The staff at La Gran Parada made the environment feel like an authentic seaside restaurant in the Dominican Republic. The food was fresh and delicious. The music was engaging and creates a relaxed mood as my family to tasted the plethora of seafood available on the seafood platter. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the environment is comforting and the location is perfect. One of Washington Heights quite jewels.

First time I went today and I got a mangu, tasted very good and everything was very clean . Would continue to go there

Quality control needs improvement. The roasted chicken, rice, and beans are usually good. The customer service is decent. A few times I have ordered chicharron and pernil and the meat had an unpleasant flavor. Another time, the ribs I bought were old and dry. Last time I went, the pernil smelled sour and rotten. I had to throw it all away. El control de calidad necesita mejorar. El pollo asado, el arroz y las habichuelas suelen tener buen sabor. El servicio al cliente es aceptable. En un par de ocasiones el chicharrón y el pernil tenían un sabor desagradable. En otra ocasión, las costillas que compré estaban viejas y resecas. La última vez que fui, el pernil olía agrio y a podrido. Tuve que botarlo.

The place is overpriced and the food is bland. If you want seafood, go a few doors down to Juniors. They're much better.

Called for delivery food ,what I get was cold food and not fresh food , and price to high. I not recommend this place.. food must be hot and fresh ,and juice. Dryer fish look like 2 day in a hot case and rice nasty.totones re fried. 😒 wasted my money here. But no more.

The shrimp and crab pastelitos are horrible. I'm sorry but I like my onions and peppers cooked, the pastelitos are raw inside besides the protien. Never again.

My team had to go on meal late because of that. I will not be ordering for my business through them again. En general, mal servicio. It was 1am when I came in to get some food and one of the ladies kept nagging for me to order. I had my focus on trying to select what I wanted to eat and I had expressed that to her. She had a very nasty attitude in rebuttal. The food was good just ignore the older lady’s attitude. She’s always there and that’s just how she is. Very tacky ….

I wasn’t able to finish even a quarter of the food. It did not taste good.
