I was traveling from out of state and these folks made us feel right at home with exceptional service and even better food! Not pictured is the ceviche, but it is AMAZING. Highly recommend the oysters, blue fin crudo, and the steak frites complimented with orange chimichurri. Highly recommend. The owner is such a nice guy. Will definitely be back!

It’s always sunny at the VBC. I just love walking into this place. Simply the loveliest crew that works here. So friendly, accommodating and hard working. Probably the best pint of Stella in LA. Cold, crisp and delicious. Love the new menu too. Can’t go wrong with the pasta or the salad. Make sure to stay for the sunset. It’s magical.

Not sure what exactly it was, but my experience there last Sunday was perfect, from the food, to the service, to the location, and the weather. After a couple of drinks, I felt like I was on vacation and I live nearby. Anyplace that can transport you to another place and time is 5 stars in my book.

Always a great groove at Venice Beach Club - Whether it is a quick beer after a bike ride, or sunset dinner or afternoon drinks on the weekend...the food is great, the service and the vibe is spot on.

Great local spot with an amazing view of the beach - perfect for a relaxing afternoon outside. Drinks are great and the new food menu is exceptional. Staff is kind and efficient despite being such a busy area - Robby always goes above and beyond.

New Owners, new face. I think it was a great change. I loved VAH but it was getting old and staid. This place needed a refresh and they nailed it. Great vibe, great music, the food is much better and I hear the new chef trained under a Michelin star chef, so more to come on that. A welcome change to add to the Venice Beach scene.

Great spot for a drink on the patio while watching the sunset. This place is at the end of the ocean front walk, so you can easily stop here for a drink and end here for a drink.

my boyfriend and I came in for food after spending the day at the beach . it was very busy but they got us a great seat . ( it was like a lounge chair with shade ) best seat ! we were able to watch the sunset, and get good vibes. the food was better than expected and came fresh without wait (again they were busy but ON POINT).The hostess and waitresses were very kind. and the manager came to check on us during our meal. hard to say most places can give you that same atmosphere and attention when its busy but they managed to make it happen. it was our first time going and I can see us coming back.

Dont order pizza from here. Please save yourself time money, time and energy. Paid $22 for a 12-inch margherita pizza. Ive veebn to a hundred different pizza places but Never been so disappointed in pizza my entire life. Also the taste is mediocre.

Place has a cool vibe to it. Food and drinks were amazing but staff was very odd and they automatically charge 20% tip.

Although I enjoy my repertoire with the staff, they’re mostly self involved doing shots intermittently during down town when I’m a customer, however due my frequency get downgraded on service. Also, please do not fluctuate your prices — I asked for a Tito Soda, or a vodka soda, and the bartender gave me their preference and charged as such. That’s wildly unfair, then when asked, was told in given the discount. Upset

We only had a drink here but seriously - $16 US for basically four sips and a glass of ice. Not impressed at all! There are other places nearby worth a look.

Service was attentive at first, but then it fell apart. Nobody checked on us, never asked if we want dessert. After 30 mins of nobody coming around, we got the check. Food didn't match menu description. Ordered cod, but it was some warp thing with butter leaf lettuce. Very confusing. Overly flavored food. If you're 22, this might be the spot, but adults can skip it. Loud DJ. Used earplugs during dinner. In a dingy part of cenice. Won't recommend for dinner. I went to in n out after cause I was still.hungry.

Probably the worst food I've ever eaten out in my life. Giving it two stars for the atmosphere. Ended up taking most of it home for my dog. That was some expensive dog food.

Server was terrible, never came to ask us if we needed more drinks or anything missing from our meal. I also watched a server come out of the bathroom and not was their hands. Not a great experience. View and ambiance is nice, though.

View is nice. And that’s all. Very noisy. No water served (despite ordered). Service is zero, but 20% gratuity is still automatically added… Wrong dish has been ordered. That should not be a problème as long as the correct dish is ordered quickly after that. But that was not the case. Plate was brought looong after. French fries arrived too late (long after the correct plate, yes yes..). The dish has eventually been offered, but that is still not a good experience.

Good Food Ruined by Poor Service. We had lunch today at VBC in Venice with our family. I’ll start with the positives: the location is great, the food came out fast and was actually quite good, the hostess was friendly and professional, and the bussers were kind and attentive. That said, it was surprising that the restaurant was out of guacamole for the chips something you wouldn’t expect at a place like this. Not a huge issue, but worth noting. Also, the music was extremely loud, to the point where it was difficult to have a normal conversation at our own table. Unfortunately, the service from our waitress completely ruined the experience. From the moment she sat us, she appeared rushed, impatient, and had a strong attitude. Shortly after seating us, she asked us to move tables because two nearby young women were having drinks. What made this worse is that they were clearly vaping and visibly blowing smoke from their table and wanted more space, yet somehow our family was treated as the inconvenience. We were never given utensils or napkins with our food. When we politely asked multiple times simply so we could eat she responded with visible annoyance and attitude each time, as if we were bothering her. When we requested the check, she told us that a 25% gratuity was automatically added as restaurant policy. I asked to leave a custom tip instead, and she reluctantly removed it, then hovered over me while I paid. After I left the minimum tip (which reflected the level of service), she walked away angry and clearly upset. The food itself was good, but the service was so unpleasant that it overshadowed everything else. A server with this level of hostility and attitude should not be representing the restaurant. Sadly, we won’t be returning not because of the food, but because of the service.
