Anytime I go through Vallejo I have to stop and grab food. They are very sweet and quick. Love the smoothies

Solid teriyaki. I usually just get a chicken teriyaki bowl but the plate is pretty worth it (the dressing for the salad is peanut based and very good). I think they use 1 grill to prepare (every type of) the meat. My chicken had a hearty beef taste to it like it was cooked on something with beef fat on it. I know some people are particular about their diet but let me tell you - this made the chicken even better. I could be wrong about this but that's how it seemed. Just like any teriyaki place, ask for extra teriyaki sauce.

Curt but polite service. Food came out in minutes, with a portion too big for me to finish in one setting. Very tasty and a healthier alternative to the deep fried, buttered up food in other restaurants.

It's a small restaurant, but comfortable. The food is very good and low cost. Decent varierty is available and their bento box combos are great. There is a bit of a wait at times since it's a small staff, but I would absolutely recommend the place.

One of best places you will get sushi, Teriyaki bowl and Boba tea. I've been going here for years. One of my favorite places. May be a small building but it's so worth it!

I was craving Japanese food, and Midori didn't disappoint. The rice was very good. I ordered something quick and easy as I was in a rush. Honestly, I don't know what it was, but definitely, it was good.

Love their teriyaki chicken bowls and smoothies, they have the best smoothies in vallejo. They aren't full of ice and actually taste like fruit! This is my go to

Never has anything I ordered come out piping hot. It seems that most places let it sit for 2 minutes before someone takes it over, even with take-out. Here, however, the curry chicken katsu I ordered was so fresh that I was taken aback by the temperature. The katsu was perfectly crisp with soft meat inside, and the curry flavorful. It tasted like a homemade meal, especially with the ceramic plate. I've also had the udon and unagi bowl, both amazing. The shakes are also the best I've ever had.

My girlfriend ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken, just as big and very yummy. We also got a Ebi Roll, and a Spicy Tuna Roll, all top shelf items with out question. My only grip is no soda fountain, so we had to get Snapple. But all of that, 2 bowls, 2 rolls, and 2 drinks. $28. I can not tell you how good this food was for the price. On our way out, we decided heck with it, lets get a smoothie. They are like $3.50 for a small, which is the perfect size. I had a banana and my gf had a mango. It tasted like they just crammed a ton of fruit in there. It was heavy like a milk shake, and tasted like heaven. Soo amazing, and I know I will be showing up again when the weather starts to get warm, like it already is. They do have a large version of the smoothies, and I think thy were like $4.50 or so, and the sign says 64oz, but I saw a few people order them, I think the sign lies, they were HUGE!!! Soo worth it. In conclusion: The scary part about this place is how good and cheap it is. It's also right next to the house, just as close as McD's, and basically the same price for a simple meal.

Got the happy roll and rainbow roll. Came out to like $24. Honestly I really enjoyed it. Simple yet fulfilling and not too heavy on the stomach. Was really craving some and saw some reviews on here which made me wanna try. Simple menu which I liked. Sometimes it's hard to pick sushi at certain spots because they have so much choices. All you can eat sushi can be good but man you feel so freaking full. Anyways for some quick real sushi this place is cool. Not the biggest and most glamorous rolls but they had good flavor and wasn't too expensive but you in general sushi is an expensive meal. Once in a while it's such a treat when the sushi is actually good. Thanks guys I was craving so bad haha figure I'd just type up a review.

Came here with a fellow coworker and we were surprised how good the food was. We ordered so much(big portions fyi) and we finished all of it. Yes, that good. There are a couple of tables there, but I would recommend you order takeout.

Food is what I ordered and smells amazing but it looked like they shook my sushi before handing it to the driver.... everything was tide tightly but when I took the containers out they gave me a broken container and again the sushi was everywhere already mixed with the Wasabi and ginger disappointing 😞 food is good care is not. UPDATE AFTER EATING. I have found bones in the unagi I took out 3 than noticed every piece had bones im so sad and disappointed 😞 The foods good 👍 tempura is probly the only thing I will ever order from them I don't trust the fish sadly 😞

Thick & saucy! I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate for the kids & I had the general's chicken. Friendly staff walked food to car.

Wish I could say I loved it but the vegetable and shrimp tempura had way too much batter on them. Great prices though. Staff was very friendly! The dragon and shrimp sushi rolls tasted very fresh. There were no jalapeños on the sushi like another commenter posted. If you want spicier food, just ask the staff and they will try to accommodate you.

This is a very nice sushi and ramen restaurant. I had the Deluxe Nigri and others in my group had ramen. Both dishes were outstanding. Good flavor and options. The service was also amazing. Recommend without question. Enjoy!!

Its pretty solid the smoothies are good its not too expensive if you get the large chicken and rice and want extra sauce then you should get it on the side mine was damn near soup but its pretty solid like panda express level eats plus smoothies so id probably rather it (Honey walnut shrimp is overrated btw)

Great chicken teryachi bowls. They have good banana-strawberry smoothies. The only reason they dodn"t get a 5 was they didn't mix the power additive very well. So the smoothy was laced with these small slimy fish egg looking things. Kind of gross but they are usually great.

This a tucked away gem. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Its the best I tasted, and the hot pepper slices gives them the extra kick of you desire extra hot. 12 juicy peices, the perfect texture. If you haven't it's a must. But be mindful , you will have the need to have them often they are soo delicious.... Vallejo a large city with a small town ambiance...

Lunch at yet another eatery that was a stranger to me, I found this lovely gem occupying the old Taco Bell restaurant in Vallejo. Again, my wife and I entered, and the nostalgia flooded my brain, but was swept away by their menu and the smells of the food. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken plate, and my wife ordered the Teriyaki chicken Katsu plate, then an additional Dragon Roll and a vegetable tempura plate of sweet potato and broccoli. Got home and fell in love with the flavors and portions. Crunchy chicken tempura, flavorful chicken, sweet sauces, and the Dragon roll was to die for. Plenty for the next day, and a fresh take on establishments inside paddy establishments. I will definitely return here for more meals, and continue to post about them.

The food was reasonably good, however it was not a good atmosphere for small children. The waitress seemed extremely concerned about what my toddler "might" touch on the table. I think she was attempting to be helpful, but hovering and constantly removing anything she thought we might not need from the table such as demanding we decide between silverware and chopsticks, despite asking for both, coming back just to remove the tent card, etc. However, the decor was fun, as there is a very pretty koi pond/stream. I would go back for sure.

I don’t like sushi so I usually avoid Japanese cuisine also it can be expensive. Went with mom and brother, got tempura veggies and chicken teriyaki, the portions were huge and the price was really reasonable! We all were pleased with our meals. Will definitely be back ! can hardly understand woman at counter. ordered chicken teriyaki with rice. Came in a paper bowl, rice at the bottom and dark meat chicken shreds in a sauce? also, salt & pepper shrimp. Heavy breading, but honestly very tasty and a bargain at $11. Truthfully, this is a take restaurant with a couple of tables and no table service. Food was tasty. Take out if you want, but don’t plan to eat here

Got the beef and I literally couldn't chew it. Every single bite was nothing but fat. Cheap but lowest quality. Never again.

Restaurant is an old Taco Bell. Walls, windows and lights grimy. Served drinks in Styrofoam cups. The California roll was just OK. Don't expect a real Japanese restaurant.

Not true Japanese food. All the "seafood" is cooked and the variety is extremely limited. If you want REAL sushi, I recommend any OTHER place in town.
