Posto trovato per caso ma che ha saputo conquistarmi subito. La proprietaria è un po tutto fare (credo che l'unica cosa che non faccia sia la cuoca) sa entrare in intimità con ogni cliente: di estrema empatia e propositivitá nel suo essere accogliente e sorridente. Io sono canara e non gattara, ma questo posto ti rapisce e ti porta in un'altra dimensione. Sicuramente non è adatto a ragazzi o comitive di teenager, si rivolge a una clientela più ricercata per palato e prezzo. È un posto che consiglio vivamente anche solo per un pranzo in solitaria ed estraniarsi dalla realtà. Toppissimo!
Un’esperienza bellissima. La proprietaria molto accogliente e disponibile. Cibo buonissimo. Posto romantico… La presenza del pianista Roberto ha reso il tutto ancora più magico. Consigliatissimo!!!
Per gli amanti del gusto, dell’eleganza, della qualità del cibo e varietà dei vini, questo ristorante merita assolutamente d’essere “degustato” con tutti i sensi. Semplicemente Originali audaci e passionali con un ' ottima scelta di vini e prodotti di qualità .Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di fare un salto qui. La qualità delle materie prime emerge in piatti curati e di gusto tutto buonissimo. La proprietaria gentilissima e attenta ad ogni richiesta, ci siamo sentiti proprio coccolati come a casa. Wow! È un posto fantastico, fuori dal comune! La ti senti come in una casa super-accogliente, luce soffusa, tappeti, figure e immagini dei gatti ovunque. Non ha niente a che vedere con i ristoranti di oggi. Cucina buonissima, ti viene voglia di stare in questo posto il più tempo possibile. Complimenti alla titolare Sabina per l'accoglienza. Posto fantastico. Location assolutamente rilassante e molto ben curata, la proprietaria è una signora solare e accoglie i suoi ospiti in maniera impeccabile. Il menù è ricco di piatti tipici e i prodotti sono di altissima qualità. I dolci fatti in casa sono buonissimi e ci è stato offerto anche un rum davvero ottimo. Lo consiglio assolutamente, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo e il servizio è stata la parte migliore della serata.
Una piccola osteria nascosta nelle viette di Salò vicino al lago di Garda. La location ricorda un po' l'ambientazione di alice in Wonderland. Sicuramente le proprietarie sono appassionate di gatti. La cucina è ottima le porzioni sono abbondanti. Abbiamo preso il manzo affumicato con aceto balsamico e la polenta con cervo. Ottimo anche i dolci che sono sicuramente fatti in casa. Quando qualcuno realizza il tuo sogno non puoi che essere felice. Sabina è una padrona di casa eccezionale, simpatica e preparata. Non da meno Ada in cucina, il cibo è ottimo, ben curato e servito su piatti di una raffinatezza unica. La cantina dei vini è di altissimo livello, così come quella dei liquori. Tornerò presto in questo locale perché è qui che si respirano i sogni
Luogo a dir poco incantevole. Magico. I prezzi sono un poco più alti di quelli di un ristorante "comune", ma la qualità e il tipo di ricette li valgono tutti... Davvero ottimi piatti, curati, porzioni buone, a volte direi anche abbondanti. Buona scelta di piatti Vegetariani. I vini sono ottimi, niente carta, si scelgono direttamente nell'esposizione, su ogni bottiglia c'è il prezzo e partono da circa 30 euro fino ad alcune centinaia di euro... E tutti ottimi vini. Obbligatorio prenotare, i posti sono pochi. Il tempo d'attesa per i piatti è lungo, ma lo giustifico serenamente col fatto che ogni cosa e cucinata è preparata con cura al momento. Che dire, ormai è diventato il mio ristorante preferito. Consigliatissimo.
Gli interni del locale sono esuberanti, simpatici, ricercati e curatissimi, il posto è veramente molto bello e l'atmosfera che sono riusciti a creare è stupenda Il cibo è ottimo, noi abbiamo preso solo 2 primi ma erano entrambi davvero molto buoni e molto grandi! Dopo quelli difatti non abbiamo preso altro La signora che serve ai tavoli è molto gentile, attenta e solare, riesce veramente a "chiudere il cerchio" e a rendere l'esperienza in questo locale fantastica anche dal punto di vista dell'accoglienza I prezzi sono altini... 16 euro per un primo e 4 di coperto non sono per tutte le tasche, c'è da dire d'altronde che la qualità si paga, e se uno vuole concedersi una "coccola" questo è il posto giusto!!

Trovato per caso, posto incredibilmente fantastico particolarissimo fuori dal tempo arredato in modo straordinario sembra d'entrare in un altro mondo. Proprietaria gentilissima ed attenta ad ogni bisogno. Sono accettati in modo veramente eccezionali gli animali. Cibo curato ed saporito idem vini e alcolici. Ho mangiato davvero bene.
È vero, è un locale importante e questo potrebbe essere un limite, ma poi tu entri e tutto ti avvolge... Il tempo ti porta ai fasti degli anni venti con lampadari di grande effetto, candelabri d'argento, bicchieri di vetro soffiato, tovaglie ricamate con mobili antichi, pareti ricche di storia e una piacevole musica di sottofondo. Non è il "mio" locale, ma non può che coinvolgermi e mettermi a mio agio. Apro il menù e i prezzi mi colpiscono! Però il bicchiere di vino da 10 euro si rivela un ballon grande come la mia faccia con il doppio del volume normale (trà il resto un ottimo Montepulciano). Guardo sorridendo la mia amica mentre scegliamo due primi tra i tanti proposti a 25 euro ma quando arrivano le tagliatelle al tartufo nero del Garda (distribuito in maniera generosa) e la premiata pasta fatta in casa con uva, mirtillo e pancetta croccante, non possiamo che condividere una smorfia stupefatta. La signora Sabina (spero di non sbagliare il nome), è poi il valore aggiunto. Ama il suo lavoro, consiglia, descrive e ti accompagna durante la serata ma sempre...in punta di piedi. Alla fine, quando sei stato davvero bene, anche il costo passa in secondo piano. Ti sei regalato un'emozione, una "coccola" che ti rimarrà in memoria.
Cercavo un posto per una serata speciale e il Gatto d’oro mi ha conquistato. Oltre ai piatti deliziosi, abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la cura nella scelta dei vini. Sorseggiare un rosso di corpo in un ambiente così curato e accogliente è stato il massimo del relax. Il servizio è preparato e sa consigliare la bottiglia giusta per ogni gusto. Eccezionali nell'accoglienza sia verso me che verso il mio cane, la musica suonata al pianoforte ha accompagnato un delizioso pranzo in solitaria. Tagliolini al mirtillo con pomodorini uva e pancetta davvero memorabili, mai mangiati con questa qualità e cura. Grazie per l'esperienza, consiglio di provare Osteria Gatto d'oro.
Un posto davvero delizioso, perfetto per un pranzo tranquillo. L’atmosfera è intima e accogliente, sembra proprio di essere a casa. Il locale è curato e trasmette calore, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. La titolare è stata gentilissima e molto attenta, facendoci sentire subito benvenute. Un luogo in cui tornare volentieri.
A prescindere da quello che state cercando, è un posto da provare. L’atmosfera è incredibilmente unica e particolare; caratterizzata dalla mobilia raffinata ed antica, le pregiate bottiglie di vino spiccano nell’occhio e gli elementi decorativi sono molti ma ben immersi in questo contesto altamente singolare. L’accoglienza è familiare, calda e ulteriormente avvolta dal carisma è l’energia di Sabrina. La vasta scelta di piatti non sembra essere a caso, dai primi che sono ricercati ma con ingredienti semplici e conosciuti, ovviamente di alta qualità; i secondi, caratteristici e tipici dell’area in cui siamo, dall’ossobuco, al galletto allo spezzatino, i quali sono tutti preparati a puntino. Posso affermare che è un posto di altri tempi, un posto in cui la parola lusso, non può oggi essere utilizzata perchè la si deve riservare per una stella Michelin, ma che io vorrei utilizzare perchè resta un lusso, trovare un posto come questo, di rarissima raffinatezza nel servizio, nei piatti e nelle persone che lo gestiscono. Un’attenzione che che va dalla scelta della foglia di salvia a quella della scelta di un meraviglioso piatto decorato per il dolce, alla bottiglia di vino fino all’amaro di sconosciutissima fama. Insomma un’esperienza che eve essere provata non solo per il cibo, ma per capire cosa oggi si è perso e cosa sia davvero il LUSSO di stare bene in un’osteria!
I have never had an experience quite like it, perfect is the only way to describe it. The staff are lovely and welcoming, however not much English but this didn’t matter as the service was amazing. A beautiful piano player in the background with delicious food, couldn’t recommend enough!! Sadly no cat to be seen, but the decor was beautifully cat inspired!
Absolutely amazing experience! Yes, a little pricier than other restaurants nearby, but 100% worth it. We’ve been travelling around Italy for two weeks and this was by far the best food I’ve had. Huge wine selection you can pick from yourself, and our bottle was beautifully decanted. Service was warm and attentive, and we even got to meet the chef — she was so passionate and inspiring. Truly the highlight of our trip! An honourable mention to Roberto on the piano (the chef’s neighbour) he brought tear to both my partner and I eye.
OMG what can I say! Me and my partner have travelled Italy and we were blown away. Yes it is expensive compared to where we were staying but it was completely and utterly worth it! An experience in itself. Don’t shy away from this place. Me and my partner are both writing a review as we speak and we both couldn’t rate it more. From the kind lady who make the pasta to the lady who cooks it and roberto on the piano! Sensational!
What a great spot! While it’s clearly a cat-loving place, our dog was more than welcome—even got a warm hello from the lovely resident poodle. The food was fantastic, and yes, we fully enjoyed a mega pint (or two) of wine. The wine and spirits selection is wild—in the best way. The host was super welcoming, and we had some great, laid-back conversations. She even helped us rent a boat the next day, which was incredibly generous. If you’re on the west side of Lago di Garda (Maderno is, by the way), this place is a must-visit
TLDR: Amazing vegan options (I counted 15) that are NOT marked, but just talk with the owner and they will set you up. I have a picture of the English menu with the vegan options highlighted in green from my memory of the owner telling me about while we were there. There may be more or less when you visit. Atmosphere: Cat motifs EVERYWHERE. Cat paintings, sculptures, pillow cases, cushions, and so much more. If you hate cats... well do you even have a soul? It is over the top and cozy and eclectic and fun and we loved it! Service: The owner is very nice and speaks multiple languages including English and German. The menu is translated in Italian, French, German, and English for easy reading. I asked the owner why the vegan options are not marked, she said they didn't want the menu to look messy and for people not to order the vegan options because they are afraid of the word. I totally get that and recommended to her that they should create a small menu for vegans separately that people could ask for and easily order from. I really hope they do that! Food: Delicious! We ate there for lunch and dinner as there were no good vegan options in the area and we were not disappointed. The red sauce as a tad too sweet for our liking and the truffle pasta has a little too much salt, but that is just a matter of taste. Literally, every dish is made from scratch right then and there so be prepared to wait and enjoy. They are NOT doing the typical assembly line prep of a professional kitchen. This is like your family cooking for you and you feel the love! Overall, everything was delicious, huge, and super interesting! The menu is filled with unique takes on classic dishes that no other restaurant in the area has. 10/10 and would definitely visit again! P.S. if you like wine... they have REALLY generous pours in glasses larger than my wife's head.

We enjoyed our dinner so much. That's not going out to eat - that's going out to experience. The atmosphere of the place is very special - it feels very out of the ordinary and we loved it! Silver cutlery, beautiful dishes, endless details. The food was good and very special! We loved the blueberry pasta - something you wouldn't really expect to try 😅 The dessert was exceptional!
The restaurant is a must visit! The interior is fascinating, the owner is super nice and the food is just amazing! Freshly made pasta by the wonderful chef, truffles, home made olive oil and so much more! EXTREMELY PET FRIENDLY, all pets are super welcome here! The red wine by the glass was perfect! A truly wonderful restaurant and evening. The owner was so kind and very accommodating to my vegan husband. There was a very cute dog that walked around too. Our food was delicious and we went with recommendations. By far the best food we’ve had in Italy in a long time. The hazelnut gnocchetti alone is worth a dinner. A must visit.
This cozy Osteria was one of the most beautiful, delicious, and emotional restaurants I have ever been to. The two ladies who own or run this Osteria are not only the two experts in service and hospitality but also the two nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in a restaurant. The atmosphere of Osteria is indescribable. It's as if you're at home as soon as you enter. This place is a real culinary journey. The food is selected with such care that it elevates this wonderful place to the level of a Michelin-star restaurant. The flavors and the plates are amazing, and you can choose your own wine for all of them, which get from the cellar to your table. We spent more than four hours here without even noticing the passage of time. This wonderful Osteria gives both the soul and the stomach a real and sensual experience. It's not just a restaurant, it's a place for a culinary and hospitality experience. Ladies! I give you 10 stars and I raise my hat to your hospitality and gastronomic professionalism! had some amazing food there (especially the truffle gnocchi, absolutely delicious!). the woman who served us who i believe was the owned too was so so sweet and dedicated, offered to make us special cocktails and overall served us in such a cheerful manner. even got offered free rum shots as we were leaving! highly recommend coming here :)
Amazing experience, the owner treated us with warm hospitality and food was delicious. Service was fantastic and decor of the restaurant is so unique. We tasted completely different dishes and each of them was so tasty: buratta with truffles, artichokes, duck leg, truffle tagliatelle, deer with polenta and chicken. It was a beautiful experience in the beginning, the owner of the restaurant is definitely a pro on how to brainwash the tourists minds... The prices was a bit spicy and we was thinking maybe we should pass on it, but the atmosphere and the restaurant were stunning, so we decided to give it a try. Then it was a nightmare, we paid triple the price for normal Italian food, the portions were small, the wine was delicious but absolutely not worth 40€, we found the same bottle online for only 9€. You are in a local restaurant with local food not in a Michelin restaurant, you don't get for the money something exclusive just cheap overpriced food. So from my point of view, definitely not worth the experience...
We went as a group and were pretty excited since the reviews were good. We knew it might be a bit pricey, but the portions were super small—25€ felt like a lot for what we got. The owner even mentioned the portions might be too big for one person, so getting tiny plates was kind of a letdown. The Aperol Spritz was 17€, which is crazy when nearby spots have it for like 6,50€ to max 9€. We also ended up waiting an hour for the food. It tasted good, but honestly, it just wasn’t worth it for the price.
