Holy schmoly this place is good. Be aware that you can take anything you can't finish on home. The gumbo was so flavorful. You want to stick your finger in it to see if there's any way to reach the bottom of the bowl. It's so large. The beef ribs are incredible, as are the baby backs. I asked one person how they liked the chicken, and all they could do is just nod their head up and down and grin while the juices ran down their cheeks onto their otherwise clean shirt. Shirt. Absolutely recommend this place.

Lucille’s is the best place in the world 🌎 for BBQ. The beef ribs and the briscuit are a great compination. The atmosphere, the decorations, and the service are great. We were lucky to have Nate as our attendant. He was very knowledgeable and polite. On our second visit, we were taken care off by Sophie. She's really sweet and extremely courteous. Last night was a revisit to Lucille’s Smokehouse bar-B-Que in The District shopping 🛍️ center in Tustin, California following my visit last year. I was there to enjoy The beef ribs. The result is still the same; the beef ribs are succulent and delicious. Thanks to the courteous Jashua for an exceptional service. Last 2 pictures were taken yesterday.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is a nicely decorated restaurant. I came here without a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. The staff was very friendly and motivated. I had BABY BACK RIBS "Lucille's Favorite!" with grilled vegetables. The ribs are now one of my favorites as well ! Very tasty with the BBQ sauce. I enjoyed a nice cold beer with it. All in all, a nice evening.

Best restaurant I've been to in my 30 years of life, honest. The service was so great, we're from Utah visiting and everything was just so beautiful. I ahd the spicy chicken sandwich, it was so good. Not overpowering with spice, great tangy flavor. The fries were cooked to perfection and the ranch was so flavorful. I asked for a lot and they brought it out in a gravy pouring dish. My kids got the pizza and chicken tenders and demolished it. My husband got the 2 piece meat, half rack baby back ribs and bbq chicken with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and could barely breathe from stuffing his face so much. The sauce bottles on the tables are SO flavorful. The waiter Kevin, was so kind and upbeat, had helpful tips and was interactive with my kids, playing peek a boo from outside the window and involving them in the conversation. Then they brought out hot wet rags for our hands!!! And the water is in a cute Mason jar! I am so in love with this place and all the cute decor and delicious food and kind faces!!!!

J Zhou has been a staple in Tustin for many years, and it’s easy to understand why. It’s a trusted Chinese restaurant for the community. We came for lunch dim sum and ordered a bunch of dishes. The baked BBQ pork buns were amazing, with soft buns and delicious BBQ pork inside. I also enjoyed their fried spring egg rolls; they were crispy with tasty shrimp filling. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Service was good and the environment is very pleasant. Parking is easy since it’s located in a large shopping mall. A reliable spot for dim sum in Tustin.

My first time here. It's the first Chinese restaurant that I did not see live sea fish tanks. The food was good and the service is exceptional. Great to bring your client here for dinner.

I won't be surprised when their gone. Quality has gone so far down I don't think I ever need to go back. They just don't care what they deliver. Of the Rack of Ribs I would say 1/4 was burnt, over cooked and held in warmers for years. Was inedible. The bravado for the Brisket being moist, HA! Driest piece of Brisket I've ever had. I used to love Lucilles but the quality was soooo poor I see no reason to recommend or return. Wasted a lot of money for poor quality. Pick it up or you will be gone very soon.

Ordered food to go. I ordered the two meats combo plate rib tips only coleslaw and potato salad. The rib tips were fatty, I got no coleslaw and got gravy and had to order cornbread and honey butter for extra price!! Wow!! Updated July 16 2025: Management reached out and is looking to address what happened that day and offered a gift card to come back to any location to try their food again. 1 star to 3 star based on service followup. Came in for lunch at noon, not crowded, food came out 30 mins after ordering, 3 salads and a lunch 2 meat combo. Combo plate sauce burned to the wax paper, tri tip on salads dry and tough. Not worth the wait and certainly not worth the portions. Shown is the lunch 2 item combo. 3oz of partially pulled pork and a burned sausage. Sat in the pass too long. Potato salad was fantastic.

Last minute change last night to pick this restaurant. Upon arrival, sat in bar area so avoid the wait, and was tended to consistently by staff. No complaints there. Food wise however, extremely terrible experience. Brisket that melted in mouth that was cold, flavorless and tasted boiled. Pulled pork that was "just ok" but unfinished due to not standing out. And ribs that were extremely overcooked and sweet, with meat that was dry and chewy in the worst kinds of ways. Mash potatoes that where soggy and wet with water and cheese oil, and Mac and cheese that tasted worse than Kraft. Super disappointing experience and worth half of the 80$ they charged for all that food that caused food poisoning after we left.

Reserved a time at 6:45 PM on Thanksgiving. The place wasn’t totally crowded and we were seated at 7:25!!! After being seated, which took a further 10 minutes with a table switch up, we took our order. Our food got mixed up with another Asian table behind us. I’m 90% sure our waiter was somehow intoxicated because it took her until 8:20 PM to realize we had no food beside one dish (family of 5 BTW), to ask what was wrong. Also, our table in GENERAL was highly neglected and never checked on. Our food finally came at 8:30 and it wasn’t even that good. The meat was dry and overcooked although requested at medium rare. We understand the rush and stress of serving during Thanksgiving, and were thankful for those working that day, however, even our friends who were seated after us got their food before us. We came last year for Thanksgiving as well, and service wasn’t this bad.

Food was amazing, restaurant was clean but service was disappointing. We came in on Halloween night and the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered 2 of the specials that were advertised on the outside sign and on the menu which included dessert. As we were finishing our dinner, the server told us that we can pay on the tablet on the table and as he walked away, we had to yell that we still wanted the dessert. The dessert came out and he said the check was updated and he left. The check was now $20 more than when he originally presented it! He never returned and we could not find anyone to help us with this discrepancy. Buyer beware! They advertise a certain price but charge for more!
