Came here a bit late on a Monday night for dinner. My friends had been telling me how good this place is for quite awhile, so when the taco cravings kicked in Taco El Chingon answered the call. The place might be a little on the small side but don't let that fool you, this place is packed with plenty of flavor. The interior is trendy and clean, a couple of places to sit if you feel inclined to stay awhile, but you can take out just as easily too. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for service, the woman behind the counter was sweet as could be and had no problem serving us even though we came in so late. Food also came out quick. Food was excellent and dare I say some of the best tacos I've ever had! We had the chips and guac to start and everything was as fresh as could be. The tacos we got were the carnitas, the chicken, beef rib, the Al pastor, and the carne asada. It's hard to pick just one favorite, but if you're only having one taco (like some sort of crazy person) my pick is on the carnitas. Perfectly juicy and flavorful. And let me tell you, they don't shy away from stuffing these tacos full, you get every last penny worth. Honorable mention to the chicken, a lot of places just phone their chicken in, but their chicken is actually good and flavorful! They have such a vast menu of a dozen other options at least that I want to try that will keep me coming back for more. Parking can be a little tight in the shared lot when it's busy, but there is also some side street parking available too if you don't mind a little extra walk.

We were looking for a good Mexican spot and we went with el chingon. The food was extremely fresh and flavorful, definitely made with love unlike a few Mexican spots around. The nachos were great, and well worth it with the portions. Birria was tender , burrito was huge , everything was amazing. Highly recommend.

Went here for the first time on 2/10/24. Quaint little mom and pop spot with great food, and a wide menu. I had the Burro Loco, which is steak and fries in a burrito, the Birria Tacos (shown in pic), and the chicken quesadillas. They were all AMAZING! Service with a smile as well. Run, don't walk!!!

Super Delicious Authentic fresh food served with a variety of great home made sauces. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The flavors are amazing. Definitely worth finding. It is a little hidden in the back of a strip mall, don't miss it!

We stopped in after checking Google for the highest rated local Mexican restaurant. There were no tables available but just 3 outside under the tent. The workers added a couple of extra tables for us under the tent . We ordered assorted tacos etc. And everything was great. The food presentation was nice and tasted great. A little side container of guac and salsa and fresh chips came with the order. The portion sizes were good as well. The 5 of us in our party all agreed that this restaurant was a good pick and is a keeper.

Phenomenal authentic Mexican food! Reasonably priced, but what separates them from the rest is how everything is homemade. You can really taste the difference in the tortillas, meat and sauce. An absolute must, will be a recurring spot for me!

There I was craving tacos and thanks to google I found this gem. I ordered 3 tacos (2 skirt steak and 1 chorizo) and their chips and guac! The staff was very friendly and the tacos were authentic and packed with flavor. The guacamole was freshly made and I couldn't eat enough. They even brought out a Mexican dessert for us to try complementary. If you are craving authentic Mexican food and you are in the area, don't miss out on this!

We ordered and picked up we got a steak quesadilla three street tacos shrimp bowl a salsa and guacamole and chips it was expensive and not very good not seasoned well the guacamole is not fresh and the shrimp are extremely low quality the salsa is not good either that was my first clue I was going to be disappointed. I had high hopes for this place Because there are so many great reviews I am not sure what all the hype is hopefully they take the comments into consideration although the woman that works there is extremely nice and the place is clean
