Possibly the best burger in town, regardless if you’re a meat lover or not.
100% best vegan restaurant I've EVER visited...
Cadre mignon. Le pain perdu était excellent.

Great Food!!!
I adore this place
Fantastic!
Amazing food
Great restaurant. Fantastic natural food. Great coffee. Great service. We love both restaurants in Tulum and Playa del Carmen
Be ready to wait for the food a little bit longer, but sooooo worth the wait. Good portions, friendly staff and delicious food most importantly ♥️♥️
The Oakmeal bowl is legit. Bunch of good fresh food. Food is good quality, portions are generous.
Loads of choice and everything we had was great. Wish we could have tried more. Service a little slow and prices are fairly high but standard for the area
Really lovely place. The breakfast is there is amazing! One of my favorite spots in Tulum.
We're not vegan but we love trying vegan foods and let me tell you something this place is amazing 👌
Incredible vegan food! This menu is full of great options! Located in Aldea Zama.
So so so good you have to go it’s really really good!!! Worth it the trip all the way no matter what go!!! The service is amazing 😉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼10 of 10
Great place and friendly staff. Highly recommend trying! We were only visiting Tulum and visited this place twice!
Best vegan 🌱 food i ever had! And the owner is just very helpful and Good englisch
Vegan versions of classics like Croque Monsieur and big burgers that are better than the real thing.
A really good restaurant for vegans and non vegans alike. Coffee was good quality and the service was great. I like the area it’s in it’s quite secluded at the moment and has just enough around. Prices very reasonable
One of the best plant based, vegan restaurant i have ever been to. Food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere very cozy. Un vrai coup de cœur!
It is a bit far from where we were staying in Tulum, but I am glad we walked all the way to the restaurant! The vanilla frappucino was so good! The spinach omelette was great! I wish I could eat this every morning! Thank you for having a location in Tulum, I enjoyed having breakfast there and wish there was one in Montreal! We can never have enough vegan breakfast restaurant!
Delicious food! Would recommend to vegans and non vegans. Friendly staff. Only thing is they don't accept cards and there's no ATM anywhere nearby. We had to drive in to town, get cash and go back. We were starving so it was quite inconvenient. But still worth it :)
Me and the sister ordered like 4 different dishes and all portions were big. They brought us filtered water and everything we got was delicious. The chilakiles were bomb! and their french toast was like a jenga size.
I really liked the veggie-burger!! I was impressed with the great flavor of it and the fact that it isn't a meat-like hamburger, not at all! This burger has its own amazing flavor!! Oh and the smoothies were pretty good, too!!
Does anyone know if this restaurant is planning to reopen in Tulum….I used to eat here and love and miss it! It was my favorite brunch and breakfast spot in Tulum
Deliciosa comida y excelente servicio :) Recomendado!
Me encanta el burrito
My husband and I are vegan. We have eaten at almost every vegan restaurant in Tulum and while three of them rank very high, this one is the absolute best. Very relaxed setting. The flavors are mind blowing. Best tacos and dessert we have had in all of Mexico. Staff was friendly and the location is nice and quiet. Bathrooms are clean. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone, vegan or not.
Out of all the breakfast-/burnch-/lunch spots in this area The Pitted Date is by far the best & tastiest. We ordered the French Toast and were surprised by their enormity and fluffiness. The flavor and texture were so good and the nuts add a delicious crunch. Tell your non-vegan friend not to fret, these meals are so well balanced in flavor that you won’t be missing anything. A big table placed their order before us so we had to wait a bit, but the 2 people working there are super hard workers and the food was so delicious it was more than worth the wait. Sure there’s construction work but that’s everywhere in this area and sure it’s hot and humid, but we’re in Tulum! We found this gem the day before we were set to leave and returned on our last day as well because it was simply so so good!
By far the best vegan restaurant in Tulum! I wish I would have known about this place when I first arrived in Tulum, I would have come everyday! But nonetheless I'm very happy I came in during my last day and everything was amazing. We got the fresh squeezed Orange juice and caramel Frappuccino to drink and both were so refreshing. To eat we got the cinnamon French toast and the chilaquiles with vegan egg and soyrizo and everything was incredible!! The dessert looked really good too and they had many options but we were too full to order more food! Diego was our server and he was so friendly and gave so many great suggestions! We cannot wait to come back in the future to try more dishes! Highly recommend this place!! You will not regret it!
Açaí bowls. Golden turmeric oat milk drinks, green juice, Beyond Meat burgers that are great (no animal meat...and I’m not kidding, love these and I eat meat too). Great wifi, AC, plugs for computers, chill music, lots of tables outside, about 12 people can sit inside, bathroom, kombucha...if you’re into health, or even if you’re not. Come here and chill and chat. It’s nearby a cluster of cafes and all the streets outside are pedestrian only so no cars sipping by ruining the ambiance.
The Pitted Date is my boyfriend and I’d FAVORITE (no exaggeration) Vegan restaurant in all of Mexico. (+ gluten free options) We’ve probably ate here at least 20 times and we’ve never had a bad experience at this location or the one in Playa. Me and my bf have been traveling Tulum for over a month and we’ve tried so many spots and this one will never disappoint. KIND PEOPLE. FOOD WITH LOVE. AND GREAT MUSIC (they even have a spotify playlist). they have free wifi and seriously all their food is great, i’ll post some pics as well but recommendations: Ceasar salad hot cakes waffles breakfast sandwiches mushroom omelet huevos rancheros (better in Playa for some reason?) I answer questions on instagram @lifelit (I know tons of vegan food spot in tulum hmu!)
Amazing vegan place! Highly recommend it to all tourists and locals too! Although it is quite expensive, you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Delicious, creative vegan food is priceless to me. Healthy options and good size portions! Service is amazing and they speak English too!
A little bit out of the way depending on where you're staying - but a quick bike ride or taxi will get you there! The food here was incredible (we extended another day to ensure we could eat here again that's how good it was.) The staff are friendly, they have an english menu and wifi. The juices are incredible & freshly made, coffee is tasty and you honestly just never know what to pick because it's all good.
Great Vegan Restaurant. So delicous. It could take some time to get the food if it is too crowded. Highly recommanded.
Cash only! Don’t show up starving you will wait, but food is undoubtedly delicious and super fresh. We come here every time we’re in Tulum. Bagelwhich and cinnamon French toast are amazing!!
One of the best vegan places to eat in Mexico! We went back here so many times because there’s so many good things to try on the menu. The vegan omelettes were amazing! So realistic - mushroom one in particular was so tasty. The french toast and pancakes were incredible. The bagelwich with the chorizo was amazing as well and the protein smoothies were so yummy.
We were super excited for this place and took a 20 min bike ride there. When we arrived we were informed no credit cards were accepted, when we tried to get a Menu the waiter told us that we had to…
The coffee was a little grainy and the oat milk wasn’t blended very well. I haven’t tried out the food here yet but would love to come back and review the food as well (since the other reviews are really good!)
Although I appreciated that this place was entirely vegan (why I went) I wouldn’t go back. The service was extremely slow. Like, 30 minutes to get our coffees kind of slow. The food also came out all at different times and most the dishes were cold (ones that shouldn’t be cold like French toast etc). The server was really friendly and the place is small and quaint but the food was just not good.
Visited Pitted Date because it was recommended by a friend. The food was really yummy, but the service was really weird. We actually came for dessert, but we're told that nothing is available and when will be they don't know. Instead guy offered us to choose main food and asked us to rush, because they were closing soon. The tone and look of the waiter was pretty much disturbed. As if he was tired from work and wasn't very happy to see us. He was just reminding us all the time that we need to eat fast. I really loved the taste, but the attitude was so wrong. I also hope that they somehow made an announcement on which days they serve desserts. I am going to check it out again, and hopefully this time it will be smooth.
We visited this place twice. First time we came at 4.10 p.m. and they said they are closed, but there were people outside siting and eating + the restaurant claims it works until 5 p.m. so we had some food at a sushi bar in front of it. The second time we came at 2.30 p.m. 😂 But this time they didn’t have half of the menu (mushroom soup, dressing for the Caesar salad, beyond meet burger) and no bakery at all. But they also position themselves as a bakery, bur without bakery 😉 Good luck. I will try the food now

Another overrated and overpriced vegan restaurant in Tulum. I was surprised by how bad their coffee was, and unfortunately had to send it back. Their green juice is also not the best I’ve had. With this bad start I didn’t want to try any of their main dishes.
The food is insane and it’s totally worth to go there for a good vegan breakfast. But the prices are also insane. The service is in the one hand very slow and on the other hand not that kind.
The food is very good, the design of the restaurant is too, but extremely expensive. Like being in L.A. or Miami. By far the most expensive vegan restaurant I have been to in Mexico. The reason for my feedback is the staff. The waiter said I could only pay cash even though outside you could read „accept visa“. He wouldn‘t serve my friend until I came back with cash. She was sitting there for 40 minutes with nothing to drink. Furthermore he is very slow, we had to wait 60 minutes even though it was empty. He made me feel like I was getting on his nerves when ordering food.
We were excited to finally try this place, but either it was a really, really off day or it’s all hype. The service was poor - we were not greeted for almost 10 minutes after arriving and seating ourselves. The portions are tiny. The flavours were underwhelming (and we ordered their ‘greatest hits’). The people who work there are not friendly. Our total check for breakfast for 2 people, each ordering 1 egg dish and 1 beverage was 700 MXN. We were stunned. Hopefully with more competition now in Aldea Zama Pitted Date will either step up their game or at least enhance the value of their dishes. I could have easily cooked what we ordered at home for a fraction of the price. We only went because it was my birthday and we wanted to start the day special but it began on a sour note due to this less-than-ideal experience. Even if you’re vegan, give this place a skip. Plenty of other spots have fantastic vegan options that are delicious, a great value and still worthy of your ‘gram ;)

The most expensive, most disgusting cup of spicy tasting coffee that had an oily texture ever. Would not go back
Incredibly slow service. Waited more than an hour for a waffle. Will NOT be back.
We went there by car. Drove about 20 mins.. and was very and unfortunately closed! Pure disappointment.
Tulum location is closed 😭😭😭
Very poor service. We were treated in an unfriendly way and just ignored, so we decided to eat somewhere else.
Extra drove here 20 minutes. Was closed, even though it was open according to their google page. Thanks for wasting my time!
I wanted to try this place because I like the name and other reviews seem to be good. There are a lot of construction going on in the area so it’s very noisy, but everyone sits outside because there’s no AC inside and it’s hot and humid. I went inside and saw a big “Kombucha” sign. I wanted to order one. I tried to get on their WiFi so I could scan the QR code to see the menu. The waiter pointed to the table when I asked about WiFi password. After so many failed attempts I had to bother him again, he told me the password written on the table was missing a number. I finally opened the menu up but there was no kombucha on there. I asked the same guy and he told me “no we don’t have it” with such an attitude and not even bothering to look up. I pointed to the big “Kombucha” sign and he replied again saying exactly the same thing, but with disdain this time. My mom said: “wow this guy is really rude!” So we left of course. This review is biased, based my negative experience with the vibe and service here, I cannot comment on the food since I did not end up ordering anything here.
I wish I could recommend this place as a vegan, but unfortunately I don’t. The staff is not friendly at all, and the prices are quite expensive for what you get. There are other vegan restaurants in Tulum that are much better!
Food is great but the young waiter( I think he’s the only waiter they have) is beyond rude. He doesn’t even smile and acts like he’s doing you a favor by you being there. He’s so slow and he’s beyond rude. If you’re going to go I would order online and have the food delivered so that you don’t have to have any interaction with this guy. Good luck and enjoy!
Ordered a acai bowl, on the menu it does not mention that apples are inside or on the dish. They put apples on it, which i am allergic to so rather than just sending it back they charged me for a whole new one. First time here, really not the best way of doing business. The guy in the front also was a little annoying with me as well. I happily paid but i will not be back.
