The Victoria IHOP is the spot to stop. I like it because my daughter and I like to go after 4pm. Buy an adult get child meal free. We like the seasonal pancakes like the grinch and strawberry. All of the waiters have always been so nice and never rude and always accomidating.

I have never had a negative experience with any IHOP. The food is always delicious. The Only thing that could be bad and was not, is the staff. All of them super friendly and ready when you need something.

Always enjoy having breakfast there, especially if you're an early bird like me. The service is great an love having a coffee pot on the table where I can refill when I need to. Thxs

We went on a Sunday so we knew there would be a wait but once we got seated the service was so quick and our server was very nice. Came and checked in just the right amount which surprised me considering how busy they were. Of course the breakfast was great, eggs cooked properly and I love their syrups.

I love Ihop! Great food and the service is on point. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I've not had any bad experiences here. We have gone for breakfast every time. It gets super crowded and can be uncomfortably loud, especially for small children. But if you get a booth by a window, it helps. They also have coupons in the local go city shopper booklet.

The food was amazing, it was fresh and super delicious. My daughter and I order the Bacon Omelette and wow!! Plus we had unlimited pancakes and all were fresh. Our waitress gave us the best service, everytime we go there we get the best service. This time we got Andrea, she was always there to see if we needed anything. The food is quite good but even better than that the people who run the restaurant are absolutely top-notch. I really enjoy going there because they always are so friendly and welcoming. Also the manager comes out into the restaurant from time to time to greet people and see how it is going. He is wonderful and I'm sure provides a good work environment because the people who work there have been there for decades in some cases

Friendly servers and the managers all help on weekends when there packed to gills and moving quick! Foods worth the few minutes chatting with your friends( it's better get talking done before eating starts) so can enjoy food.

My and my kids went on a weekend vacation to the beach. My daughter wanted IHOP so we found this one. It was really busy on Sunday morning. Once we got seated, our server was extremely nice. I believe her name was Jessica, even thought they were really busy, the food was very quick. Our service was really good, she was kind and made sure my kids drinks were full. Next time I will go back here.

Our waitress was named Jessica and me and my mom loved her. She was very nice and the Ihops near my house are okay they do good too but the ihop I went too is probably my favorite.

Went here before my great-aunt's funeral. When we were in a terrible place, the staff treated us kindly and with as much love one could extend strangers. Even without being told a tragedy was occuring. Some of the kindest staff I've encountered at an IHOP.

Fast service good food. My mom likes to order German pancakes or German crepes which is not on the menu. Ask for their house salsa it is really really good 👍

Was cold today with the outdoor seating but the good thing was the wait was short. We got our food quick. Loved the friendly service & enjoyed my grilled chicken dinner. Thank you IHOP

This place is always good. Service is friendly but professional. We always tip here as the servers and management check on their patrons continuously through the meal and drinks are never empty for too long.

Went in for a quick bit with the misses and got Michael as our server. His section was spotless and his customer service was the best I've had at any IHop. Though the prices have gone up a few dollars in the past year it is understandable. The bacon was a much better quality and it was always the one thing that bummed me out about IHop. Fortunately now everything is perfect.

Great food with endless pancakes, what's not to like.

We enjoyed some coffee with some friends while we waited for the food. The staff was very attentive and very positive. We had some dietary restictions and they were more than happy to help find something that would accommodate it. When we got home the food was amazing and everything was correct.

Food was excellent. It LOOKED better than the pictures on the menu! Service was over the top. The restaurant was very busy. Bummer was the door buzzer. Extremely loud and constant. Made people jump every time it went off.

We first tried going to our local IHOP off Channel Islands Blvd. but the system was down. We made our way up to this location. Upon checking in we were told 25 minutes wait but we’re quickly seated within 5 mins. Our server Jessica was fast but didn’t feel like we were being rushed. She was super sweet and provided excellent service with a smile. We also noticed the manager Efrain, directing the workers behind the scenes making sure every guest was taken cared of specially the folks coming in waiting to be seated. We really enjoyed our deliciously made breakfast and we plan to come back here.

Was Valentines our last visit but love getting coupons to enjoy one of our chain favorites. We have many breakfast locations in the county but affordable with great service is hard to find. Eating out is getting more and more difficult as things get pricey and we get older. Having healthier options are hard. Still a great place to eat out. Especially ventura location. Our waitress was super nice. We'll be back.

I had a great experience at IHOP thanks to our waiter, Carol. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and super attentive. She checked on our table often without being intrusive and made sure our food came out just the way we ordered it. Carol kept our drinks filled, gave great menu recommendations, and made the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. You can tell she really cares about her customers. If you’re coming to this IHOP, definitely ask for Carol—she’ll make your meal even better!

We went there for late dining to celebrate my friend's 70th birthday. The service was great. The restaurant was very quiet with very few people inside since we were there late, it was disappointing that they closed at 9, when on the website, it says they are open until 10, but we had gifts to open and the staff was willing to let us stay and do the gift opening since we had no other place to go to do it. I had the open face avocado roasted tomato sandwich and it was exceptional!

I absolutely love IHOP! We came here on our last day in California before heading home, and as soon as we walked in, I knew we were going to enjoy it. The menu has a great variety, and we ordered omelettes, pancakes, and waffles. I especially appreciated that each coffee order came with its own jug, so convenient, and they were generous with the milk too. The pancakes were honestly the best I’ve ever had. It was sooo fluffy and moist, I finished the whole plate. The omelettes were delicious as well. I was genuinely happy dining here. Service was excellent. Well done to the team, amazing job!

I love a place that encourages strawberry cheesecake waffles at 1:30 in the afternoon! The kind attentive waitress was only more than happy to bring me an extra helping the cheesecake and strawberry topping.... I couldn't get enough. My husband on the other hand had Burger off the lunch options which there are plenty of. He enjoyed his just as much as I if not more. Definiteley more than meets the eye at this IHOP. 🥯🍓

The sirloin tips were juicy. I tried their waffl, and it was DELICIOUS. I used to exclusively eat their harvest grain n nut pancakes and couldn't bring myself to have sirloin tips with their pancakes. I'm sorry, but not sorry. Their WAFFLES, however, are worth the 2 dollar upgrade. People were nice, and I felt comfortable in the booth. I didn't have any drink refill issues either.

When I travel I always eat breakfast at one of the big national chains. Today I found the best IHOP in the country. Everything was perfect, the service, the food, and the restaurant itself. Kudos to the owner, managers, and staff. It’s too bad I don’t live around here.

Went specifically to try their Addams Family Spooky, Kooky menu. The pancakes with cupcake frosting were really rich and tasty. The Morticia's Haunted Hot Chocolate. Turned tongues and lips purple, but they enjoyed it.

Usually I don't like corporate places like this. But they have a pretty good thing going. Some of the same staff has been there for years. Food is consistently good. They also have a nice lighter menu.

The food was very good. And aside from one waiter the service was very good. One of the waiters probably have another job if he doesn't like working with the public!

Always get what I'm expecting. This location is usually very busy, so when I am a single diner, I am not on the radar to ever stop by other than to bring the check. The food is good though and prepared pretty fast.

It's a good, reliable standby. It can get crowded, but I've never had a bad experience here. I live in the area, so I think I have a reasonable sample size.

The place is clean and provides reasonable service, though the waiters tend to be a bit abrupt. There is plenty of parking though the traffic in the area is a bit crazy at times. Good location, easy to spot. The food is delicious. Overall a good spot to get a bite to eat just don't plan on lingering at all, even when it's not busy, the staff don't like that.

It was good, as usual... have not been in mire than a year due to covid but my boys and I did "fake" school before real class started. I was a bit put off by not all staff wearing masks but the gentleman did stay a good distance while taking our order which I appreciated. IHOP can never disappoint, all their meals are like home, delicious, quick and hot!

This location was not bad, went around noon and it was not busy. We did wait for a bit when walking in only to be asked for how many. Hostess barely spoke up and had no customer service skills whatsoever, she literally dragged her feet to sit us down. However, our server was prompt and delivered a great service.

Called in on Sun to see if they carry the happy hour menu and was told that was the last day. They also do takeout for happy hour so it was no brainer that we're having IHOP for lunch. It's been years since I've stepped into IHOP and their furniture always felt greasy to the touch, my assumption is the lack of ventilation and this location was no exception. We called in our order and got there close to 3P, there was no one in the restaurant except a handful of staff. It's quite depressing because IHOP always depict people happily eating their pancakes and ironic really as there was no one around to enjoy the happy hour. I hope this chain will survive the pandemic. Maybe consider making the happy hour menu permanent? Food wise, we ordered three items from the happy hour menu, each were $6 at this location (some $5) which is a steal these days. The BLT and steakburger sandwiches were good, the ham in omelette was salty for my taste but was also good. The pancakes that came with the omelette were fluffy and tasted heavenly with maple syrup! I also liked their packaging, they had a separate partition for omelette and pancakes, a double decker if you will, to keep them separate which was a nice touch

This is the best IHOP (called IHOB during the burger promotion) I have ever been to. The buttermilk pancakes tasted very good and the french toasts were the best I have ever eaten. But I do have to admit that it can get crowded and there can be a long wait. 4/5

Usual IHOP collection. But I find this IHOP clean and the staff is very nice. It's not a super busy place, depending on the time you get there. However, even during busy times the staff and Shores that they serve you promptly. It's my go-to place for whether I'm in the mood for breakfast food or just Burgers and Fries.

I had the eggs Benedict with Bourbon bacon jam, I guess I'm not into it cuz it was just okay. Home fries were good and so was the cold coffee. Will return back in town just won't be ordering the above.

I'd give them 5 stars but they purposely do not give you the $7 meal menus. That's just not cool.

I went on their anniversary and got the 58 cent pancakes. Those were incredibily delicious. The waitress, however, was not happy about having to work. She was annoyed at my inability to decide what I wanted. Only downside.

Food was low quality.

the food was fresh, hot, and fast. Except the service was awful, we were greeted quickly and seated quickly. Had our orders taken quickly, that's where it started to get bad. The waitress passed by 5 or 6 times and didn't notice my empty cup. The clean up guy pass by twice and on the second time asked if I wanted a refill on our drink. I finished my cup of water and then waited 15 mins after my plates had been taken away, after the 15 min the waitress asked if I wanted a refill on my water. I then took out my payment card and put it on the table, in plain site on the edge (as far as I know that means I'm ready to pay) the waitress pass by 10 to maybe 15 times. During that time 8 mins passed, before the waitress offered me my check.

The staff here is very hit or miss. Sometimes theatre great and other times you can really tell they hate theirs lives. Food is always hot though. Parking is limited, unless you don't mind parking near Trader Joes/Walmart.

Exceptional as usual, unfortunately smoked sausage are not currently available. Could have been higher rating if they achieved consistency!👍

The Country Chicken pancake tacos were really good. Chicken was tasty & pancakes were perfect. Needed the gravy that was supposed to be on there, but the easy tasty fix was syrup. The Breakfast Pancake tacos were good pancakes were perfect, eggs were good, the bacon had a weird flavor.

We had to wait because there tables were full and we had 7 in our party and they weren't cleaning up very quickly. Finally they told us they could put us in 2 different booths since we were traveling and wanted to get back on the road we took the booths. Service wasn't that good they acted like they were put out. I was surprised the server asked the young boys what they wanted and didn't ask parent if that was ok. One of boys didn't order from kids menu and I didn't hear what he ordered, like I said I was surprised server didn't get a ok. Server didn't get orders correct and got put out when asked to get things she forgot

Well, it's an IHOP. We went here instead of a mom and pop place thinking it would be a little cheaper and quicker. Wrong on both accounts. Same price, same wait. The food was good, I enjoyed my eggs and hash browns. The French toast was adequate, but that is my fault for ordering stawberry and bananas on them. All in all, it's an IHOP

I think the waiters and waitresses here are kind of tired of looking and "helping" people all day. You'll notice how different they treat white Americans vs Hispanics. Food is mostly unhealthy stuff but it tastes good so it's always crowded and also the place is well located in Ventura. If you for here, try going in groups of two or more, otherwise you won't get much attention from the staff.

Always have a nice waiter & good food but last time I visited waitress was very rude because I asked her not to fill my coffee too high & the menus were wet. Then she talked about me to the busboy. Also the french toast was burnt...

Very disappointed this visit 11/8/20 They served us frozen potatoes that had freezer burn taste and still frozen in the middle. Most disappointed that they no longer have boysenberry syrup which is one of the reasons we go to IHOP. Also prices went up.

If you're a party of 5, they're going to try to squeeze your party into a booth with a chair seated into the busy isle way. That's their policy. We weren't immediately given the option for a table. Luckily for us, someone in our party was bringing a guest, which expanded our party to 6. Food also arrived at near cold temperature. I'm told by a friend, that this is a common occurrence at that location.

Food was good, but the guy serving me and my friend gave us "a little more time to order" after asking us what we wanted to eat 5 minutes after sitting down, and we ended up waiting I'd say around 30-40 minutes to order, even after we tried to get his attention a couple times. When he finally got around to us, my friend had trouble looking for a certain item on the menu, and instead of getting maybe even a suggestion, he slapped his notebook closed and "gave us a bit more time". Another 10 minutes went by, and people that arrived there after us were leaving before we even got served. Don't know his name, but he was the only one serving in the restaurant at the time of arrival (3:30 pm as of writing). Overall, it was just very frustrating 45 minutes. The food was great, so I guess it's worth the wait..?

My poached eggs were raw buggery. I sent them back. Then gave me boiled eggs instead of poached. There was only 1 couple eating besides myself and my son. And the waitress sat down 4 rows in front if us with her back turned the entire time we were there. Food was simply unacceptable. Service was horrible. I think I'm sticking to Denny's for a long minute. Because this particular IHOP has no business being in the restaurant business.

I came to this IHOP on memorial day, fully aware that they might close early. I arrived at 8:05, and there was a sign on the door stating they were closing at 8:30. However, the doors was already locked. There were still patrons inside eating, but no one even came to explain why the doors were already locked. If you are going to close early, and put a sign up as much, then honor the time on your sign.

We went to this ihop that is listed as closing at 10 online. When we got there it was 8:30 they had locked the door already. On the door says it closed at 9 there were a lot of people inside but no one would open the door

The table was sticky and several items on the table were sticky, including the ketchup bottle, the salt shaker and the sugar tray. The coffee that we ordered had a burned flavor that was unbearable and we were given a pot to refill our mugs that was filled with the same burned coffee. The meal I endured was the chicken and waffles. The waffles were delightful. However the protein masquerading as chicken was unpleasant. It was lacking in all flavor. The meat was nothing more than the children's menu chicken straps. I could have gone to jack in the box down the street, gotten their chicken strips for half the price and left more satisfied. I excepted real chicken to accompany your wonderful waffles.

I give this restaurant a zero but that’s not possible so I give it a one the entrance is so confusing to find and for what and it is very small and ghetto if you have phobia of small spaces don’t bother coming and second the bathroom has TWO stalls and one is so small someone over 400 pounds won’t fit like is that discrimination? And there’s almost no customers here and it’s kinda sketchy btw if you see toilet paper messes in the bathroom it was me 💕

The waiter Veronica who speaks both English/spanish was unprofessional. Came by the table and we started to ask her about the items in the menu sense we realized the menu has changed. And Instead of explaining she said i will give you guys more time because i have other tables to attend. Approached us very rude and rushed us to order. And didn’t even help us on the menu. We had ordered drinks and didn’t even drink them paid for them and left.

I was by myself was seated and went to just wash my hands..I went back to my seat and was just getting passed by the waitress,a couple was seated next to me and asked what they like to drink..I was never served,,I told the manager as I was leaving thank you for the great service he said I was welcome,,ill never return and I go all the time with my twin boys because they love IHOP..I will never return to the IHOP in ventura..time was 10:15am 5/4/2024..

On Thursday I went to celebrate my 4 years with out smoking. Party of 4. I get my coffee with a mosquito, she took it back but I didn't get another cup till I ask for one, We just get one spoon to stir our coffee. We get the food cold, we had to get our own silverware, we get our coffee jar empty. I don't ask for a to go box, I take it my Self. I been working in restaurant industry for 22 years and I never seen nothing like this. I don't blame anybody because idk if the server has some problems. Any way she get a good tip. That was my first time in this place. Do I come back? I don't know.

I witness the “main manager” disrespecting a paying costumer and just stand behind her for a full 20 minutes just watching her while she’s on her phone and making calls hovering her in a creepy way. He then tells her she can’t have any type of work meeting when she was respectful and not causing any disruption, he then proceeds to be very rude to her and still hover over her shoulder to were she was made uncomfortable and left

Myself and a friend went into the Ihope in ventura ca, on victoria yesterday 1.20.26 around 2:00pm we were the only ones there the waitress greeted us and sat us at a booth she brought us 2 glasses of water and let us take a look at the menu but she didnt come back for a while to take our order as we were waiting for the waitress we noticed how filthy the restraunt was at both the wall was very dirty there advertment fixtures on the table were very sticky amd dirty the the both seats were also dirty it looked lime they havent cleaned for months.so when we got are food my cina bites were very dry overcooked my friend ordered the fisherman's platter he said his plate was decent but not for the amount it was priced at mean while the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything until we had to get her attention to get a doggy bag mind you there was only one other customer I That entire restraunt . We for sure will not be returning. You wod think with absolutely no customers that they would have that place sparkling clean or take some pride in ur j.ob

So disappointed, I been an Ihop customer for a long time, last time i placed an online order for a strawberry cheesecake waffle but never received any strawberries or cheesecake just a plain waffle, and the worst part is when i tried to call them they send me straight to voicemail, i know you guys can do better Ihop.
