I just ordered a quick dinner tonight, pizza and wings. It was such a great experience start to finish. The girl who took my order was super sweet and professional. The food was delivered to my door in half of the estimated wait time and the driver John was amazing. And the food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be ordering from La Roma again very soon!

I just moved into the area and found this gem of a restaurant. The pizza is great with good crust and whatever toppings you want. The subs and dinner dishes are also top notch. But one of the best parts of this wonderful establishment is the staff. You can tell the owner appreciates your business with his warm greeting and making sure to thank me every time I get food whether it's picking up or dining in. Miguel is also great he's very attentive and a great worker. I know if I owned or managed a business I would want an employee just like him! I will continue to dine at La Roma for years to come! I’m not a review writing kind of guy but something happened this evening that made me realize that this review was long overdue. I have been a patron of La Roma’s since they opened many years ago. From a cold beer at the bar after work to first dates and family gatherings La Roma’s has always been a relaxed atmosphere, delicious food favorite for myself and my local family and friends. I was a single Dad for several years and La Roma’s was our go to spot for me and my son, usually weekly if not more during that time. It’s been awhile since then but tonight when I called in a take out order I recognized that the person taking my order was the owner of La Roma’s. I did not give my name only my address and he immediately knew who I was and asked how and where I’d been. I explained that I had recently married and that my single Dad days were over, but that I sincerely appreciated his keeping myself and my son alive for all those years lol. With my order tonight he sent me a bottle of wine to congratulate me. That really meant alot to me!!! So much more than the value of the wine! La Roma’s is the definition of a family owned and operated, built from the ground up, local businesses. It’s clear the moment that you walk in the door and your greeted with a warm smile from the owner, his family and staff each and every time. Its clear in the food quality, customer service and the atmosphere. Thank you for the wine my friend!! Cheers to many more years of doing business with my favorite local restaurant!!

The new La Roma restaurant in Port Ewen is very good. I had chicken parm and my husband had chicken Marsala. The food Was very good. We liked the new decor.

I love this place, the food is always fresh, however I was there the other night, it was a Friday and they had this guitar player......he was great, very talented but did not need the amplification and the song mix was classic rock, great songs but for a sit down meal in that establishment you would want some Esteban type of sound, just my opinion, this other guy was great but too loud and you guys want just some nice acoustic background music while you have a pizza some taco some pasta and some sangria ciaociao

We love La Roma pizza and their entrees can't be beat!! We always love the seafood specials. Also their authentic street tacos are so yummy!

I own a shop just up the road in Esopus and frequently order food for my employees. Today, I had a customer in the shop and asked if they wanted something to eat while they waited on their repair. They mentioned they worked at La Roma and told me everything there is good so we gave it a try. She wasn’t wrong! The food was excellent, the service was fast, and everyone here was more than satisfied. This is definitely going to be our new go-to spot for takeout. Highly recommend!

Owners have changed hands inside the last decade but the food is still great. They use higher quality ingredients that most local places. I will say the chorizo on my taco was weird. Did not look or taste anything like the hundreds of chorizo tacos I’ve eaten in the southwest. The taco was good to the uninitiated, but if you’ve had real tacos, these will fall flat. Staff was attentive and polite.

We got a variety of tacos and they were all amazing! The cactus taco was interesting and we really enjoyed it. We also got some pizza and it was delicious. They have a make your own kids pizza and my boys loved that. Our waitress was phenomenal very attentive and accommodating. We were there 2/22/25

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ALL of the food is delicious. Tacos, pizza (some of my favorite in the area), Italian dishes. It's also a very clean and pleasant atmosphere, nice bathrooms. They have good ice cream and usually a cake or two for dessert! I put 10-20/ person here but you can easily fill up on less with ice cream and pizza or just a drink and dessert.

We went for lunch and had house salad and white pizza. It was all delicious: salad was fresh, dressing tasty. Pizza was really good, dough very fresh and vegetables also. My 13-yo daughter loved it all too. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area! Next time we’ll try the Mexican side of the menu.

Great family owned spot! Food is delicious - had amazing tacos! Such a cute place too. Came here for breakfast and had the delicious arrachera torta. Sweet mexican bread was freshly made and paired perfectly with the mexican hot chocolate. Omelette was yummy!

Comfortable place to bring the family. Everyone has their favorite dish they get almost every time we go. Heads up, if you are a Ceasar salad person like myself, skip this one. Not really a Ceasar salad dressing, maybe it says so on the bottle they use but it's not really, also they didn't dress it which is how you serve Ceasar salad, no parm cheese but there were cherry tomatoes (not really authentic to the idea of Ceasar salad). But nice big croutons!

Great food! They often make mistakes with the order that I need to call and fix. They even double charged on one instance when there was an issue with the billing system and didn't notify us for weeks--they waited for us to notice. Still, we order from them all the time because they are local, have nice staff, and make great Italian food. Just watch your bill and check your order!

Great pizza and Italian food, fast and friendly service, and delivery, too, are all reasons to make this a place of choice in the Port Ewen area. Alcohol is served. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Parking is generally easy, even though it's right off of 9W. Convenient.

Amazing little restaurant! My friends and I were visiting headless horsemen in the area and we got there early. One of the employees told us about this place to eat. We walked in, waited to be seat. It was pretty fast a young lady came out and greeted us, walked us to our table. We had pizza, wings and fries. Oh and a oreo cake. All of the food items for amazing. Just the way we ordered them. If your ever in the area, this place is a must try !!!

It's hard to really give a review on this location. I stopped in for a slice and there wasn't really much of a selection and that is the reason I went with three stars and not 4. The other la Roma in kingston I used to order my pizza from and it never disappointed.

The food is okay pizza and simple Italian fare. I ordered my pizza thin and crispy; I thought the pizza was too thick and the crust was a little dense and chewy. The service was friendly and the restaurant appears to be well maintained. It has a definite hometown atmosphere. Overall, I consider it a good pizza/Italian restaurant, but not my first choice.

We have been wanting to try La Roma pizza for a while now. We decided to order 2 cheese pies for lunch, the girl at the counter was very sweet. The pizza however was less edible and more drinkable as there was so much grease that it almost liquefied the cheese. We found ourselves drinking the pizza over eating the pizza. The crust was thin but had a crunch. La Roma we really wanted to like your pizza but with just a little more care and pride in your pizza we think it would be good.

Jacked up prices, missing ingredients 2nd unhappy surprise ordering take out. First time, time they charged $65 for TWO (2) pizzas with partial toppings (hot honey grandmas, which tasted good, and half cheese, half meat lovers). But who can afford 2 pizzas for $65? They didn’t need to jack up the price by inputting each topping separately, as if it was a custom order, but they did. Crazy. Tonight I decided to give them another try. Ordered the Hot Honey Grandmas pizza - it had NO Tomato SAUCE. What? Dry. Flavorless. From the description I never would have suspected this was a dry white pizza. Why don't they warn people about missing this essential ingredient? Suggestion: fix the food descriptions and train the nice lady who takes orders to better inform people when ordering, so she asks the right questions to avoid unhappy surprises.

We only had pizza which was good. But the one thing that bothered me was they charge the customer 3.5% extra if you use a credit or debit card. That is nonsense. In the 47 years that I have used a credit card, the only place that charge extra are gas stations. With 3 pizzerias in a small town of Port Ewen, They lost a customer over $1. I won't be back.

Not traditional Italian cuisine. My sons pizza had a nasty hair in it. Penne a la vodka is tomato sauce def not vodka sauce. Chicken Marsala has no flavor. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Don't waste your money. The food was below average. Wings, fries, pasta and philly cheese steak had zero taste. 4 percent more with credit card! Never again

Very inconsistent food. The chicken wings can be good,but most times they are under cooked and very little sauce. Pizza is one of the better pizzas around, but again not consistent. They also charge you extra for using a credit/debit card instead of cash.

I ordered a pizza for pick-up and was shocked to find out that they charged me a extra 4% for paying with my debt card. I was not informed of this when I placed the order.

Recently moved to Ulster, I've ordered delivery from this restaurant twice and both times my food has been absolutely tasteless, over priced and unappealing. Its an immediate notice this restaurant utilizes frozen foods/ produce. This facility is running only because they're the only thing in the town and they deliver. If you don't want to be disappointed and waist your money I suggest you go somewhere else.

If there were an option for no stars, that's what I'd pick. Food is decent but overpriced and the service is despicable. People chased down my mother in law in the parking lot for a side of sauce that came with her dinner. In short, ridiculous.

Very disappointed ordered pepperoni calzone got just mozzarella. Called I was told I didn't charge for the pepperoni. I asked for new one to me made, owner says I'm walking out the door. Will never ever order again. Very poor customer service and owner doesn't seem to care.

Ordered a chicken parm sub and a pizza to go. Took 20 minutes to get to establishment to pick up and still had to wait another 20 minutes at a place where there wasn't anyone else in the line. To top it off chicken parm sub was barely edible. 1 thin piece of chicken on a sub roll that was barely 6 inches. More fries which weren't asked for then needed. Pickle on the side was the highlight of the order. Which was likely from a jar. On to the pizza, very bland and sauce tasted like it was straight out of a jar or can. Dough was limp and also very tasteless. Would not recommend this place at all. Spent $40 on these 2 items that is severely overpriced for what was gotten.

Staff told me the price of my wings and I was surprised. 4$ more than the website price. I called back and asked if there were a delivery charge for a delivery less than a mile away and they said yes. Interesting. 1 mile. Asked if the delivery fee went to the driver and couldn’t get a straight answer which usually means no. I will not support them anymore.

Sadly this is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. But I must say with every single order there is error. I do not know if it's an issue of English second language but that would be my guess tonight I had a woman who made a plane cheeseburger medium rare with bacon lettuce tomato and onion and condiments sadly when I stated it is supposed to be plain she became upset with me when I asked for the owner she became more upset with me when I stated I wanted it done correctly and I wanted the charge voided she stated I said I wanted to leave I said no I just want the charge corrected to the right price after waiting 30 minutes for the order to be ready in the first place I waited another 20 for it to come for them to try to charge me the same price again and then to get home and find no bacon but still lettuce tomato and onion. Again I state that sadly I like their food, but when 10 out of 10 orders have been incorrect and they now get an attitude with me for their error it is just too much only go here if you have time to bring a Spanish-English translation dictionary or have the patience of a saint
