The brunch here is delicious! The girls at the counter are nice! The chef brought my plate to the table! Last time that happen to me I was in Italy 10y ago. Definitely a nice place.
My sister and I love coming here. Recently they came out with a banana latte and strawberry chai which are my new favorites. They make yummy baked goods, we love the brownie and fruit croissants. Don’t skip on their sandwiches! Our personal favorites are the Hot Philly and California Club. Perfect place to come to catch up or read a book.
I have worked across the street from Pure Grain Bakery for many years and have enjoyed their sandwiches and pastries! Today I treated myself to a sandwich I love the chicken salad with all the fixings. There is always plenty of space to sit. They updated their lights to change color with the music I thought that was cute. The service is always friendly. Loved my sandwich and the bread 😍
Went to dinner here on a Thursday night and ordered the three tacos combo with chicken and shrimp. The ingredients were so fresh with a perfect amount of fresh sauce drizzled over freshly seasoned cabbage with chunks of mango and cilantro. Chicken was moist, not over cooked or super chunky which I prefer and the shrimp was as good. My husband had the schnitzel sandwich and being German he loved it, substituting spaetzle for a side. Btw - staff and service was great and we got to sit outside and listen to live music playing in the courtyard.
Best German food in the area!
Great German food, pastry, sandwiches and coffee. Good ambiance inside and out. Busy at lunchtime. Also some German canned foods for puchase. They are open for business, outdoor eating. Oktoberfest meal of bratwurst and Sauerkraut is available til the end of September.
When ever I get a craving for Lox and bagels, this is the only place I go. Fresh Bagel of your choice (went with onion and cheese today) lots of cream cheese and salmon. Great service and friendly staff
First time at this charming bakery with warm, friendly and professional staff. Great for coffee and breakfast.
Had an excellent lunch here! The cafe was busy on a friday during lunch but not crowded, and the workers seemed to know several customers by name which was nice to see. Most of the customers in front of me purchased whole loaves of bread with their order and I was temtped to do the same. I ended up getting a vanilla caramel latte that was excellent, and I also tried a chocolate covered cake with raspberry filling. The cake was very delicious and the filling was pleasant and added a nice light flavor. The star for me however was the tuna melt, it was a generously sized sandwich made with fresh baked bread and I was surprised by several rather large chunks of apple in the tuna that I was not expecting but it actually added a nice touch. Overall very satisfied and I definitely plan on coming back. It's located right next to the library which is convenient since there were lots of free parking spots available.

The goulash and the schnitzel with mushroom gravy is insanely good I highly recommend
This place is not only adorable to eat at due to the location downtown but also th vibe. It's the best atmosphere to relax and enjoy a bite. The staff Everytime I'm there are sweet and friendly. The food is by far the best. From the amazing pastries to the comfort of their amazing breakfasts. It's the best around. I will admit I eat here probably a little too much, but its so worth it.
My go to spot on a Sunday morning To have a yummy breakfast, and my daughter loves their pastries. I love their cookies and their bagels and they have great iced tea. I love the atmosphere and taking a walk around downtown after. Highly recommend.
One of the best places to go hang out and chill. they make some really good biscuits and gravy and French toast. I think this is like one of the best places to just go hang out and eat.
Great place for breakfast and or s delicious pastry. The staff is so friendly which is what keeps bringing me back! Thank you for the hospitality!
Excellent Master Baker and wife with delicious products from mischbrot and pretzels to delicious cakes and cookies. Very German as this husband and wife team are from Germany!

We picked up this location for our Saturday lunch on our way to the ocean. At around 10-ish in the morning, it was pretty busy and quite loud. The prices are not so high at all and bakery is really great. It’s around $15 for a sandwich and we got them. It was even too big for us so we had only half of the sandwich. Nice place with small town vibe
Tried brunch for the first time. Everything was great. By 1145am they had sold out of Chicken Fried Steak & flour tortillas for burritos. We got - Breakfast Sandwich on cheddar jalepeno bagel. Soft bagel, would order again (and again🤣). Veggie omelet, soft center with house potatoes. House potatoes were delicious. Bear claw was large tasty. Cinnamon roll 👍🏽👍🏽 I enjoyed the baked goods being soft and not dry at all. It happens sometimes. We will include Pure Grain in our brunch rotation list. Thank you!

This place was great! We found ourselves here after putting our name on a waitlist elsewhere and we’re glad we did. We got an eggs benedit and Denver omelet. Both were good but I especially like their house potatoes. Coffee was also good! Came out hot and quick, tased perfect. I’d like to return to try a few pastries as they looked like they’d be noteworthy.
I enjoy both Pure Grain locations. The food is always good. I stopped in for a pastry at the one on Vacavalley Pkwy. The service was pleasant, however, I had seen the person helping me spray and wiping the counter. Without gloves or washing their hands, they proceeded to serve me and opened a bag for my item by putting their entire hand into the bag and wiggling it open. Twice. I’m very disappointed. Who wants a pastry from a bag someone’s stuck their dirty hands in? I don’t believe I’ll be going to that location again. I regret not saying anything in the moment, I was a bit shocked.

We went in on a Thursday at 6 pm while listening to the music in the plaza. We asked for a Rueben and a Club. They said the bread would not be toasted because they turned off the thing to roast the bread. When asked if they could turn it back on they said it would take a long time to heat up. So I asked when they were closing they said 8. As a person whose worked in the service industry I wouldn't have turned off the toaster especially on a night that would be busy. It made myself and friends that went in to order like they were shutting stuff down so they could leave asap. Which in reality is not appropriate especially on a busy night. We had about 5 people behind us waiting to order. We ended up not ordering as much food as we would have. We have came in for desserts the last few weeks and thought we would do the food tonight. I'm not sure we will be back.
This is going to be a harsh review. I only ordered a hot chocolate, a simple hot chocolate. But the key word "Hot" was left out and I got a Luke warm chocolate ontop of that, the lady the made it and took the order was everything but friendly. Which is why I didnt take it back. Honestly, if she couldn't make it right the first time, I'm not giving her another chance.

If you’re disabled in any way, the owner/workers will treat you differently and give you uncomfortable looks. I’m hard of hearing and since it’s a loud place I had to ask the workers to repeat themselves and they acted annoyed. Like the other reviewer said, I also heard gossip about other co-workers current and past from behind the counter and it was really unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. I could hear their gossip due to them being loud about it. The food takes too long to come out because they’re just standing around talking mostly. I’ve even heard people behind the counter yelling at each other. The food is also expensive and a rip-off for what you get. It would make more sense if it wasn’t $12 for a sandwich or $4+ for a pastry.
