We’ve been here a couple of times and food/service has been consistent. We usually sit in their outdoor sitting area because we bring our dog. As for food, we usually get The Tri Tip Platter or the Caesar Pleaser with the tri tip in medium-rare. Sometimes the meat are a little more cooked when we ask for medium so we stick with medium-rare. We also upgrade the corn bread to the jalapeños corn bread. Extra charge but it taste better than the regular, in our opinion.

Pretty great place to get bbq. It's casual - you order at the front counter. In that kind of place, I expect the prices to be more reasonable. Like everywhere else, however, it's gotten pricey. It used to be a favorite spot for lunch, but now I just don't go often. The food is above average, but count on waiting around 15 minutes to get it.

Lively bbq restaurant with a full bar inside. You order first then can decide where you want to sit. Their corn bread is so good. They have tons of bbq options but at night they sometimes run out. So it’s not super formal but casual with restaurant quality meals and dining. I wanted to get a salad and I asked what the most popular is and they said the Caesar Pleaser is pretty popular. So I got that with tri tip and got it medium rare. It was a pretty big portion so I had leftovers and it was still really juicy heating it up for leftovers. The salad was nice and hearty. Their cuts looks good and their sandwiches and sides too. Drinks are self serve and their bbq sauce was good. My tri tip came with au jus. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and it was busy for a Saturday night upon closing. They have TVs that show sports games. The workers are super Friendly and helpful. Located in a shopping plaza so there’s plenty of parking.

We went for BBQ ribs and they ran out at around 1pm and wouldn't have any ready for 90 minutes. The place wasn't packed, but I guess the Ribs were a hot item today, no pun intended for the 102° temperature.

Their tri-tip was absolutely incredible! It was so good! The sides were a little underwhelming, nothing special, but honestly, the meat was so fantastic that it didn't even matter much. A relaxed, casual to grab some BBQ and drinks, give this place a try. You won't regret the tri-tip!

First time ever at Buckhorn for dinner, and it was great. It was busy during dinner time, but we sat outside in the patio. The ordering was a bit different, but I really liked it this way of ordering. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. We also got drinks at the bar, and the bartender was very kind and provided great service.

Really good sandwiches. I recommend the roadhouse buck, and dip that bad boy in a little ranch or bbq sauce. We went on super bowl Sunday. Every TV in the place was on the super bowl and the volume was cranked up on all of them for the one person watching the game at the bar. I could give or take the game, but it was too loud. We ate fast and left. A 2 minute big pharma ad being pumped at 100 volume from a TV 2 feet over my head on the wall was very excessive.

The place is packed and the food is ok, but nothing spectacular. The meats are ok and you can customize as much as they can. The servers are nice and fast, and the food comes out quickly if you're in a rush.

Stopped in The Buckhorn BBQ +Grill for dinner. Ordered at the counter and got a number that coincides with our table number. Nothing fancy or complicated here. There is a bar area and pleanty of tvs throughout. 3 of us ordered the ceaser pleaser with tri-tip. It was just ok. The steak was cooked to order but tough. Restaurant was clean, well maintained, and the ait staff were friendly.

You needed to order the food first before being seated. No one will serve you. It is all self-serve, including your water. They do have takeout. We decided to dine in. They have a full-service bar. You can order drinks directly from the bar ir from the initial ordering area when you enter. The food was mediocre and service could have been much better by someone coming just to follow up or ask how things were going Even upon entering no one greeted us. We didn't understand that you ordered first. Therefore, we were standing there for a while. Staff saw us but again we ended up asking after about 10-15 minutes (we were waiting for another guest to join us, but after finally asking we ordered before she arrived). It was a strange fast food method along with a dine-in atmosphere.

Atmosphere is comfortable. Food was cold, considering the amount of customers coming and going, the food should have been fairly hot.

10/29/25 @1141am, which is still early and barely anyone in the restaurant, I ordered a side of the Yummy Jake Beans "to go." I waited outside for my order to be called through their pick up window. However, I ended up waiting 10 minutes and rang the bell for staff to see what's taking so long to get a side of beans? Im writing this review bc I left a 12% tip and felt as though they should never have received a tip with having to wait 10 minutes for an order that was already pre-made, it just needed to be scooped, transferred and bagged. Very disappointed in the service. I think food industries have forgotten the background story behind tips.

I’m 70 years old. Been eating BBQ for several of those years. I ordered the two meat plate. Ribs , chicken ,beans and slaw. This meal on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best came up a 2 at best. Portions were large. The ribs were tasty but tougher than boot leather. The bbq chicken was also tough. The beans and slaw I had no complaints. This is definitely not your traditional slow cooked country BBQ. It is more your out the door fast food. So if you’re looking for a fantastic fall off the bone, melt in your mouth bbq to call home about , I’d put Buckhorn in your rear view mirror.

We were genuinely shocked by how bad these ribs were. Completely chewy, tough, and frankly a ripoff for the price. Ribs should not feel like a workout to eat. If the current process can’t deliver tender, properly cooked ribs, then charge more and fix it—because serving something like this is a direct reflection on Buckhorn’s standards. Cutting corners (or rushing the cook) just to hit a price point isn’t worth it when the end result is poor quality. This wasn’t a minor miss; it was a fundamental failure of what ribs are supposed to be. Extremely disappointing, and not what we expected from a place trading on its reputation.
