My wife and I were blown away by chef Danny. 8 or 9 courses of home cooked Italian food. And when I say home cooked, I mean literally cooked at home. The food is fresh, local ingredients and plentiful. Danny's story is touching and he's a kind soul. It's hard to leave without feeling bonded to the space. The food is not your normal Italian fair. Its the food you'll find on your table if you were a farm worker in Italy. No menu, no drinks. It's 100% chefs choice. Loved the mussels, salads, greens and sausage and eggplant. Oh and garlic bread.

What a great experience. A six-course fresh from scratch Italian meal. Dan was the chef, server, and entertainment. You never know what you will have. Dan serves whatever he decides to make but it's all delicious. Six of us went and with tax and gratuity it was $32/$33 per person. Fun night!

The best Italian restaurant in town! You can really tell that they serve homecooked Italian food through the its taste. The service is great and the atmosphere at the place is just so cozy and authentic. Food prices are reasonable since they are really serving fresh food with fresh ingredients.

Danny is the owner and enjoys interacting with his customers serving, talking, joking, and even poking fun at them from time to time. A course by course breakdown would be a bit much, but I will say that the bruschetta and eggplant were my 2 favorites of the meal. Having said that everything was amazingly good. It is a BYOB restaurant, so we brought wine. They have ice water and iced tea. Reservations are required and if you’re not comfortable with the family style, chef’s choice, you might get made fun of by Danny - then it’s probably not for you. Our group absolutely loved it and we will be back.

Six of us gathered here last night for a birthday celebration. Dan, the owner, as well as chef, server, cashier, is only open on Saturday evening. There was one other family of 10 gathered at a nearby table. We arrived at 6 and it’s a byob, so enjoyed chatting and a glass of wine before the main event. You don’t know what you’re getting but I can assure you it was all outstanding. Other than the first course, it is all served family style. The first course, soup, was served starting at 630 and was followed by bruschetta and bread, antipasto, mussels, greens and beans, sausage in red sauce, eggplant Parmesan to die for and finally pasta and meatballs. The oohs and aahs from each one of us was a symphony and each of us had our favorite. Payment is in cash, only $35 per person and the bill is presented with tax and 20% gratuity included as well as an ice cream sandwich, a refreshing way to end the night. A must try fun and delicious experience.

We had an awesome time here for my birthday. A generously portioned 8 course traditional Italian meal will have you stuffed and with plenty of delicious leftovers to take home and enjoy another meal. The owner, Dan, was our host, the excellent chef, as well as our server, and all with a fun sarcastic sense of humor. We were informed ahead of time to bring our own drinks which was odd but good advice. Reservations are required and at least a couple weeks in advance is recommended. You'll enjoy it more if you are Right minded....crazy libs should probably pass. Don't worry about the spartan ambiance as the amazing quality and quantity of food will leave you more than satisfied. You also can't beat the price for all that you get. This is truly a gem that we'll be sure to come back for.

And the you get the bill and it's how the hell can Danny pull this off for the cheap cheap price! Would be that much if you went to Burger King! The atmosphere /hospitality made me feel as if we were quests in his own house!! Love love love it!! Top notch!

It would be nice to mention that you need reservations in advance to dine. Even though there were plenty of table available they do not accept walk-Ins or reservations unless they are made well in advance. Not welcome therefore to travelers looking to pull off the road to eat.
