded as much considering it's a fast food place. Cannot come back again.

I placed a delivery order with Postmates. After he got to Popeyes it took him about 5 minutes to arrive. Normally when I order, and I get home my food is still warm. My food was cold, and the serving was small compare to what they have on the pictures. The popcorn shrimp does not look anything like what they have on menu. I got more fried batter instead of the actual shrimp inside. 😠

Went back to restaurant, to let them know. Employee look confused, wasn't sure what to do. I asked how long you leave chicken under heating lamps, she said it's between 30 minutes to 1 hr. Ask if there's a phone number I can call to complaint, she didn't know. Ask for supervisor on duty (Yolanda), which was working drive-thru, ask why was anyone not answering calls, apparently they're busy. No customers inside, 2-3 cars in drive-thru. 3 employees taking a break in dining area & 2 behind the counter. She couldn't provide me with a phone number, she told me to look it up on the internet. This hasn't been the 1st time with issues.

I had two bad experiences recently where the workers and manager put very minimal gravy with my large order of mashed pototatos. When I requested for them to add more they wanted to charge me additional fee. I feel this is very cheap and not doing the right thing for customers. Please explain to your owner that he or she saved $0.10 on gravy that you could have given me for free but you are losing hundreds of dollars in future business because I won't be going back there again.

Terrible experience at this location. Told the cashier multiple times that i wanted a 12 pc nugget meal. Ended up paying $40 for a family meal without my knowledge. They refused to give me a refund, nor did they give me SAUCE when i asked for it 🤦🏻‍♂️ The 2 people working here are absolute goofballs

I ordered about 25.00 of Postmate delivery. It arrived on time. The food had to be put in the trash. It was inedible. Mushy original Chicken Sandwich and fries. The biscuits were cold and to salty to eat and the 2 apple pies were cold and limp. Sadly, I will not be using this establishment again. I cannot afford to have to discard food.

Discovering mistakes, once home. Over-fried, dry, and sorry-looking chicken pieces. Missing sides and no sauce for shrimp. Charged extra for a drink, didn't honor the menu pricing. The salesperson had a bad disposition and was visibly disgruntled. Sorry Popeye, just wasn't a good day for y'all. Might try again in the future, but only walk in where things can be remedied on the spot.

Chicken seems to be over done almost all the time we go there. The chicken seems to be hard and dry and we get dark meat! We just gave up on this location even tho it's down the street from me and go across town to another location and don't have this problem.

I wanted to order the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. They told me they don't have it anymore. On their menu and online it says they do. So I settled for the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I also ordered chicken strips for my boyfriend and some beans, rice with a biscuit. When I received my Spicy Chicken sandwich it was mostly breading instead of chicken. There was also no lettuce. My fries were tossed in the bag on the bottom. I also got no drink. My boyfriend's Chicken strips were mostly breading. I remember back when Popeyes first opened you got more Chicken instead of breading. I can't believe I payed $24 dollars and change for this food! When I payed for my meal their card system couldn't take my EBT card, so I had to use the cash that I had. I was lucky I had enough in my wallet. Last year they still had issues with their system taking EBT. Popeyes does take EBT, but this location always has an issue with their card swipper not taking it. Also I wasn't able to use the ladies bathroom, but the men's bathroom was available. And there was no a/c. I am never coming here again.

All was well when I ordered in the drive thru. Until I realized they gave me dark meat instead of the white meat I ordered. Went back to store and Mgr acted as if I was imposing on her when I requested my correct order. I was totally repulsed by the smell and condition of the chicken. It was dried out and not edible. The sides weren't much better. This was my first and only time I will ever buy from that place again. A waste of money.

The Hispanic male manager is very racist he asked me to see my id because I was using ebt which wasn’t a problem then the next Hispanic customer was using ebt to and he didn’t ask her when I asked him why he only id me he ignored me and every time I come in now he says the ebt machine doesn’t work but then my friend calls and asks and it does work

The new chicken sandwich is good, but not good enough to deal with the people who work there. The line at the drive through goes all the was around the building and barely moves. Just go inside and you will discover mountains of food and absurdly rude staff. I don't know why the drive through is so slow because there is always a pile of food just sitting in their warming trays. Most recently the checker deleted back my order wrong, I corrected her then the food was still wrong and she pointed to my receipt as proof that I had ordered what I was given. Then she was all eye rolls and dismissive when I asked them to correct the issue.

Terrible experience at this location tonight while using my EBT card. We were served an overcooked breast and they neglected to include hot sauce or ranch dressing or the Mac and cheese we requested and paid extra for. Furthermore, they did not ask us while we were in the driveway how we were paying for our food. Not until we had been waiting for our order for some twenty minutes did they tell us we had to come in to the restaurant in person if we wanted to pay for it with an EBT card, and we feel that they gave us bad food because they discriminate against people who use EBT. The manager was hostile and appeared aggravated when I came in to ask for a replacement breast and insisted that the breast they gave us was not overcooked. He then took a thigh from the same batch and gave it to me free of charge in order to get rid of us. 😔

I placed a mobile order and they expected me to make two left turns to go park. I asked to be served in the drive-thru. Pedro not only was rude to me, but he then refused to make my order. I'm disabled, but still went inside and he still refused to make my food. I'm still dealing with trying to get my money back!

Workers there didn't even address me and I was waiting in the parking lot for 10 minutes with only one car at the speaker and no one else plus I go inside and no one bothers to address me awful service

This place is ALWAYS out of chicken. The staff is a joke and crafty. They over charge you and try to get away with it by slipping you the receipt quickly and having you leave. The managers clearly don't know what they're doing and refuse to speak to the customer when there's a complaint. Avoid this place.
