Offers a wide array of food choices including burgers, pizza, pastas, wings, etc. Server was upbeat and friendly. Place had two large bars and too many TVs to count. Called ahead with a group of >25 and they handled our party without issue. Pricing was surprisingly low for quality of food and drinks. Would recommend.

Greetings & Salutations. Since moving here from CT last August I haven't gotten out too much to get myself a treat. I tend to just eat the same thing each and every night. I want to say that this Fish & Chips which I got tonight is SOOO!!! good. The tarter sauce is absolutely delicious. Mix a little bit of hot sauce in and stir it up. CHEFS KISS!!!! The young girl who took my take out order couldn't have been any nicer, kind and understanding. I'll certainly be back. I apologize that I don't know the girls name, but on the print out it reads Server: AM Retail Regardless I'm happy, it was plenty for me to eat and I'm full. Good size portions. See images. Everything came to $17.31which is reasonable.

Staff is the best. Our waitress was so sweet to our kids and super accommodating. She ran out to us as my husband forgot his sunglasses. Food is also amazing and great portion sizes.

I sat at the bar it was my first time visiting a Bubba’s 23. My bartender’s name was Rhianna and she was very friendly and attentive. Since it was my first time Rhianna made several recommendations and patiently answered all my questions about the menu. I ordered the smash burger with a mixture of seasoned and fire fries. Rhianna recommended the homemade Ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for the fire fries and it was delicious. The manager also came out and welcomed me and she was also very friendly and gave me a first time guess coupon. I would definitely recommend Bubba’s 23 especially if Rhianna is working.

This After-Church-Lunch-Date with my beautiful family made Sunday extra special! The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help! Our waitress (whose name is Faith) was extremely helpful and checked on us regularly! Her genuine character of wanting to serve us with world-class customer service was greatly appreciated! The food was PHENOMENAL and Delicious! The garlic knots are a must! The house salad (yes-salad) was delicious and the veggies were crisp! The chicken fried chicken, pastas, onion rings (THE BEST I’ve ever had), chicken sandwiches that were ordered were flavorful and cooked to perfection! Next time I’m up here again visiting my family, we’ll definitely stop by again! God bless!

First time going here and had 5 people with me. Had appetizers, cheese sticks, teriyaki wings and fried pickles, DELICIOUS!! Had a bacon cheese burger and everyone had burgers as well and pizza. Great environment, first class service, even the manager and front hostess checked on us. The margaritas were great, the rum drinks were great too but the service on my Birthday were awesome guys, kudos to y'all!!

Food is normally on-point. I only do take-out, and I've had several issues with the hostess/host people at the front, over the years. They're better about bringing food out now, but I used to have to wait like half an hour even after my food was reported as being ready. Either the host/hostess just wasn't anywhere to be found, or when they do bring the food, theres often items missing. When I show them, they are usually bothered to have to retrieve the additional items. Other than that, would have been a 5. I'll put up with their attitude once a month for a good dinner.

Been to this one a few of times. The 2nd time was a disappointment because of the steak my wife ordered. She asked for no bacon on it and she got bacon in the blue cheese topping she ordered. We sent it back and they rinsed it off so the steak came back lukewarm. Sent it back again and the new steak was tough as nails. It was handled appropriately by the manager on duty and the other food was delicious.

Bubba's 33 is my favorite place and we are new to San Antonio. I guess after 15 minutes after being seated, we asked if we were going to be waited on, the response of the wait staff should have prompted me to go ahead and leave. But, i know reasons exist so we stayed. After watching the adjacent table receive our drinks, we should have left. 45 minutes after our drinks, we finally received our. sandwich and dip. Food was okay, not the typical level typically experienced. Service was the main issue. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the staff. We'll try again to see because everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

We decided to try Bubba's 33 again, the food was great as always but once again the service not so good. Waitress didn't get the drink order correct then had to ask 2-3 times for napkins, straws never got lid for dressing to go. When I told her I had to send drink back she didn't even ask why or show concern for customers service, seemed to be overwhelmed. Really like the food but not sure it's worth dealing with the poor service. Even asked to see a Mgr. but guess she didn't pass that on.

Were regulars here. We usually sit at the bar with Sahian. We love Sahian. We see one of the servers Bianca run by yelling. She's always in a bad mood so we're used to it. We see her go up to the front and start screaming at one of the very small young girl host. I felt nauseous. I lost my appetite that little girl looked so scared. We saw this happen multiple times. We paid our tab and left. I don't think we'll be coming back.

The price of my bill went UP after I asked about a military discount!! And not just one or two dollars... My husband and I went on a date here on wednesday night. We were there to watch the lakers and the spurs game and it was fairly empty so we had high expectations. We got seated right away. Our waiter was fantastic, even though it took a long time to get our drinks and the ONE meal we ordered came out in parts. Fast forward to when it's time to pay. The bill is $45.00. Cool. No problem. I asked them to add my military discount as I am a veteran and it states on their menu they honor the discount on certain menu items on Wednesdays. How does my bill then go UP TO over $50!? It turns out the manager had accidentally. added an improper discount to my meal which resulted in the original $45 charge. Now my meals over $50... I don't mind paying the difference (and we did) but for the manager to not offer any kind of apologies or anything. Really? It was kind of just like a "Oh well, we messed up. Deal with it..." kind of situation that's just really unacceptable. And to be honest, there is no reason the original price couldn't be honored. You put it on our bill, let us see it and then increased the price... But I've already shared my incident with my family and my friends and we won't bring our money here anymore. It was our first time here and our last time here as well. Service matters.

Wow.. this place just gets worse and worse each time we go. The burgers are delicious but the service SUCKS... our waiter was too busy trying to be a ladies man and flirt with the staff then take care of his tables. The manager was no better, no one checked on us and tried to over charge us on the burger Monday. We had to get another waitress attention to adjust the price.. Our waiter saw and acknowledged we needed assistance during the other waitress attempt to assist us instead of taking over or at least at minimum come to our table and ask if we needed something? He simply walked away and put his attention on the football game on the screen and stood next to another fellow co worker and watch the game!!??? Just horrible service! Look at your cameras if you're able.. Just horrible Customer service! Unexceptable!! Way below any Restaurants standards! Don't think we'll be back for a WHILE or until new evening management is appointed!

Updating this review after the service we just received tonight. We will not be back and will no longer be regulars here. Not only was the service horrible but bar staff was talking versus making drinks, waited over 15mins for a drink while the table seated 10mins after us got theirs. Not friendly. Once I got my old fashion is was less than half full WITH the large ice cube in it. I honestly could go on but at this point forget my other review. We will no longer be back. As a regular with my gf, I will say that Bubbas is our go to! Nessa is typically our server and she’s amazing! The other night however we ordered curbside for the first time and to say the least it was not a good experience. The manager Daniel spoke with us and said she’d email a resolution however it was not the resolution she promised over the phone. Today we went to dine in and she was not in to resolve but when asking to speak with a manager to resolve we got Juan. Juan was amazing in resolving our issue AND the food we received today was absolutely in alignment with the quality of food that originally got us hooked on Bubbas to begin with the! So consider this a shoutout review for Juan and kudos to Bubbas kitchen redemption 😊

Made friends with some old employees and became a regular here and I regularly heard all about the ongoings. Have eaten here many times and here’s a review. Food: The food is good, can be great. I love the burgers, and the pizzas are also phenomenal. Cold beer, and the couple of cocktails I’ve had there were also amazing. The bartenders know their stuff and are more personable than you get at most other chain restaurants. Service: The service from the servers has always been great in my experience. There’s a manager there, Jasmine who always seems to be in a bad mood or like she would rather be doing anything other than her job. Always seemingly in a bad mood, and my friends are always complaining about her lack of personal accountability. The rest of the management team I’ve talked to is pretty decent at least aside from her. Atmosphere: It’s Americana vibes. Two bars, tons of seating. This place has gotta be the coldest restaurant in town though, bring a hoodie and Ben in August. Not to wrap back around to the manager again, but you can tell when she’s there immediately when you walk in. Even the hosts act differently. Honestly if you’re having a big party etc there, I’d call and make sure she isn’t running the place beforehand. Things have changed a lot over the past two/three years of being a regular, her aptitude for management hasn’t gotten better if anything has gotten far worse. Depending on who’s running the place, it could be a 8/10, it could be a 1/10.
