Cibo ottimo come il servizio, una sola cameriera in sala che regge più di 30 coperti senza sbavature. Menu essenziale ma ben bilanciato. Abbiamo mangiato in 3: 2 piatti di trofie al pesto genovese ottime spiccava molto il basilico fresco bravi! 1 piatto di spaghetti il veliero ai frutti di mare qualche frutto in più non guastava ma bene nel gusto e nella cottura. 1 piatto di formaggio misti buoni e ben scelti. Non abbiamo preso il dolce perché pieni ma il sufflè con pallina di gelato deve essere delizioso. Ottima accoglienza personale gentile e preparato. In un quadrante con tanti locali gestiti da stranieri e trappole per turisti è stata un ottima sorpresa. Ci torneremo. Saluti da Roma. DGT

Ho cenato stasera con amici in questo bel ristorante, che ricordavo molto più "rustico". Ora invece è completamente ristrutturato, molto accogliente e pulito, con un'atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. Il servizio è attento e cortese, il proprietario è molto simpatico ed ospitale. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, menù di pesce ottimo e a prezzi davvero onesti. I piatti sono quelli della tradizione ligure, gustosi ed in proporzioni generose. Ho particolarmente apprezzato il tiramisù a fine pasto, pastoso ed equilibrato, una delizia! Tornerò volentieri in questo ristorante, lo consiglio senza esitazione!

Scoperto per caso da turista (prima porta che ho trovato quando i miei figli mi hanno detto di aver fame). La ragazza che ci ha servito cordialissima e simpatica e cibo senza fronzoli e squisito con porzioni corrette. Ambiente informale ma curato. Prezzi giusti. Bravi!

Locale ritrovato dopo qualche anno, complimenti ad Arianna che porta avanti la tradizione di papa' Biagio con cura sulla scelta di alimenti freschi e di qualita'. Locale rinfrescato e molto gradevole, menu' con il giusto numero di piatti ben curati nella presentazione e nella sostanza. Il pesce ne esce da protagonista!!! La sera di Capodanno pero' i prezzi sono lievitati senza preavviso nel momento della prenotazione telefonica......

Delicious pasta, bread, and cheese. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant without being too formal. Service was excellent and some of the staff were English-friendly, which was helpful. I recommend the spaghetti arrabbiata, but I enjoy a spicy sauce. My friends loved the mixed cheese plate and spaghetti with pesto. Red and white wines are easily available and they offer the local favorite Moretti beer, as well as water and a variety of soda.

Scoperta di passaggio e scelta suggestionati dai bollini presenti all’ingresso come selezione degli anni passati da guida michelin abbiamo ricevuto una buona attenzione nonostante l’orario tardo rispetto al pranzo. Provate le trofie al pesto. Prezzo leggermente alto ma qualità e ingredienti di primaria scelta.

Scoperto per caso mentre ci si perde tra i vicoli di Genova. Posto vicino al porto Antico. menù voto 7/10, piatti semplici e buoni, si le porzioni sono minime. Location voto 6/10, arredamento, normale, sedie comode, due sale, la prima vicino all'ingresso la seconda un pò più intima. Servizio 8/10, la proprietaria è un vulcano, simpatica e cordiale, è lei il locale Conto voto 6/10 i prezzi non sono altissimi però vengono giustificati poi dalla quantità della materia prima. Lo consiglio e ci ritornerò!!!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante,nulla da dire se non per gli antipasti un po’ cari per la quantità (poca)…Abbiamo preso un cocktail di gamberi e un insalata di polipo con patate…Entrambi caldi (non ci è stato specificato),in più i gamberetti erano congelati ma non era specificato…Consigliato ? Ni,sicuramente c’è di meglio in giro.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere, Al Veliero is a solid choice. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you step inside—well, once you actually get inside. You have to ring a bell to be buzzed in, which feels a little ironic given that there’s a Carabinieri station right next door. I mean, if things go south, at least help is close by? The menu offers a great variety of options, and the portion sizes are fair for the price. No disappointments there. That said, I suspect the cook had a slightly enthusiastic relationship with the salt shaker that day. Nothing too dramatic—I didn’t feel like a dried-up raisin afterward, and my cheeks didn’t cave in, so all good! All in all, Al Veliero delivers a solid dining experience with good food, fair prices, and a bit of unexpected adventure at the front door. Worth a visit!

such a cute and lovely place that is much enhanced my the charisma of the owner who walks around and makes sure people are enjoying the food! which we sure did! ❤️ We had some good squid to start with, it was a generous portion! I ordered the seafood spaghetti and it was delicious, the tomato sauce was complimentary to the tasty little clams and mussels! I also tried some of my mom’s ravioli which was very good. The seasonal vegetables were nice but I wish they disclosed that they were marinated in oil as it was unfortunately a little heavy for a side dish, but that’s alright since we are in Italy after all :) lastly, the tiramisu is a MUST! Gorgeously thick and layered. overall it’s a lovely lunch/dinner spot!

Really nice Italian restaurant in the port of Genova but unfortunately the food or the risotto was not half of how I was expecting it. It was really bland had no creaminess and it was only with clams and mussels and not with fresh seafood as it was present in the menu. Such a shame that they are trying to sell costumers or tourists old food and to be located in the port.

Ho mangiato da voi molte volte anni fa e il ricordo era molto migliore. A Natale avete proposto un menù con prezzi più alti, comprensibile, ma purtroppo il cibo non è stato all’altezza. Il servizio, la gentilezza e l’accoglienza sono davvero ottimi. La cucina invece è deludente: piatti pensati per turisti, con ingredienti surgelati (come l’insalata di mare) e un cappon magro rivisitato a modo vostro, che andrebbe specificato nel menù perché non è tradizionale. Gli spaghetti erano buoni, ma non sufficienti a compensare il resto. È un peccato, perché il locale e l’accoglienza meritano molto di più. Al momento non tornerei per mangiare.
