Easily the best Italian food I've had in DC. The servers are warm and attentive without being overbearing. The prices are very reasonable. I have taken my wife and friends here several times and have yet to be disappointed. The chicken parm and tiramisu are exceptional.

My husband I stopped here on vacation & wish we lived closer to go often. The food and service were wonderful. The menu has a huge variety of dishes, beyond the usual Italian foods we often see. This is some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had! Everything was so delicious! You can really tell that they use incredibly fresh ingredients when preparing all of the dishes. It really adds to the authentic Italian flavor. In addition, the service is amazing! Our waiter Zeke was so friendly and attentive! We are so lucky that we came at the perfect time to get a table, but we would recommend getting a reservation on busy days.

Our waiter, Shah, is very attentive and professional. The seafood zuppa de pesce is delicious. The Alfredo fettuccine is so-so. Fried calamari and zucchini are ok. The foods are large in portion. Toilet is clean too. I asked for some basil leaves and was charged $2. So careful about asking anything extra, even basil leaves.

Amazing food and for a wonderful price! We came here on a lunch date and were very happy to catch the lunch special so two of our dishes were only for $14!! The chicken parmigiana tasted so fresh and delicious, very tender, and great portion size! The manicotta was the best I’ve ever had, very saucy and flavorful. The tiramisu was amazing so fluffy and tasted super authentic, everything tasted like we were in Italy! Great drinks and great food. The service was amazing, we didn’t catch his name, but our waiter was very attentive and friendly. He gave us some great suggestions on the menu for our first time there. We left full, happy, and very satisfied. I’ll definitely be back often and recommending anyone I can. Definitely give them a try!

Came across this gem of an Italian restaurant within walking distance of our accommodation. We had the Linguine Florence and Combo Ravioli for the mains. Fantastic flavors and large portions. We topped the meal off with the cheese cake and cannoli. Meals brought out in a timely manner by the waiter Zeke who was more than accommodating in his service.

Hands down, some of the most delicious Italian food I've ever eaten! While visiting D.C. for a couple days, we decided to find a local Italian restaurant for dinner. Pines of Florence didn’t disappoint! The Chicken Parmigiana was delicious! We also had the Linguine Florence and the Tortellini a la Panna. We would have ordered one of everything if we could have!! Our server Navi & his wife did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and suggesting some of their family favorites! To top off the dinner we had a slice of cheesecake and a fresh cannoli. Thanks again Navi for a wonderful dinner!

Some of the best service I’ve received in a long time. The food was amazing as well! Navi helped us and was extremely professional. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was great. We finished the night with Cannoli which was also very good. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for great food and great service.

This place was great! I got the pesto pasta, and it was amazing! The flavor of the pesto with the pasta and chicken tasted delicious! The server was super nice and very friendly! And the atmosphere was great. Trust me, the photos do not capture the greatness of this food.

My husband and I went in tonight out of curiosity since we are vacation. I really wanted Italian food, and everywhere else was loud, busy, or didn’t have availability for us. Thank goodness we missed out because let me tell you this place did NOT disappoint. The staff was SO friendly and recommended the white beans for the appetizer, it was simply amazing. I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and it was so buttery and delicious. 10/10 would come back here again with my husband. It was quiet, clean, and overall a cute little place to dine into. My husband and I already said when we are back in DC we would definitely make our way back to this restaurant. I would highly suggest coming here!!

I was craving Italian for days and this place did more than hit the spot. My husband and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary and this place was absolutely superb. From the delicious pasta to the incredible service, we were so impressed. The best place we have eaten in Washington DC by far. Shaw and Haamad were extremely friendly and provided phenomenal and timely service. The pesto linguini and Florence linguini were our favorites. 🍝 we will definitely be back and will recommend this to anyone we know visiting.

Bella animazione per bimbi, cibo mediamente buono, il servizio non sempre buono: ci è capitato in un paio di occasioni di ricevere un piatto differente o leggermente differente (a causa di incomprensioni nel prendere gli ordini). As part of our anniversary visit to DC, we decided on this restaurant. I had been to the previous version in Arlington and remembered it and sure enough the food is great. The service was great and they made it special. We enjoyed ourselves.

Spazioso e luminoso, locale con ampie sala e tanti tavoli, completa di sala giochi per bambini. Gli antipasti sono quelli della festa, della condivisione come il tagliere dell’amicizia xxl con tanti salumi, formaggi e frittura, oppure hanno lo gnocco fritto o le montanare. I primi della tradizione come carbonara, amatriciana, pomodoro e stracciata o porcini. 4 secondi dai gusti decisi: cotoletta doppia impanatura, insalata di polpo, fritto di mare e gianciotte brasate. Poi insalate e Burger vari. E ultima ma non ultima: la griglia. Tagliata, rustichella, grigliata mista. Insomma impossibile non trovare un piatto da provare, da soddisfare una voglia, da condividere con qualcuno. Cibo in quantità e servizio puntuale e preciso. Ci ha servito una ragazza gentile, piacevole, sempre presente al tavolo e sempre sorridente. Un buon locale per fare festa, hanno anche il calcio-balilla e la tv con lo sport.

Cibo pessimo…..pizza cruda e poco digeribile. Birra al limite dell’accettabile. La carne è precotta e poi riscaldata. Un peccato, perché la struttura per i bambini è bella e funzionale. Il prezzo non è dei più abbordabili, ma se si considera la struttura per i bambini che comprende una ragazza che li guarda direi che è giusto

Locale grande, moderno, luminoso ma rumoroso. Il pranzo di Natale è stato di livello basso: antipasti misti con qualche fatta di affettati, focaccia secca, insalata russa senza sale. Lasagna allo zafferano insapore; i pomodori confit proposti dal menù erano dei semplici pomodorini crudi, i mandarini non li hanno portati e il pandoro era una fetta sottilissima. Non valeva assolutamente i 45 euro di costo.

The only positive aspect of this restaurant is the kids playground area. The food was bad, really fatty and poor quality. The service was bad too, not friendly and quite unprofessional. Additionally the toilet were pretty disgusting.

These guys are SKIMPY!! This was our 12-inch pizza. We ordered it with three toppings, 1) Beef Sausage, 2) Mushrooms, and 3) Fresh Parsley. It tasted fine; a bit like a better frozen pie. But we were upset by how little toppings we got. We counted six(6) bits of sausage. And a shockingly small sprinkling of mushrooms. Toppings were pricy at $2.50 each. So …just being real… we’re never coming back.

Metto una stella solo per l’area bimbi. Tutto il resto incommentabile…pizza cruda che chiamarla pizza è un complimento dato che sembra una pinsa, fatta male tra l altro, cruda e pomodoro acido. I piatti ancora peggio, eravamo una tavolata di circa 12 adulti, non ce ne era uno decente. Prezzi troppo alti per la qualità, pollo che loro chiamano polletto altro non è che un pollo bollito, gli hamburger tutto pane praticamente senza carne…delusione totale…peccato perché tempo fa si mangiava bene e con il potenziale che hanno è veramente uno spreco!!!

we were extremely disappointed by the treatment of the manager this last Sunday. It used to be a restaurant where we would go with pleasure and recommend to friends but I will never do so again! The manager in question - rude and unpleasant to be around!
