Waiter was Great! Food was Applebee's..

Always get great food here. Service is good too. Everyone was willing to wait on us. The host was great and gave our kids extra crayons for coloring. You don't always get great service with a large party, but it never fails here.

Service was excellent, the waiting staff were awesome. But our waitress was a complete Rock Star, she got everything ordered correctly, she was polite, confident supper nice. There 15 of us and she handled it perfectly.

The back of their menu has deals you can get dinner for 2. Includes appetizer. Best choice for affordable dinning

We have always enjoyed this Applebee’s restaurant. The staff is attentive and friendly and our food is always at the correct temperature. Hit foods, hot and cold foods cold!!!

Honestly probably the best visit to an Applebee's ever. The food was good. I got the new cheesy fries or whatever they were, but the real highlight was the waitress. She treated my kids so wonderfully and was equally sweet to my wife and all. My 7yo boy was felt like he was teeating him so special and my daughter thought she was "sooo pretty". She was just a very lovely young lady. I hope she goes far in life.

Although a holiday and very crowded, everyone and everything was perfect! My bourbon steak was made to perfection and we were attended to with a smile even though they were nonstop working. Congratulations to the kitchen and the team serving.

Applebee's is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. My husband and me have been going to eat at this restaurant it seem forever. The service, atmosphere, food, and everyone who works there is so nice. I recommend this restaurants to all who want to have a great meal, and to just get away and relax!!!

I arrived around 4PM to make the last 30 mins of their happy hour/lunch special pricing they currently have going on - it took a little while to get seated bc they only had one server do to the servers changing shifts right about then, but it was no big deal. I got to look at the menu and decide what I wanted so when I sat down I just ordered right away and was able to get the happy hour pricing I wanted so it all worked out. Food was great, service was attentive and friendly, I will be going back again for sure - just maybe a few minutes earlier so I don't have to wait

Ordered for pickup, got the whole lotta bacon burger, it was really good although I wasn't a big fan of the bacon sauce they have on it and the fries were a little too salty. But that's just my opinion. They brought it out quickly, had me sign a receipt and off I went. Easy peezy! It was a pleasant experience.

We got there a little after 4pm. On a Sat is good, really started to get busy by 5! Nice waitress, and brought extra napkins. We did the 2/30. deal, which a good price. I got Fiesta chicken, hubby got the 6oz steak. We both got salads. Everything was full normal sizes. The waitress was good with refilling our sodas.

Jerry was awesome and the food way wonderful. They were super fast and it was for sure the best Applebee's we have ever been to!!

Had a great night for my friend’s 21st birthday! We had two amazing bartenders Gina and Luis they definitely made the night !!! So thankful to have such fun amazing bartenders to help us have an amazing night!

The personnel was the friendly and helpful. We asked for my husband's steak to be cooked well done and when it came out it was cooked medium rare. Our waitress took care of it and although it was brought out till we were ready to go they did not charge it and gave us the full meal to go. They compensated for getting it wrong. The place was clean, and everyone on the floor was nice. Definitely will go back

Large portion for the price. Shared the chicken and pasta dish with a friend and we had enough left over for another person. Very tasty and the service was great.

Had a great dinner at Applebee’s tonight. I ordered the Salmon, and it was cooked perfectly flaky and seasoned just right. Pairing it with the Mac and Cheese was a game changer; it was rich, creamy, and the ultimate comfort side. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be ordering this combo again!

It has been a while since I've been doing Applebee's, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the wait staff was and how delicious the food was. They got us seated quickly, and we had our baby with us so I told the waitress we needed his food as soon as possible, and they brought it out super fast for him. He was on the verge of losing his mind because he was so hungry. Will definitely be back.

Great applebees. I travel the world for a living. I'm mostly Stateside, and I visit Applebee's frequently all over the country where available. This Applebee's had great service with a great bartender, which is where I usually sit since I'm alone, with a nice atmosphere. The food was nice, hot and tasty and the drinks were nice and cold. The staff seemed happy, and talking and joking with themselves & diners, and that's the kinda place you wanna have a bite to eat and maybe even a drink!

My family and I, had an amazing experience. We have 6 kids so that alone requires a lot of patients to take order and deal with. We had an amazing experience! Environment was great. Family oriented staff and everyone helped where it was needed. Jennifer is an amazing worker and very thorough in her job. You can tell her coworkers love her by the way everyone approached her and each staff member had a smile the whole time we were there for dinner. She greeted us and made sure everything was in order, considering we were a big group.

I came in for lunch today, the restaurant wasn't too busy so I was seated right away. The waitress took my order and brought my drink right away. I had the bacon burger special and it was really good. Burger was well seasoned and cooked just right. Fries were crispy and had great seasoning too. My waitress checked on me a couple of times and brought me a drink refill without having to ask, I like that. The place was clean and the food was good, I'll be back for sure.

Had great food and great staff. The food actually arrives quickly for a crowded restaurant, and the food tasted very good. It can be a little pricey though so it may not be everyone's treat. But definitely is a good place for singles, couples, or families to go to on occasions. I will definitely be back next year.

Was so good! Got the delicious chicken Alfredo with broccoli, it came with a nice soft , fresh bread stick! It was a nice surprise, because this is the first Applebee's that has given me a bread stick with this order and the breadsticks are really good! There was so much food I brought it home for another meal. Their to go containers are ideal for keeping food fresh for later! Staff was helpful and friendly their appearances were clean and professional! I think this was one of the better Applebee's that I've been to. Our drinks stayed full, without asking or waiting, a nice perk to a great meal! Thank you I Applebee's!

I had a great time, the Wonton Chicken Tacos are phenomenal and ordered the appetizer plate which was delicious, that being said unfortunately the entree was lackluster, ordered a whole lotta bacon cheeseburger and I was able to taste the tomatoes and lettuce more then the burger, it lacked flavor like it was unseasoned, the Poppin Strawberry Lemonade was absolutely fun and worth the try highly recommend for the sweet tooth, and a fair warning they have a sign $1 margarita Wednesday ordered one and still paid full price so be careful.

Everything was perfect besides the false advertisement on the brownie bite with ice cream, the picture was misleading they should have the actual size of the brownie and amount of ice cream for 5$

Pretty good overall. Service was good but our server took forever to bring us anything. It took us 2 hours to get out of there. In which we were done within 45 minutes of actually eat.

The door was supposed to be disabled access, but it kept closing, so I had to hold it open while taking my aunt inside in a wheelchair. Staff did not offer to help. We got great food, but the waitress didn't check soon enough to see when we wanted dessert or bring lids for condiments for food we were taking to-go. Prices also wound up higher than we were quoted. The grilled cheese burger and its fries were quite good, but the apple crisp a la mode was my favorite of that outing. My mom also didn't get enough to eat because she had them hold the cilantro rice, and the waitress didn't offer to substitute something else.

I'm conflicted about this review as our waitress was amazing but the cook mess up our order twice. The first time they served the wrong meat and the second time the meat was raw. The manager came over and apologized profusely and gave us a discount on our next meal plus took off the majority of our meals from the tag that wasn't even messed up as a further apology. It may have just been an off day for the cook.

Wé had a 30 minute wait to be seated, then had to wait another 30 minutes before our order was taken, then we received our meals before we received our salads, so we got the salad's to go. The meal was good but not great. It would have been nice if there was a vegetable on the plate instead of just onions and mushrooms. The waitress was very friendly and polite but was new and in training and a little forgetful.

Food was good. Our waiter kept forgetting about us. Our second drinks came late and we had to follow up on it to get it. I'd still recommend this place as the appetizers were really good.

We waited and were finally waited on by the manager. No one came by to see if we needed another drink. When we tried to check out we were told to see our waitress. How can we see the manager when she is busy managing the restaurant.

There wasn't a lot of customers there both in the inside seating and outside seating areas. Customer service was decent. Our waitress, you could easily tell was not happy and it effected the service which was not that great. It took a long time for her to keep coming around even with it not having that many customers. I've been to super busy Applebee's and the staff there are quick and efficient, this was not the case this time. That being said the food and drinks were good.

Usually, we end up here because it is open late (til 1a). Sometimes, the other customers are fun to watch. We asked for a table, and all they were offering were booths and high tops. Neither my guest could sit at comfortably, so we had to wait for a table to become available. We were finally taken to our table, and they gave us a booth. (All the tables were open...?) My guest sat anyway (I was really upset, but she didn't want to pursue it). Quick friendly service from Waiter. In the past, my salads had been drenched with dressing, and he listened about how I didn't want and delivered. Ordered 2 for $30 and got our steaks. Guest wanted med and I wanted rare. Received med and med well. Side grilled shrimp were yummy.

It is always a predictable meal and a great place to stop while on a road trip.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. I’ve genuinely had better microwave dinners at home. For the price, the quality just isn’t there, which makes it feel especially overpriced. Nice atmosphere and decent service, but the food alone would keep me from coming back.

Good service. However ordering appetizer may have confused server eating by myself. I wanted an entree as well. So i told her i was ready to order and she gladly took it. However the entree was short ingredients. Onions and mushrooms were not with my bourbon chicken and shrimp. So i asked for it to be taken back. I got it back fairly quickly. Not too impressed with five shrimp and a flat breast. Oh well good try Applebees.

We had gift cards for a long time and decided to go out since we could now sit onside. The food was good, we both had steaks. Nothing amazing, but good. When paying, the server said the gift cards had not been activated, so we paid with a credit card. But we checked the balances when we got home and the cards were active and had balances. A pin code had to be scratched off to reveal it, that is all. Maybe the server did not know about the pin codes, but they should be trained on how their gift cards work. That is really unacceptable that our gift cards were not able to be used.

Salad entree came 10 minutes after the entrees that had to be cooked and the lettuce was frozen. Steak overcooked and tough. No refills offered on the sodas. Way overpriced for the quality of the food and service. To top it off the waitress took my credit card because the machine at our table didn't work and and kept going in and out of the kitchen without returning to our table. I have no idea what she did with my credit card while she was in the kitchen with it. We won't be returning.

Went yesterday evening..The food was overcooked. Ordered the bourbon street steak no Bourbon sauce on the steak.. very small portions compared to the pictures on the menu.. Chicken and shrimp was good but small . Unfortunately the other patrons in the restaurant we're drunk and cussing up a storm and being very rude to the waiters.. Applebee's is supposed to be for familys I thought but instead at late hours it turn s into a bar with disrespectful customers.. don't recommend bring children after 9pm.

The service is horrible at this location. And definitely don't do the all you can eat because you will lose your appetite before you get a refill. A certain waitress needs to learn some people skills & how to control her facial expressions! She is very rude.. We stopped going to this location because of the horrible service but thought we would give it another try. And well don't think we will be going back.

Ordered an oriental chicken salad tonight with crispy chicken. Either the chicken had gotten cold and they put it back in the deep fryer to warm it up, or it stayed too long in the fryer for whatever reason. It was very dark and too hard to eat, literally. Waste of money. Our server was awesome, she said she would tell the kitchen and the manager. They simply don't care. This Applebee's continues to go downhill. Buyer beware.

Been going here for years.... lately... not happy at all... the food is... ugh, ok... the service is ugh, ok... the drinks are ugh, ok... so many other choices in Turlock... I may try again, maybe... Food was cold... did not taste good... Service was ok, I have had worse, and I have also had WAY BETTER... Store was cleanish... The Drinks were, way to sweet, and tasted like they had no alcohol in them... or very cheap... this place used to be top on my list... not anymore...

recently dined at Applebee’s and, regrettably, my experience did not meet expectations. I ordered Burger and specifically requested it to be cooked well-done. However, when it was served, the patty was visibly pink in the center and clearly undercooked. Although the staff did replace the meal upon my complaint, the initial mistake affected my overall dining experience. By the time the corrected order arrived, I had already lost my appetite and chose not to continue with the meal. While I appreciate the staff’s willingness to correct the error, the lack of attention to a simple but important detail was disappointing. I hope greater care will be taken in the future to ensure that customer requests are fulfilled accurately.

My first time at this location. Service was great. Food tasted ok. Later in the evening, 3 or 4 hours later, it felt like I was trying to digest a brick. Low grade fever all night and frequent burping the next day even though I couldn't eat next day. Stay away from the brisket tacos if you go. I will not return.

I placed an order online for delivery at the applebees on fulkreth rd in turlock ca. It cost me $103.00 and I only received half of my food. 4 out of 5 of the meals were missing the fries and and one of the orders was missing coleslaw. I called the applebees to let them know I was missing half of my food and the first person I spoke with put me on hold. Next, the manager, John, got on the phone. I explained my story again, and before I could finish John interrupts me and says let me put you on hold for a minute. I waited 9 full minutes and the phone disconnected. I called back, immediately John answers and I start to explain again for the 3rd time. He Interrupts and said "is this fries"? He then proceeded to question me about each and every item on the order and even asked if I was sure I was missing the items!! Finally he tells me that he is going to send me a coupon good towards my next purchase ($10). I told him that was not sufficient and asked if I could come get the missing food (the kids wanted their fries!) He replies with "yes, I just didn't think u would want to come all the way down here for some fries".. by now I am irritated and I insist that I be comped only for my delivery fee since I would now be driving to retrieve half of my order while the other half got cold. He assures me he can do that, I thank him, and go down there. Once I get there john sends out another employee with the fries and slaw and a coupon Towards my next purchase instead of the delivery fee. I asked to speak with john and was left waiting for quite a while. Finally john comes outside with the coupon again. I spent atleast 15 min arguing with john about why I did not want the coupon since I will not be returning to applebees anymore! Reluctantly john goes back inside to get the delivery charge cash leaving me waiting again. But finally he gave me my delivery charge back and I returned home to eat my cold wilted lettus sandwich and the kids finally got their cold fries. I realize human error happens. I am not upset about the error. I am upset with John's customer service skills and the amount of time I spent fighting for what I PAID for

Went in for a doordash, saw they had half price apps after 9 pm. Came back around 1030 pm. Nothing posted that it was dine in only. I told the hostess when I came back that I came back for the half price apps. She takes my order. Charged me full price. Went back the next day to talk to the manager and he didn't help me even though I told the hostess I came in specific for this. I also told him if I had sat down, ordered, and asked for a box they would of honored it. Wings where good but bad customer experience. Not going back anytime soon.

Tonight the wait was over an hour they weren't for sure how long it would be. Finally got seated, ordered our food, waited another hour for food to come, my 3yr old was getting cranky from being hungry😠 my husband's 8oz steak looked like a 6oz, asked for medium rare but got well done and dry! We complained only to be told it would take another hour for a new one because they were closing soon or they could just remove it from our ticket. Asked for bbq sauce took second time to get some, this place shouldn't of opened tonight if they were that short handed!! Very disappointing!!😠😠

Finally after a long week of work, My wife and I decided to have a drink and a bite this evening! Unfortunately we choose this place we had not been here in a few years because of the quality of the food and service so we wanted to give it another try once again a major disappointment. The service was good but the food once again a disappointment I ordered a burger and it was so pink that the bartender said he couldn’t believe they would serve it that pink. So we waited 30 minutes for a replacement by then I no longer had a appetite. My wife ordered a steak and it was burnt and she ordered it med/well, garlic mash potatoes were cold. Unbelievable and ironically it wasn’t that busy so why not pay attention to the quality of food being served.

Just had food delivered. My wife ordered a hamburger. It gave choices of how you wanted the patty cooked, with pink or without pink. I choose no pink. She took the first bite and it was raw in the middle. This happened months ago also. Called the manager and he offered to remake it and have it readilivered but buy this time my wife was finishing cooking it the way it was supposed to be. And not fair to the delivery person (not sure if they would have been paid for their screw up). Other option was for me to call for a refund. Was also advised this may happen sometimes when busy. THEN SHUT THE DOORS IF YOU CANT HANDLE IT! Don't think we will give a third chance.

That’s why I don’t tip people. Paid for extra ranch and got no ranch and the ranch that was in my bacon chicken “ranch” sandwich had the tiniest dap. Do better or find a job you actually care about.

What an absolute disgraceful experience I had with my fiancé. ordered 2 alcoholic beverages and both of which had a small little bug in each of them. Took the first drink back and then after I drank maybe a quarter of mines I had then come to notice in my drink shortly after. Manager stated she already took care of 1 drink and I was gonna have still pay for what I had already drinked. Had an appetizer that I ate prior and food I ordered that of which I didn’t even want and was completely shunned by the manager as she came over and said I took care of everything and just left. No apology no trying to resolve the situation whatsoever For your information I will be calling who ever is above the store manager position & and I will be giving the city call about the bugs I found in my drinks. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN

Hostess tonight was very rude. As we checked in you can tell the hostess doing check ins was very irritated. You can her hear her complaining like she hated her job. We gave our name and she said it would be a 20-25 min wait. We waited out font on the bench for 15 mins and went and went back inside when we saw a spot on the bench open. We were there for an hour and seen until we finally decided to ask how much long would it be. She got mad when I guess she wrote our name down wrong. We just decided to take our business elsewhere. Note to Apple bees, when running a restaurant please be sure Hostess doing the check ins is in a happy mood and make customers feel welcomed. Horrible experience to say the least

A lot of empty tables but a lot of people waiting. The host was missing from the entrance took a long time to get someone to seat us. Once seated no one ever came to our table so we got tired of waiting and left. Took our business to a restaurant that has it together.

We brought our family here, thinking it would be a good idea. The service was terrible, we asked for soup, and when we mentioned it to our waiter and waitress they told us that they would get it soon, they never did. They came back 4 times and we asked them over and over. They only brought it until everybody was done with their food. They also said that we would get unlimited ribs, we even asked the waiter to make sure. When we asked for more, they denied that they had all you can eat ribs. This was our first and last time here.

Poor service. I was going to write about my whole experience but I don't think they give enough room for me to type all that. I can say the food itself was good, so props to the cooks. As far as the lady who seats everyone, you should have stayed home if your having a bad day. And if it's just that you hate your job, find a new one. Your eye rolling was extremely rude. Your the first person everyone sees entering this business, had I trusted my gut after talking to you I would have left.

This has been our go to restaurant for the last seven years on our anniversary since this is where we had our first date. Every year has been great until tonight. The hostess was on her phone and barely looked up when we walked in and didn’t say a word. Another hostess said it would be 5 minutes and we waited almost 20 even though it was not busy at all. Once we got seated it was another 10 minutes before a server took our drink orders and she ended up not even being our server. Victor (our server) finally showed up after another 15 and was rude. He acted like waiting on us was too much work. If your going to work in a restaurant you need to at least be polite. My husband and I have decided we will have to find our new go to for our anniversary. Very disappointed.

The upcharge for a side salad (as a second side with my salmon) was $4.99! They said nothing when I placed the order. When I asked the full price for a separate side salad, they said $8.99! For a small side salad! That's a rip off. There are reasons why this place doesn't get customers. There are ways to do better but they refuse to act. Bad management. Bad way of doing business.

The salad didn't really have much lettuce. Weird

After being seated my family waited 30 minutes and were never greeted by a server. We asked an employee if we had a server and they looked at us bewildered, disappeared into the back never to be seen again. We never met our server. So we were happy to walk out, never to be seen again either.

The beer taps have so much foam it was sad to watch ... Slow service and no utensils when served food.

Had a ladies night here a few nights ago. When we got the food it was so salty and so poorly cooked none of us ate our food. There were eight of us and not one of us touched the food any further after having one bite. We were super respectful and asked to talk to the manager and we told her nicely that our food was salty and poorly cooked and this person saw our plates and realized we didn’t touch it. They didn’t even offer a refund not even a discount or a replacement. We ended up paying full price for just sitting there. Never going again.

Well I've gone in the last two times and my food was cold and before that they took forever take my order. The last time I went in they didn't even acknowledge us. There was two workers just talking by the bar, they could of helped. I don't know who the manager is but he needs to do something about this restaurant before you lose more customers. I had horrible experience last week. I was ask for the same thing Sirloin Steak with cheese and Shrimp this time they added onions which I don't care for so ask my waitress for another one that never got. My family all got there food and just sat there , i left the restaurant without eating anything. Never going applebee's again. Bad Service 👎

Ordered the bourbon steak meal, medium rare for pick up. When I got home with it and started to eat my dinner steak I know this was extremely well done pretty big difference from medium rare to extremely well done steak was uneditable and my dog wouldn’t even eat it. I come to expect this from Applebee’s when they’re sub standard food And cooks. Get what you pay for other than that. It was good mashed potatoes were good. The shrimp was good. The service was good. The steak was not. Bad enough to ruin the meal.

Awful food. I have given this place so many chances and they continue to disappoint. I won't be going back. The staff is unorganized and the food is sloppy. I have even gotten cardboard on my steak and my husband got a bread tie inside of his burger once! The tables and silverware are almost always dirty! I even went for just deserts and it took 40 minutes to get 2 lava cakes. I've given up.

My mom and I went for lunch ( we haven't gone in years and was excited ); it wasn't busy. We were sat down an waited for about 5 minutes until our waitress got our drink order. We decided to share the trio appetizer thing & it was an IMMEDIATE let down. The "boneless wings" were just chicken nuggets with barely any sauce and wayy over cooked. The spinach dip was dull ( no flavor). It was an overall big disappointment. Went home still hungry

Appalled and disappointed at my experience here. There is roaches scurrying, dead insects, and droppings (unsure whether by rodent or insect). This place should not be open or the management needs to be replaced, because no place gets that disgusting even over months. The service was okay, but I wouldn’t come back. From my time in the service, I’ve had a fair share of mold in my water and the water here was unpleasantly reminiscent of that taste. I would be cautious getting any beverage from their fountains. Don’t waste your money or risk your health here. Definitely calling the health department, this place needs a hazmat crew.

Service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress was too busy texting on her phone to bring us our check. 🤬🤬My wife's pasta was cold and that appetizer you see in the middle was the first thing we ordered and the last to get to the table after we had already finished our plates. I don't think it's always like this, but this experience was enough for me not to go back.
