If you’ve been on Yelp, you know how I feel about Vito’s. We try to celebrate our special occasions here and have been for many years. The ownership is involved hands on in the running of this establishment and it makes it feel like visiting family for dinner. The staff is attentive but the best part is the quality of the food and the atmosphere that feels festive and warm. Great place for everyday meals and celebrations!

This was our first time to Vito's, recommended by a friend Micah. Happy hour cocktail was good, bread and minestrone is very good and dinner entrees are delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. I love the music. Can't wait to bring back friends to try the antipasto platter and some wine.

OMG! The food here is amazing! I had the chicken parmesean with linguini and alfredo sauce. You can pick from a few different types of pasta. Their alfredo is so amazingly delicious I day dream about it! Lol 😋 I hiighly recommend this place! And the bread was wonderful. It has a light crisp on the outside and pillowy soft and delicious inside. Go getcha some folks!

I had the goat cheese chicken dish and my bf had the calzone and we were both happy with our food and the great service. I was especially thirsty and abbie kept the drinks coming without me having to ask, plus she had a great attitude and provided amazing service. Love having lunch here with friends and on a date 👍

Love this place. Fresh bread am I right? Chicken picata is my go to and chicken ceaser salad. Pissa is also good. Must husband gets steak with mushrooms med rare. The cook is always good vegis fresh. Tomato crazy on yhe bruscetta we Love it. Great staff and atmosphere always. Great for any occasion.

Great food! Everything was prepared and served well. Our server Andrew was pleasant, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we requested. One could tell that all the servers went out of their way and made the whole atmosphere in the restaurant very enjoyable. It speaks well of the staff and management. The personal pizza is enough to feed 4 people great price fresh toppings I've never been unsatisfied with their service always great no complaints on all their meals and I've tried alot very great place. UPDATE : Halibut topped with sauteed veggies over rice and my favorite the HUGE personal pizza ... Today was my first visit of many more to come. First I was greeted right away by a hostess, I was handed a menus while I waited for my guest to arrive and was told about the New York steak special. I was seated outside in the patio per preference and we had a great Waitress name Bianca. I have food sensitivities and she was able to accommodate me and my me all is exactly how I ordered. She was attentive and refilled my delicious Italian soda which I absolutely loved. Also because of food allergies I was not able to do the cream but nonetheless it was delicious. Unfortunately and fortunately towards the end I had a bit of an accident while in their patio. I was completely mortified and embarrassed to say the least. The waitress was absolutely kind and I noticed another lady that was sitting next to my table was questioning it looking to see what was happening. Am I surprised it was the owner so much I did not know is named Shanin. She was completely gracious towards me understanding and kind. I have learned that kindness is a motion of love. She did not know me but she showed me kindness and so did Bianca. It came up with an idea and helped me and my guest. Below you will see some photos of my drinking meal. However they were great but the human kindness shown to me today was even greater. Thank you for your heart of compassion. Proud to support a fellow small business woman owner.

Such a wonderful place for some Italian meals and is worth the price. It has a lovely vibe and plays Italian music like a real fancy place. Locally owned, great food, extensive menu, 1/2 priced wine bottles on Wednesdays, outdoor dining available, and excellent waitstaff. Vito's is our favorite Turlock restaurant.

I went for dinner with my boyfriend and it was a great first experience for me. A solo songstress highlighted the cozy atmosphere and made it more romantic. Service was excellent since we were asked numerous times if we needed anything by more than one person, not just our server. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is due to the chicken being overcooked but the rest of my dish was delicious!

The topping on the Margarita tasted and smelled great, the tomato sauce is very well done. But the crust is very disappointing for an Italian cuisine restaurant. Unfortunately no one in Turlock has come close to doing proper Pizza crust.

The place was a little dim. The waitress was nice. The pizza was not stone cooked. It felt like I had made it at home. It also needed more cooking. It took like 15 minutes before we got to our table. If it was stone cooked we should have gotten like five minutes or less

Margarita pizza tough dough was flavorless Just lackluster. Sauce too garlicky for a “margarita “ pizza. Server was OUTSATNDING!!! But her last day is coming quickly. Wonderful mojitos!

Vitos could use some updating, brighter lighting, improving certain dishes, and prompter service. The whole experience just felt sub-par. Not sure we'll be going back here!

I have dined in the restaurant prior and the food and service was good. Ordered a meal through DoorDash and it was horrible! The delivery was fine and within the time specified but the chicken was literally burnt to a crisp. Couldn’t even cut through it with a steak knife! And the dish was advertised on the menu as having a lemony creamy caper sauce. They must have missed that step. Very disappointed

Had reservations for 2 and was seated promptly. Provided bread, which was delicious. Made me really anticipate my dinner. Waited 25 minutes, no water provided, drinks, or order taken. Completely ignored. They sat a table of 10, promptly, and provided them water right away. Felt like we were nobodies. I’ve been coming here for years and this is the worst service ever. It’s not easy (parents to multiple kids) to schedule date nights and go out. Complete waste of time, and our money for the babysitter. I will never return here. 👎🏼 👎🏼👎🏼

Unfortunately, we had a family dinner here this evening and it was terrible. From the poor service, to the hour wait for our food, 2 terrible meals, and 3 drenched salads with dressing, I couldn’t eat it . I’m bummed I chose this place to celebrate my birthday, we drove here from Merced and my adult children joined us from out of town. I should have let our server know how disappointed we were, but we didn’t. We will not return.

We arrived around 4:40 pm to celebrate Valentine’s Day as a couple and were genuinely excited for the evening. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. Although we tried to be patient and understanding, it quickly became clear that service was extremely slow. We had arrived before rush hour and were seated immediately, so when it came to anything food-related arriving at our table, we were surprised by the delays. The bread took about 20 minutes to arrive after we were seated. Our appetizers took over 30 minutes, and we did not receive our entrées until around 5:45 pm. As the restaurant became busier, we noticed that guests who arrived during rush hour were being greeted warmly and appeared to be served much more quickly, which made the situation even more confusing. At one point, I overheard our waitress asking the kitchen about our order, which made us feel as though it may have been forgotten. The overall pacing of the service felt disorganized and inattentive. I have dined here before with a friend and received noticeably better service, so this was unexpected. The most disappointing part of the evening was the $50 steak my fiancé ordered. Unfortunately, much of it consisted of fat and was largely inedible. He was only able to eat about half, if that. For the price, the quality did not meet expectations. After we finished what we could eat, the staff quickly asked if we needed boxes. Another employee (not our server) asked if everything was okay, and a third person brought us the check. It felt as though our server was avoiding addressing the issue directly. We considered mentioning our concerns but ultimately chose to leave due to the overall discomfort of the experience. We paid in full, including a tip, and left feeling disappointed. If the restaurant owner is reading this, I sincerely hope there is a greater emphasis on serving and treating all guests equally. It was uncomfortable to feel that three different staff members were aware something was wrong yet no one directly addressed it. Some additional training on checking in with guests, initiating strong customer service, and offering solutions when issues arise would make a significant difference. We had hoped for a special Valentine’s dinner, but unfortunately, the service, wait times, and food quality did not reflect the experience we expected.
