This place is delicious! They have lunch specials every day of the week, and they have deep friend bananas that are just so yummy 🥰🥰🥰 this will be my 3rd visit there. I just hadn't gotten the chance to write a yummy review in awhile
I love your food, but it is very sad that you guys have stopped delivering unfortunately we do not order from you anymore because Going through a third-party is way more expensive and with no delivery I know you have lost a lot of business out towards us. Please start delivering again, and I can assure you your business will come back!!
After 20 years of going here, I finally introduced myself to my new Cousin A - telling her I remember back when she was waiting tables with a bump in her belly! That "bump" now works there with her, and she's as lovely as her Mom! Food is always fresh, love the Wanton Soup! Went in the other night with My Mom and we loved everything. Could only eat 1/2 of what we ordered, and brought home the rest. Mom is craving a return visit soon. Thank you Cousin A for everything!
The food was amazing and they give you soooo much fie the price I'm definitely coming back here.
Early today around 11 in the morning, I stopped by to grab a quick lunch. Their lunch combo contains numerous options, and are prices starting at $7.98. The service is commendable; the waitress immediately apologized for a flat soda as they had just replaced the CO2 tank and promptly brought me a new soda. This place does pay attention to detail, and I am quite impressed for this hole in the wall. I definitely will try this place again.
Food is great. Enjoyed everything I ordered. Fast and convenient when you don't want to cook. I have many more dishes to try.
This place makes you feel like your eating at home!!!! The table next to us had to get their own plates and utensils :D (under staffed is understandable) Besides the service (that only slows down AFTER you order and get your food and drinks) food was good, portions are good, prices are reasonable. Still giving them 5 stars for the friendliness and promptness to deliver food.
Was told about this place from a local, and she did not lie. The food was delicious and cheaper than fast food. When back in town coming for dinner and dining in, she said that there is an amazing soup that they serve with dinner.
This restaurants food is very excellent. The staff is very respectful and cheerful. I've went here for pickup and it's been on point so far. Can't say it's authentic as I'm no culinary expert, I just love good food for the soul.
We love Moon Wok! They have great lunch deals, if you dine in for lunch you get soup & salad. They have all sorts of food options for a variety of palates. My wife had "Budda's Delight" which is mixed vegetables stir-fried with tofu in garlic sauce. She really liked the that the vegetables were cooked to the point that they had just a little crunch to the outside and were very hot and moist on the inside. The garlic sauce was a killer idea. I had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp and it was really good. We also ordered a side of the cheese wontons, perfectly cooked and filled with cream cheese and a little crab meat. We've tried other dishes here and haven't had a bad one yet. Good food at reasonable prices!
Lunch specials are an amazing value. Best Mongolian beef in the scv. Sesame chicken was also very good. Egg drop soup was ok.
The food was super delicious we were out there for a soccer tournament and this place was our first time trying definitely going to go back when we’re around there. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing shout out to AAA for giving us great service. We had our soccer boys with us and it was definitely a kid friendly place.
I have dined here several times and I am glad I found them. I am used to eating great tasting Chinese Cuisine and this was for sure that. Not to mention the customer service was excellent, my experiences have been great and they have a long time customer in me. My Go Tos so far are the Salt and Pepper Wings , Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice
If you're looking for oriental food that leaves the grease behind attacks your taste buds with the goodness that you wonder how you never came across such a place until this read, say to yourself this is a must try of a dine either in, pickup or delivery. We've been ordering for years from moonwok and to our surprise, the food has just gotten even better and has yet to be beat. The best part is they will make it to your liking and the servings are that for a family. Aye, the owner and her staff, will do all she/they can do to be sure that you and your family have the eating experience that will make yours and the family's taste buds look forward to your next return soon. Thank you Aye and look forward to our next dining experience. Bob & Sandy P. S. On top of all, your take out food is served in reusable containers that one would likely want you keep to reuse as we have always have. We hope you enjoy as we have.
The wonton soup was perfectly made. The bbq pork fried rice reminded of the first time I had the dish. Brought back good memories from childhood. The broccoli beef and sauteed spinach were both perfectly made. All the flavors are Amazing.
It’s a very nice little to eat. I thought the service was very nice and friendly. The food tasty and not overly seasoned. I tried Kung Pao Beef and Chicken Chow Mein. There are a lot of choices to choose from the menu. Bathrooms were decent aside from some of the makeshift fixings that were done. Carpet can use some cleaning just to give a clean atmosphere. Other that, this place great. 👍🏻
Delicious typical Chinese food. The menu was broad and the portions were generous (splitting one main between two people is not unrealistic). The place was fresh and well-lit, and the service was really fast as well.
We are from Bakersfield. Took a drive to find a Chinese Restaurant with good food! We found one! They even sell Steamed Pork Buns - Manapua for us Hawaiians. Their food so good..Fresh....cook to order.. The service was great. The Hostess named A, she was extremely nice and made us feel right at home! A new restaurant added to.our return again list. We order items to take home: 1. Pork Buns 2. Sweet n Sour Chicken 3. Lo Mein - type of Chow Mein 4. Sauteed Black Mushrooms & Bokchoy All so fresh and tasty! If you go south stop by place an order. Plz tell A, I send my regards!
So very yummy and Hubby and I so enjoyed their hospitality and fresh cooked dishes❤️We have been looking for a place like this for many years .. the food is so delicious and plenty to take home for another meal😘😘Can’t wait to go back❤️❤️

I've been eating here since I was a kid there pan fried noodles are tasty, and meats are well seasoned but sometimes they do mess up our orders and there are flies but still a great place for dinner 🍽 👍
The orange beef is fantastic & has a good spice to it. The pork fried rice is also fantastic. The portions are huge. The service is quick and friendly. I’ve been going here a lot of years no shrink inflation here. A+.
Christmas day 2025! Super busy and long wait however, the food was delicious and they were on top of fulfilling everyone’s orders and also taking dining in groups! Delicious, excellent price and great customer service!
I feel like people are just review bombing this place and its just sad.. I just saw a dude giving Moon Wok 1 star for not being a buffet, isn't that Google's fault or just a malfunction? Besides all of that I really like they're pan fried noodles and has been a childhood restaurant since day 1.

Good food. Bathroom could be better. I expected more tasty but it was good. Walnut shrimp, and Black bean sauce fish were excellent. They agreed to our request and did not add water chestnuts to any if our orders. That is good service.
Traditional Chinese food. Lunch/dinner specials are great value. Good flavors, not quite as good as Chinatown or Alhambra are but better than anything else in Santa Clarita.
I have been going to this restaurant for the Lunch Special Menu for many years. It is great value & you get plenty. There is a great variety in the lunch menu choices too, along with the à la carte menu. I will continue to go to the restaurant as I always have, but I must say that it has gone downhill a bit recently. They need to get back to the way they were. Weekdays & Saturday they are supposed to open at 11:00 hours. Twice now I have gotten there after 11 & it has still been shut with no staff at all present. The staff then turning up sometime later. The Hot & Sour Soup is then not ready for ages after they actually do open. On my most recent visit, I didn’t end up getting my Hot & Sour Soup starter until just before 12:00 hours, which a is a LOT later. That is pretty poor really & guests were starting to look a bit frustrated too! By the time I then had my main meal after the soup, which had been prepared quite a while before, it was getting cold. They initially tried to serve me the main meal before the soup, but I said I wanted my starter first. The spring roll was by then fully cold. I don’t really complain because it is such good value & the food used to be awesome, but it used to be a much better arrangement for the on time service previously. That side of things is pretty poor at present & they definitely need to improve upon it! They also need to get back to the really high standard of tasty meals they used to serve up.
As my 1st time here, I would 100% reccomend Moon Wok. They offer a whole spectrum of dishes, savory, sweet, spice, vegetarian, seafood, and of course pork, chicken and beef. During my visit i noticed that the pathway to the restroom is narrow, it should be a bit wider. I got more than enough food for an amazing price and it was delicious 👍
Delicious food. The fried rice was one of the best I've had so far. My family really loved all of the food and the portions are really big. Definitely found my spot for Chinese food.
Very yummy Chinese dishes. We had crispy beef, green bean and chicken, spareribs, and combo rice. Everything was delicious. I deducted 1 star for blonde waitress slowness and careless attitude, and heavy use of sauces on main course.

Food was good. Unfortunately, service was lacking. *They did not appear to have a shortage of staff. The staff were stepping on each other. They were overwhelmed with take out orders and completely disorganized. A 40-minute wait time turned into a 95-minute wait. The wait shows they have good food but be warned they have long wait times. Also witnessed a worker arguing with a customer, which I don't believe should ever happen if you want to keep customers coming back. I've ordered here several times before but might go somewhere else in the future where customers are more valued. Witnessing that just left a bad taste for me.
The food was good. Had a dead fly on my menu and they just brushed it off and gave it back to me. The air wasn't on and it was so hot. They only had on fan going.
The food here at Moon Wok was serviceable, okay, with plenty of options for us vegetarians...but nothing really wowed us in terms of flavor or presentation. We had Tofu in Brown Sauce, which was fine, and Fried Rice which also was fine but didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it. It was our first time trying this place. There are lots of basic Chinese food spots in the Santa Clarita Valley. We've tried and enjoyed more some of the others. This one was just okay and wouldn't be our top choice to head back to or order from.

A staple in Santa Clarita, Moon Wok has been our go to place, but maybe not anymore. The lunch specials are a good deal but the recipes have changed (not to our liking )and the atmosphere shows no pride of ownership, dusty and rough around the edges.

We had high hopes for Moon Wok since it was suggested by a friend. We arrived after the lunch rush which maybe contributed to our less than savory lunch of dry rice, a salad that was browning on the edges and an egg roll that literally dripped grease. The entrees were cooked fresh and that is all we could bring ourselves to eat. What was fresh was pretty good and the service was okay. We caught them when the whole staff was sitting down for their own lunch - which looked way better than ours by the way. Overall, it was worth a try. The staff is Chinese so the food should be authentic at least.
Yikes, went for lunch today. What happened to Moon Wok?? So sad. The fried rice?? White rice drenched in soy sauce... the orange chicken was red chicken and stale.
I eaten at this restaurant over the years the food and service was very good. Now new owners it is not the same.,food just so-so the bathroom not very clean. Will not be going back. Sorry to say

This would be zero stars if it were an option. I try to avoid writing negative reviews, however this one is warranted. We had been patrons of Moon Wok for several years, but due to a decline in their food quality and an increase in prices, we found better options. Against my better judgment, I stopped to pick up dinner for my elderly mother and my kids. My mother and I placed two separate orders. I was disappointed to find out when I got home, that my two identical entrees were wrong. I ordered chicken and received shrimp. I called the restaurant to explain the situation and was treated so rudely, as if I was the one who made the error. She admitted that her cooks got the order wrong and was upset that I was calling to get what I ordered. I asked her several times what she was willing to do to compensate my inconvenience, offer free delivery, a refund, or discount, and she hung up on me. I spent $50! I drove 20 minutes back to the restaurant to pick up my order only to be greeted by a hostile employee. Since there were no name tags, she was heavy set, unpolished and confrontational. I asked her why she was acting so aggressively towards me. I had just walked through the door. She was discourteous, ill-mannered, and unapologetic. I asked for a manager, and she said there was no such person. Interesting. Although untrue, that is their issue. At any rate, another reviewer said it best, the food was like eating breaded jerky. My jaw hurt from trying to chew it. I finally gave it to my dogs. Prices are outrageous for the quality and customer service is nonexistent. You would be better off eating at Grand Panda. The food is great, the portions are huge, and the customer service is wonderful. Panda Express is even better quality. As for this woman, based on her unrefined manner, their seems to be a lack of education, which will lead her to a bright future of customer service-related jobs. She should adjust her attitude and learn some manners.
03/10/21. Ordered sweet and sour chicken, orange beef and vegetable lo mein at 4:50 PM for take out. Picked it up at 5:15. Food was so overcooked I consider it inedible. All I can say is that they must have given us the lunch special 5 hours after it was cooked. I liked the flavors of the sauces but it was like eating beef and chicken jerky. I think if it was fresh or not so overcooked we would have given a good review. I don’t write reviews but this was unacceptable to be served. If we we’re served this in the restaurant it would have been sent back after one bite.
If I could give it zero stars I would! I ordered the chicken egg foo young, chicken fried rice, and broccoli beef. Egg foo young was cut up and hard. The gravy to go with it was tasteless and the fried rice was mediocre at best. And on top of that the prices were outrageous! Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Not worth it at all!!! Yuck!
The food quality has changed significantly for the worse. The chicken used for the lemon chicken was so rubbery that it was inedible. The beef was also very low quality and chewy. The food lacked flavor, and all of the dishes pretty much tasted the same. This is twice in about 6 months that I have had bad food here. The first time I thought maybe they just had an off night, but now I am done wasting money here. Panda Express has MUCH better quality and tasting food than Moon Wok, and it's cheaper. Save your money!
The food is ok. It’s not great, and it’s not bad. The chicken salad is decent. The problem with Moon Wok is they are extremely dirty and very unsanitary. First, our first impression were the plates. We were given plates that had old stuck food all over them. We told the waitress and she brought us two more plates. Those too had old food all over the bottom. So disgusting. Next, we ordered hot tea. We love good hot tea at Chinese restaurants. The waitress brought us a cup , not a pot of real Chinese tea, with a Lipton bag of tea in it that was so disgusting it was careless, reckless, and so unsanitary. The cup was all chipped on the rim where you would drink from. I’m talking razor sharp cut your lips broken chips all over the rim of the cup. It was a black cup, and the entire rim was all white chips.anyone from 20 feet away could easily see how damaged and broken this cup was. For the waitress to not care and try to serve us that clearly showed us how cheap, how careless and unsanitary they are. We sent it back after showing her. She didn’t care. No apology just rude. Even the fork was old and barely clean. You are given one napkin and one fork. No spoon. No knife. No extra napkins. No water refills. Nothing. Really cheap place. If you were to tell me they take the leftovers off the plates and add them to the next order, I would not be surprised. You just get that type of feeling here. The white rice comes in an old kind of wooden bowl. It was apparent that they just leave whatever rice the previous customer didn’t eat in the bowl, add some more white rice on top, and serve it to the next customer. Oh my goodness this is disgusting. Really really cheap and unsanitary way to run a business. We ordered the string bean chicken and it looks amazing. In fact all the dishes we saw looked amazing. The problem is that they have very little taste. They are pretty tasteless The chicken salad looked and tasted of. Again,, not amazing, but not bad either. There was only one waitress who does everything from wipe tables to serve food. Yes, with the same hands. She just wipes off the food onto the floor and then carry all the plates to the back, grabs the next dishes and serves them. Pretty unsanitary. I can only imagine how unsanitary the kitchen and the food they serve is. Bottom line. We will not be going back.
Not even a one star! Saw a good review..decided to try it. My soup came about 15 min later then my husbands. Other tables that came in way after us got all their food first. My food came about 20 min later then my husbands...I had to ask for it. By the time I got my main dish, my Husband was done eating. The soup had NO flavor.my main dish was really dry and way over cooked. The waitress didn't seem too bothered about not bringing my dish way late. Mom Can Cook is now our for sure go to. Don't waste your money or time here. I have left reviews about this horrible place on Google, Yelp, Facebook and our local food forum, so hopefully I cost them $ 36 dollars of business.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Ordered the curry chicken and to our surprise it has peanuts. Would not recommend if anyone has a peanut allergy. It is not stated in the menu and would advise that to change. Overall, great place but did not appreciate the surprise of peanuts with anyone who has a peanut allergy.
The sesame chicken was sooooo hard!!! Where's the meat. Flavor was awful. Rice was cold. Not a friendly atmosphere. I should have known when I saw only one family there.i felt they were a lil rude.
I came here Saturday May 29th 2021 around 3:30 pm. I did not catch the lady's name. All I remember is she was wearing a long sleeve purple shirt. I believe she is a relative of the family owns this restaurant. This lady( to be polite and not call her by a different name ) was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. She asked how many. We were a total of 5. She looked back and rudely said you have to wait. Mind you this place is small, but there was only 3 other families at the time. Not that busy, everyone seemed very relaxed not in a rushed manner. We are wait patiently despite the rude attitude from this lady. The cook asked if we were picking up or dine in. I said the lady in purple said we have to wait to dine in. She then proceeds to say you can go sit in the corner. Then takes forever to take our order for drinks, and the whole time this lady is being rude for no reason. She then comes back with our drinks and rudely takes away the lunch menus..I had a huge problem with this because we were there before 4. She chose to attend to us after 4 which was not our problem. THIS PART REALKY TRIGGERED AND UPSET ME. WE ORDER AND WE HAD FORGET TO ADD ONE ITEM AND RUDELY SAYS YOU CLEARLY DON'T KNOW WHAT GUYS WANT AND. I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE TO ATTEND TO. NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE IN A HURRY BUT HERSELF. SUCH RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Do not use ordering apps as they do not guarantee delivery, per person answering the phone they are just responsible for making the food not delivery but mark all their deliveries as pick up and use a third party delivery method
Food was sub par on flavor and quality. Mongolian Beef wqs flavorless, meat was all grissle and fat. Ordered Chicken Fried rice it was loaded with shrimp (It was house rice) guess they cant tell the difference. Everything was pretty disgusting. Dont eat here.
Nasty! Ordered orange chicken (ridiculously sweet. It was bright red not even orange so you know it's artificial). Got the Mongolian beef (way too soggy, lack of any flavor). Chow mein (not your traditional chow mein, it was super thin, tasted like soy sauce and oil). Lastly, their appetizers (egg roll, friend shrimp, some chicken wrapped in foil, and wonton). All super oily. Disgusting. I've been to hundreds of Chinese restaurants and this is the worst tasting. We'll 2nd worst, actually. Restaurant look nice no complaints on that, easy parking. Was seated quickly, comfy booth, Food came out super fast. Waitress was seen when ordering and when she brought the food, thats it. Never came by again. Also, I ordered both fried rice and steamed rice. The steamed was good and tasty; the fried was literally cold and nasty! I'm telling you, I've never struck out so bad in a Chinese restaurant. Even the freaking fortune cookies were given to us broken! I mean come on!!! Stay away trust me.

Moon Woks Chinese Restaurant is consistently excellent. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. The curry beef is especially fantastic—rich, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It’s easily one of my favorite dishes anywhere. A great spot all around.
