I absolutely love the people that work there, I always get there late night/early morning and they have the most cheerful people working. The only time I've ordered food for MYSELF, not only were they more than accommodating to my weird requests, but they went above and beyond to give me as much food as they could shove in my to-go container. I love IHOP. Everytime we visit our family in the US, i force everybody to go to IHOP. I love their big portions of American buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter. (Though it wouldnt hurt if you made them even bigger, like plate size 😁).. My daughter got the minions pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon and absolutly loved it. Our family friend had never had American pancakes before (i know what a chocker, right?). And she was pleasantly surprise. For us europeans this is absolutly awesome!! And i will be back..

Not from the area but have a few IHOP’s near me. Jealous that the food and service is so much better than the ones near us locally. Great cook on the food. Easy over and medium on the steak was perfect. Friendly service too. Would comeback here for sure.

No one will see my review but the General Manager Heather, and our server omary made our visit with the kids amazing. We got there, sat down, omary made us feel welcomed and safe. They got busy but however; the general manager Heather, brought us all our food while omary was busy with other guests. She even brought our kids a little extra food and made them feel like they’re at home. Compliments to the cooks for the amazing food and the manager on deck helping out her employees it’s like a family. We will be back next Sunday because if this is how we are treated and fed there’s no reason to stop coming. Cudos to this team

I was blown away at my list visit. My *amazing* server, Doreen, is the best there is. I pray to have her every time I visit! Jay was the cook who blew my mind with the care he put into my breakfast. Rare steak tips were cooked *perfectly*, lightly poached eggs totally on point, and extra well done hashbrowns crispy and delicious! It was heartwarming to see someone actually put effort into a quick breakfast and it made my day! The manager on duty was also sweet as honey butter biscuits with good conversation and highly attentive to her staffs needs, stepping in wherever needed! I expect this meticulous service from an upscale restaurant, not your everyday IHOP. I can't visit as much as I'd like due to high prices (around $22 for steak tips and eggs) but I look forward to coming into the Vestal, NY location to see the greatest staff ever! 10/10

I love the variety they have for breakfast, something a little different than other breakfast locations and the prices are up to par with other eateries. The nights I've gone have been very lovely! A happy time with my co workers as we ate and our server Buca was very enthusiastic and made our time there 100 times better! He was great on time with our orders even for our bigger groups! Food was good, may just of been me not 100% happy with it though! Still had a good time regardless!

The restaurant was pretty quiet when I arrived at 1730. They are a bit short staffed, no receptionist at the door. The food was good, the server was polite and efficient. They only had 3 laminated menus that they were passing around the restaurant. Overall not a bad experience just not great.

Service was excellent and friendly. The place was very busy with people waiting in line. There really are very few places to have breakfast on Vestal Parkway. I had Eggs Benedict a dish that is very hard too find in the Binghamton area. Theyvwere good enough but the yoke were not runny like they should be.

I’ve been to this particular IHOP location a few times and enjoyed the breakfast menu. Today, I tried their after-breakfast menu. Very generous portions were available. The salt and pepper grinders were sticky and unusable, however. The food took a little while to come out—over 30 minutes. Otherwise, a good experience.

Great menu. Good variety of selection. Quality of ingredients is eh. But the food was good. We went here for a cheat meal, needed it. We weren't expecting a ton but were impressed. Fresh fresh food cooked for us. We were only ones in the joint. Good decor, clean looking. Waitress was a little scary but she was nice and accommodating. Food was good, cooked well. Everything was great. Wife got pancake combo, I got the chocolate chocolate chip with side of bacon, and my son got the smiley face. We each got cold brew coffees my son got the kid hot chocolate. All was well :)

Place had no customers when we got there at 5pm. I started with the Country Fried Steak & Eggs. It was good. My twin nieces got the JR. Cupcake pancake combo and they liked them. My other niece got The Classic with Bacon Burger with fries. She seemed to like that. My other niece got Chocolate Chocolate Chip pancakes with fries and Turkey Bacon. She like that. My wife had the the classic crispy chicken sandwich with bacon and a side of onion rings. She was happy with that. Staff was friendly and place was clean.

When my food arrived we realized we didn't have any utensils. Once we informed the waitress she brought us our utensils. The only thing is some were clean and some dirty. Like it was so nasty so we just requested plastic folks utensils. Also, 2 of the 4 orders were cooked wrong. Overall the service was good and shout-out to the waitress. The real wth was the dirty utensils. People play attention to the utensils and don't be afraid to request plastic utensils cause they have it for take out orders

Under staffed, we ordered 10min before my wife and daughter arrived since they only had 1 hour to have breakfast. It took about 1 hour before it arrived at the table, which my daughter had to eat it quickly and my wife had to bring her pancakes with her. It was just such a long wait. Also, they ran out of mayo. Omg. It was not the servers' fault, but she was also overwhelmed.

Most of the staff just standing around doing absolutely nothing while management does little to nothing. If they have time to lean they have time to clean. Generally speaking the restaurant was in sad shape

IHOP surprised me in multiple ways. First the price, the original pancakes are over $10. Which is crazy for just basic pancakes. If you want any other special pancakes, those are over $13. Secondly, I was expecting great pancakes, but in reality they were just average. There are many other places that offer better breakfast at a higher quality and price. It will be a long time before I go back to IHOP.

A lot has changed and things that were great, changed a lot. First, the words Good Morning! Hi, hey, even yo is better than having your good morning dismissed with a straight to business attitude. First two people, the hostess and server both omitted a greeting. Ordered eggs Benedict and what could've been a good meal lacked toasted English muffins. Non toasted muffins are horrid! My partner, who eats everything, was not ok with them either. This place has potential,but they are not there yet. College kids are great but they need to adopt a more welcoming, family-friendly act if they expect to succeed. A little pricey for breakfast offerings. $50+ for coffee, 2 entrees and cinnamon dippers. Not high on my recommendation list.

So here I am took my child out for a birthday breakfast he has ASD so pancakes it is as is his normal request daily anyhow I sat down and a male came over immediately met with hostility he asked if we can start with some drinks. My eight year old advice asked him if he had sprite he did not answer the question. He turned the menu pad over and then left it just like that in return said excuse me my son asked you a question Just because you’re disabled or a child. You should not be getting ignored by anybody so I pointed him in the direction of which my son was sitting to answer his question as a homeschool mom I expect my son to handle his self with the mannerisms that I am teaching him no matter his disability This mail continue to be hostile to me. I’ve stopped him and said are you OK? He turned around with such demise in his eyes, hatred and his voice and stated I knew you were going to be a problem by just looking at you. I’ve been said excuse me do you have Sprite or not? He then said you don’t even look like you would tip at this point it was becoming somewhat of a nuisance to me, however, because I chose not to answer back in front of my son at this point, I could not help myself because what does someone look like that would cause the problem oh I’m sorry is that person a brown woman with dreads with a brown son with dreads That has on a Gucci pocketbook a Cartier ring? I’m sorry that pulls up in a RR 2025 oh okay I guess We all get stereotype not too sure what it was for him maybe it was the color of my skin. Maybe it was my dreads as I shook it like Waka Flocka maybe it was my cardio ring maybe it was my Gucci glasses that match my Gucci bag maybe it was the beats on my son‘s ears maybe it was his iPad. Maybe it was my broken nails. I was so disgusted. He had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a manager, yes sir yes please thank you and then come to find out me and the manager related on such a deeper level because of our children at the end she did comp out my son‘s meal, which I wish she wouldn’t have because I would love the receipt so I could’ve made a formal complaint. I did ask not to cop it out. I end up giving the waitress A eight dollar tip only because she was well mannered and accommodated all my son’s needs during the 11 minutes of her assisting us and of course, because I did not pay for the meal. They escorted the waiter out at this point. I’m more scared of him than he was of me. The point is I was not gonna leave, but I did feel threatened and I did feel alone because I was 40 minutes away from home and when you have a child with a disability, you just don’t take any risk however, I do hope that him losing his job today taught him a very valuable lessonand kudos to the managers. Who was in there. It was two ladies amazing women you can just tell one of them, yeah not very bright in the spirit but the other one she had blonde hair she was just I mean her soul spoke. Let me also mention, I don’t really think that people who are let’s just say not straight to judge anybody or anything because nowhere in the Bible says anything about brown people being judged, but it did say man should not be with man 🫣😌

Nice place to catch up with friends, or for a family meal. Service depends on the time of the day. Sunday morning breakfast around 9.30ish took 1.30 hours for the food to be served for a group 2 adults and 3 kids. Tea was served cold, we were told coffee machine was broken (completely understand, but they shouldnt have taken drinks orders if the machine was broken). Another visit around 2 p.m- Food was exceptional and the lady who was taking our orders was very helpful. Loon- ensured the order was accurate and was all served in 20 minutes. Probably timing of the day makes all the difference. Very nice place, prices have gone up considerably. I almost visit this place once a year, so can definitely notice difference- prices have gone up, food taste not changed, but quantity has reduced- good in a way to stay healthy- whilst being a foodie!!

This place has the worst service ever. Waited 45 mins for our food. Never once did they come to the table and ask if everything was ok. The food was fine but never again will I be back.

Wasn’t busy at all which was nice but you’d expect the food to come quicker if there were only four tables seated?? We waited 40 minutes for our food and the waiter was constantly forgetting refills and sauces when we asked. My friend had to get up and go to the server station herself to get some sauce. The table next to us had finished eating just as we came and their dirty plates were still there when we left. I understand they were probably new but PLEASE learn how to do your job instead of yapping with your coworkers at an empty table.

Very disappointing burritos, cannot even stand close to other iHops ihoppy hour burritos. Not only was the burritos not served with salsa, one is just sad compared to the other one. Also, other iHops burritos were definitely at least twice the size.

It's not a good experience,food was not good. The waitress was either new or had a chip on her shoulder, and to get seated was horrible.I had my mom, who walks with a walker, and none of them could figure out where to sit us. I'll take the next person ,I don't have room,finally someone grabbed someone from the back and she said put them here after 10 minutes.It was embarrassing.

My girlfriend ordered the soda water. Honestly, it tasted like sewage water. When we told the waitress and she seemed indifferent about it. I ordered the Monster Burger. First off, they got the order wrong. Secondly, the food was bland and dry. Food here is below average. I would not recommend this IHOP to anyone.

Food was average, if not sub-par, but how do you mess up pancakes. Service is terrible, our server Amy Jo may speak in a pleasant tone but her absence is quite amazing. She managed to disappear for quite some time and arrived with our food after a table that came after us had their foods for ~5 mins. Not to mention after their food came and we waited a while already, she decided then to inform us that they were out of bacon. When the food did come, there were 4 people so I understand if she had to make multiple trips but why did I have to 3 minutes for our pancakes to come separate from the other items in our combo, as well as the ranch dressing for the salad. I saw her give a table their water before our pancakes, they ordered long before their water came by the way. The issue may have been from the kitchen being slow, but even if that were the issue, it wouldn’t have been hard to be accommodating and inform us or at least make us feel welcome. Never coming again, save yourself the money and the trouble and the irritation and just go to Dennys.

Alright well I ordered 2 kids Mac & cheese & a fallen ,some other things to go as well. The kids mac & cheese was soo small as 2 quarters put side by side. I was a lil confused I was like whatever but then we get to the waffle when I got home all the way to endicott. I like to break it down for the kids & soo I did & I ended up finding something in the waffle. This is what I found , some type of paper or plastic & when we called she said to take it back & she’ll take care of it. When we got there she was super nice & said she’ll have them go through the batter & told us that the mac & cheese was soo small cause they change their portions. She gave us extra mac & a new waffle. Great manager (I don’t remember her name) but experience wasn’t great , the home fries was soo little & hard we didn’t enjoy those either. If I didn’t break down that waffle I would have ate it cause it’s unnoticeable until ripped open.

Limited handicap parking, no cub cuts on one entire side of the restaurant or street front facing side. The food was awful, didn't get the syrup caddy at all, the hash browns are the soak in the water carton type without a doubt these looked barely to have hit the grill. The amount of egg was so little and undercooked the French toast was good but cold. The bacon however was on point. This overall is the worse IHOP I have ever been in. The waitress was pleasant which is why the three stars. In that section. Everything else was absolutely terrible here.

There is a lack of enthusiasm with the staff not the worst though. What I was most disappointed with was the fact there is cobwebs everywhere, my feet were sticking to the floor under my table. Why not take the time out of the day or at the end of the day to clean. Staff needs to put more effort into the job. And the management needs to ensure it. It’s unfortunate that the only IHOP in a pretty large radius is treated so poorly

We were seated fairly quickly. Then left to set for 40 min before anyone even came over and offered us drinks. The Restaurant was not that busy. We were getting ready to leave without ordering when they came over finally. We then ordered coffee and server brought coffee and 1 spoon. No napkins. So we ordered and it took an additional 40 min for them to bring it to us. The server came over a couple of times assuring us our food was on its way . The pancakes were cold. Server proceed to hangout in the galley for 30 mins so couldn't even get it corrected. Then waited 45 mins to an hour just to get the check as the server ignored the table the whole duration.

I used to love ihop, I hadn’t been in a while so I went on a brunch date before a movie with a friend. I suggested it. I ordered the appetizer sampler and a blueberry refresher. The blueberry refresher looked promising but the water tasted very bad and my order was served rotten onion rings and not-so-fresh chicken. I swallowed a mouthful of onion ring before there was a problem. I was sick all yesterday and burping the taste of rotten onions through the whole movie which we had to exchange our movie time for one 2 hours later because my stomach was turned. I have spent about 4 hours in the bathroom since yesterday and woken up sick this morning. The manager refunded my portion of the meal before we left the restaurant but not my friends. I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again. It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten this sick from eating something.

Place is empty and 20 minutes to take our order. While the food was good, the wait and service deserved the 1star review. Need to prioritize customers instead of having 3 workers sitting at a back table talking. Been seated for a half hour and still no food. I don’t blame the waitress. She was training someone. I blame the manager for not stepping up and helping.

So understaffed and door dash orders are prioritized over in house patrones. We left and only paid for our drinks after waiting 45 minutes and being told it would be AT LEAST another 15 minutes before our food was even started. Horrible communication from staff. There are just better local options with more personal service in the area.

Ate there last night. Food poisoning this morning. Guess I'll just add it to the list of places to avoid.

Great server, however good took 2 and a half hours to come out and we were literally the only people in the restaurant. Honestly I have no clue how it is possible for pancakes to take that long but it is beyond me.

This is the 73$ breakfast I receive this morning burnt hash browns burnt ham can’t even chew it. Also missing strawberries for crepes. If I didn’t check my togo order before I left I would’ve been missing 2 other orders of crepes. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very slow, poor service. Waited a while for the server to take our order. Then we had to wait after we were finished eating for the server to come back so we could ask for boxes and then still had to wait for him to bring our check. The restaurant was not busy but the server never came to check on us after he dropped off our food.

This ihop was completely empty. Me and a couple friends went and got some food. Took almost an hour to get our food. The waitress was nasty and smelt horrible. Not to mention the cook was not wearing any gloves. And the other waitress just stood around staring at people. Not to mention I got food poisoning from here 3 times now. Will not be returning

We had a 4 hour drive from Long Island for move in day at SUNY/Binghamton for our freshman daughter. With 2 hours to spare for our allotted time we went to IHOP. While it was not busy at all, the wait to get a table was about 15 minutes which seemed odd. Once seated, it took another 5 minutes or so before we placed our order. Near THIRTY MINUTES later, I got the attention of the server who, 5 minutes later checked.... she forgot to put in the order!!!!!! Now we had to leave. No real time to sit and eat. To recap, on an incredibly emotional and stressful day, after a long drive, IHOP was a miserable experience.

I had went again. After I watched a good movie and decided to give them another try after their last rude performance. But I see that they’ll just never be as good as they used to be. First when I walked in and just smelt horrible. I had asked for a blue raspberry lemonade and got blue Hawaiian Punch. It didn’t matter it was a drink for a start. And now for the worst part. I get my food and it was just disgusting!!!! My sister had ordered the split decision breakfast with French toast and her French toasted looked like an egg and cheese sandwich on the bottom!!! So when she asked for a remake it looked the same. And also when she asked for another Kathleen the serve caught an attitude. My sister also asked for toast. And Kathleen stood on her phone talking in the back while my sisters toast was just sitting here for Atleast 10-20 minutes getting cold with the rest of her food. Now on to my food. I had ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich I think and it was also disappointing!! The bread was hard and just cut the roof of my mouth and the avocado was also just as hard!!! The bacon was under cooked and my fries were overcooked!!! I feel like it will never be a win with coming here so I think I shall make it my last. Also I think Kathleen should find an office job cause this one isn’t for her. She rarely came to check in on us. AND my drink was empty and the two times MAX that she came I wasn’t offered a refill. But I couldn’t ask for one because the food was so damn NASTY!!!! Fire the chef to.

I'm giving the food three stars because it could have been amazing or disgusting, I would not know as my wife, daughter and I never got a chance to eat the food. We walked in, and the staff told us it would be a moment before they could seat us. Another group of people stood to leave as it looked like no one had come to take their orders. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated but no one came. After the one group left, only two other tables had people at them. Not sure what was going on but it wasn't service.

Imagine spending $60 dollars to have 2 combos delivered because you are already having a hard night solo parenting to only get half of what you ordered. Now I don’t get to eat tonight because I was already planning to share my meal with my toddler but now don’t have enough for myself. Thank you so much, you guys are awful.

The last 3 times I went there, I was completely ignored by the staff. I'm not saying they're racist but every time I went, in the last 6 months, I left because I was not being serviced and all the white people that walked in after me, were seated and waited on. I will never step foot there again. My feelings are hurt

Waited 30 mins for food, people that were there way after us got their food in minutes and we were still waiting. On 1 breakfast. Didn't even drink our juice before we left. The place had only a few tables taken and still took 30+ minutes for nothing. Pass on this place unless you have all day to wait.

Wow has this place gone absolutely into the dumpsters. The building is disgusting. Food everywhere, fruit flys flying around (in the winter is INSANE.. something and somebody isn’t doing their jobs). The floors are sticky and the booths as well. The workers are lazy and care more about talking to each other and texting on their phones than making the establishment presentable. Not only that but the language out of the kitchen? Atrocious. The amount of slurs and cusses I heard in my 30-40 minutes of being there was absolutely astounding and not in a good way. The food was eh. Looked terrible but tasted somewhat edible. That’s about the only “upside” I can give. I asked for a manager and was told a lady named Heather would be right over. She never showed up to speak to me (I wasn’t shocked given the rest of my experience) which was really funny because I had seen her walking around and doing table greets but just *somehow* missed my table, who had asked for her. I won’t be back. This place needs to shut down. I now understand why I never hear good things about this place and why your lot is always empty as hell.

Unfortunately didn't get to eat here; I was waiting for 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging or looking my way. There were 2 doordashers also waiting for longer than me, both complaining that they usually have to wait a while here. They barely got a nod when asking for their orders to be checked on. I can understand if there's a wait, but man just acknowledge us & say you'll be with us when you can. It felt pretty disrespectful.

I hate to be this person, but the website said 7am to midnight, and the door said the same, but the doors were locked when we tried to go in at 9:45. I understand understaffing, closing early, or whatever, but PLEASE. PUT A SIGN ON YOUR DOOR AT LEAST. Was really craving crepes (pregnant) but now I have to negotiate with my fetus to allow me to eat something else.

Garbage place, garbage workers and garbage food. Rude host just brought us to our table and then looked like she was hiding and avoiding us after. Never got drinks, never got food. There was coffee all over the table. Place was dead and we got seated and that was it. We waited almost 20 mins and just left. There was only 4 other people eating there. We decided to order it the day after for breakfast. What a mistake. Not only was the food garbage, we were missing multiple items. Gross

No napkins, no straws. Food was horrible. Not prepared correctly. Save your money and go to a local diner. Patrons (including myself) and wait staff were wearing jackets. The place was freezing.

The place was empty. Always a bad sign. The food took 40 minutes to get us. We were the only table at 7pm on a Wednesday. And my eggs Benedict which should have been a poached egg was hard boiled. Won't be back. Our server was wonderful and attentive. I made sure to tell him he deserved better.

I am staying in a nearby hotel for work and have been here in Vestal NY for a few months. I ordered from here and did delivery using their app. I ordered the Wonka pancakes, and eggs and bacon. And as you can see, it was not good. The pancakes were NOT done. The eggs were cold, but I’d take it over the beacon with some weird stuff on it and the undercooked pancakes with literally a squirt of the purple icing the size a quarter in the center of it. a interesting thing on the bottom of the pancakes and my drink tasted like mold from not properly cleaned their soda machine. I always wondered why I never see anyone there and the parking lot looks like they are always closed and now I know. Stay away from this place.
