Consigliatissimo! Very good !
Consigliatissimo!
Great restaurant in a quieter part of Venice. We were seated quickly at a lovely table for two. The atmosphere felt very local, and the food was perfect. The tiramisu was exceptional! I’d also highlight the very reasonable prices for both drinks and food. Definitely not overpriced like some restaurants closer to the city centre.
We took the pasta and tiramisu cooking class at 10:30am..a 2 hour class. It was definitely clean, fun and educational. I’m not a big fan of thick pasta noodles however all the rest of our party of 8 did. The sauce was very yummy and so was the tiramisu. The surprise as they stated earlier was white and red wine. We had 3 underage kids with us all teens so they had soft drinks. I would definitely recommend because it is something different to do. The staff was very friendly and understanding when the younger set couldn’t quite get the pasta making techniques. There were 3 Canadians and they paid $155 CAD/person for the class. For the rest of us US citizens we paid $155 USD/person. All in all it was a very good time had by all.
What a great experience for our first time, not only in Venice but in Italy! Wait time was adequate considering we didn't have a reservation, staff was super friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious. When we told the staff we were celebrating our Honeymoon they brought out free dessert and drinks!
During our four day visit to Venice, we hit the restaurant 4 times. It’s that good and the prices are THAT reasonable. What I recommend: fish soup if you are into soups and seafood. Pizza: try the vegetarian one, even if you love your meat, it’s likely you’ll enjoy this. The sea bass is wonderful! Order it oven baked and veggies on the side! Definitely try their spinach side dish! Regarding pastas, I’d recommend their simple Penne dish (the one with tomato sauce). I tied their black sauce pasta, although it was ok, I won’t order it again if I had a chance.

Personale gentile e servizio rapido.
Cibo discreto, personale molto gentile
The food was very good, and there are several vegetarian options available. The place attracts mostly tourists, but the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The interior is simple, and the prices are average. Overall, a nice spot for a relaxed meal.
Very pleasant - they were very busy but looked after us and the waitress who served us couldn’t have been more helpful despite how busy they were. Reasonably priced too.

Personale gentile e professionale
Good food but waiter on entering wasn’t very kind. He gave us the worst table in corner next to wardrobe despite we made reservation three weeks before and entered empty restaurant. And said me and my spouse “ciao” when we were leaving; we are both over 60. We didn’t feel comfortable and to be welcomed.
We wanted to go a couple other places and ended up here. It's ok. Service was not terrible but not great either. Dropped off bread and oil no plates, had to ask another server for plates. Server seemed judgy on our wine pick.. I know wine, did we pick a great one or a bad one? No. Did I ask for his reaction? No. Burrata was very good, ravioli was good but Ossobucco was kinda average... and I'm comparing to USA. We're literally a long bike ride from Lombardy.. You would think it would have been at least top 10 I've had. Wife was a chef, I just eat at nice places a lot for work so it's not a pedestrian opinion at all. Also their table bread needs some work. I've gotten better bread during this trip from street vendors, hell even on the ferry we took. My German dad's homemade bread is 10x better. Polenta was way too thick, supposed to be loose. Was like gelatin in the fridge. Again not a terrible restaurant just disappointing for the price and setting.
Cannelini octopus was burnt and had no other taste at all, same as some grey mashed potatoes (it was on top of 'menu of the day' so i expected it to be at least decent). I had really similar feeling for gnocchi with pisstachio pesto, couldn't feel anything. I really do not want to be mean but it just was not tasty. Place was almost full with people but we haven't been waiting more than 15-20min, service was also great so no complains here. Overall, wouldn't recommend, I believe you can find better places to eat :)
The food especially the pasta has been amazing. However, the service is poor. One of the waiter placed a wrong order for us and spoke with a bad attitude like it was our mistake. Yet all we did was pointing at the menu for the food item. Not sure whether it has anything to do with us being asians as his attitude with other tables was complete different but we spoke politely and were quiet throughout our meal. We never disturbed others in the restaurant. Had no idea why he had to act like that. Other waiters were okay but he truly gave us an unpleasant meal.

When I ate a hair while eating the squid spaghetti, the waitress started preparing to say that it was my hair that had fallen in. I explained to her that I had yellow hair and that my hair was tied up and she finally took the dish into the kitchen. She brought the food back without any apology and still tried to say that it could have been my hair. Eventually the manager was called and still had the attitude that he was forced to apologise and that there was nothing that could be done about it. It was so irritating. This restaurant is 30 pounds per person, is this normal service attitude?
We were having a perfectly nice dinner but one of the waitresses ruined the evening for me. I asked for parmesan for our table for my husband's pesto pasta and my seafood pasta which I learnt later is a big faux pas. But she didn't need to roll her eyes and make a terrible face. I would have appreciated if she kindly educated me :) the food was not great and the seafood didn't taste fresh. Though I did enjoy the house wine! Definitely don't recommend a place that makes you feel so judged. Though I did learn an important lesson which I will be more careful of next time as I do want to respect the chef's dish :)
