Probably our 'find' of the trip to Rome. We were looking for a nice bar to enjoy an al fresco drink (or more) and were warmly welcomed by the waiting staff, who duly found us seating outside. The drinks were of a high standard, the snacks served with the food lovely and the service was outstanding. So much so that we were remembered a couple of nights later when we returned with the waiter recalling our drinks order. The prices were maybe a little below average price for Rome and excellent. We will return, thank you

Welcoming place with much activity in the piazza to experience . It is like a ballet as the atmosphere changes all day long . The food is good and the owner pleasant and friendly . My favorite place for a morning cafe ,lunch, aperitivi or a light dinner .

Great coffee, yoghurt and pistachio croissant. A genuine surprise given how close it is to some really touristy spots. It had an authentic feel and really friendly service. Not to shame but I’m unsure why anyone is stopping to get an omelette.

Very cozy sat for dinner on the terrace. varied menu and everything was very tasty. Champagne available by the glass was certainly good. Very friendly and helpful service. Children also ate well. The carpaccio as a starter was delicious. Pasta and duck were also good in taste and desserts certainly do! Price quality fine, not expensive.

The ambiance of this restaurant is nice and warm. The staff are accomodating and speaks English. Our waiter was very kind to tell us that the pasta has butter when I told him that my som is allergic to butter, egg, cheese and milk. The food is superb! This is a little gem of a restaurant.

Un ottimo bar in una delle piazze più belle del Rione Monti. Abbiamo fatto colazione in una piovosa giornata. Abbiamo scelto del té preparato da loro anziché il caffè con cornetto ed é stata un’ottima scelta. In questo locale è possibile anche pranzare.

In such a busy tourist area, it was nice to find a place slightly above the average. We stopped at La Bottega del Caffè for coffee, tea and tiramisu, and it was a pleasant break. The coffee was good, and the tiramisu was served in its traditional style — something surprisingly hard to find these days. The dessert was well balanced in flavor and definitely above the standard tourist-trap sweets. Overall, a good spot to sit down, relax and enjoy something sweet, especially if you’re on your way back from the Colosseum.

Great location, off the main streets in more quiet zone. The coffee was good, pistachio croissant great 🥐, bruschetta ok (the bread was a little too hard and seemed a bit old), the lady who was serving us had a bit annoyed attitude like she’s having a bad day and she’s frustrated by toursits (which I get it totally, but still..), but I see in other comments that it’s just her regular attitude. Later she was better. There was also another lady later on and she was very nice.

Abbiamo preso questo tagliere, qualità ottima e camerieri molto gentili ed educati unica nota dolente è stato il bagno, per terra era tutto bagnato e pure sul wc, inoltre il bagno era misto, il che non è stato rilevante per me, fin quando però un ragazzo probabilmente perché la porta non aveva modo di chiudersi ha continuato a fare le sue cose tranquillamente mentre io mi lavavo le mani. Consiglierei maggiori cura per i servizi igienici

Non posso dare una grande valutazione su questo luogo perché ho solo preso un caffè. Comunque e ben posizionato in piazzetta Monti

Had an evening meal here,the Mrs had pasta 👍and I had a steak which they cooked at table side. I was asked how I wanted the steak cooked but what I asked for i did not get. I don't do un cooked meat but I got it rare. Not what I asked for. Big beer but it had a tang to it as thought the pipe weren't cleaned right.

Food was nice. Not the best in Italy but definitely good. Great value for money if you are looking after the pennies! Service could have been better.

– Rione Monti / Piazzetta Madonna dei Monti: La piazzetta della Madonna dei Monti avrebbe tutto per essere un angolo incantevole, ma viene rovinata da un bar che serve cibo e bevande di pessima qualità. Una vera occasione sprecata. In generale, il Rione Monti appare trascurato, sporco e poco curato, nonostante il potenziale storico e culturale. Peccato vedere un luogo così suggestivo ridotto in questo stato.

Bel locale, in posizione strategica. Staff particolarmente gentile e accogliente. Purtroppo, però tra i peggiori caffè trovati finora a Roma (nonostante il nome del luogo, che lasciava ben sperare). Caffè premacinato e ovviamente nessun risciacquo dei filtri. Caffè acquoso, acidità di stomaco istantanea.

Sabato sera scorso ho preso un cocktail di bassa qualità , pagato carissimo (9€) senza niente ad accompagnarlo, mi è rimasto sullo stomaco. Altra gente con me ha consumato un dolce modesto, una sottile fetta di torta pagata 7€, tutto carissimo, il cameriere è stato gentile ed efficiente ma nel complesso rapporto qualità prezzo scarso, non ci andrò mai più!

This place is the epitome of “average roman cafe”. The location is good. Off of a quiet side road located in a small square with a fountain. The menu is literally another homogenous copy cat. Same coffee options. A few croissants and baked goods with a limited sandwich offering. Not great, not terrible. But this place is questionable when it comes to cleanliness. Everything is stained and dirty. This lack of care seems to be a trend in this area, and I’m disappointed by this. Try harder next time.

Tourist trap! Avoid at all costs. The service was terrible, provided by an elderly waitress who clearly disliked her job. The salmon sandwich was made with old and stale bread and barely had any salmon. The only redeeming feature of this place is its location next to a beautiful fountain.

Since we arrived to ask if we could take a sit, the only women who we saw was a kind of old blond women and since the first contact she wasn't really nice... I could understand she was overwhelmed but wasn't they way.. then we ordered and I asked a coffee granita with cream (literally was written like that) thinking was a coffee cause was with the drinks.. and I asked a desser tiramisu (both were delicious) but she saw we ordered and I think that she could to explain to us that wasn't a drink at all but that was a dessert too... so we were at the table with 3 desserts and 1 drink... Anyway in general I found her attitude not really nice and could understand she's tired of tourists but it cost nothing to explain that wasn't a drink... I have to ask again another drink... Otherwise the desserts are amazing so delicious but the service... not good at all...

Hanno deciso autonomamente che avevamo terminato l’aperitivo e hanno portato il conto. Dopo un minuto hanno anche richiesto il pagamento, ci hanno chiaramente fatto capire che era l’ora di liberare il tavolo. Patatine del giorno precedente, pizzetta dura come il cemento (probabilmente anche quella del giorno prima). Esperienza da non ripetere.

Trovo disonesto il fatto che il caffè d'asporto costi molto di più rispetto al caffè al banco. Quando ho chiesto al cassiere il motivo di tale supplemento mi è stato detto che quei 30 centesimi servono per coprire il costo del bicchiere di carta...

The waiter misheard me, generally no problem, but when we confronted him and asked for the right drink he acted quite rude and didn’t believe me. When I got my cappuccino Freddo (iced) it tasted very watered down… and they had already spilled some on the little plate. On top of that they were out of tables, so when another family came they asked an older man sitting at a table next to us with his glass of water to hurry up and leave so the other customers could sit. Would not recommend this place Also quite expensive for what it is Rude staff

Tourist trap. We asked for omelette with tomatoes and onion they gave us omelette separate and tomatoes and onions separate. When I told them I needed the veggies inside the omelette cooked they cut those tomatoes and onions and just place it inside the omelette. If you can’t make a special request just say no. On that we got a comment saying this is not Indian restaurant. I also ordered a panini with cheese, instead of panini they gave us regular bread with mozzarella cheese. The cappuccino was served cold.

Beware, they bring you bread without you ordering it and then charge you for it. They didn’t show us an itemized bill before charging our credit card, then we looked and noticed the 2€ charge for bread. The manager gave us a 2€ coin as a refund when we challenged it. The paparadelle and bucatini were both tasty, but not with the stress of being scammed.

Absolutely terrible experience. We ordered the sandwich omelette and it was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever had in my life. The bread was old, dry, and practically inedible, t was so bad we couldn’t even finish it. Look at that poor piece of bacon in my plate 😂… Completely disappointing. The only remotely decent thing was the orange juice, and let’s be honest, it’s hard to mess that up. Would never come back. Avoid this place.

Very crusty margarita, penne with salmon, less than average, carbonara not even tasted like one. Very expensive tea... not sure why? And pork ribs very very salty and small portion for the money they ask. Do not recommend.
