Wood fire brick oven pizza worth the carbs. We got the tartufo truffle and egg pizza. The crust was perfect and it was delicious. The egg on top was a game changer. I would go back and try more things. They have lots of other things besides pizza but we didn’t have a chance to try. We sat at the bar and watched the pizza makers work their magic.

Tried this restaurant on the spur of the moment. We sat outside. Our server, Curtis, was awesome as was our food. We had the vodka rigatoni, the Doppio Ravioli which is actually a ravioli with two separate fillings in one…delicious! We had the Quattro formaggio pizza which was my favorite and the peach pizza. Everything was awesome! Looking forward to a return visit!

What a lovely jawn. Inside near the brick oven, or outside looking at the beauty philly street. The menu is great, and the price is really good. Pistachio Pizza and gelati.... YES PLEASE! You can bring your fur babies, cause they even have dishes outside for them. It is a special philly spot, a definite must try.

We stopped by one random Friday night and sat outside, ordering the calamari and mushroom pizza. The food was delicious, and the ambiance inside looked very inviting. Our server was also friendly which of course adds to the experience. Lastly, I’d recommend making a reservation and arriving a bit early, as street parking is limited. That said, there is a nearby garage if you don't mind paying for parking.

First time coming to Stella’s and it did not disappoint, the service was great, our waitress was very kind, and the food was amazing! The dough is to die for, it’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We ordered a pepperoni and a mushroom pizza and as an appetizer the whipped ricotta. I have nothing o say but 10/10 for everything. Would definitely go back and already told my sister who’s a pizza lover that next time she’s in town I’m taking her!

Pizzeria Stella offers great food paired with craft cocktails and a nice wine selection. The restaurant has a rustic vibe with a lively atmosphere, thanks to its low-lit, open space. Everything we tried was excellent. I especially loved the salad—the dressing was outstanding. Highly recommend for a cozy yet vibrant dining experience!

The grilled octopus was very good. Sometimes octopus is a little too chewy for me, but this had a nice crispy bite. The rigatoni was delicious, the sauce was so creamy. And the desserts were tasty. Great environment and great pizza!

Olive oil gelato was the highlight of our dinner. It might sound strange, but olive has is used in many Mediterranean sweet dishes. We tried two other types of gelato, were tasty as well. The pizza was one of a kind. We had spinach and another seasonal. Had also grilled octopus for a starter. Service was professional and attentive. We had an outside table. Nice atmosphere and neighborhood

Amazing wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta. Fried calamari with shishito peppers and lemons was excellent. The donuts were delicious, but were more of a heavy fried dough than a donut. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Location was great, as was the ability to sit outside with our dog. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The pizza is pretty amazing, albeit a bit pricey. However, it is a Stephen Starr restaurant and therefore there’s a high bar for quality. Pasta is handmade and delicious although portions are on the smaller side. A much beloved neighborhood institution!

I Went with a group for pizza to carb-load for a race over the weekend and the service was amazing. Food was fine, nothing extravagant and it all seemed fresh. But Everything had a lemon-y taste to it - not sure if it was me or the way neapolitan food is made, but I couldn't taste anything else. Otherwise we had a really nice time with decwnt apps and Pizza. Unfortunately, the food did not sit well for me the following day.

The sauce was really good. However the rest was just ok. Flavor was good, but it was floppy and all the toppings fell off the pizza because the crust was so thin and floppy. You need to eat this with a fork and knife. Decently priced. Just wish the crust held up and wasn't so flimsy.

I hate leaving lower starred reviews but this place fell flat for me. The pizza was just okay- the sauce was bland and overall I do not think it is worth 22 dollars for a small pizza. I feel like red pepper and parmesan should be at every table or served with the pizza and you shouldn’t have to ask, however once we did receive red pepper it made the pizza a bit more flavorful. I will also give credit to the fact that the pizza is made fresh right in front of you. The doughnuts were not good and tasted like hard left over pizza dough that was tossed in cinnamon sugar. I paid 5 dollars for a soda and the waitress seemed mad that we asked for a refill! The total for one soda, a pizza, and inedible doughnuts plus tip was over 40 dollars. I paid cash and the waitress brought me my bills but no change. I don’t really care about getting my quarters and dimes back but i think it’s rude that she didn’t even ask? I am surprised this is a Starr restaurant as I’ve always had positive experiences at the other restaurants under this umbrella. I would rather go to a mom and pop owned pizza place, but this is just my personal opinion :)
