Always quality sushi and great service. Does get crowded during the lunch hours, but well worth it.
First time trying their food and it did not disappoint. Their veggie ramen was really good. I got it mild and it wasn't too spicy nor bland. I got it to go and it came in this little plastic bowl with the noddles and veggies at the top. Definitely would come back again.
Probably the best Ramen I've ever had.. i had the spicy koyjin Ramen... it was amazing and true to its name. Spicy but oh so good . The noodle texture hit differently here from previous Ramen shops they tasted amazingly good. Can't wait to come here more.. I normally never finish an entire bowl but as my pick shows there's always a first for everything
Absolutely delicious variety of ramens and sushi. A quiet and quick place to eat.
Was not expecting this restaurant. I was kinda tried of a normal bowl of ramen. Found this gem on Google coz it's close to my place. I ordered spicy Koji ramen not knowing what it was. After the first sip, I'm happy for visiting the restaurant. Spicy Koji ramen is a spicy season ramen with mussels, shrimps, squid and cabbages. I think the owner could be Korean? Thus the spice level and taste is kinda Korean. Overall good food.
Very quiet, very cutesy, amaazing food and great service. We came very early and it was so quiet and perfect. The miso ramen was so so delicious
Everything was fresh and delicious. The spicy garlic edamame 👍🏼
My husband and I were in town for an appointment and wanted to check out some great ramen. Koji Ramen had great reviews and they did not disappoint. The broth, the noodles and the pork were all amazing!! My husband had a salmon skin bowl and sushi roll and he loved them both! Great customer service and good prices, definitely recommend!
I live 2 minutes from this place and I'm so glad cause its literally mine and my daughters favorite place for sushi and ramen. The service is great, and the food always hits the spot. It may not be the best sushi or ramen but for a local small shop its really good.
Well the flavor is truly amazing, I enjoyed my visit ever time.. Great variety of great portions of food. Enjoy.
My waiter received a 20 dollar tip from us. My son wanted to try octopus for the first time, but we tried squid / calamari, California roll, rainbow roll, wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. It's a Japanese restaurant and everything, including the macaroons, just melts in your mouth. This is a five-star restaurant, and just by the sound that wock made at the back of the kitchen, I knew it was a good quality wock. Whomever my cooks were, we saluted you. Thank you for this unforgettable experience.
It was really good! I’ve had the spicy koji ramen and the double crunch roll and I highly recommend it! The service and atmosphere was amazing! 10/10 would come back again!
Food is always fresh 😋. Koji Ramen is so delicious
Ramen is good. The broth is rich and thick, made with real pork bone. Spicy koji ramen is based with Tonkotsu, with kimchi and seafood in, additional veggies, it’s really good. The only thing is that their noodles is thick while I personally prefer thinner (so that can eat faster) The price is very reasonable for students around here. Good option for students to dine out (it’s right next to cal poly Pomona)
Normally I choose Spicy Seafood ramen, this time I tried Kuro ramen and Tonkutsu ramen. Taste of Kuro one is really good and more pepper smells. I love it. Tonkutsu is just a standard taste and really good too
This place is amazing. They make their own noodles there and the broth for the miso soup is magic. I go there like once a week. No matter the weather. I always pair it with a spicy tuna roll.
Everything was good. Thank you
I finally tried Koji Ramen in Covina and I'm so glad we visited! This place is absolutely fantastic and deserves every bit of the 5 stars I'm giving it. Let me start with the food - I went absolutely PSYCHO for their Psycho Roll! The combination of flavors was mind-blowing and perfectly balanced. The albacore special was another standout - so fresh and melted in my mouth with that perfect texture you want in quality sashimi. The real surprise was their "Beyond Meat" ramen. As someone who's tried plant-based options at many restaurants, this was exceptional. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the plant-based protein was perfectly prepared - you might not even realize it wasn't traditional meat! Even though we ordered takeout, the service was impeccable. Elizabeth was incredibly sweet, helpful, made sure our order was correct, and packaged everything carefully so it would travel well. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail made the experience that much better. The portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the quality was top-notch. If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine with creative twists in the Covina area, Koji Ramen is absolutely worth a visit. I'm already planning what to try on my next visit! Highly recommended for both ramen lovers and sushi enthusiasts alike - Koji Ramen delivers excellence across their menu.
While the space is compact, it offers a comfortable setting for a quick meal. The Shrimp Udon was flavorful and satisfying. I also enjoyed the 3 Amigo roll, which was exceptionally delicious. I anticipate ordering these items again. My son ordered the Black Yasai Ramen and found it enjoyable; the portion size was generous, and he took the remainder to go. Overall, the cuisine was excellent, and the staff demonstrated both friendliness and attentiveness.
100% Yes... and why has it taken me so long to visit this restaurant?! Small spot, next to Carls Jr., you can't miss it. The service was great, and there is a good number of selections on the menu to choose from. I settled for a baked salmon roll, veggie gyoza, and a shrimp and veggie mixed tempura. From what I've tasted so far, this place has the best tempura appetizers in the area - I highly recommend adding it to your order. The baked salmon roll is flavorable and really good. Koji is definitely my new spot!
Great spot scratch your ramen itch! Been coming here for some time now as my work is nearby. Place always hits the spot, and sometimes a little too much. The broths are delicious and hearty, and the noodles are a thick egg noodle. Together you get a really filling ramen. Considering I come here during my work hours, these filling meals helps me get through my shift. The Koji Rolls and sides are good too. I like the Takoyaki, fried squid, and the Alaska Roll. Staff here has always been great too. Friendly, and attentive. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend this place :)
It's very nice having a sushi and ramen place next to campus. They have amazing sushi and ramen. I went back to get the california roll today cause it tasted really good. I tried tonkatsu ramen for the first time from their restaurant, and it was very good! New go to takeout place for ramen and sushi.

The food is amazing. My daughters and I can’t stop eating every time we go. We had to take the ice cream macarons to go because we were so full. And even the macarons were delicious. We will definitely being going here regularly!
Hi! I just wanted to leave a review about this place. I rarely do this, but it’s definitely worth it! I’m a picky eater, and I’ve been to many ramen spots around LA, but this place is better than most in LA. The food is high quality, and the flavor is amazing! That chili paste is so good — you can really taste every ingredient. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area again. Service-wise, it was also excellent. I forgot the server’s name, but she was incredibly attentive and kind. I hope she gets lots of tips, she truly deserves them! She had such positive energy, and that’s exactly what a business needs, especially since she handled the first interactions with all the customers. Props to her!
Even tho only one waitress she got us all taken care of and the food was delicious. I had the spicy seafood noodle and my sister had the veggies tofu noodle that was amazingly delicious as well
I ordered the Spicy Koji Ramen and was honestly a bit hesitant at first. Even though I like seafood, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it in ramen. I’m really glad I tried it, because it completely won me over. The broth was savory and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of richness and a touch of heat that didn’t overwhelm the other flavors. The presentation was excellent. Everything looked fresh and inviting when it arrived. The portion size was just right: very satisfying without feeling too heavy. It left me full and happy. Overall, I loved this ramen and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys bold flavors. That said, I’d probably order something different next time simply because the menu has so many other options I’m excited to explore!
Ordered the Black Yasai Ramen and it was absolutely amazing! Substituted chicken for the pork, medium spicy and no dried seaweed…excellent choice! Full of veggies and lots of chicken and the broth was delicious,
Great food every time. One of my favorite ramen places. Love the new menu items.
Always quality sushi and great service. Does get crowded during the lunch hours, but well worth it.

This was my first time here, I heard good things about the food. And they were correct. The food was phenomenal. Unfortunately, that is all that was positive about my visit. To start, you have to order and pay upfront. So if you want seconds or add anything, you'll have to stand in line and pay again. I asked for recommendations and got short, fast answers. You don't have many options for beverages, bottles, and cans only. I ordered four appetizers and asked for them to come out first. They didn't. I'm not one to complain, so I just made the most of it. I might be back.
I have ordered take away from here a few times. Like that you can mix and match the broth and soup. The spicy kim chi is tasty. The black garlic broth is also good. The egg is well cooked. The pork is very tender. Nice ramen spot. The potstickers are also yummy! I have also tried their sushi and it is very good...salmon sashimi, rolls, and seaweed salad are all great!!
Sushi was good and fresh. You order at the counter and then take your seat. Food came out fast and soup was hot and tasty. I had the Udon. Very quiet atmosphere. No cocktails.
Took a chance and wanted to try out a Ramen spot. Koji's did not let us down. Excellent food. Ordered the Tonkutsu Ramen combo with gyoza. The family order some of the other Ramens as well. All were good. Definitely our new go to when at Cal Poly!!!
I like the variety in the bento box, how it came with soup and how even each piece of the tempura had a different thing in it. The main part of the meal for me, the chicken and salad, was good. But I didn't really like the California roll because the taste of the crab paste. It was a filling meal overall. The server was also considerate and helpful, he warned me that it came with soup and to hold the to-go bag from the bottom so it didn't spill.
I've been here a few times, the Ramen is great with good variety, miso soup is a bit on the salty side but warm and delicious, their sushi is out of this world delicious. Definitely a great lunch spot. Only thing I don't like is they are closed Sundays when I get my break near them.
Finally, I had the opportunity to try this restaurant. I ordered spicy koji ramen and chasu bowl. The ramen is well-served with a good amount of seafood and noodles are just right in texture. However, the chasu bowl isn't recommended. The taste is quite plain, and there are only two pieces of meat. Please note that you won't receive a full service restaurant as they will have to order from the cashier and they will bring out when it's finished. Inside seating is acceptable, with minimal Japanese decor. I believe this establishment is primarily owned by Koreans. Overall, the experience of eating ramen was satisfactory.

Not from this part of town, but I’ve been here twice. Really good ramen. Better than a lot of well known shops in little Tokyo. Lots of choices and selections of ramen types and ingredients as well as sushi rolls. Nice and very accommodating shop with excellent service.
Overall it's a good eat. No 5 because the serving size is relatively small compared to similar restaurants in the area and the flavor didn't separate itself from the competition. I do like the home made noodles but like I said, others in the same area with same quality but features more noodles. But still a solid 4/5

I think this place makes delicious food. My only complaint is that for the price you pay, the portion is really small. I’m one who doesn’t eat much as it is and normally eat small portions, but their portions are ridiculous even for me. For one of the bowls, you’ll get a lot of rice and salad with 5 pieces of protein priced at $15. Not a place I’d go on a daily basis but I would come back if I’m craving their food which is like a couple of times a year.
The ramen was very mediocre. The noodles were decent. However the broth was somewhat bland. When it comes to ramen, the broth is very important. Maybe I came on an off night but it just was overall not that great. I hope your experience is better than mine.
Gyoza was good, but the takoyaki is weird. Inside is like runny porridge, and there wasn’t even octopus in half of them. The batch of pork broth me and my partner got was weird: tasted just salty and oily, not rich or porklike at all: I’m saying it’s just the batch because there are a lot of reviews praising the pork broth, so I’m sure it was just unfortunate for us. They said spicy sauce on the side was an option, but we never got it. Chashu was chewy and cold, and we got just two pieces each: It’s not a horrible place, but why go here when there are so many better places to go in the area? Would have rather taken the bus to Slurpin’ or Kopan. Doesn’t help that Koji isn’t any cheaper than the places I just mentioned. Service was good, though. Was fun hearing chef callouts and banter since we sat close to the kitchen.
Ramen is fine. Just don't order spicy tuna bowl as it is really bad. We probably will not come back to this place as other ramen places such as slurping ramen is way better. As for other Japanese food, I would rather go to Ninja Sushi...
Purchased food today per recommendation of a family member I am extremely disappointed their was hair in our food. We went back to the restaurant to return the food and when we received another set of entrees due to the issue we found hair again. Highly doubt I will be a returning client
