My wife found the place in google. Checked it out with two kids and a dog and puppy. Great place. Kid and dog friendly. They even have items in the menu for your dogs. Everyone left satisfied. Great live music.

The ambiance, and staff, and service was excellent. The owner is very nice, she is welcome.

The food was very flavorful. I'll list this as atucked a way Hidden Gem.

My family and I stopped in today for the first time and we’re very impressed! The staff was so sweet and accommodating. It was busy but everything came out quickly and was delicious. Our waitress was on point with refills and checking in to make sure everything was good. We look forward to going back!

We were so lucky to host a private event/engagement party at Avenue Bistro with all of our family and friends. Trevor was so helpful in organizing the event and our bartender Emily was so wonderful. All of our guests had a fantastic time. The whole team there helped make the day so special.

I went with my wife and 3 year old daughter for my birthday brunch about a week and a half ago. Our server was Charlie who attentively took our order and had such a great attitude. He made sure we had all we needed and kept my mimosas flowing. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our time there. It's people like Charlie who make a simple brunch that much better. We will definately be back soon!

I had a great time at Avenue Bistro in Verona! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere meant that this place was something different. The mood was perfect for a casual but lively dining experience. The Steak Tacos were my choice, and they were simply wonderful—wonderfully prepared, packed with flavor, and most definitely a 5/5 meal! But what made this experience truly special was the service. My server, Louis, was excellent. Not only was he polite and attentive, but he also possessed great repartee that enhanced the whole experience even more. He was remarkably knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. It was obvious that he has a passion for providing great service. On top of this, he was thoroughly knowledgeable about the locality, making recommendations for things to do in town to continue with the evening. His hospitality and personality created the impression that I was staying with a friend. Louis truly went above and beyond to make my evening totally flawless, and his service alone is why I will be back to Avenue Bistro. Huge thanks to Louis and the staff for such an amazing night. Highly recommend!

Went to celebrate a Monday evening birthday dinner for a friend. Big win with All Monday Happy Hour Had an amazing "personal" bartender, Emily, super friendly with great bartender insight, really added to the vibe. Food is good, solid all around. Birthday desserts were great too. Definitely a good spot for a chill night out.

Had a great experience with Nolan hosting my friend and I. And lisette was an awesome server, she was so nice, informative, and checking on us frequently..

I attended this restaurant Christmas party yesterday, and it was incredible! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Everyone was enjoying themselves, and it was clear that a great time was being had by all. The bartender was on point, efficiently handling everyone's orders with a smile. If you're in the area, this is definitely a must-visit restaurant. Highly recommend!

Food is delicious, mixed drinks are fantastic and great selection of quality beer (I'm a huge fan of IPA's and there's always numerous options that all rank among my favorites). Service is outstanding! Especially the bartenders!

Another great meal. Fifteen friends and I dined on a Friday night with reservations for 10. They easily expanded the table to accommodate us, and took drink orders. Our food orders were easily managed by our sweet and competent waitress. Everyone was pleased with their choices and we had a great post-bocce evening. The eggplant sandwich was amazing - great grilled flavor and combination of ingredients. Great choices, service and prices. Try it soon. You'll be happy you did!

Had dinner here on St Patty’s Day. Great service, good food & drinks, fun festive vibe. It was crowed with a live band in another room from where we were dining. We arrived 10 mins early for our reservation and was seated immediately. This is rare in my experience. Our waitperson was exceptional and though it was crowed the manager still made time to check on us personally. From what we observed this restaurant was run very well. It was a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Returned this year on St Patrick’s Day, food still great! Menu was a little different than last year but still very good. We won’t wait another year to return. (The last 5 photos are new.)

I stopped by Avenue Bistro while I was in the area and decided to take my food to go. I placed my order online for the pizza on flatbread and the chicken and steak tacos. The food was really tasty and filling—just the right portion sizes! The tacos were perfectly sauced, with enough for all three without being overwhelming. The flatbread pizza came with a side of pesto sauce, which was delicious and a great complement to the dish. I was able to save some for leftovers, and it still tasted great the next day. The restaurant was a bit crowded when I arrived, but luckily, parking was free in the area, which made things convenient. One downside was that even though I received an order completion time when I placed my order online, I ended up waiting a bit once I got there. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s worth noting.

Brunch. Presentation was excellent, service and pricing was good. Home fries excellent. Strawberries fresh. OJ good. French toast was good and had a unidentifiable flavor (would like a little more egg batter and 2 slices of small thin bread is NOT enough!). BEST ginger ale that stood up to the cubes (hard to come by)!!!Nicely designed and unique looking waffle BUT they need a different batter...TOO THICK AND CAKEY and not hot enough to melt the maple butter!!!

Came in for dinner on a Friday about 6pm in a slight rush (needed to get to Holy Spirit BINGO by 7pm ☺️). We were seated and waited on quickly and efficiently. Atmosphere was nice, but close to the bar which is definitely geared for sports - surrounded by overhead televisions. Drinks were great, had the Witch's Brew cocktail and my partner had beers. We shared the arugula salad, I had the chicken soup which was absolutely delicious and served in a cast iron pot which kept it warm, partner had a cheese burger which he rated about a 3.5 out of 5. Out of there just in time for BINGO. Will definitely be visiting again!

Cute little spot in Verona for dinner! They have many different dining options (indoor, partially enclosed, and outdoor) to accommodate all dining comfort levels. Prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed their turkey BLT wrap while my friend enjoyed a veggie wrap. The portions sizes were also good and they appeared to have a variety of enticing happy hour deals.

We visited Avenue on a quiet Friday night. Seating indoors and at the bar was plentiful, but outdoor seating required a reservation. There’s a large patio in the back of the restaurant with two fire pits and a mural on one wall. Menu is diverse and would appeal to a variety of tastes. Our five-top started with crab dip and baked Brie. Starters came out quickly and were tasty. I ordered the ten spice tuna as my main. For being named “ten spice,” seasoning seemed to be lacking on all elements of the dish. The fish, however, was cooked properly. Service was attentive. Prices are reasonable. There’s a large municipal parking lot behind the restaurant, which is helpful, since parking on Bloomfield Ave is usually sparse.

The perfect local spot for a family celebration. We held my daughter’s baby shower on the tented patio. We decorated the venue, which was comfortable and festive. A number of our guests commented about how much they liked the buffet of tacos, salad, sliders, flat breads and appetizers. The staff was attentive, and TJ, the manager, was easy to work with, flexible and took extra steps to make our day special. The municipal parking lot at the back entrance to the restaurant, was a real bonus.

Avenue Bistro is a cornerstone of the new focus on Verona restaurants. It's a really large space offering open window seating in the front bar seating, bar table seating, outdoor seating with TVs and even further outdoor seating under a canopy. Parking isn't a problem as there is a large lot behind the place. The food is fantastic...almost anything you can order is great. I'm a vegetarian but I have been there four times in the past two months and have not been disappointed in the food options. My cousins got the pork chop and it was enormous and they said it was fantastic. I had the Drunken mudslide fries this last time.. basically, pasta vodka fries. The atmosphere in the front area still needs some work...theming perhaps, some background music maybe. It was very loud, but mostly because of the acoustics. The place can accommodate any size party...so I do recommend it for those happy hour times...

Great spot, plenty of parking, awesome menu and food, good drink selection and unique cocktails, attentive service. However the pet policy needs to be revisited, nothing like having your Mother’s Day brunch interrupted by pit bulls and poodles growling at each other and making everyone uncomfortable. Crying and whimpering for an hour, Christ. With the exception of legitimate service animals, why do you feel the need to bring dogs to a restaurant?

The food was very very tasty. We had our baby shower there today. Salad was very fresh, and all the other dishes were so delicious! The problem was even though we paid per head, they did not bring us enough food. Our table had 8 people and they brought out one plate of each dish only (total of 4 dishes). We had to ask for more food to come multiple times which took away the joy of dining and relaxing. Some with other 3 tables too. The other issues was the outside room was freezing cold. They did turn up the heat but it was not enough because they need to invest in some proper insulation if you are going to promise us it will be warm to host an event in outdoor room.

Enjoyed being able to get a choice of several side salads instead of fries. Disappointed in meatball parm. On small side and the "topped with mozzarella sticks" were empty. Cheese overall was lacking. Bread was basic white bread roll and "grilled" had no "toasting" to it. Salad = 5/5 Parm = 1/5

To start out positive the menu offered is a varied selection of food for everyone. I was disappointed in the portions of food, we ordered the calamari to share was half of what most restaurants give you I ordered mussels and clams in a pot which I thought would be plentiful to share but there was only six clams and six muscles for $20 although the red sauce was good The burata dish was a nice dish and tasty, the potatoes chips were also good If I go back I will order some of the other dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen that looked a lot better and plentiful. The waitresses were on point although the the busser staff tried to take away our dishes three times while we were still eating and offered no ice for our water glasses on a summer day. I hope management will address these issues. It was not busy at the time we went on a Sunday afternoon.

I wish i re-did the food option.i was left hungry and I'm sure my guests were too. The atmosphere was awesome and had a lot of space to make it fun. Guests had a good time and enjoyed location. Service could have been better communicated. There was empty plates and glasses left on the tables during the party. I had asked them if someone can remove from tables no one came to clean.

Fun ambience and good service (both the hostess and our waiter were very accommodating) with a nice outside space. The food menu looks more promising than we found it to be. Everything we had was standard bar food quality (chicken was chewy, flat bread was so-so). The Bavarian pretzel was unique and tasty. I'd go back to watch sports and have burgers (good draft beer selection too) but not specifically for the food.

I arrived for happy hour and tried the happy hour menu but the sliders were not good at all. The buns were over toasted, which I didn’t ask for, the buffalo slider was hard over cooked kid style chicken nuggets. The burger was just Ok. Maybe it’s an off night for them.

Service is slow, but they aren’t disrespectful, overall it’s fine all things considered. We’ve gone here countless times and have had takeout countless others. The food is amazing, do not let this review discourage dining in! BUT! BUT! My main complaint which will warrant this bad review is the horrendous takeout experiences I have personally have had. The takeout containers are too small and food is often shoved or even squeezed in (such as with their large tasty burgers or sandwiches) or in multiple containers, which is very wasteful and annoying. They tend to also give smaller portions on their takeout compared to dine in, especially on the chicken milanese it seems. Very disappointing practice! While the single piece of chicken was huge and tasty, the salad portion of the entree, which came in its own separate small container, was really small and a joke. It didn’t even fill up the whole container all things considered and left me really taken aback. Takeout is also horrendously slow, especially every time we have ordered takeout. Overall the food is some of the best locally available, do not let this review discourage you from dining in, they are wonderful, but I hope they fix the take out service especially its containers and increase its portion sizes. I will happily change this review if this is acknowledged or changes are implemented.

Horrible service and the new management is even worse! At least The flat bread pizza was so good but now they changed that and it’s awful.

This place is usually my go to for when I want family time with the dogs so I gave it a chance for a bigger party. Called for a patio reservation since we required to have dogs at my party and booked for the date, but a few days later the restaurant called back to say they can’t accommodate my party for the patio for a bigger party that had called and reserved after me and asked me to accommodate to the inside seating…without dogs. Will not be giving this place my business again.
