Simple restaurant with good value for money! Good selection of dishes (there's no menu, they're written on a blackboard). Good portions. Fresh mixed salad. Fast, friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Very good location near the highway. Suggestion for improvement: Refresh the appearance and entrance area (including the doors). The not-so-good reviews initially made me doubt it, but these doubts turned out to be unfounded.
Four of us had lunch at the Nuova Pentolaccia da Gabry on a Saturday, on our way to the Napoleonic Museum at Castello di Mombasiglio. The lunch was very good. Well-prepared traditional food, served quickly by cheerful attentive staff. Baked toma with speck, rabbit with polenta, pasta with butter and sage, and pasta with mushrooms were all delicious.
A great restaurant and pizzeria in Ceva. The food is good, and the pizza (which we didn't order) was very inspiring, so it'll be a reason to return. The place is spacious and modern. The service is attentive and friendly. The prices are moderate and reasonable. They even gave us some fresh homemade bread at the counter, which was a very welcome touch. Definitely recommended and worth a try.

Reading the menu, you feel at home. Simple but excellent food that stimulates the desire to taste them all. It was, perhaps, a special day, due to the large amount of customers. The two areas that characterize the location were constantly and repeatedly full. This situation caused a delay in the service of the second course, for which we waited 52 minutes. But despite the long wait, the quality of the dishes exceeded expectations. Not to mention the quality/price ratio. An experience to repeat.
Easy parking. Very clean restrooms with flowers. Only one for men. Very thin pizza for those who love that kind of thing. I prefer it with a thick crust. The waitress is very kind to the kids: excellent! Prices are medium to high. Industrial dessert. They serve two scoops of profiteroles. Shouldn't there have been three? They don't accept restaurant vouchers and don't give separate bills, even if the place isn't full. There's an outdoor veranda, which is a shame because customers smoke in your face while you eat. Water is served from on-site filters, ideal for those who are against bottled water, but less so for those who don't trust the filters, which can harbor bacteria if not replaced regularly.
Clean, tidy, and welcoming atmosphere. Extremely accessible, even for those with walking difficulties. Friendly staff and excellent restrooms. Dinner menu (evenings in July) with restaurant prices. Portions are basic, but not paltry. It's a good option for a quick stopover, especially given its proximity to the highway. At lunchtime, you can enjoy a good, affordable menu. Personally, I enjoyed it, but since I travel all over Italy for work, I'm comparing it with my experiences nationwide. The evening menu could be improved and a midweek evening menu could be created with reasonable prices. Overall, however, it's more than adequate.
Paid 30 euros for a plate of ravioli, three very thin and stale slices of roast beef, and five pieces of potato. I forgot to mention a bottle of water. Overall, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was rustic. I wouldn't recommend it.

I stopped for a lunch break (since I was in the area for work). Unfortunately, the food wasn't the best: the pasta was sticky and soaked in oil; the main course was truly inedible: the steak was rubbery, and the side dish was overcooked and watered down. Even the bread in the basket was rock hard, impossible to eat (it's fine to fill the baskets with leftover bread from other tables, but at least make sure the bread is edible). It's a shame because the location and parking are very convenient, and it's on a busy road.
Saturday 1:30 pm outside: trattoria fixed price menu. Inside: à la carte menu. Normal food, not exciting. Vitello tonnato, passable 11 euros, 3 slices with a spoonful of sauce on a pizza-style plate. Ravioli with butter and sage 11 euros, discount quality... there are better. Cover charge 2 euros. Bread in the bin recycled from other tables. Service could be improved. Water from the vending machine, sparkling or still, 2 euros per liter without a label in a reused glass bottle without the slightest respect for the rules. I won't be going back, you decide whether to go. Total 30 euros, not much, not too much.
For what I paid I ate very badly and I'll explain ravioli alla bolognese €11 2mm grilled steak €13 tap water so without a certification it is origin therefore without a brand €2 cover charge €3 I would have it come from Salerno to go down towards Sicily with what I paid You come out of the restaurant with a full belly satisfied with having eaten fish for €27 PS I advise you to go straight and not exit at the Ceva motorway junction If you don't want to feel robbed
Terrible experience, terrible food, poor service. The three mushroom courses were made with mixed mushrooms, not porcini like I do, not all of them watery, unimaginable. Cod on ice cream with a little tomato thrown on top, and if you're lucky, you eat it like that. Magically, it stayed on the plate. Never again will you go to a place like this, how can you advertise it?
My pizza was nice. The lady who served us was lovely. My husbands pasta was undercooked, when cut in half it was uncooked in the centre and inedible. We told the staff. A lady arrived and argued that my husband didn't understand that it was al dente. No apologies, no concerns. He knows what al dente is, this was undercooked. She offered to rectify this and took his plate back to the kitchen. When we heard a microwave ping I laughingly said "your pasta is ready!". Then his plate was returned straight away, exactly the same but hotter. The pieces he had cut in half remained undercooked on the plate. They were still inedible. If this is the kind of dining experience you want then this is the place to come.
They served me pasta (sea food ) the pasta was uncooked, when I mentioned this a woman came out from the kitchen, and was very defensive, she told me it was al dente! I think it had been shown hot water then served. It was uncooked. They were very large pasta shells. Even I know you should not use large pasta shells in a sea food pasta. It can easily go wrong. Anyway the point is they cant cook pasta. It would be so much better if she had been nicer, I wasn't complaining, i just mentioned that it was not edible. So she took the plate into the kitchen and put in in the microwave! I will not go there again. expensive, and not nice. Very often restaurants are very busy so they get complacent about the food they serve and then attitude they take with customers. Then they wonder why trade is falling off. This place just lost 7 customers.
