Went to dinner w family was a lovely time. Tina was a fabulous! She was helpful w our first time hear w ordering. She was patient and kind excellent server. She let us have plenty of time between our courses. The food was so very good. Escargot was buttery and perfect amount of garlic. We have bottle of red wine, goat cheese salads, lobster raviolis, Beef Bourguignon . We were to full for dessert but they sound amazing. Wonderful place would recommend if you want high quality all the way around. Anniversary, Special Occasions, Romantic, and or want to impress… This is your place won’t disappoint for sure big menu.
Wonderful experience Very attentive server names Harrison who ensured that we thoroughly enjoyed our dining evening. The drinks were tasty and refreshing. The meals that were brought to our table were exquisite. We left fully satin after the chef/owner came to our table and chatted a bit. We’ll always will visit when in Vero Beach
Lovely dining experience. Excellent service, not too loud, well seasoned and plated. Good portions for the price. Large wine and drink menu. Nice place for out of town foodies who are used to NY or LA standards.
This place is killer and our waitress was so kind. Atmosphere fantastic. 10/10 recommend, I am leaving this place so stuffed & happy. The staff goes above and beyond and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed my boyfriends birthday dinner here because we enjoy it so much.
This is one of the best restaurants in Vero Beach. One of the best polish, italian foods I ever had. The owner is a very chilled person. When I told her that I have tried perogies from elsewhere in Vero, she told outright "TRY HERE AND YOU WILL COME BACK FOR THOSE". I was sceptical at first, but the perogies were otherworldly. I have some vague pictures of food we had, the vagueness is due to my attention towards consumption 😀. I have tried grilled octopus, lobster ravioli, perogies and a lemon dessert. Everyone should try and see these awesome dishes. The location is very quite and serene. 5 ⭐. Thank you Dr.. Darrell for introducing this amazing place.
What a wonderful experience! We visit Vero often but hadn’t ever eaten here! I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere is very welcoming, the wait staff is super fun and the food is excellent! We’ll be back for sure!
This food at this restaurant is the star, but I also loved our server and the quiet ambiance. We started with the complimentary pasta fagioli and delicious bread. We shared the goat cheese salad (oh my!) which they split for us and it was plenty! The seared scallops that I had (from Maine) with spinach risotto was perfectly cooked and a beautiful presentation.my friend had the duck a la orange and said it was the best he’d ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Cute little French fine dining restaurant with such amazing perfectly cooked cuisine ! The steaks are like butter and everything I’ve tasted is worth every penny . Great service and the chef /owner definitely knows how to make the best / fresh tasting food . Love to bring friends and family here . Hannah does a great job taking care of me when I come in . Frenchie the chef and owner is very personable and greets his guests sometime and checks in , Will dine in again !
One of our favorite places in Vero Beach. Always good food. Look out for special pricing, especially for early dining
We came to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. The service was incredible and the food was simply amazing! If you are anywhere near Vero Beach, you need to come here. The chef even surprised us with a crepe Suzette!
From the service to the food everything was exceptionally good. We live an hour away but we'll be back soon. Highly recommend
5stars is not enough 🤗 had our anniversary yesterday & couldn’t pick a better place to celebrate 🎉 from start up to finish-escargots-Tatar & topped with pompano in chef Jean signature sos , culinary heaven -thank you all for a great evening
Christmas day dinner was Steak at DiMars. The steak was the best I have had in Vero in the last year. Our server was Kendal and she was excellent. I am sure I'll be back again in the next few weeks.
The food alone was 5 stars but on top of that my waitress Alex was my favorite waitress of all time. Her shining personality and thoughtful recommendations really made my night.
The food was fabulous & our server Micheal did a fantastic job!
We attended a friend’s birthday party, excellent service and atmosphere with great food and drinks.
We’ve dined here many times, and each visit is better than the last. The owner-chef and staff clearly take pride in sourcing only the best ingredients and highest quality meats and it shows in every delicious bite. Tonight, we had the best pork chop of our lives which was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly tender. The lobster bisque was rich, creamy, and loaded with lobster, best in my life. The filet mignon was melt-in-your-mouth tender and seasoned to perfection. Portions are generous, and we almost always leave with to-go boxes. Their crème brûlée is the perfect ending to any meal, silky smooth with a perfectly caramelized top. What sets Frenchies apart, besides the amazing food, is the passionate and friendly staff, always attentive and welcoming. It is like dining in Europe, an experience. We love how they keep the menu fresh with seasonal specials and new creations. If you want an exceptional dining experience and head straight to Frenchies. You won’t be disappointed!
This was a first visit. It's hard to judge what others might experience, as it was rather slow when we arrived. Parking was easy, right out front. No steps to navigate, Upon entering, we were shown immediately to a table.(we had a reservation, which didn't matter this time). There were two menus, one was for the patio, the other for more upscale dining inside(where we were). While the menu was not extensive, there were several tempting dishes, and we were able to find something tasty. I decided to try a dish I'd never had, beef bourguignon, and it was delicious! Hubby enjoyed his dish(some pasta with short ribs). The bread was something french, I'm guessing. We didn't love it but since the bread was not our focus, that was ok. We sat by the window but could not see out over the border that ran the whole length of the restaurant. The view would have been the patio, but it looked charming once we stood up to leave. The chef came out to see if we were happy with the food(we were), I thought that was nice. Our server was very sweet and eager to please, explaining the things we had questions about. I'm sure we'll be back. I hope it gets busy so they can stay open!
Food and Service was outstanding. Everything was cooked the exact way you wanted it. From Appetizers to Dessert, the food was Impeccable. The wait staff including Hannah, were the most professional, and personable. They made the dining experience at the restaurant exceptional. Even Chef Frenchie came around to say hello. We are so happy that we had opportunity to try this restaurant. We look forward to the next time
Thank you Danielle & chef for putting together a rather large to go order for me in the span of an hour. Food is superb, customer service even better! Can tell Danielle truly cares about her job as someone who has been in the industry for over 20 years. Thanks friends!
This is a beautiful fine dining restaurant iclose to the beach. Frenchie greeted us when we arrived and offered suggestions for our anniversary dinner. My husband had the pate de foie gras and I had the Brie as starters. The foie was amazing and Brie was delicious. Next we had the French onion soup and Caesar salad. Both were excellent especially the Caesar dressing. My husband had the veal with Roquefort sauce which he loved and I had the bolognese which was delicious. We finished with espresso and crème brûlée which was a perfect end to a delightful dinning experience. Our server was so nice and the bread and olive tapenade was to die for! I highly recommend Frenchie’s. It is worth every penny and then some.
We visited for the first time tonight, and our food was delicious and full of flavor. Our service was absolutely top-of-the line! Our server was Michael, and he was absolutely wonderful! He was efficient, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and fast! We came for dinner and left with a friend! We 10/10 recommend!
We came for birthday dinner on a Wednesday at 5pm. 4 of us. We had a wonderful experience; the food was excellent and the waitress was exceptional. The chef came out to check on us too, which was so nice! We had ribeyes, brisket, salmon, filet minion, lobster, mushrooms, French onion soup, baked Brie, escargot, wine, coffee, and bread pudding for dessert. Everything tasted so good, and I am picky with my steak and French onion soup. Highly recommend!! Will be back.
First time eating here and the food is excellent. The escargot was the best I have ever had and the seafood risotto was divine. Our waitress was very friendly, as was the whole staff. We will definitely be back.
Coming from Manhattan - this is divine. If you want traditional French cuisine made by a truly classically trained chef. I cannot possibly explain how this embraces the concept of a bistro with both finesse and perfection.
Hey folks. This is the best French cuisine in United States. You cannot get better than this. Chef Jean knows everything about French Cuisine. Grilled Octopus was authentic and Grouper was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and try some delicious french cuisine here. Highly recommended. Kenneth Smith from Signa Pay Southeast.
A Hidden Gem by the Sea with Authentic French Cuisine! From the moment we stepped into Chez Frenchie’s, we felt transported—not just across the street from the beach, but straight to the French Riviera. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Vero Beach, this elegant steak and seafood restaurant is a masterclass in refined dining with a touch of coastal charm. Chef Frenchie, both owner and culinary artist, brings an authentic flair to every dish. The flavors are rich, balanced, and unmistakably French. The ambiance is intimate and relaxed—perfect for our celebratory dinner. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and the service mirrored the same care and finesse found in the food. Thank you, Frenchie, for the exquisite steaks, fresh seafood, and unforgettable atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back.
I have to admit I’m not a huge fan of crepes, so I was a little hesitant to order the Crêpe aux Fruits de Mer. But something about the menu description was tempting—or maybe it was just one of those seafood craving days (I also ordered a lobster bisque). Oh my, what an unexpected feast—worthy of a Michelin star! Everything was just perfect: the balance of flavors, the temperature, the wine pairing, and the ambience of the place. And the owners, Frenchie and Edyta, are such kind and welcoming people. Thank you both for making this day so special. Don’t hesitate to visit this place—you won’t regret it!
Chez Frenchie's is the absolute greatest establishment that I have ever been to. The chef came out and greeted us during our meal and even performed the Dover sole table side. To have the skills and gratitude to perform such an act while busy in the kitchen was something that resonated with me. The blond haired Polish lady who was our waitress was so full of energy and a joy to talk to. She made sure that everything was correct and even catered to our requests. 100% WOULD RECOMMEND if you are looking for a fantastic and delicious meal with perfect service and looking to spend a special day like an anniversary with your special someone. Even if it is not a special day Chez Frenchie's will make you feel that your day is special. The only thing that I hated was that I had to leave!!! I wanted to stay there all night.
Just went with my parents during their Easter hours. (2pm - 6pm). First of all my mom got a reservation for 12pm on open table about a week ago. They called her personally and told her that the hours were wrong on the app and offered to move the reservation! I had the filet, which was cooked exactly how I asked! The gravy was paired really nice with it and it’s all portioned very well. Also, big shout out to Tony!!! He was so nice and attentive the whole time! It felt like talking to a friend :).
We visited Chez Frenchie's one evening and had the most incredible dinner. We began with their famous Caesar salad and were impressed. The Goat Cheese salad was a feast for the eyes and palette, a unique combination of flavors that blended together perfectly. Our entrees were the Veal Roquefort, and Shrimp Scampi. The veal was flavorful and not overly rich. The scampi was so delicious, the best I've ever had. We shared a Bomba for dessert that was great. Our service was professional and perfectly timed. It was a memorable dinner and we look forward to returning to Chez Frenchie's when we are in the area. It is a real treasure in Vero Beach.
We have been returning to Chez Frenchie's each winter for 7 years and always love the food, service and ambience. Last night was no exception with several new choices including the Lobster bisque which was the best I have ever tasted. (I have had lobster bisque from New England to San Francisco, and nothing compares) Harisson was our server and he was amazing, no detail was missed and he suggested the Pompano which was in season and freshly caught. Outstanding, with a lobster beurre blanc sauce I believe. The Beef bourguignon would have made Anthony Bourdain proud. Great job Chef and thank you Harisson for your wonderful service. Bringing out of town friends back in a few weeks.
One of the best meals we’ve had! Starting with the delicious homemade bread. The French onion soup was delicious! We ordered filet mignon with the bearnaise sauce and it was fantastic! The potatoes were a delight and mixed vegetables were perfect (not over cooked). Our waiter Gary was attentive and very accommodating!l
Chez Frenchie in Vero Beach was absolutely amazing and the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. The food was outstanding — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and truly worth every bite. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the menu and the experience. It made the whole celebration feel elevated and memorable. If you’re looking for a place for a special occasion or just an incredible meal, Chez Frenchie is a must. We had a perfect evening and will definitely be back!
Amazing place. The quality of food served here is superior. The chef came out to see if our food was satisfactory. My wife had the CREPE AU FRUITS DE MER, and oh my god, that was full of seafood and the taste was out of this world. We will definitely be back.
Chez Frenchie’s Is Awesome! My parents took me to Chez Frenchie’s, and even though it was actually my second time there, it felt like my first—because I was too little to remember the first visit. 😀 This time, I got to really enjoy it, and it was amazing! I ordered the duck breast with cranberry sauce, and it was seriously delicious. The sauce was the best part—I don’t know what was in it, but it made the duck taste even better. The duck was cooked perfectly: soft, juicy, and not dry at all. Our waiter was super nice and didn’t rush us, which made dinner feel really chill and relaxed. The restaurant was quiet, and the lights were dim, so it felt cozy but also kind of fancy. It was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had, and I really hope we go back again soon!
I'm staying nearby for a few months while house hunting. This is amazing food and amazing service. You have the high end Manhattan French food without the pretentious service. The escargot, lamb, Bolognese, seafood and drinks are extraordinary. I'm going back for the bisque and the French onion soup. ...And the the rest of the menu!
Great restaurant... very classy.... superb food..excellent atmosphere..Harrison our server extremely personable. We sat at the bar after dinner and continued to enjoy our drinks with Harrison!
We went to Di Mare wanting to try something new in our town. We thought the food was mostly good, but expensive for what it was. I did get a salad with my meal that had clearly been in the fridge too long (the leaves were mushy and I thought there was some mold in it.) The server handled it very professionally. Everything else tastes good. The picture is of the appetizer we shared. Would return again if we had a hankering for something specific they served there.
We went to Chez Frenchie’s on NYE with a group of 8 adults. Over all it was a nice experience but our food took extremely long. So long that they brought our complimentary soup to tide us over. I had the veal citron, and it was mediocre—definitely nothing to rave about. My husband had a steak and said he’d had better for less $. For the price I probably wouldn’t go back. our server was nice and the atmosphere was lovely. although, i had the lemon drop martini, and it was SO GOOD. amazing. one of the best i’ve had.
Our server was amazing! It was obvious that she serves older guests often. When my 85-year-old mother misunderstood something, the server smoothly pivoted to assure my mother that she had simply misspoken, and apologized for the confusion. My mother beamed with the belief she had not made a mistake. The tapenade served with bread was a treat. The swordfish with crab meat I ordered had very limited flavor. The crab meat was brought to me late, the kitchen forgot it. The others in my party seemed to enjoy their meals. The atmosphere was quiet but not memorable.
The food was OK and expensive for what it was. See picture…. $46 for drab soggy fries and measly carrots to accompany what was a good beef filet and sauce… they can and should do a lot better. The waiter was simply lost, lost, lost. Came back 3 separate times to announce they were out of the next wine by the glass.
*RESPONSE TO OWNER: -For some Invicta is the same as Rolex or they can't see the difference between a Chrysler and a Bentley. I get it now about the "Fine Restaurant". -My martini was prepared with a very small amount of house vodka, she was preparing it 3 ft from me then you don't need to tell me what i saw. -The main dishes were cold. That is a fact. -I had only 1 side dish of mushrooms and onions and i was charged $16 for it. Please see the pictures i posted or look on your copy. It clearly shows "1". Another fact. -I'm surprised and i will be always surprised after any business who is already overpriced and charges 3.5% for a credit card payment in 2024. Anniversary dinner ruined, not what they advertise! We walked into the business and at first impression it didn't look like a fine dining restaurant but we have been at so many places and had so many great surprises that we learned not to judge a book by it's cover. There was a big and noisy table at the main dining room then we decided to seat by the bar which was quiet. Our server was Danielle who is also the bartender and she was great from beginning to end. It took a while even to take the orders for drinks or food but we were mentally prepared for one of those long and relaxed European dinners. The place in general does not look good and does not match the idea of the "fine dining restaurant" that they are trying to sell, it looks more like an old mom and pop joint. My $18 martini was prepared with a drop of house vodka but who cares when you are waiting for the food of your dreams, right? I usually drink many cocktails or even order a bottle of wine but the first one was not inviting and just went with Pellegrino through the meal. We ordered the grilled octopus as starter which was basically a gummy salad with tiny pieces of not grilled octopus. After that dish arrived our perspective started to change the angle... They brought a complementary dish that i will not give my opinion about because we did not pick it. My wife's lobster ravioli were cold and ok on flavor. My daughter and I had the frites. My meat was cooked to perfection while hers was a lot dry on the outside for a medium, still the meat was fabulous. To our surprise the fries were soggy and the whole dish was presented horribly and cold. I had a side of mushrooms and onions for which i was charged $16 that you can guess how good it was... The prices were very high for the quality of the food. On top of that i was charged $12 for the Pellegrino's which was the highest price i ever paid for them. Cherry on top: 4% of "non-cash adjustment" on the tab. Management: have you ever heard about the "cost of doing business?". It would have been easier to swallow if it was a "service charge" because the server went above and beyond. In addition to the ambience part of the review, one of the servers that was working on the main dining room with a big table with separate tabs(she mentioned that frequently) was very loud and was making rude comments about the customers that were at the other room, using profanity out loud and just making us feel a bit uncomfortable. To our surprise, the same people that she was complaining about, were ordering a great amount of drinks(raising her tip) and hugging her when leaving(?). This place needs A LOT of improvement in ALL areas. I regret to have picked it for such an important night.
I’ll start out saying the fillet was very good. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. For the price we paid, we should not have had salads that did not have fresh lettuce. The Caesar was mostly comprised of the white stems, the salad seemed like it had been made a couple days ago. They did not have the bottle of wine we ordered so we settled for 2 glasses, of which both were flat, had been opened 3 days ago. Bits of cork were in one. However, our waitress made good on that and did take them off our bill. My husband ordered augratin potatoes, which we later found out were prepared on 2/14, 5 days ago. He said the consistency was like mashed. We were so disappointed because we didn’t go out for Valentine’s, so this was our special evening. OBVIOUSLY, THE OWNER WOULD RATHER RIDICULE HIS GUESTS RATHER THAN TRY TO IMPROVE FROM THEIR COMMENTS. IF YOU WERE THERE THAT NIGHT, RATHER THAN HIDING BEHIND THE SCENES SIPPING OUR FLAT WINE, YOU SHOULD HAVE COME OUT AND HAD A DISCUSSION WITH US. THE WAITRESS GAVE US THE INFORMATION ON WHEN THE WINE WAS OPENED AS WELL AS WHEN THE POTATOES WERE MADE. IT'S FUNNY YOU BOTH HAVE A DIFFERENT STORY. HOPING IN THE FUTURE YOU DON'T TAKE ALL THE COMMENTS SO PERSONALLY AND LOOK TO IMPROVE. PLANNING FOR VALENTINE'S 2026, ORDER EXTRA WINE, THEN YOU'RE NOT STRUGGLING THE NEXT FEW DAYS UNTIL YOU CAN PLACE A NEW ORDER, ETC.
We tried this restaurant last night and was disappointed, along with our surrounding tables. By the way the owner reacts to reviews and the way the wait staff reacted to our complaints, it's clear they don't believe they need to improve. The waiter got several of our orders wrong, the food took nearly 2 hours to arrive to our table and every table around us was complaining of the wait time and to respond, the wait staff would bring out "complimentary soup" to tide them over. Our table of 6 was not offered any soup. Even drinks took almost 30 minutes to arrive to our table. When the food finally arrived it was lack luster. Not worth the high price tag. Very disappointed. We ended up door dashing dessert because we were wanting something more but not wanting to wait any longer.
Very welcoming staff, but a bit over-eager. Patrons can’t order literally 2 minutes after seeing the menu. Server did not honor request to have salad before appetizers. Pouilly-Fuissé was not chilled. Overpriced Dover Sole was 1/8” thin and overcooked, risotto bland as paper. Chef came out to try to defend abysmal dish like we were clueless, and not 60 y.o, world-traveled diners who know how to cook. Very disappointing. I recommend they do better with your experience. Also, would have preferred still bottled water, yet our conversation was interrupted with unnecessary ice water refills so frequently, and we could tell this dining experience was not going to be as it should. FYI, 1 bad dish awkwardly affects the whole table.
The food was okay, but the overall experience was very disappointing. We were not informed ahead of time that Christmas Day would have a limited menu, and they were already out of prime rib by 6 PM. One of the servers appeared highly intoxicated, was extremely loud, used constant profanity, and repeatedly messed up her tables’ orders. Although she wasn’t our server, her behavior ruined the atmosphere and became the main focus of the night. It was honestly comical at times, but clearly upsetting for her tables, and the hostess was yelling at her throughout the evening. There was no apology from anyone. The only positive part of the night was being with my family. We will not be back.
The worst dining experience of my life. Took 90 minutes to receive our appetizers. Then after waiting another hour and 15 minutes for our main course we decided to leave. After asking for our bill twice we were forced to pay the entire bill and receive our main dish in take out containers. The restaurant then had the nerve to add a 18% gratuity to our bill. Fortunately we were able to have that taken off. To add insult to injury when we arrived home, the steak was over cooked and the Dover sole was filled with bones. Avoid this restaurant at all cost.
Snails get way over cooked here and no flavor even when drowned in garlic. Very disappointing since it was the only place in vero I could find.server is very sweet but overly nice it’s annoying honestly. Burger is $29………. So we’ll see oh an it’s Friday night one table
Warm veal with a sauce that tasted out of a can. A lukewarm French onion soup. And a crème brûlée that was not crème but raw egg floating around in a dish. I would never Recommend this restaurant. McDonald’s is better. They need someone that knows how to cook. The only bonus with the service was good for lousy food
