Excellent food and the Bottomless Whatevers (Mimosas, Bloody Mary's, wine, Aperol Spritz) are a great deal. Carlos was very attentive and a wonderful server
Great addition to the Vero area! Food was so yummy and filling. We had the steak (my favorite), salmon and shrimp skewers - all came out fresh and delicious! We also had the pretzel bites with beer cheese - so good! Also please try the churro spring rolls - delicious. The drinks are so unique and yummy also. This place doesn’t disappoint!
Hands down my number one go to spot in Vero! I've been many times and every visit the service food and atmosphere is always top notch. Michelle is the best bartender in Vero! If you're a bar hopper and can appreciate great service genuine smiles and conversation and even better drinks Michelle delivers every time! I'm usually in for drinks and music but I finally tried their classic smash burger with waffle fries and I must say the burger is the best I've had around the fries tasted like they were made in house they were delicious. I myself work in the food and beverage industry and it's hard to be impressed when out dining however the curfew never lets me down and I always leave satisfied! Thank you Michelle and all of the staff for all you do to keep that consistent service as the standard! See you soon!!!
Friend suggested. Absolutely amazing. Short rib tacos, out of this world. Mac and cheese, (make sure you add short rib, you'll thank me) probably the best I've had since my mom's homemade Mac. Definitely recommend. Bartenders are amazing, Michelle and Mike both on point with their old fashions. Michelle won me over with a tequila espresso martini. Best I've ever had.
I got the fried rice with the salmon. It was Soo good, I got the pink flamingo drink with tajin on the rim. Delicious! The server was so sweet and engaging.
Had a fabulous time at curfew in Vero Beach, Florida! Wonderful service from KC, very fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food and the drinks were excellent and not overpriced. Excellent happy hour vibe!
The bartenders can make any drink you ask for. The wait staff are courteous and attentive. The tapas Menu offers something for everyone. The Mac-n-Cheese, angel hair croquettes, and steak skewers were excellent. Highly recommend!
Came in for the UCF game and honestly wasn’t expecting the food to smack this hard, but here we are. Curfew delivered. Started with the edamame hummus and it was wild in the best way. Smoky, creamy, and plated with carrot “petals” that looked cool, but definitely needed more of them because they hid a whole secret layer of hummus underneath. I ended up asking for extra bread like a responsible adult. No regrets. For my main I got the Curfew Bowl with chicken and it was legit perfect. The cilantro lime rice, the charred corn, the sweet plantains, the avocado sauce, the jalapeños… everything worked together. It’s one of those dishes that’s comforting but still light enough that you don’t feel like you swallowed a bowling ball. Huge portion too. Service was great. My server was on point and even brought out a frosted bottle of water like I was dining in Valhalla. And shoutout to the five dollar beers today. A blessing. Solid spot for food, drinks, and watching a game. I’ll definitely be back.
The chicken teriyaki tacos (I 86’d the tortillas) took me back to my childhood! The best flavor! 🌮 The shrimp ceviche, holy 🍤! 😳Exactly what you ask for! (I ate some before taking pics) Bartender was great as well, we’ll be back for sure! 🍻 Husband loved his 🍔 & 🍗, no photos, he eats too quick. 🤣
We came here for an early dinner with friends and had a wonderful time. We were seated right away and our server took great care of us. The food was tasty and the environment was a mix between a nightlife vibe and a cozy diner. We all loved it here and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to get together with friends and have a bite.
Curfew is one of those rare spots where you can immediately tell there’s a real chef in the kitchen. The food is always freshly prepared, creative, and consistently excellent. Every visit brings something unique, but the short rib rangoon is an absolute must-have — unforgettable and perfectly executed. Easily one of the standout restaurants in Vero Beach.
My best friend and I were going to a show at the Emerson Center, and figured we would find a place to get a bite to eat before the show. WOW! I live in Melbourne Beach and jokingly said why haven't we ever been here before??!! Our server, Casey, was very friendly and informative about the menu. If she was getting off shift soon we would have asked her to pull up a chair. All her recommendations were spot-on, and I did not take pictures because I was really hungry 😜 she warned us to make room for dessert... The bread pudding with ice cream and homemade chocolate and caramel sauce was simply to die for. Naturally we got to talking about dogs as Casey told us there was a Dog menu and any dog that comes to the patio gets their picture taken! Rest assured my 2 hospice therapy dogs definitely deserve to eat at a restaurant with their own menu. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience, and I can't wait to go back.
The food is really outstanding! And chef Red is a true artist (I am starting a fan club for him.. Just call me, Madam President… You think I’m joking ..huh I begged a difference. I know good food.) Every dish we tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest the Cuban empanadas and Short rib wontons !! Hands down, some of the most delicious food I've eaten in vero beach ever!!! We were celebrating my birthday And he was gracious to treat us to homemade pineapple sorbet And fried cheesecake Sticks (?) . Our waiter was funny And attentive. We stayed longer than expected because we were having such a good time. Even the owner was gracious And came to our table to wish me happy birthday and to share with us about their journey in the Vero beach food scene. Please visit them soon and tell them your friend Mitzy send you 🙌🏻🙌🏻
A must visit with delicious Tapas style to share or full meals. Go hungry, you'll want to try it all! Exceptional drink options with large bar as well as separate dining.
We celebrated my wife's birthday at Curfew last night. Appetizers, entrees and drinks were great. Our server Casey was excellent! Made a special occasion memorable for the dozen of us. Thanks!
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Vero Beach, look no further than Restaurant Curfew! From the moment you step inside, the vibrant atmosphere and welcoming staff set the tone for an epic night out. Mike, the bartender, truly elevated our experience with his friendly demeanor and expert mixology skills. Every drink he crafted was not only strong but also bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing our meal. His recommendations were spot on, making it hard to choose just one favorite! Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely delicious! Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and bold flavors that left us craving more. Whether you’re a fan of seafood, steak, or vegetarian options, there’s something to tantalize every palate. The combination of Mike’s fantastic service and the delightful menu made our evening truly special. If you find yourself in Vero Beach, Restaurant Curfew is a must-visit for an amazing meal and unforgettable drinks! Cheers to a great night out!
Stopped here as one of the stops on a Halloween bar crawl about 2 weeks ago and had to come back. Great food, great service. Great drinks, creative menu and dishes. Great atmosphere, great music playing. Nothing but good things to say about this place. This will definitely be a new regular spot
What a fun inspired menu!! We went during Happy Hour. The HH Cheesy Angel Hair Croquettes were light and crispy on the outside with a super gooey cheesy center. They were like the best mac & cheese balls! The HH Potato Puffs were a fun way to eat mashed potatoes, also with a light crispy breading and filled with scallions and gooey cheese. The Sriracha Creme Fraiche was refreshing with them (not spicy at all - more like a fluffy sour cream). The HH Crispy Spinach was such a fun surprise! Super light and they melt in your mouth with salty bites of parmesan cheese. So fun! I love that my Caesar Salad had fried green tomatoes for croutons! The Crab and Artichoke Dip was so decadent and creamy. And for dessert they gave us complimentary churro cheesecake spring rolls for my hubby's bday! I asked for extra caramel. They were so creamy and crispy - not too sweet, just the perfect amount. I wanted to get the Southern Smash Burger but we were so stuffed, it will have to wait until next time, which will be very soon....we can't wait to go back! So many fun dishes to try! And our server, "Fox" was excellent, super attentive, fun, and friendly.
Came in at 815pm on a Thursday. Restaurant was sparsely packed, very clean, tidy, and the bar was VERY stocked. We sat on the low-top, Florida Room side. The food, (surf and turf skewers,) were delicious. The steak was cooked and perfect M/R and the shrimp had a nice, spicy bite to them, (see pics.) The price was steep for the amount of food received, but hey, that's pretty much anywhere these days. Our server, Irama, was super nice and professional. Overall, a very good experience for our first time here. 10/10 would recommend.
If I could leave 100 stars I would. I live in Fort Lauderdale and we drive to eat here after finding it one night randomly in the area. The food is 100/10. One of the best meals hands down and we eat out a lot in Fort Lauderdale & Miami. Every time we come I am wowed even more. Incredible! Our usual order is meatballs w/ polenta, angel hair croquettes, mayo ginger wings, the short rib tacos are fire, the cheesecake rollups desserts are insane! We can't say enough good things. If you haven't been trust me gooo!!! I didn't take pictures of everything hut omg just trust me.
We made reservations online and we arrived early. Our table was ready because the restaurant was nearly empty. Thank goodness we reserved, because 30 minutes later they were full. Cassandra was our server. She was wonderful. But every staff member who passed by checked on us, too. Most menu items are meant to be shared, but were actually perfect portion sizes for us. I ordered a handheld, ate 1/4 of it there, shared the rest for lunch today! He had burrato beet salad and wants me to tell everyone how great it was. And he said the same about the steak skewers. He was most pleased with the Mahi appetizer. I tasted the Mahi and really liked it (and I don't care for fish very much). I didn't care for the burrata as much as he did. I like more flavor. But the marsala sauce with the steak had great flavor! And the little "flowerettes" of basil (foam), I could enjoy on a daily basis and not get tired of them! We were too full for dessert. The few changes I would make...I should have asked the burger not to be too well-done. Mine was nearly perfect except for a few 'crispy burnt ends'. Some people like them, just not me. There were only a few though! The other change would be the rug beneath our table. It was obviously a non-slip runner, but my chair made it buckle and I stumbled twice. Didn't fall, and meant to bring it to Cassandra's attention, but forgot. Moving the chair in and out caused it to get a buckle and only was a problem when I went to the (only) bathroom and when leaving. But everything was truly delightful. We finished our evening with a walk around downtown looking at the beautiful historic buildings!
A very chill place! Our server, Casey, was super sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our food was yummy. The sweet plantains were amazing. I could have eaten an entire bowl of just those and been happy. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for a fun evening.
A hip bar in Vero Beach. It's definitely one of the best bars in Vero Beach, FL. The crowd is upscale, but not snobby. Service is professional, and this is one of the few places offering late night food in Vero Beach. Just because it's open late doesn't mean the food is just late night food. It's gourmet quality. I had the southern smash burger and it was definitely the most flavorful burger in Vero Beach. Maybe the best burger in Vero Beach, but not the cheapest. Compared to some other burgers, it's still a good value. The standard side is waffle fries but they offer a side salad as well. Come here for good food, or to meet friends. Also, a good place for a date in Vero Beach, and one of the best singles bars in Vero Beach. What are you waiting for? Even if it's late, come out to Curfew tonight! See you there
Went to the newest gem in downtown Vero Beach for Thanksgiving. Though not on their normal menu they offered an amazing Turkey dinner that was perfect. Edamame & corn succotash was a unique side that speaks to their creativity. Their focus will be small bites and craft cocktails. They truly shine in this area. The "small" bites could be a meal. The thought and passion that went in to their menu is clear. Same with the cocktails. Irama was our server and I will absolutely request her when I go back soon. I had the pleasure to meet the owners Tia & Deb. Their passion was clear and heart warming. The community is lucky to have them and I am grateful they have elevated downtown Vero!
Tried a variety of things and everything was delicious! Really enjoyed the fried rice and the skewers. My favorite drink was the “I’ll only have one” but I didn’t actually end up only getting one if that tells you anything! The tables are small and a lot of people go for dinner. We had to wait 30 minutes to get seated when we arrived at 7. Since it’s such a small place it gets really loud inside but they have outdoor seating as well. It is pretty expensive but you get good quality. I would go back!
My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try and we fell in love with it. The food is phenomenal, the 8oz steak is the best steak you will ever have, melts in your mouth. The only thing better than the steak was the dessert which was an apple dish with bourbon and had ice cream on the side.
What a great addition to downtown Vero nightlife! When I walked into Curfew, the lively atmosphere immediately caught my attention. The big bar, visible from the street, promised a great time. Manny, our bartender, stood out with his warmth and skill. The menu, with its vintage tiki illustrations, offered visually appealing and delicious cocktails like "Spring Training" and "I'm Only Having One." The restaurant offers two distinct spaces: a cozy dining area perfect for an intimate meal and a vibrant bar area with high-top tables. Our server Cassie welcomed us warmly to the dining side, where the ambiance, enhanced by family photos and an eye-catching heron painting, felt both homey and elegant. At Curfew, the food was an amazing mix of tastes. The mussels, soaked in a smooth marinara sauce, were soft and delicious. They came with crispy, buttery bread that was the perfect match. While I found the peppers delightful, Dave remarked he "actually wanted a little more char on those peppers." The crab artichoke dip was, in his words, "banging!!" The spinach stood out for its lightness and flavor, melting in the mouth in a way that redefines what spinach can be. The truffle fries, dipped into an assortment of aiolis that accompanied the kebabs, were an unexpected joy. The steak skewers, marinated to sweet, tangy perfection, were incredibly juicy. Even though the shrimp skewers were slightly overcooked, their flavor profile and sauce were still noteworthy. The meal's crescendo was the desserts, which, as Dave described, were "the exclamation mark to a food orchestra that played in our mouths all night long." The crunchy, cheesy pasta balls were a treat, and the pineapple ice cream was simply stunning. Curfew isn't just a dining venue; it's a sensory delight that beckons you back for more.
We had 4 shareable's and 3 cocktails. Bill was $100 including tip. Pricing was consistent with location. Quality of food and drinks etc. The service was top notch. Very good experience. We will be back
My husband and I have been to Curfew a few times and have never been disappointed!! Casey is the best server and she always makes our experience so lovely. Go see her!!!
We had an amazing time at curfew. The low top area was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We had the pleasure of being served by Joe- super funny, bubbly, and full of personality He made the whole experience more enjoyable. The food was fantastic you have to try the potato puffs and the Bourbon bread dessert! Overall we had a great experience and will be back!
Food was great. KC was amazing server. She is a rockstar!! Will definitely come back!
Casey was AMAZING!! It was our first visit and we will be back. I am very hard to please and the short rib rangoons we very much enjoyed. The cheese cake churro was also awesome. Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful place for tapas! We tried the PEI mussels in a white wine basil cream sauce, edamame hummus, pickle fries, smoked chicken wings, and fried rice. At Skyler's suggestion we tried the bread pudding for dessert. What a disappointment it would have been to have missed it. It was delicious!! Great experience! I would recommend eating outside as it's rather noisy inside, only downside.
We have been to the Curfew a number of times in the last year, but I have not submitted a review, however this is one restaurant which deserves a quality review. I attended Curfew with my wife on Wednesday night and we sat at the bar. The bar tender was friendly and very helpful. I am a vegetarian and the mere caters for all tastes with a good selection for vegetarians. The atmosphere was awesome and we had a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend the restaurant.
Food was to die for. The surf and turf skewers were an impressive explosion of flavors and juicy deliciousness all in one. The Caesar salad was a unique and refreshing twist topped with fried green tomatoes chopped up into crouton sized pieces. The teriyaki topped hibachi style fried rice was a must have bursting with flavor and tender juicy chicken. The teriyaki chicken tacos were uniquely crafted with charred flour shells and a very fresh and light pineapple pico. We were full but had to try the dessert because so far, everything that had been ordered was devoured with nothing left but fork marks on the plates. Holy moly- the bread pudding and homemade dulce de leche ice cream is the best I've ever had, the combination of flavors and textures are perfectly balanced in a happily ever after marriage type of situation on a plate. The food was a 10/10, the service was a 10/10, and we will be back within a few weeks, I don't think we can stay away! It's one of those places that has you looking at the menu to contemplate what you might want to order next time you visit! Hands down- this is one of the best restaurants in Vero Beach! It's in my top 3!
On a quiet Tuesday night (our anniversary) we stopped in for happy hour before a dinner reservation at a different restaurant (a fancy pants place since it was a special occasion). Well, plans changed. We we're enjoying ourselves so much at Curfew that we cancelled our reservations and stayed! Easily a 10/10 decision. The menu is incredible, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is so fun! Our server Casey was amazing, she had spot on recommendations and made us feel right at home. I cannot say enough about the food, literally everything we had was incredible! Don't miss this spot! We're so happy we cancelled our other reservations and stayed at Curfew. We will absolutely be back again and again!
My Wife and I love finding new, interesting restaurants. Yesterday, we struck gold! We were out cruising the Vero Beach craft show with our Daughter, her Husband and their 7 week old Daughter and found ourselves looking for food mid-afternoon in Vero. I had read about Curfew a couple weeks before and wanted to check it out. Honestly, I knew we found a great place as soon as their young host met us out front and noticing our stroller, directed us to their dining room on the opposite side of the restaurant from the bar. It was empty, beautiful, and calm, other than a great playlist playing on their sound system. We really appreciated such a thoughtful touch! Things only got better from there! Our server, Casey greeted us quickly and her personality instantly won us over. Next up was the menu. We honestly had a hard time choosing what we wanted. So many interesting options! Then, the drink menu. Wow! Somebody really creative made that menu! Our drinks and food came quickly, were beautifully plated, and were incredibly tasty! After we finished, Casey talked us into trying one of their desserts. We all shared the bread pudding. AMAZING! Absolutely the best restaurant we have found in Vero. We live 45mins away but will absolutely be coming back to work our way through the menu! This is a hidden gem, that will certainly draw people to Vero.
I’m still in this restaurant and I could not wait to write a review. My husband and I had passed this place a few times while in the area and decided it was finally time to try! And we should’ve come in sooner! To start we were offered a high top or the dining area. We sat in the high top area since we were stopping for just a snack and the atmosphere was so nice. Our server, Jorge, was very kind and diligent with serving us and checking in. He was explained the menu and the drinks and welcomed us for our first visit. (Which definitely won’t be our last). After a few minutes of browsing our server returned and we placed our order. He let us know that the food might come out staggered as they don’t like to have food sit and wait for the other parts of the order to be finished. Which we didn’t mind because everything was delicious and tasted as fresh as he described. We had the deviled eggs, mahi bites, and mussels with the white wine sauce. And wow. The freshness of the food was out of this world! The mussels were the best we’ve had in Vero. The drinks are also just as good as the food. We tried the Pink Flamingo and Over the Wall. The Pink Flamingo was the epitome of refreshing and fruity, while the Over The Wall was perfectly balanced between sweetness and a tone of spicy. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning to try more of their menu and enjoy the atmosphere. Stop by when you can!
Absolutely loved my experience here! The atmosphere was fantastic, the cocktails were top-notch, and the food was incredible. The pickle fries with dipping sauce were a perfect flavor combo, and the smash burger was nothing short of phenomenal. The short rib fried rice was also a winner. This place has easily become one of my top two favorite restaurants in Vero Beach.
Great tapas restaurant. We tried multiple items from the menu. First, we had the cheesy angel hair croquettes, which were recommended by our server. They were good; it's their version of fried mac and cheese balls. Then we had their Caesar salad, which lacked dressing, and the fried green tomato croutons were so thin that you could tell they were fried green tomatoes. The steak skewers were my favorite dish; the chimichurri sauce and the bread were delicious. The short rib tacos were also good, with a nice portion of meat and flavor. Then we ordered the fried rice with short rib. I must say, it tasted more like Mexican rice mixed with paella than fried rice. It had corn, and the rice was in a tomato sauce, not the Asian flavors and ingredients you would expect in regular fried rice. Overall, it was good, but one thing to note is that the drinks were a little pricey for Vero Beach, with most drinks priced at $19 or more.
Carolann provided exceptional service as our waitress, guiding us through the menu and ensuring a seamless dining experience. We began with drinks and shared appetizers, followed by a delightful feast. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service was truly remarkable. We were seated outdoors, enjoying a perfect evening ambiance. The only minor inconvenience was the limited parking availability, but once we secured a spot, our experience was flawless.
Good restaurant on casual side. We got potato puffs for app and I got the southern burger. Wife got the short ribs entree. Both were very good. Finished with key lime pie. Recommend this place.
We had the pleasure of enjoying their soft opening and let us tell you it did not disappoint! The ginger apricot wings are delicious and fall right off the bone! The teriyaki fried rice had a lot of flavor especially the chicken itself! Service, food & ambiance were on point! Debbie the owner is a joy! She went around and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and their food!
If you're ever in Vero Beach, The Curfew is an absolute must-stop. The smash burger itself is perfectly cooked with a crispy, flavorful sear on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The combination of fresh toppings and their pimento cheese sauce elevates the whole experience. Whether you prefer classic cheese or something a bit more adventurous, every option is packed with bold flavors that leave you wanting more. The vibe of The Curfew adds to its charm — it’s laid-back, welcoming, and the kind of place where you can kick back and enjoy a meal with friends. It’s rare to find a burger this good, so if you're in Vero, don't miss it. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that’ll keep you coming back for more!
Food was good. Best was the fried spinach leaves. This was excellent and light start. Burger was good but a little to salty. Cocktail was balanced and flavorful.
We tried this place last night as we were downtown and looking for something a little different. The staff was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Most of the food was really, really good. Mac and cheese was out of this world.... One challenge we had was with the steak skewers my daughter ordered (7yrs old). They were so salty, she looked at us and said something is wrong with this... I tried, and yep, I couldn't get the taste of salt out of my mouth for the whole night. The waitress took care of it immediately, and the chef acknowledged and said he was so appreciative of the feedback... Will definitely be back...
Nice place in downtown Vero Beach. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great. If your looking for a cool bar to hang out this is your place. If your looking for exceptional food there are many more options. Food was over priced for the size of the portions and way too much salt was used.
Food was mediocre at best. The buerre Blanc sauce on crab stuffed shrimp tasted like pure butter. Disappointed that they didn't have guava for the over the wall drink. I know they opened on the 22nd, so I would probably give them another 6 months of maturing.
When we first walked into Curfew the place was empty, which gave it a bit of an odd vibe considering the hype and reviews we’d seen. That said, our server was fantastic. He was entertaining, super knowledgeable about the menu, and really helped carry the experience from a service standpoint. No complaints there. As for the food, it was a mixed bag. I had the scallops, which seemed like imitation or surimi scallops. The texture and strong fishy taste, along with the way they were cooked, made them come across as pre-frozen. Not horrible, but definitely not what we expected—especially for the price. The standout on that plate, however, was the avocado sauce. That was excellent. The mashed potatoes that came with it were unfortunately cold, very salty, and overall subpar. Definitely didn’t meet our expectations, especially at this price point. On the brighter side, my partner had the teriyaki chicken tacos, and those were delicious—well balanced, flavorful, and easily the highlight of their meal. We shared the Sacchettini, which ended up being my personal favorite. Rich, tasty, and well-prepared—it felt like the one truly standout dish of the evening. We also tried the puffed potatoes, which were basically mashed potato balls that had been fried. The concept was fun, but unfortunately, they came out cold in the middle and tasted like something frozen that had just been reheated. We split an Almond Joy cocktail, and I’ve got to say—it was delicious. No complaints at all on the drink front. All in all, the service was great and a few items were enjoyable, but most of the food just didn’t live up to the ratings or the prices. We went in with high expectations, but left feeling like a lot of what we were served could’ve come from a freezer and not a kitchen focused on fresh, elevated food. For the cost, we expected more. I would love to try some other things from their menu but the price is just not worth it.
The restaurant was not busy which should have been a warning on a Thursday evening during the height of the season. Small plates came all at once, memorable for their salt content and uninspired presentation. A clear case of a slow, over anxious kitchen setting the pace for the dining room. I cannot recommend Curfew.
