We had a fabulous lunch here in the people could not have been nicer. Make sure you get the lasagna with the homemade sauce made by mama. Her daughter Barbara and her husband waited on us and they were super. The spaghetti with meatballs was delicious as was the ravioli with walnuts. Of course, walnuts are specialty of the Genova area. We had the tiramisu for dessert and it was good as well. I highly recommend this restaurant which is just one block off the main center of town.

The place is not a luxury restaurant, but it has the charm of a cozy, family-run eatery. It truly feels like you’re invited to someone’s home for a meal! 🏡❤️ The staff was incredibly welcoming 😊, making sure we felt comfortable from the start. The menu features classic Italian dishes—delicious pasta, fresh seafood, and perfectly cooked fish. 🍤🐠🍝 One of the highlights of our meal was the grilled calamari, which was absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and cooked just right! 🦑🔥👌 A big plus for the staff: they were very understanding when our 5-year-old daughter got a little restless and made a bit of a mess at the table. 🧒😅 They remained friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable for us as parents! 🙏❤️ When we arrived, we were the only ones there, but that’s just because Italians tend to dine later than we do. 🕖😄 The bill was in line with other restaurants in the area, so no surprises there. 💰✅ 🚨 Not for those seeking luxury! If you’re looking for a fancy, high-end restaurant, this is not the place. But if you’re a true foodie who appreciates authentic, well-cooked Italian dishes without unnecessary frills or overpriced menus, then Baicin is a hidden gem! 🍽️🤩 Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were looking for a good fritto misto and found it here. We were greeted with a warm welcome on entry and our lovely servers patiently indulged our travellers’ Italian. We also ordered a Zuppa Di Pesce which was full of fresh seafood. The fritto misto was perfectly executed with a light, crispy batter. There was no o greasy aftertaste. The calamari was tender and the prawns were fried just enough so the shell was completely edible. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and intend to go back for more!

Fish of the day was phenomenal. You could taste the wood fired grill and only needed to add lemon. Also had the pesto which was delicious. The service was great (I think the owner and his wife are the main staff) and loved that we found this gem away from all the tourist restaurants in the area!

This family owned restaurant has the food and ambience of real home made Italian. They serve simple dishes that are made with fresh ingredients and taste great. Strongly recommended.

Gentilezza, allegria e buon cibo in Santa Margherita Ligure. Consiglio piatti di pesce, fresco e cucinato bene. Dolci buoni e fatti in casa. Prezzi onesti, rari per la località in cui si trova: per due antipasti, due secondi (tutto di pesce), un contorno, un dolce, un caffè e acqua spesa contenuta di 70 euro. C è anche la possibilità di ordinare menù di degustazione che al prezzo di circa 25 euro danno l'opportunità di provare antipasto, primo e secondo. Consigliata la prenotazione soprattutto nei fine settimana estivi.

Piccoli porzioni, qualità prezzo non è il massimo. Mi fermo qua, cmq devono guadagnare e devono sopravvivere. Qualche grammi di pasta di più non farà male a nessuno, ma fare accontentare il cliente, chi scriverà meglio.

Capitato lì per caso, personale gentile e disponibile, prezzo un po caro visto la qualità del cibo non ottima.

Premettendo che abbiamo girato praticamente tutta Italia e richiesto la stessa cosa un pò dappertutto, siamo rimasti a dir poco sconvolti nel vedere il conto, dove un piatto di spaghetti al ragù, richiesto un pò abbondante, sia stato fatto pagare il doppio (20 euro un piatto abbondante di spaghetti???)... Poi due caffè 4 euro(bruciati tra l'altro)??? E due lattine di bibita 8 euro??? No comment... Al di là di questo il cibo era buono ma il conto davvero davvero esagerato per una trattoria. Non ci torneremo.

Pessima esperienza sono una cliente da 20 anni, stasera oggi 19 luglio 2025. Ci siamo fermati in quattro per cenare. Dopo averci assegnato il tavolo, ci siamo rialzati perché uno di noi sembrava avesse un problema, ci siamo scusati con la cameriera e ……. Il tutto è durato un nano secondo. Ci siamo riseduti ma la cameriera ci ha cacciato via in malo modo. Inutile dire che il ristorante Baicin ha perso dei clienti ventennali. In più sarà nostra premura sconsigliare altra gente. Dopo una lunga frequentazione, circa 20 anni, con inservienti con educazione siamo incappati in una cameriara CAFONA, MALEDUCATA ETC. Preferisco fermarmi per non cadere nella sua stessa maledizione. Caro BAICIN, SPERO CHE VI CAPITI UNA STAGIONE FALLIMENTARE.

It is terrible. I order a home-made dessert from the menu and it was terribly dry, as if it had been fresh for 2/3 days. Then I saw that other people served it with ice cream and it looked much better. I am terribly disappointed with this restaurant. If possible, don't sit there
