Our server Matthew was outstanding. We were celebrating a birthday and he made every detail perfect. We had French onion soup and bruschetta for starters which was fantastic! Our entrees were catch of the day Sea Bass and Seafood FriDiablo, both were outstanding! Our drinks were sweet tea and Espresso Martinis and since it was for a birthday we had “on the house” a gigantic slice of triple layer chocolate cake. This place doesn’t disappoint, worth every penny, atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. Our new go-to celebration spot!
We recently visited Maison Martinique in Vero Beach, and it was such a lovely experience! The restaurant is located inside a small boutique hotel - quiet, cozy, and very relaxing. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, and there’s a beautiful outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your meal. The food was absolutely delicious - everything fresh and perfectly cooked, especially the seafood and desserts. There’s also free parking, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful evening and great cuisine!
I came here to sample the crepes for breakfast and it was excellent. I highly recommend this place. I Will be returning for dinner. 5 stars for excellence and service. The food was delicious as well as a creative blend of flavors.
Overall a wonderful dining experience. All dishes were delectable and the ambiance was perfect. The only negative thing I can say is that within minutes of being seated, we were told by the waiter we had to be done by a certain time so the next reservation was able to be seated, which left us checking the time more than enjoying. If there is a time limit on tables it should definitely be part of the booking process. If not for that one comment, it would have been a perfect evening.
This charming restaurant has the ability to transport you to a Caribbean Island as you dine in the garden surrounded by lush trees and flowering plants. The lunch menu was fantastic. We enjoyed delicious sandwiches and salads followed by exquisite dessert crepes and cappuccinos.
We took our kids who were visiting from afar for Christmas to the Havana Nights Piano Bar for dinner, drinks and great live piano music! The food and atmosphere are fantastic. On the small and more intimate side but the perfect piano bar atmosphere! I highly recommend it! Colleen, the manager is hands on amazing ensuring her guests are well taken care of! Highly recommend!
This restaurant is a wonderful retreat from the Florida heat. The breakfasts we enjoyed were all exceptionally good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We are so glad we found such a perfect little restaurant.
Mason Martinique Wow! Have we been missing some great meals! This past Thursday I noticed in 32963 (that’s our island weekly newspaper), Mason Martinique was having a Bouillabaisse Night On Wednesday’s. I decided after many years of not going there it was time to give it a try one more time. Years ago we were regulars when Chef Yannick Martin opened it and then years later when he and his wife Val returned for a brief run. This past Wednesday evening I paid a return visit. We were totally blown away. There was a nice warm greeting upon arrival. Then, into that great Dining Room. The beautiful dining room felt friendly and inviting. Great memories from many wonderful evenings in the past resurfaced. The only thing missing was that fabulous chandelier in the center of the ceiling. The good news is, it still exists. The restaurant owner, Colleen is in the process of donating it back to the Boston Music Hall from whence it came. Savanah , our server, we later discovered was on her first night serving on her own. She was professional efficient and most helpful. As you no doubt know, Bouillabaisse is a meal in it’s self. Lot’s of Seafood, potatoes, leeks , and saffron. No need for an appetizer to detract from the main event. The Bouillabaisse was excellent! I was expecting it to be good, but not this good. All the seafood was perfectly prepared. The potatoes still had nice texture. Yes, and the saffron was definitely spiking the broth. I must say this, is this best Bouillabaisse I have had since France, 10 years ago. But wait, there’s more, not that we needed another morsel. The Bread-pudding had to be sampled! Once again it was better than we were imagining. It was moist, warm with lots raisins an cinnamon and overwhelming with flavors. The small scoop of ice cream on top was the piece de resistance. Tonight we were definitely in a “Vero Beach 5 star restaurant”. Great ambiance, excellent service and fantastic food. Mason Martinique is back on our dining list!
Intimate and relaxing dinning atmosphere. The food was carefully prepared and tastefully plated. Jeff, our server, was very pleasant and attentive. We will be coming back soon!
We stopped in at Maison Martinique three times during this week’s vacation: for dinner, cocktails, and happy hour. Each time we enjoyed impeccable service and Vero’s best cuisine. Highly recommend the seafood bisque, pork chop, steak, and cheese board. The vibe by the pool is just so relaxing: a perfect place to unwind with a nice glass of wine. This is our second year of making Maison Martinique part of our vacation routine and we look forward to many return visits
My oldest daughter had the scramble eggs with home fries, bacon, and wheat toast. My youngest daughter had the waffle, and I had the pancakes with bacon and home fries. It was very good. Orange juice was fresh, the service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful as well.
Incredible! The food here is absolutely top notch, classy, flavorful. Chef definitely knows his way around the kitchen. Colleen runs the front of house and does an incredible job. All the staff is very attentive and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is really great, quiet, and classy. All in all this is our favorite go to. Highly recommend.
That was for sure the best Dinner, and value for money, we got in out 10 days trip in Florida. Fresh fish and ingredients at its best. Fine dining for real Spinach salad was great. Mahi very tasty with a taste firework Seafood pasta amazing Service was super friendly and perfect And the bill surprisingly doesn’t kill you (they don’t even fool you with drinks or side dishes (like the warm bread with herb butter)... 100%
Incredible meal and ambiance. Staff was amazing!..The menu is excellent..We got crepes.
The French onion soup and carrot cake were amazing. Fresh catch was excellent too.
The three most expensive restaurants in our area include this one. The dining room is beautiful and romantic. The service is very good. This restaurant has for years been up and down food wise and it's up now. We like the Thursday night special, which a lobster tail and 2 small steak bites plus appetizer and salad for $35 each. We had the same meal tonight and it was a bit more expensive
The food was delicious and the attention to detail and quality of service from both our waiter and the owner was outstanding. We really enjoyed our visit. Update we went the next morning for breakfast at the Creperie, and it was equally good and the service again was outstanding. Will return for sure.
I loved this place! Crepes are amazing!!!! Fantantic customer service, in a round, well decorated restaurant. 🤩🥰
Beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant with an authentic French feel. Best crepes in Vero.
A charming hidden gem in Vero. Small menu but excellent food! Staff and servers are great and attentive.
If I could sum Maison Martinique in one word it would be Amazing! The service was great, the food was fantastic, and the ambience screams eloquence. The prices are reasonable as well. This will be our new go to place for our northern family and friends because it exemplifies what living in paradise is all about. The first time was breakfast, and the next time will be either lunch or dinner. I definitely want to experience the full array of food on the menu.
Had a great dining experience last evening at Maison Martinique. This gem of a property in Vero Beach is a boutique themed resort and dining complex located away from the tourist and commerce area. Fantastic food - some of the best filet mignon I've had in years. My GF's meal was risotto with several types of mushrooms and octopus - which she loved. Service was as it should be - our wait person (Jeff) was attentive but not annoying. I had the chance to have a pleasant chat with one of the owners (Colleen). This is a great place to dine, especially if you are looking for a romantic atmosphere. Without a doubt, one of the finer dining establishments in Vero. Go and enjoy!
I just want to share my experience as a new Vero Beach resident with one of the local restaurants. My partner and I just bought a home here in Vero earlier this year and we love it here and have been excited to try out all the new places Vero has to offer. Last night we went on a date night to Maison Martinique and it left a real impression. The food, service, and staff were beyond expectations. I wish I had pictures to show but we were too focused on eating. Suffice to say the food was not only delicious but also beautifully plated and a lot more modern than I admit I was expecting. We had grilled artichokes and octopus with potatoes to start and the wild mushroom risotto and one of the many daily specials, a wild boar stew over polenta, as our mains - plus orange cake for dessert. We both tried some of everything and they were all prepared expertly and were just plain delicious. The octopus dish was the best I've personally had in a few years and we order it anytime we find it on a menu. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful and who I assume is the manager came and chatted with us as well. My partner and I dine out frequently, it's essentially one of our hobbies, and the comfortable and friendly atmosphere combined with the outrageously spot-on food really made an impression on me. Now I will say, the bill wasn't anything to laugh at but we felt it genuinely reflected the quality of food and service we received, and while we may not be able to afford to eat there on a regular basis I think it will definitely be at the top of our list for those special events that deserve a fancy meal. I don't normally leave public reviews like this but I felt like they really deserved it and I was a little shocked, especially after trying the food, to see our dining room practically empty on a Friday night. Maybe there are other dining areas we were unable to see that had more people but I can't stand the idea of such a local gem to go unappreciated.
I LOVE this restaurant!!! It's my favorite breakfast place, and dinner with piano bar! 🎹 I have a good time here and the waiters are fantastic! Everything I go there I end up getting the same waitpr which I love, because he is so great. I'm afraid I don't remember his name, shamefully. He is always professional and he is an honest person, a fantastic asset to this business. He is an African American young man, with so much class. He is such a great example of good character. 👍 👏 ❤️ He makes it so I want to go back
Best experience yet in Vero Beach. Stayed at the hotel, and breakfast was excellent. Staff and service exceptional.
I've been coming here for many, many years. The Creperie, in particular, is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Vero Beach. It can be pricey to eat there, but treat yourself at least once a month. You won't regret it. I bring all my out-of-state and foreign visitors there. Nary a complaint to date.
Thank you! We had a wonderful Saturday evening with friends. My pesto orecchiette was wonderful, the service from Tyler was excellent, and the venue was very charming. After dinner, we when upstairs for an after dinner drink and enjoyed out time at the piano bar. We had a great time and will be back!
What a beautiful and unique restaurant near the beach. Our server Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he even gave us a tour of the entire property. Dinner was delicious and the seafood cooked perfectly.
My wife and I came in with a close friend for our second visit and it was just as amazing as the first. We started with Gazpacho and French Onion soup, both incredible. I had the Seabass for my main and it was perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. We shared Cheesecake and Gelato for dessert, both delicious. Shoutout to our server for being super attentive and to a staff member I believe was named Corben (apologies if I got that wrong) for being incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and even walking us out to our car since it was dark and we were a little lost lol. Great service and outstanding food. Highly recommend!
We have been here several times. We loved it. This time we ever got a flighty server. We were there for my birthday. When we came we were greeted by very happy birthday. When it was come to the dessert my waiter totally forgot my birthday. I had to remind him several times to refill my drink. This has never happened here.
Unbelievably great food. We are always on the look out for new places to eat as we are new residents to Vero Beach from out of state. The scallops appetizer was the best scallops appetizer I have ever had and I have that a lot. For the main dish I had shrimp/scallop something (my apologies!), it’s been several days ago. I must say everything we all had was outstanding!! We WILL NOT be disappointed.
Three nights of amazing service, food, and ambiance. Whether it is The Creperie by day, Maison Martinique for Happy Hour from 4-7, the Sunset Menu from 5-7, or full blown fine dining, this place never disappoints. Oh, and then don’t forget to go upstairs for a nightcap at the piano bar, Havana Nights (full menu also served upstairs). I’ve been staying at the Caribbean Court about 10 years, and rarely go off property to eat. I love good food and a nice glass of wine, and I find both here. Colleen, and Dan co-owners (front of house and chef), are amazing, and Tyler, my waiter these past three nights, is completely wonderful. I’m already “collecting people,” to join me for my next visit in October! Thanks for the past three nights. See you soon!
Now, my mom and I are visiting from Miami. We must be spoiled, because we have not been very impressed with the food in Vero Beach. We found this little place and decided to give it a shot. We came for happy hour and sat outside by the pool, not very elegant but organized and cozy. I love that they play live music upstairs, which we unfortunately missed. Our waiter Tyler was out of this freaking world and totally took our experience to the next level. He was so kind, attentive, and continued to go out of his way for us. We got the artichoke- good, escargot, octopus, slider - great with French fries (the best!). The entrees seemed crazy expensive so we didn’t even get near them. The carrot cake was sooooo good and huge portions. They have $4 wine and beer on happy hour, the house Cabernet is spectacular. Would recommend to future visitors!! Tyler deserves a raise. The lady in the front seating us was also beyond kind and was the only person during our entire stay to offer my service dog water while we ate. Thank you all!!!!
Food ✔ Service ✔ Atmosphere ✔ and If there was an extra star I would give it! We love this place and come here to laugh and relax. The service staff were impeccable, with an attention to detail like no other. We never waited long for anything and the young man with the red hair was very professional and eager to make us happy with whatever we needed. We are already talking about when we can go back. Thank you so much for this experience and opportunity to REALLY enjoy the meaning of fine dinning.
Exquisite dining experience. We can highly recommend the Mediterranean salad, the unbelievable artichokes, the prime rib and the swordfish. Fabulous and knowledgeable service that is not pushy but elegant; wonderful warm room for fine dining, and very intimate. I cannot recommend it enough.
This is a really wonderful place. Just went there for my birthday. The food is of the highest quality. The servers are very knowledgeable. The only issue I could bring up would be to allow for some "non truffle" options. The desserts are huge by the way and very fresh - save some room. Cocktails prepared well. Would be nice to have an alcohol list at the table. Definitely will return.
We had a lovely intimate experience in the upstairs bar/ dining area. There are cozy round booths as well as tables and bar seating. Bottles of wine were half off on Sunday, so we enjoyed a nice Chardonnay with dinner
Had the best time here! Started downstairs in the lounge for Happy Hour. Travis took good care of us. HH menu fantastic! Loved the food. After we headed upstairs to piano bar. So much fun! Met some wonderful people. Anthony and Colleen were busting their butts working hard to keep up with the crowd. Loved it!!!
We had the chicken mushroom crepe and the smoked salmon crepe. Both were served with the lightest, smoothest "scrambled" eggs. The crepes were paper thin and delicious. The tarragon sauce that was served with the chicken mushroom was out of this world. Our waitress Nicole, was so sweet and very attentive. What a unique dining venue. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be returning.
After an excellent experience at breakfast we decided to pick a night for dinner. Arrived without reservation and we were greeted and seated promptly. The bamboo room is magnificent at night with its decorations and chandeliers, very romantic and intimate. Water and bread(just baked) brought to the table along with parsley infused butter. I ordered a martini which was the best(and dirtiest) i ever had prepared with blue cheese stuffed olives. The server asked what brand of vodka i preferred which was rare yet positive. We ordered the artichokes to start, my daughter had the prime rib(special dish of the night), my wife ordered the linguine fra diavolo and i had the pesto pasta with chicken. The carrot cake must be amazing since they run out of it pretty early and my wife "HAD" to get the chocolate cake instead. After the greatness of the dirtiest martinis i ordered an espresso martini which he rightfully prepared with Tia Maria instead of the creamy liqueurs that i don't enjoy much. The food was excellent, from the presentation to the portions and the flavors. The service was amazing, much likely to ask for Jason next time we come back. We had the opportunity to chat for a brief moment with Colleen(GM) who took the time of checking on us and explain details of the operation. So nice to see that owners and staff take so seriously their job and with so much pride for their establishment and job. Definitely a memorable moment, highly recommended and in our "coming back soon" list. The restaurant is part of a beautiful boutique hotel. We are seriously thinking about a couple's weekend out to have the opportunity to enjoy the hotel and the culinary experience. Thanks!
Originally called "Chez Yannick" as I used to bus tables here. Now 25 years later with new ownership it is still a wonderful place with great service & I highly recommend👍🏻
We had a delicious dinner at Maison Martinique! Love the piano bar atmosphere and there were wonderful musicians toward the end of our meal. Everyone raved about their meal and dessert. Ashley took great care of us and knew the menu inside and out. This place has a wonderful vibe and we were able to hear one another across the table. I had the delicious chicken Picatta which was not overly rich but had a lovely lemon flavor and the chicken was cooked to perfection.
I had the 8oz filet steak cooked perfectly medium rare, and wife ordered the pesto pasta with scallops, scallops where perfect, not chewy at all. We had bruschetta to share, The food was good, but to me given the price its not a great value. We skipped dessert as the cheesecake and other options looked store bought.
We had a birthday Lunch celebration and it was lovely service and for the most part delicious entrees. This was our second Lunch celebration in the last six weeks Myself and one of the other ladies ordered The Mediterranean salad with grilled shrimp . The shrimp was well prepared and tasty . The salad was lacking of volume and content. One would expect a much more substantial salad for a cost of 23.00. We have all had lovely dinners with our spouses in the past . I felt the need to suggest that you serve a more satisfying salad as a lunch entree. Otherwise wonderful service and delicious entrees. Thank you.. Jeanne Fernandez
Update 4/10/24- I never once complained nor talked to anyone besides our server. I definitely did not speak to a manager or owner. Not sure who the response below was meant for, but they also must of had a similar experience. I was sitting at a rectangular table. What an interesting experience… As I pulled out my chair, and it bumped into a walker, I knew I was in for quite the evening. The dining room was circular, and the sound echoed off of every wall. The tables were so wide, probably to accommodate wheelchairs, that I could barely hear my fiancé talk. The artichoke appetizer was good, the Tito's and old fashions were just average. The risotto (truffle) lacked any truffle flavor. The seafood dish had overcooked noodles and seafood (besides the scallops that were cooked well). $200 before tip, with two drinks per person, I'd probably have to say pass. Do better.
Based on seeing the beautiful post on Google with a great photo and detailed description of a full traditional Thanksgiving Dinner we happily booked our reservation. Unfortunately, while the staff was kind & courteous the meal did not meet the advertised expectation. Specifically, there was no stuffing at all nor any cranberry sauce. Two items that were advertised and are synonymous with a Thanksgiving dinner. The gravy was sparce. Also, the advertised meal suggests that dessert of some kind might be included. This was not the case. Lastly, the meal came out closer to cold than hot. When we mentioned this to our server, he apologized and said he would offer an after dinner drink as a courtesy, that didn't happen. Clearly we are disappointed. We normally love both restaurants above & below and it's because we admire, respect & appreciate the owner that we felt it important to share our disappointment.
Title: Havana Nights? More Like “Where’s the Theme?” Nights. We came for Havana Nights—you know, sultry vibes, maybe a little salsa music, some Cuban flavors, a cigar or two in the air (or at least on the menu). What we got was… well, not that. Let me start with a compliment: the place is super cute. We’ve been here before and genuinely enjoyed it. But tonight? Tonight felt like they googled “Havana” five minutes before the event and gave up halfway through. I ordered the Beef Wellington, expecting, you know, beef… maybe even a Wellington. Instead, I got three lonely meatballs doing their best impression of fine dining, infused with what I can only assume was the ghost of a beet. For $42, I expected to be wowed—or at least full. I was neither. Also, unless Havana has recently been rebranded to “Random Expensive Night With Zero Theme,” I’m not sure what exactly we attended. The vibe was generic, the food was confused, and the final bill—nearly $100 per person without cocktails—was the only thing that truly took my breath away. We wanted Cuba. We got cafeteria chic.
The food was absolutely tasteless. We tasted 5 different appetizers and 4 entrees and there was 1 appetizer and 1 side dish that were decent, not even great. All else - blah. The worst was the escargot - cold, rubber pieces. Most food was cold and unfortunately just bland. The positive of the night - Jeff our waiter and the young man who was helping him out with the red hair. Jeff knew his menu, did not rush and was pleasant. I can’t see myself visiting again for some time. They definitely need some help.
Good food and service, but the way the restaurant is managed is just baffling. My husband and I made a Valentine’s Day reservation a month in advance. The restaurant was very busy and we were put at a little table in the upstairs piano bar with very uncomfortable plastic deck chairs. Our table was right by the said piano bar piano, which remained unplayed while a singer was basically singing karaoke to music from her laptop. Her singing was good, but it was impossible to have a conversation right next to it. It took over half an hour for our drinks to arrive (the solo bartender simply had no chance to keep up) and we finally got them after the appetizers arrived. By the time we got our entrees all we wanted was to eat fast and get out of there and go for a drink somewhere where we could actually have a date. Our server was wonderful and did all he could, but the way the night was managed was ridiculous.
I made reservations to celebrate my 5 year wedding anniversary with my husband a few days ago. We arrived and were greeted with exceptional graciousness by the professional wait staff. As we sat down, we placed our drink and food orders, anticipating a high quality experience. As we were enjoying the delicious meal, some woman by the name of Colleen approached our table. At first we were delighted to meet her, as she is the owner of the restaurant. However, after 10 minutes of conversation, I found it rather frustrating trying to savor the $50 filet I ordered, while this woman was talking our ears off. I told her I lived in Boston for a few years and that led to a perpetual long-winded story time about how she is from New England. I understand as an owner, it is important to engage with the customers, but she was rather tone deaf on reading the room. I really wish I could have celebrated this special day with my husband without uninvited interruptions. She also eluded to the fact that we should not support their sister company restaurant, Cooper's. Cooper's is one of my favorite restaurants and not only did it put a bad taste in my mouth, but by this time my food was cold. I don't appreciate hearing negative commentary about her business partner's more successful restaurant.
