This place is a 5 ⭐️ in my opinion. I gave it a 4 star on the food, solely due to there is a small variety, but yet there’s still a great variety with in this menu. If you get my drift. So upon walking you on a “not busy night”, you could seat yourself. On a buzy day, you might have to wait a little bit, but the waits wel worth it and isn’t usualy longer than 3 minutes of a wait. We were offered a choice of the booth or a middle table. There is also a sushi bar, no bar for choice is liquors or drinks. But they do have a choice of beers, and my favorite “warm” sake. Fair prices for the saké. The service was prompt. We ordered and the food came shortly after. When I say shortly after I mean like 5 minutes for the first wave of appetizers and than 1 minutes later the main courses rolled in. My wife and I didn’t realize how much food we just ordered. The (2) for $35 was a great deal by itself for a couple. But yet I was starving for sushi this day. Before you order your food, you’ll be approached with what you’ll like to drink and then be given water. As far as the atmosphere, is a big snug whale it’s buzy. It is a building that holds up to 47 people inside. There is no outside seating, only inside. There are booths along side the wall, meanwhile tables in the middle and bar seating on the other wall. They do have a bathroom for both genders, or any genders on a respectable note. The waitress was nice and fast with her service. We did tip a $10 for great hospitality 💯. Thanks for your service, we will be back again to eat something we have not yet! Footnote. They do have take out and there is specific on times and dates for last call calls. I did not get a picture of that, but next time I will.

Great sushi spot in Turlock! We are from NYC area and just visiting our family here where we don't expect to have a lot of Asian food. However, we are very happy with our dinner at this sushi place 🍱🍣 The lion king rolls, caterpillar rolls and chef special are awesome. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious 😋 I had sesame chicken in a bento box, so tasty, appetizers were delicioso 😊 waitress did an amazing job👍 she was the only one working, but she took care of everyone 👏🏻we will be coming back 😀

The food is good, nothing extraordinary but for their prices, you can't go wrong. They have a deal called "2 for $25" where you and another person can choose between soup or salad, and then choose an appetizer, and then choose 2 different rolls from a pretty good selection AND you get a free 4-piece California roll included--my husband is a huge fan. The place looks like it's aimed at college students and has a cool relaxed atmosphere. I've never had a bad experience here, or anything close to it. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Great food and great service bt smell was a little strong in the wrong direction but not to to terrible for me although my daughter said she got a headache from it and had to go outside so if that tells you anything.

Tonight was the first time trying Fuji Sushi, my boyfriend and I placed our order online. They did everything we asked in regards to specifics to our order, it was perfect. We ordered 2 rolls and the beef combo plate. The portions were sufficient and the food was fresh. The beef was so tender and delicious. The rolls were perfect and the sauces were delicious. Will be back.

To start I’m a frequent customer and have been coming here for years. Love the food and love that it’s a smaller place! But I dropped a star due to their new hires. The two newer girls are terrible. They are rude, inattentive, and down right sour. I love the other girls that work there they are so sweet and two of them are mom and daughter I believe. Just so great. It’s so sad that their kindness is being overshadowed but the horrid attitudes of the other to women in there.

Cheap, fast, fresh! Exactly what you want from sushi. Only wish the cucumber rolls were a tad bit bigger.

Been here a couple of times, hence the reason because the sushi tastes great, my favorite roll is the lion king and caterpillar roll. The only downfall I would say is customer service. They can be good at times and sometimes the vibes just aren't all there. I let it slide because sometimes people go through life situations and I don't want to make it any worse. Let's be happy 😊

I am not a sushi lover, however they offer bento boxes or rice bowls for those who don’t appreciate sushi. I did try the California Roll and I gotta tell you that it was pretty darn good. Perfect amount of crisp, spice, and avocado. The ingredients tasted fresh and hot. I will definitely return to try something else new. I recommend calling in your order if you will be doing take out. This place is popular and can get busy around lunch and dinner.

Most visits here have been pretty good. The service is always great; very attentive and quick assistance. Last time I went here the sashimi I got wasn't as good as it usually is. It was my first time getting the mackerel here and it left quite a bit to be desired, I don't think it was marinated long enough, and the eel had far too much sauce for my liking.

We were served in a quick manner and even recommended which sake to drink since it was our first experience drinking it. The food was good although the ambience left something to be desired however everything else was good.

Atmosphere was okay, busy, open; not a place for an intimate dinner. The food was okay. Portions were a good size, but quality was average. Staff was pleasant. It's a place you would go for a worktime lunch.

Im gonna say, its decent and will I eat there again probably not, as I had to drive 40 minutes, so I think my choice will be something else, 4 those that live near hey its a place to eat, is not terrible just not fantastic

This is a casual place but obviously popular with local residents. We found the service to be a little slow but the rolls we ordered were fine. Limited choices for alcohol and we found prices to be comparable to Walnut Creek. Somewhat surprising as rent and labor costs would generally be less in somewhere so far away from major population centers.

I've had good experiences here but this last one was the worst customer service I've had anywhere in a while. I made an online order and my husband picked it up for me. They gave him the wrong order and he had to drive from Hughson back to get my actual order. Their first question was "did you touch the food." They were irritated they had to refund and give my actual food back. When I got my food, my croquettes and tenpura were soggy and cold, my sushi was WARM, and my miso soup was cold. It's clear to me that they gave me the same food they accidentally switched and gave to the other person, who took it HOME then brought back. They gave me the same food 2 hours after my order was made. I didn't even end up eating it because I'm not convinced it was fresh and that someone else may have touched the food before giving it to me. I'm honestly surprised at this reaction by them. I don't know that I will be coming back after the awful service my husband and I received. They were clearly mad at US for their mistake. I understand people make mistakes, but they should have made it right. The least they should have done was give me fresh food. I'm so disappointed.

I went later in the evening, around 8pm. I ordered the spicy edamame (which tasted kind of old and was a bit soggy). I also ordered the Ramen. It was pretty bland and I’ve definitely have had better. I should have tried the sushi, since it’s the specialty… my bad! I was a bit disappointed since they had really good reviews. The service was also not that great either. On a good note, the mango mochi ice cream was good.

Came in for pick up was told to wait by the hostess and 5 mins later same hostess came back and skipped me for a couple that was standing behind me in line. Literally looked at me and then asked to help the people behind me. I had to speak up because that couple didnt say anything either. Bad service ruins food no matter what! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 ill double back one day and if they do better ill change my review 🤝🤝🤝

Very upset with this place got my order wrong 2x n then the noodles weren't pan fried. The whole lunch was a ruin. I shouldn't have paid for something that was wrong n disgusting. I will never ever go back here. Waste of my money. Very upset customer.

Ordered a California roll, dragon roll Teo kids meals (chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki) and pork tongatsu Dragon roll and California roll arrived about 30 min before the kids meals and the tongatsu. The tempura veggies were super oily with clumps of dough making me feel queasy. The kids meals arrived super late and cold, six year old and 3 year old were ravenous, meats on both dishes were cold and they said they were covered in too much sauce (syrupy). They only ate the gyoza which was identical to the pot stickers I get from Walmart when I cook them in the air fryer. Meal was a couple bucks short of $80, we left 90 percent of the meal at the resteraunt as it was horrible and none of us had interest in eating it or taking it home. Service was bare minimum and but friendly I do not recommend this place based on our experience

Came to eat here on a date. My date food came out and it was cold. My food finally came and it was totally wrong. Her noodles were fat and not pan fried. Everything was wrong and disgusting. We will definitely not be back.

Food quality changed not as good as it used to be. No taste of sushi. I think there are better options than this place near by.

Elena was our “server” and was so rude and didn’t even come up to check up on us. Elena was rude and spoke to every customer with a lot of attitude and isn’t approachable at all. Our table had empty drinks all around and Elena kept looking and didn’t come to get us any refills so ANOTHER server noticed all our empty cups and got us refills. We were done and she kept walking past us and got refills for another table when she couldn’t even get our refills and there were only 3 tables in the restaurant. Another server had to cash us out because Elena sucks at her job and shouldn’t be a server. They must be desperate to hire anyone since Elena the red head white girl can’t even serve a single table. This was our first and last time coming to this terrible place and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.
