This was my first time trying this restaurant, and it was really good. I’m soo glad I ordered the Singapore street noodles 10/10 with great flavor. Next time I’m in Venice, I’ll definitely swing by again.
I ordered fried chicken, cah kangkung and hot ginger tea. Every dish was delicious and service was friendly. I enjoyed my dining experience. There's a small parking lot in front of the restaurant and it was full when I went. There are some street parking nearby.
Excellent Indonesian and Asian restaurant. Good breadth of dishes. Sambal could have been hotter. Fun place.
Very delicious, wonderful flavors. It really stands out from other places I've tried similar dishes at. The chicken satay with peanut sauce was very filling and hearty. The ribs were my favorite, it must try. I will come back!
I came here with my sister yesterday for dinner and it was fantastic ! We enjoyed it so much we ordered more. The ambiance was nice and would be a great date spot ! The perfect amount of people to hold conversation. We ordered the chicken sate, papaya salad, sambal wontons, and steamed garlic veggies :)
My first time trying Indonesian food! Our waiter, Rayzan(?) was super friendly and kindly answered all our questions about the menu. He pointed out all the vegetarian options for me and was sure to warn us about any spicy dishes. The food itself was excellent and so nicely presented. I ordered the Saya Vegetarian which looked so pretty that I almost felt bad about eating it (good thing I did though, since it was delicious!). We also got the Mie Tek Tek noodles that they made with tofu instead of chicken. These were also delicious
Gem of a place! Fantastic customer service, pleasant ambiance, and good food. The menu is really well labeled for allergens and the staff is very attentive and listens well to customers' orders. The sauce with the branzino was a little cold by the time it made it's way to me, but otherwise quite good, very flavorful.
Authentic Indonesian food in an elegant and elevated setting. Decor shows clear presence of traditional elements with colonial influences. Plenty of seating all around with combination of tables with chairs and cushioned benches that can be easily arranged for small to large size groups. Some items in the menus are similar to the sister property of the original Simpang Asia, but there are uniquely innovative dishes that are only available at the Venice location, such as the Pad Thai that reminisces the char kway teao with familiar taste of traditional pad thai. Other dishes we had there are nasi goreng, roti phratha, sate ayam, and laksa which are all very tasty in their own right. The drinks are really good too, including the egg coffee (Hanoi style), teh tarik, and the iced Vietnamese coffee. Service is friendly, prompt and efficient. There's a small parking lot at the back side for all Lincoln plaza patrons.
I came to Simpang for the first time on Wednesday this week and returned on Friday! That says a lot! What a gem of a place! Great quality food that is reasonably priced, amazing flavors, super cute decor, everything is spotless and the staff is professional and friendly. You can’t ask for more! You gained a new regular customer. I’ll be back again soon to try more of your wonderful food 💛
After staying almost 2 weeks in LA, finally found the best restaurant in LA. Staffs are friendly with smile. The foods are so tasty and delicious.. must try the Nasi Uduk with fried chicken, and the Grilled Chicken, best 👍. The place is not huge, but big enough for 30 people and very clean. Overall, i love this place and hope i can come back to enjoy it again 😎 Thank you!
There’s so much to choose from here, and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. The kwetiau goreng is the standout dish for me. I love the chewiness of the flat rice noodles paired with all the flavors of the chicken and veggies. I do prefer it to the mie tek tek, which I find has a stronger flavor but is also still delicious. The serving size isn’t huge but I think it’s enough to get you full, and the pricing is fair for the quality and area. Wait staff is always friendly, service is quick, and the place has a modern, clean feel that’s made even better with recent renovations and expansions. The parking lot can fill up on a busy evening, but there’s some free street parking in the residential area nearby as well as another parking lot behind the building. I’ve found on off weekdays it’s pretty quiet, but there’s restaurant does fill up Fri-Sun for dinner.

My favorite Togo Asian spot is on the west side. I LOVE THIS SPOT. I’ve been here 10+ times and have never been a disappointment. I usually get the chicken sate, garlic seafood noodles, and their traditional curry. The staff is so nice and the place is always clean too. I love it!!!
Lovely dinner on a Sunday night with a local friend. Sampled a few dishes and shared family style. Parking was tight and the restaurant was full but able to accommodate our party of three without a wait. Many options to try.
Simpang Venice was the perfect place to host my 40th birthday dinner, and the night could not have gone better. We had a group of 28 people and reserved a semi-private section of the restaurant. The team was incredibly accommodating with table formation, allowing us to start the evening standing and mingling with drinks before transitioning smoothly into a seated dinner. It made the whole event feel relaxed, social, and well organized. We chose the tasting menu, which was ideal for a group this size and really emphasized sharing and togetherness. The food was outstanding across the board. The lumpia were a standout favorite, crispy and flavorful, and the Singapore Street Noodles were a crowd pleaser, reminding me of my childhood in Asia. We also loved the Sumatra Grilled Chicken, which fell off the bone, and the ’Tis My Rendang was incredibly tender, rich, and deeply satisfying. The Festival Feast felt generous, indulgent, and perfect for a celebration. Many of my friends are already planning to come back just for the food. For a semi-private event on the west side, the pricing was very reasonable given the excellent service, atmosphere, and quality of the meal. I would highly recommend Simpang Venice for milestone celebrations or group dinners.
I order from here a lot! It's my favorite local spot in Venice, The chicken Lekker, Roti Paratha, Sambal Wontons and Papaya Salad are my all time favorites! Especially the Chicken Lekker, probably the best fried chicken i've ever had! The sauce is sweet just a bit spicy and the chicken is so so crispy. I'm not a spice lover i usually order mild spice at other places, and these dishes are just perfectly spicy enough for me.

Great vegetarian options provided. The waiter was friendly and recommended really good dishes. The Char Kway Teow was excellent and spiced very well. The Mie Tek Tek was also a great vegetarian option, my family enjoyed it. We also had the chicken curry that was moderately spiced. The peanut sauce with the chicken satay was very well seasoned. Had a Good experience.
Very unique presentation of foods. Foods were delicious. They served the foods very quickly. The staff were nice.
I wish they had more Indonesian dishes instead of sprinkling in Thai and other dishes. Having said that, the mango sticky rice was delicious and took me back to Thailand!
Loved the decor in this restaurant! No alcohol but they do offer zero proof substitutes. 4/5 Roti Paratha - curry dip was too tangy with tomato 4/5 Martabak Telor - flavors were a bit muted and needed the dipping sauce 4/5 Singapore Noodles Es Cendol - this drink grew on me with each sip. The pandan jelly was interesting, not too sweet One unisex restroom in the back which was very clean Parking lot in the front but could get crowded during peak hours

Cute Indonesian spot with another location in Palms. My boyfriend loves the roti paratha and the mie tek tek, and he always get it when we come. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking. The Thai tea comes with garnishings and they do have cocktails/alcohol. You can make reservations in advance but we walked in on a weeknight and there was no wait if you go later in the evening. Portions are generous and I had leftovers for lunch the following day. Credit cards accepted and they’ll bring the reader out to you.

Simpang Venice is a decent spot with friendly service. The gentleman who assisted us was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. The food was okay—not quite what I was expecting in terms of flavor, but still enjoyable. If you’re in the area and curious to try something different, it might be worth a visit.
