This is our favourite restaurant in Ventimiglia. We have been coming here for a number of years and every time, we have a pleasant experience. The seafood is always fresh and cooked wonderfully. The staff are friendly and the service is good. The restaurant has a beach and a wonderful view onto the sea.

Perfect. Right on the sea. We came in after they had finished serving food for the day, but we were greeted warmly and given a table on the beach. They opened the kitchen back up and the owner's son made us an amazing seafood pasta dish. What warm hospitality and incredible food. This may have been the best dining experience I've had in Italy. :)

Facciamo spesso aperitivo quando andiamo in ferie a Ventimiglia, il dehors ha una bella vista sul mare. Aperitivo ha un prezzo accettabile con i classici stuzzichini. Personale gentilissimo!!

Ci sono andato con la mia famiglia e devo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Infatti non mi aspettavo dei piatti così buoni. Il piatto forte a parer mio è stato l'antipasto. Polpo con patate schiacciate che è stato impiattato in un modo molto particolare ma molto azzeccato. L'unica pecca sul cibo che mi viene da fare è per i dolci. Poca varietà di scelta, hanno solo i più classici. E onestamente il tiramisù non mi ha fatto impazzire. Ho trovato difficile incrociare lo sguardo con i camerieri per chiamarli. Per il resto come dicevo è stata una piacevole sorpresa

Spent the day at the beach and ate at the beach side restaurant. The beach is not the best with rocks, but the water is fresh and very clean and the floor is sandy once you are waist deep. We were a group of 12 and had a nice long table at the beach side restaurant. The setup is great, protected from the sun and breezy. The food was excellent and our kids had a blast. Our friends are regulars here and maybe we benefited from their prior knowledge and relationship with the staff. In any case I recommend. Comparatively affordable day at the beach, great food, clean water, good service.

This is a very nice restaurant right on the beach. We didn't book a table and were lucky enough to get a table with a nice view. The food was excellent and we could even ask for some changes in the plates. The service was very good and waiters/tresses were very kind. However, the waiting time was a bit long and prices a bit high in my opinion related to the originality or exception of the way to prepare the food (which was quite standard, even though the food was really good). You clearly pay for the location rather than the refined and sophisticated side of the food. It was still a very nice restaurant where you can stay to have nice food and chill!

Had an easy smallish lunch, shared misto fritto which was delicious as well as the bottle of prosecco. 😉 We did not reserve but at 1430 they still accepted clients so was great. Dutch owner very friendly and service was great too! Would go again!

Great food, wonderful service. If you're Dutch and you don't speak Italian, there's someone that speaks your language. They're specialized in sea food and if you're into that, you should have lunch or dinner here. Visitors are neat and well behaved. So, if you're looking for a quiet day at the beach, a nice lunch and wonderful dinner? This is the place of your choice.

We were here all by ourselves vor lunch which is always a bit awkward. The quality of the food is excellent and we enjoyed ourselves, but the bill was a bit of a shock.

Posizione perfetta, cibo e bevande ottimi, vista mozzafiato sul mare. Ma ci andiamo spesso, diverse volte a settimana per un drink o un caffè. Il personale è scontroso e sgarbato. Mai un sorriso, un "benvenuto" o un "piacere di rivederti". Bisognerebbe mandarli su un percorso di charme!

Un' ora e venti minuti per tre risotti ed uno spaghetto all'astice! Per di più "accomodati" ad un tavolo, all'aperto, ricavato da bobine in legno recuperate chissà dove e pitturate di bianco...scomodissimo. Necessita aggiungere che tanti altri clienti si sono lamentati per la lunghissima attesa

Metto una stella perché purtroppo lo zero non c'è. Il cibo sarà anche buono e il posto non è male. Ma questo non basta per essere professionali e voi non lo siete stati. Ci siamo seduti a pranzare alle 13.00 dopo un ora ad aspettare nessun cameriere si è degnato di venire a ordinarci. Mentre intorno a noi venivano serviti tutti anche quelli arrivati dopo di noi tranne che noi.alche facciamo notare questa cosa e chiediamo se è possibile ordinare, (può capitare di avere tanta gente per carità ma un ora e mezza per un antipasto mi sembra troppo) , morale della favola abbiamo incominciato a mangiare un antipasto alle 2 e mezza . Ma questa non è la cosa peggiore. Quando poi andiamo alla cassa e paghiamo il conto di 90 € compreso di pranzo (se così si può chiamare avendo preso solo 2 antipasti, acqua, e due calici di prosecco) e compreso anche di un lettino sdraio e ombrellone per una giornata, al momento del pagamento non ci viene nemmeno specificato il costo del pranzo e il costo della spiaggia privata. Quindi non lo trovo ne corretto e ne essere onesti.paghiamo e non diciamo pure niente per non fare delle parole. Ma questa non è ancora la cosa peggiore. Dopo aver pagato una cifra alta e essere trattati in questo modo, Quando andiamo via dalla spiaggia veniamo pure rincorsi dal bagnino chiedendoci se avevamo pagato. Come se fossimo pure dei ladri che se ne stavamo andando. Pagare delle cifre alte per essere trattati così . Che schifo mai più.

1 star is for the ambience. But still the ambience was average at best, super dirty exterior. Awful service. Super rude tall male server. Tried to ask why the wifi wasn’t working and he walked away as I was speaking and said it’s just like that. Dirty dishes were on my table for over 20 minutes, waiters walked by multiple times and did not clear. I asked the rude waiter to clear the dish, and he gave me a glare (?) lol as if it was an offence to ask him to do his job. (??) Just to note, I was the only person of colour in the restaurant. He seemed to be more polite to the other customers. Food was disappointing. I only ate the clams, pasta had no flavour and couldn’t even be saved with salt and pepper. If it hadn’t been for the fact that the wifi wasn’t working and I couldn’t find another place I would have left.

A-Free Bird

We got take away because it was the festival of the patron Saint of the area. The counter servers were disgruntled,brisk and rude. The place upstairs was completely empty. I was the only person ordering anything to go. I’m only giving the one star because the Maitre D’ was quite nice and explained in detail why we couldn’t get a table on their busiest night. I ordered a sandwich to go, a gelato and fresh orange juice. The juice was ok. The gelato tasted like processed, American soft serve and when I realized the sad looking panini sandwich could be heated up and requested that, I was met with a slew of “Why didn’t you say so!!!” In rude yelling Italian from a very rude, grumpy old man. I smiled and waited patiently for him to take forever to heat it up. The woman at the register who took my money couldn’t even muster eye contact much less a common decency of an Italian “Grazie.” It was the worst, most obnoxious experience!!! I honestly didn’t even want the sandwich(which I got for my hungry child)after all that but took it and smiled politely. Luckily there was a homeless man sitting outside who was very hungry. I guess I purchased the sandwich for him. He was very grateful for a warm meal. We got Pizza instead from across the street at 14 Moto. The service there was wonderful and a gentle reminder that kindness still exists in that area.
