I Think this is a great place to watch good football games . The staff and bartenders are very Nice . Summer is a hard worker and pays attention to her customers. If I ever own a Bar or sports Bar she would be the one I would want to manage it . Nothing but 4 stars for Summer

Super chill experience and tons of TVs with different stuff to watch, tons of choices for drinks. The bartender Addie was the best, So polite and prompt with the good service.

This is my favorite bar in Tyler. It's non-judgy and the bartenders are great. It has a strong base of regulars, and if you go here enough it becomes a Cheers. There's a pool table, foosball, and darts. Wednesday is karaoke. It is a sports bar so it's buzzing busy when a popular game is on. You can also catch a good soccer match here. Sports zone also has a surprisingly good food menu, too. The pizzas are great. They have salads and sandwiches, too, and one of the best veggie burgers in town.

I can’t believe that Lily doesn’t run this place by now. She is fabulous and always on point with the drinks and I have been coming here for 5 years. Addie is always on point with the customers and Summer is always making new friends and friendly and serving people as if they’re family. These three are absolutely stellar and I can’t thank them enough for all that they do.

Hands down best sports bar in Tyler!! My friends and I come every Tuesday night for Texas Tuesdays. The service is always fantastic, whether the place is packed or if it’s more low key. Addie, Jess, Lilly, and Maddy are always on the spot with quick service. And they frequently greet us by name! Also, both the fries and wings are fantastic. You have to check this place out if you haven’t already!

Nice bar. Plenty of TVs, friendly staff, food is pretty good for a bar. Had pizza and wings. Pizza was decent and wings were excellent. Drinks cold. Food, sports, and booze all done well.

Great atmosphere to have an adult beverage and watch a game. Bartender had a great personality and was inviting. Will love to have outings there with my team in the future.

Bartender was bubbly and nice. Decent beer selection with full bar. Plenty of televisions to watch the game. Pool table and foosball for added entertainment. Smoking patio out back. It's on the main strip in downtown Tyler.

They have this new bartender that just left a bad taste in my mouth....took my friend with me and he said the same thing. Made us pay right when we ordered our drinks. Never had that happen before, anywhere. Came again with a girlfriend the next time and he made her uncomfortable by the way he was rushing her and made her feel bad for ordering a martini because" it is busy in here and that takes too long." Bummed her mood out, ugh. She was ready to go after that and so was I. Which is bad because EVERYONE else that works there is the best. I look to see if he is in there now before i go in. Lol, its like he is the Tyler Soup Nazi off Seinfield.

Went to go watch an NBA playoff game and they didn't have the speaker on for the game and there was no food options besides pizza. Looks like a cool bar but it was dead on a weekend.

He was too busy hitting on a girl at the end of the bar to give us decent service. Still a good atmosphere and decent place to hang out with friends.

Update: To clarify... I was sitting at the bar, unattended, and the Bartender was sitting at a table. The bartender sat at a table with a few people, the only other people in the place. Opened 1 can of beer for me and then never checked again. It was a Tues at 5:00 after holiday weekend so wasn't expecting much.

The staff had possibly the worst conduct I have ever seen from anybody in this industry. People from Tyler are famous for being self-righteous, arrogant snobs. If you want to see Tylerites in their full glory, there may be no better place to go than this bar.

Just don't. Bartender was SO rude. She never even asked us what we wanted to drink. We stood at the bar top waiting to order for 10 minutes even though there was MAYBE 7 people in the bar. Its a no for me.

We stood at the bar waiting for the bartender to acknowledge us to order. She was at the other end talking. We waited more than 5mins. We made the mistake of ordering another drink- she started our drinks and then when 4 locals came in she set our glasses down to wait on them. Very poor service on her part! ***After reading other reviews it seems like the bartenders dont care to serve out of towners *** It was last Wednesday, the bartender had braded dark hair, about 5'7".

On Saturday night (October 22, 2022), the bartender, Summer, falsely accused my friends of having “liquor and a Gar” on them and proceeded to kick them out of the establishment. This was 100% false and if you review the cameras, you would have proof of that. We walked in right after them (because my bf and I were meeting them) and witnessed very rude and unprofessional behavior towards this situation. Summer proceeded to apologize to my bf who was not involved in this matter at all. Never once apologized for falsely accusing our friends. After speaking with several Tyler people and old regulars of this bar, they ALL had similar stories of the staff being rude to customers. After we left, a gentleman visiting from Houston also said how awful the employees handled this and said he would never recommend this bar. If you are in Tyler, TX I would not recommend going to Sports Zone.

The bartender, Summer, falsely accused my husband of having “a fifth of liquor and a gar” on us when we arrived. I don’t know what this woman’s problem was with us, but I know we’ll never spend our money here. We planned to meet up with a group before my class reunion at Rick’s, which we happily did at ETX Brewing after being treated poorly at Sportzone.

This is possibly the worst bar in America. First, they charge a cover for a sub-par Dj. Second, I have never been so insulted when I attempted to complain about the poor service. I tried to complain to the manager In charge of the business section, and I was basically told the manager didn’t care I was dissatisfied. Basically to sum it up, this place isn’t that great but the drinks prices are average for town.

I went up here for the first time and it was alright. The bartender asked what I wanted to drink and I said a beer. She acknowledged it and then went down and started talking to the regulars. Made them drinks and I never got a drink for the entire time I waited at the bar. Waited for awhile and she never came back around. So I left.

seems like I have to literally come by every day to get good service, ya'll should think about maybe having two bartenders. not happy about the jukebox not having any latin music available, ya'll should look into replacing that love country music but not trying to listen to that every time I go to that bar.

I NEVER write bad reviews but I truly hope this catches the eyes of the owner. First, this place has everything a good sports bar needs to be successful with one key ingredient missing - friendly and welcoming staff. The wings were the best I have ever had but the service was lacking (being kind). Sad to see such potential going to waste! Owners, please either train your current staff to be friendly and to wait on the customers or just regroup and find staff that knows that if noone comes to the establishment there will be no establshement. BTW. The manager was very rude and staff seemed like they were walking on eggshells.

Well, whoever the bartender is, is clearly VERY irritated with ANY customers being here. My drink tastes like garbage, and in a normal bar I would tell them and most bartenders would make you a new drink at no charge, but with the weird irritable attitide she clearly has, I don't even feel comfortable asking. I will never, ever come here again. The place might be okay if it didn't have a rude bartender that hates everyone that walks in.

I really liked the place but I can't have people stealing from me. Update: she now has red streaks.

My husband, a friend, and I came in last night hoping for a fun night out doin some karaoke and having some drinks (we ended up here from Where’s Rufus Sports Bar- other patrons there recommended SportsZone). Much to our surprise, they apparently don’t accept passports because they aren’t “valid” because they don’t scan?? As stated we visited another bar that scanned our friends passport no issue. I think either the bartenders need to retake their TABC license our they need management to train them differently. Because- what? Passports are valid ID… bartenders that have their TABC should know this??
