I grew up in Columbia County and this has always been one of my favorites. Incredible pizza (even though it's not New York style) and great Greek/Italian classics, all at a reasonable price.

This place has what i consider to be the most consistent pizza quality. Never over or under cooked and their staff is always friendly and funny

First time at Four Brothers..always ate across the intersection at La Bellas. A friend took us to eat lunch after a leisurely day of shopping..wonderful food..shared an anti pasta and I had a sausage and pepper grinder..I will recommend this place.

This restaurant was very clean and well organized, the staff were very friendly and courteous, and the large pizza that we ordered was perfect 👌. We will be stopping here frequently in the future!

Their pizza is always good, but that's not all they serve. Their pasta dishes are also tops. And if you have kids, they are also well served. Glad they are in my town!

Plenty parking and dining area can easily seat 2 to 10 customers. They also have a nice bar area separate from the dining area. Very friendly and accommodating wait staff. Great menu choices for vegetarian and meat lovers. Their pizza is a favourite of ours with a tossed salad. Their desserts are phenomenal as well. We would and will return to this restaurant!

We have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. The food quality, friendly, and fast service have not changed since I was a kid. It is a really good restaurant run by a great family. You will have to try hard to be disappointed. Salads, pizza, and the house dressing is the best. We had the veggie pizza last night. Fantastic!!! Loaded with tons of good veggies. Pizza hold up well even with all of the toppings. One of our favorite places to eat as a family.

Eaten here often when in Valatie. Nice big room with a cozy bar off to the side. Good soups and wonderful pizza. Nice seating for larger groups or little parties without being too loud. You'll have a good time here. A few tasty Greek specialties makes me think the owners are Greek since they are so good. The bar is wonderfully uninhibited with some regulars that are great entertainment.

On our most recent visit, we were made aware that this place has been here for 40 years, so I guess they're doing something right. On this visit, I noticed that the menu seems to be scaled back a little, but the food is still as good as it ever was. The Greek salads are still generous and the pizza is still great.

We stumbled across this restaurant, while visiting the farms in kinderhook..we took medium pizza and it was sufficient for us..the pizza dough was fresh, and edges were crusty..the sauce and cheese blended well with the dough and toppings! The pizza base was very light, definitely worth a try if one is in this area.. The service was quick and we didn't had to wait very long for our food, as we were starving :)

Love their pizza! When I'm looking for a unique pizza from any other this is where we go. The crust is s nice deep dish and crispy and the cheese is incredible! Also, you have to try the in-house made Greek Dressing for dipping! It's phenomenal!

Four Brothers is a staple in the Columbia county area. I've eaten here for years. I think it's about time to review this great Italian/American with a Grecian touch, gem of a family restaurant. The Pizza is unique and wonderful. The crust is light, crispy and always cooked to perfection. The sauce is perfectly spiced, balanced and quite tasty. The sandwiches, hot and cold are excellent. The dinner selections are tasty and consistent. Consistency is the mark of a great restaurant and this place is spot on. The Greek dishes on the menu are excellent. I recommend the Chicken Gyro Deluxe...wicked good. The salads and house dressing is outstanding! The service is good and the staff is always friendly. The combination these folks have going on, in this restaurant is on the money. The prices are reasonable as well. I've never left here unhappy. The owner always makes sure, if there is a problem, which is very rare...it gets fixed one way or another. I'm so glad this place is here in town and reasonably close to me. I highly recommend it.

Service is very quick and very friendly staff. I remember one time not that long ago stopped in to pick up a pizza. On the way out the door an elderly lady accidentally walked into me and the pizza fell to the floor. Not only did the staff tend to the mess immediately but within 15 minutes they made another pizza free of charge and delivered it to me in my car.

Delicious food. I got the chicken and eggplant parm. My dining companions got the chicken casserole which I sampled and was very good. The Four Brothers Wrap is also delicious as I have had that when dining previously. Meal comes with homemade bread. Their salad dressing is also really good.

The pizza here is masterful. Quality ingredients, well done and a variety of options. I've always had good experiences with the service as well at any Four Brothers I've been to, and my last visit here was no exception.

Always a great meal and a family favorite. Always enjoy a meal when visiting from Michigan, my brother always buys a bottle of salad dressing and my sister buys their oil.

The Brothers Pizza and Greek Salad never disappoints. The service was was excellent with very little wait time. Safe guidelines were adhered to and it was an enjoyable experience. We have been there many times and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm from Western Mass and visited this pizzeria for the first time today. The owner and staff were friendly and I was really impressed by the quality of the food. The pizza here was the best that I've eaten in years !!

I was searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was great, in large portions, and the pizza is something that I have not stopped thinking about. The waitress was incredibly friendly too and it added to the loving ambiance that comes the feeling of a family owned restaurant. It’s nice to see that a family business has been open for as long as it has! The salad’s were fresh, and thankfully they sell the dressing by the bottle because I kept wanting more. The decor could use some updating. The Grecian painting on the walls looks like it’s been there since the 80’s.

Nice waitress. Good food. A couple of gluten free options. I'm also vegan and had to ask if there was cheese in the marinara sauce. Waitress had no problem finding out for me. For anyone else gluten free and vegan, the gluten free pasta with marinara sauce is a safe bet. They did say pizza sauce has cheese in it.

Best pizza, chicken and gyros. The food here is great. Always stop in when I travel thru the area. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved everything. The greek salad and margarita pizza were amazing. I loved the nice crispy crust. The meatball grinder was delicious and the bread was so fresh! Definitely worth a stop.

We had a wonderful meal today at Four Brothers Pizza Restaurant in Great Barrington. The house red (a Cabernet) was delicious — a generous pour and great flavor. We started with the Greek Salad and French fries, which arrived just as requested. The salad was outstanding: crisp cucumbers, kalamata olives, and a perfectly balanced dressing. The medium pizza — half cheese, half pepperoni — was excellent. The crust was amazing and the cheese was especially delicious. The service was also exceptional. I can’t recall our server’s name, but she checked on us throughout the meal and made sure we had everything we needed. She packed up our leftovers for us with such care. Great. My family have dined here over the years, although we haven’t been here in a while. We went here last night though and it was great as usual. Good parking space. Good for kids. Plenty of space so it’s not cramped. They do have a bathroom, from what I remember it is clean. It used to be a lot busier, it has seemed to quiet down. But that might just be yesterday.

We descended on Four Brothers in Valatie for our Matriarchs 95th birthday! The restaurant was quiet for around lunchtime and there was plenty of space for them to accommodate us. The menu is varied with lots to choose from. Not too much so it's all over the place but pasta lots of different ways and pizza too. I had Spaghetti Carbonara which was more like an Alfredo. It came with a boneless skinless chicken breast. You could taste the spices but not overwhelming. Family got pasta, pizza, hot subs and large salads. Our waitstaff were wonderful! Attentive and accommodating and keeping track of 10+ people. The portions are large and the food fresh. They even provided forks and plates for a little birthday cake!

We went for pick your own in Samascott orchards. While returning we stopped for lunch at Four Brothers pizza & Restaurant. Food is really tasty there and staffs are friendly. Dishes came quickly, we didn’t have to wait that long. Must try once.

We had our Stock Club Christmas get-together, and the waitress seated us at a perfect location away from the main crowd. She was friendly and efficient. The coconut shrimp was delicious and the salads were huge! Reasonable prices, too!

Terrific staff! Very clean restaurant. Pizza, antipasto, pasta, hot dishes, daily specials. Good for groups, large dining room. Reasonable prices. Take out available. Nice bar with great barmaids, seperate from the restaurant.

Good food. It's been in business for a very long time. I've been going here most of my life. I only wish they had free soda refills. You are better off getting a pitcher of soda than a glass.

They bill themselves as Italian with a Greek influence - I'll agree with that. Staff is very friendly and the place is nice.

We have always enjoyed the Greek salad and pizza at Four Brothers; however, the last time we ate there, the pizza was cooked to perfection! There was just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and the crust was not overcooked.

The food was very fresh and tastes fabulous. The service however was a little slow. I will say it was a busy Friday night but for a table of 2 to receive our food after 3 others who had come in after us and then to take 20 minutes to get our check after the completion of the meal was a little long. The salad was huge, but unless you like Greek dressing or Blue cheese don't order it, because that is all they offer. The marinara was spot on and definitely home made. The slow service is really the only reason for the 4 rating. The food was a definate 5.

Decent pizza in the middle of nowhere. Large, no-frills dining room reminiscent of a 1980s ski lodge. Also - what makes this place an “inn”, exactly? Do they offer overnight accommodations?

After years of hearing about this place, I finally went with another Chef to give it a go. Before I get into the food I'm not rating this place on atmosphere. It's one big mess hall. Although the other side has separate entrance to a bar that looks homey and well stocked. To the food. We order a medium 8 cut with sausage, meatballs and Bermuda onions ( I'm an old school Chef). It came to the table picture perfect. It's not your typical dough for pizza. It's more of an evolution of bread dough that has been honed into a beautiful marriage. Crunchy, airy, some sweetness and a good chew. The sauce paired well with the crust and cheese. On to the sausage which was flavoful and not greasy. The meatballs were the spoon drop type, not sliced or halfed, but well seasoned. Personally I prefer sliced or half meatballs on my pizza. Overall it was above average. So, what would I change. Only one thing. MORE TOPPINGS. As I mentioned I'm a Chef so I know margins, a little more goes a long way to bring back and add to your customer base. Last, and certainly not least, our waitress handled a good amount of tables and servicing the to go's like it was nobody's business. Bravo. I will speak for my friend the Chef and myself. SOLID PIZZA. We, and I, will be back. 💯👨‍🍳

Very good local restaurant located in Valatie. The service was really good. Very nice server. We ordered the Four Brothers Famous Greek Salad, which comes with the homemade Greek salad dressing on the side. Ordered the 12 piece chicken wings. Eggplant parmesan Hot Over Grinder with pickle on the side. The eggplant was nice and thin, and the sauce was just enough. Also ordered the large pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was good and hot right out of oven. Was not busy when we arrived, but was getting more busy around 6 pm. We had made a reservation.

Large, clean restaurant with a nice staff. Been here several times over a number of years and it's always the same. The pizza is really good. I haven't tried anything else, but others in my party have and they LOVE the greek salad in particular. If you are in the area this is a solid place to eat, you won't be disappointed.

A nice stop with friendly service. We had heard from a family member of a salad pizza they offered, but found out they discontinued it. When we asked the waitress if the kitchen could make it for us, she went to ask, and thankfully they said they could. It's a simple pizza made with their original crust and laying a Greek salad on top, and their homestyle Balsamic Vinegarette. A great vegan option.

Good value for food, and venue attractive — especially with yuletide decorations. Adequate parking in wrap-around lot. About seven beers on tap, served cold in chilled glass (nice touch!). Waitress friendly but the short-sleeve uniform reveals distracting tattoos. The back-house is also distracting with very audible yelling in the kitchen (as if watching some football match). No wi-fi!

I had high hopes for this place. It looks nice and is not cheap! But I have to say, I wasn't impressed by the food at all. The salad was good tho.

I frequently visit several other four brothers locations and was expecting the same food from the location in Valatie. Instead I got this mediocre salad with shredded (?!) cheese on it. This is not the famous four brothers Greek salad, sorry.

Pizza is good. I don't know about the pasta. I tried ordering the carbonara and asked for "al dente." The response I got was, "They don't do al dente here." If you just strain the pasta 60 seconds sooner...pretty low standards if you ask me and such a reasonable request. And how, as a waitress, is your response, "Not possible." The place is also in desperate need of refurbishing. Carpet smells musty

Bleh.... again typical diner food.... certain things are listed as fresh or homemade and it doesn't take a trained eye to see that it's not.... The Gyros weren't actually gyros.... they were cubed, marinated, pre grilled, chicken breast on a pita....the tzatziki was missing so basically it was a grilled chicken sub.... the menu says the dish comes with Cole slaw, which turned out to be 2oz of potato salad. That's fine, I like potato salad but for the menu price a 2oz cup didn't exactly impress me. The steak fries were crispy, golden, and good but again... came from a bag. The interior of the establishment was nice, quiet, the waitstaff was friendly but there was just nothing that stood out, very average. 3 stars is my average but I gave 2 stars because they couldn't even follow their own menu.

I have come here a number of times, and every time I am more disappointed. My family loves it here, but i find all the food bland. The Pasta is hard to eat, because there is no flavor. The lasagna portion is way to small too. It might be enough for a 6 year old. The only reason that it gets two stars, is the salad. The ham and cheese rolls are good, and all the fruits and vegetables are fresh. It also loses stars because of how slow the service is. Even if it is empty, it will take 10 minites to get drinks. I would not recomend.

I gave it two stars because it had air conditioning and it was hot outside. The lack of enthusiasim by the staff to seat you, much less take your order was accute. We waited to be seated (with no one else in line) for close to ten minutes. We waited for a waitress/waiter for another fifteen minutes when we saw a couple who had arrived at least ten minutes after we had, have their order taken. That's when we left. I would go to the McDonalds across the street before I'd go there again.

Don't understand why these places are so popular. Pizza sucks, imho; crust is too thick, too dense bread..not really pizza crust at all; toppings are food industry cafeteria stock; sauce is unremarkable. My 93 year old dad loves it though. Other menu items are stock fair.

Four Brothers is getting very expensive while their portions are getting smaller and smaller. There's also no consistency between the different restaurant locations. (Millerton, Rhinebeck, Amenia and Hillsdale.) The pizza in Millerton especially is not cooked thoroughly. Last few times we ate there the crust was gooey. The quality of food is definitely not worth what they're charging. Don't think we'll be going there anymore. You're prices reflect greed and your restaurants are definitely not consistent. A plate of pasta that we ordered and paid $24.95 for was disgusting. It was drowned in oil. The 6 shrimp were tiny and overcooked and there was barely any spinach. That dish is not worth more than $12.00. Of course you're going to come to the defense of this review but let me just say we are not the only people saying your quality of food is slipping and your prices are expensive. We don't mind paying a little a little extra for a good sized portion but $24.95 for 6 small, over cooked shrimp is absurd. If you're going to charge high prices for pasta dishes make it worth the money. That dish we bought was certainly overpriced and the quality was terrible. Sorry if this review offends you but it's the truth and I will continue to be honest in my reviews.

Not much more to say than...EH. For the coat of a dinner you don't get a salad. Bread was just ok. Chicken Alla vodka had 4 pieces of chicken and was very bland. Also got a small pizza which had little to no taste. Service was good no issues. Not a place I would go back to or recommend.

Sucks. Calamari was nasty. Only had rings...waitress wasn't even apologetic. The cashier was. I told them it's really management's as well as the cooks fault. Not my first rodeo with food. The rings were as though they were cooked in warm oil. When you bit in them it was like biting into an oily sponge. NASTY!!!! Will NOT GO BACK. There is however a nice restaurant across the street. In Hannaford plaza...called "LaBella". Didn't have their calamari (maybe) next time. But I had a cool salad with shrimp. It had nice romaine, broccoli, asparagus and some other stuff I can't remember with a nice dressing on the side. Definitely going back.

Was eating here with my family tonight Jan 22 2022 and there was cockroaches crawling around me while dinning! We told the waitress and she kinda implied it was a regular thing! Disgusting! Saw 9 months ago, another customer had the same problem, and they tried blaming it on coming from outside! THIS IS SO DISGUSTING!

Well poured out my (recycled) salad dressing and out came a large bug. It was packed so i quietly showed the waitress and she said "oh nice you still want the salad" really ?? We decided to stay and waited for a manager to come apologize or something..got nothing...finished eating got bill no discount ..even still charged for our ice tea...so i paid bill and yhen loud enough said tell your boss thank you for the free bug in my salad dressing...

Never going back...we ordered the fish n chips...had to peel the skin off of the fish!! Fish was wayyyyyyyyy overcooked. We told the waitress, and she seemed like we were bothering her. We left our food on the plates, and told her how bad it was, and her reply was " I don't buy the food, and I don't cook the food, I just serve it." My mom tried to tell her how bad it was, and she told us, outloud, to not get rude with her!!!!! What nerve....that got her a $1.00 tip....and that was .99 cents too much...wish I could give them *no stars*.

My husband and I stopped there for lunch, had not been there in years. I can sincerely say I totally regret eating there. I would rather leave no review than leave a bad review, but you earned this one. We ordered Garlic Bread for an Appetizer. It says on "Menu" with " Marinara sauce", when served it did not accompany the bread. We asked the server, and the response was, I think its extra, I said no that's not what the menu states. So, about 10 minutes later the sauce came over, cold, by then the bread was as well. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the dressing tasted spoiled(strong vinegar taste); I advised server; he said he would inform the kitchen. My appetite at that point was ruined. My husband had Rigotoni with 2 meatballs. The meatballs tasted like pressed frozen meatballs. The salad had 3 bites taken out of it; I thought maybe my taste buds were off, nope they were not. My husband said he has never tasted anything like that. All of this and 2 soft drinks a few cents short of $48.00. Was not worth it at all. When I went to cash out, I asked the young man if they checked if the dressing was spoiled he responded, no. I said are you sure it was the Caesar Salad Dressing? He promptly said yes. So basically I left the $13. Something dollar salad on the table it was so good right? If I could give you a Zero I would, you deserve nothing more.

Took my kids there. They ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered chicken parm. My wife ordered a shrimp and linguine dish. The meatballs and spaghetti had just canned tomato sauce on the meatballs. Nothing on the spaghetti. The chicken parm was pre-breaded nasty chicken with nothing on the spaghetti. My wife shrimp was four piece of shrimp on top of plain spaghetti with nothing. The bill for what we got was outrageous. The service was trashy like trailer park trashy and I will never go there again

I order two meatball grinder, $12 something a piece. I would be better off eaten a piece of cardboard. Dried out two slices of meatballs. A piece I don’t know what cheese and a table spoon of sauce. If I want this type of food I could have cooked myself.

Today is Monday September 1st 2025. I write this review with such a heavy heart and great disappointment. I have been to four brothers in valatie many times with my sons! We have always received Superior service! Our usual is we order a five topping pizza and a large ever so delicious Greek salad I'm always ranting and raving and sending people there exclamation points but after tonight the way we were treated by a waitress when we were greeted she handed me the menus and said pick a spot to sit down I have a special guest with me that I wanted her to experience the wonderful food here we did ask for for water with lemon wedges and we were going to proceed to order. This waitress complained that they were very short and people were calling in and she just didn't have a lot of time to be waiting on people! So we remained cordial and empathetic to the situation. She put our waters on the counter and my son went up to collect the waters and put them on the table just to help her out so we were getting ready to order and we asked for separate checks and the waitress came back very sharply and said we don't do separate checks! We have a sign up near the cash register! I've never heard of such a thing not being able to do separate checks. So this waitress continued with her attitude I got up and I said thank you very much and I got up and I instructed everybody in my dinner party to leave! It's really too bad, this was my favorite place I would drive over from Pittsfield Massachusetts just to get their pizza and salad. I guess I never will be returning there again 💔😔

The food was okay! But the service was not, the waitress was not attentive, she mostly avoided our table. The cashier yelled and screamed at my boyfriend because she miscounted the cash. Overall, it is a nice feel family environment but to the family of their choice. We did not feel welcome and they made sure we were aware.
