Pierpont Tacos

We ordered the California Burrito and the Pierpoint Burrito. The meat was tender and full of flavor. It’s a small restaurant but I definitely recommend it. They provided a mix of their salsas. My favorite was the tomatillo salsa.

They have great food, full of flavor but this is my favorite place for a simple grilled BRC with cilantro and onions. On a bike ride? Take it to go for a picnic at Marina Park or State Beach. Cool people, home style hospitality, food made by kind people, easy prices.

Yummy, healthy tacos, steps from the beach. I visited on a Sunday and quickly got my Grilled Shrimp and Pastor Street tacos. Delicious and I'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere here is what wins. And the food is a bonus. Let's move on. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. Place was very clean. Staff was attentive and professional. The menu has many options. I tried a few things. Parmesan crusted crunchy tacos. One asada and one pastor. OMG these are absolutely amazing. Meats are marinated to perfection. Produce is fresh. The different type of taco this is really stands out. I will without a doubt be back just for these. Queso taco chicken. BIG taco. Chicken is moist and tender. Seasoned well. Cooked perfectly. If you like cheese and chicken. This one's for you. Chicken quesadilla. Can't go wrong with a simple quesadilla. Nothing to complain about. Overall my experience here was exactly what I was expecting. A very local vibe. But not in a bad way. Everyone was nice. Everybody around the area was chill. Seating options are good. You could definitely Have a large group here in the outside area without an issue. Parking is easy as well. There's a lot right across the street. And of course street parking too. If you want a different style taco. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed with the Parmesan crusted crunchy tacos. Enjoy!

Pierpont Tacos is hands-down one of the best fish taco spots in Ventura. The fish tacos are consistently excellent—crispy, well-seasoned Alaskan cod, fresh cabbage, pico, and shredded cheddar on soft flour tortillas. A squeeze of lime ties everything together perfectly. Well done Pierpoint!

Incredible tacos and experience were had at Pierpont Tacos! I'm veg and ordered the veggie and potato tacos. Both were AMAZING. Chips and all salsas were ON POINT! Fresh, flavorful and amazing customer service. Rolando the owner treated me like royalty and is the king of all tacos in my book! Can't wait to get back for my taco fix!!

This is my second home. I have an ongoing relationship with the calamari tacos after months of the others including ahi tuna to die for. It’s not expensive and they don’t take Medicare so if you are looking for tacos this is the”place”.

We had lunch here Labor Day weekend when staying at the local Ventura Beach Marriott. The food was phenomenal. My wife absolutely loved her crispy tacos that were dusted with Parmesan and my quesa taco was also very good. The corn tortillas were perfect and the flavor really was amazing. The staff was very friendly and was sure to thank me when he saw I left a tip. We will definitely be back.

Great food! We tried several types of tacos and also had the 3 piece fish and chips. Loved the spicy salsa. All of the food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. My experience was quite different from some other recent reviews that gave low stars, so I am glad I gave it a try!

This was one of my kids favorite taco places. It’s a great little shack that has amazing burritos and tacos. It’s very close to the beach, so if your hungry while you’re at the beach you can easily come and get some food. Parking is a little hard to find around this area, but the food is worth it.

Great place to get tacos abs burritos to bring to the beach. Great street tacos and ahi taco. The breakfast burrito and tacos are great too. Note, they don’t have alcohol. The restaurant is spotless and the staff nice and efficient. It can get popular on beach days. Usually easy to find free street parking nearby.

Wow guys, GREAT tacos with yummy salsa choices and most importantly, the chips were fried fresh- came out hot and salty and light and airy…! Best tortilla chips I’ve ever had! Too bad we live in Indiana ;)

I probably come here for a California burrito once a week and there’s a reason I keep coming back. Super good. Owner is a friendly and chill dude. Every type of meat tastes great. Wife loves the potato tacos.

Fantastic tacos! The fish and shrimp were both super fresh. Love the Parmesan dusted crust. The owner is very nice and friendly. Will absolutely be back next time I’m in Ventura.

I had a fish burrito and jarrito soda. a bit pricey for the portions of fish found in my burrito but it had good flavor and freshness. Service was very friendly. Local is a bit small but was not busy during my visit. I recommend it.

Convenience is king with Pierpont. Right off of Seaward and parking is reasonable. The food was good, we got shrimp and fish tacos. However, salsa was a little bland, tacos were a little bland. Good serving sizes although one taco was over $5. Two tacos would be more than enough for an adult. Ambiance was good, we sat outside and enjoyed the sunset. They could have turned the music down inside—it felt club-esque. I say, fix a couple of flavor issues to be more authentic (I.e., more seasoning) and this place would a five stars. I would come back.

Taking a walk down by the beach with Biscuit, my sister's dog, came across Pierpont Tacos, stopped for a quick snack, ordered one potato Taco and one street Taco of Carne asada and enjoyed a cold beer offered by a friend, enjoyed the Tacos, sitting can be but worth a visit if in the area.
