Well I was told that Palumbos was the best pizza in Naples, but I guess they changed their name. Was definitely NOT disappointed in Nunzio's. One of the top slices I've had in Naples. $7 for 2 slices and a soda very good deal. Slices are big sauce is very tasty and they use GOOD cheese, not the imitation stuff I find around town. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. Very friendly staff and very clean environment as well.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not much of a pizza guy. I hadn't eaten pizza for a little over 2 years cause I genuinely got bored of it.. But this was different. This wasn't just food, it was art. Service is great, the guy who took my order was patient and understanding. Delivery itself was pretty quick. And when i opened the box I saw heaven in the shape of a circle. Before I knew it, I had devoured the 16 inch thin crust cheese pizza in a little over 2 minutes. Never have I felt such intense emotions while eating food. Basically what I'm saying is, it was good and I would definitely order from them again.
The Gradma’s pie is a beautiful creation of super high quality ingredients coming together to form a deliciously simple pizza. The mozzarella is made in house, not because it has to be but because these people have passion and it tastes like it. Fresh basil and a special garlic sauce give an extra smile with each bite. The crust is a thicker style yet retains a light airy quality to it while delivering a crispy snap with every bite.
Omgeez OMGEEZ O M G E E Z!!!! So my hubby and I found this place by chance today. He saw another establishment which IMO was wretched(kitchen bowl), and I saw pizzeria and so while my hubby was ordering his food from the other place, I sauntered on down here! I was immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who explained to me that this was under new ownership(it was news to me as I never heard of previous place) I think it was called Palumbos or malumbos??? Anyhoo I looked over menu and while doing this I saw the Chef (James) aka owner making a chicken parm sandwich and it looked so yummy and I dontbeven eat chicken parm sammys so this speaks volumes!!!! So I decided to order a Philly cheesesteak sub and as I'm doing this my hubby comes in and he also is very impressed anyhoo so we get to talking oh i sit and eat my food which was phenomenal and I will get to this in a moment. James the new owner comes over and talks to us and asks how is it...and I say oh my goodness this is the best I've had since I've been here. Well guess what?!?! The bread he ships in from Brooklyn and I need to explain something here to anyone who has lived or been to NY NJ or CT you CANNOT get bread like they have ANYWHERE in the rest of America you just can't(they say it's because of the water)!! Point is the bread/Italian bread omgeez is like wow so anyhoo James for his sammys has it shipped or flown in. His pizza dough is also proofed and made amazingly he explained it and unfortunately I forgot how he explained it. Listen his dad and his son was there 3 generations and you can tell James is a workhorse and operates w/a spirit of excellence! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU EAT HERE. Reeve is an amazing server very friendly and just an all around good guy!!
Nathan, our server was A+. Attentive& informative. Constantly checked on our needs. Made sure the heat lamp was perfect Highly recommend this restaurant& NAtHAN!!!
I’m from NY so I know a thing or two about good pizza and Italian food… Nunzio’s is BEYOND delicious and the staff is just lovely! Always our first stop when we visit Naples!
Phenomenal!! Found this place while on vacation from Wisconsin. Had a party of 6 and all 6 of us agreed that this was the best Alfredo any of us had ever had. Pizza was fantastic. Pepperoni roll-ups were amazing. All homemade, made from scratch, food. Cannot stress enough how good this food was. Owners and employees were also very friendly. What a fantastic, family owned and operated, restaurant. We will be back prior to heading home.
First time there tonight and most certainly not my last. What a delightful experience. The service was A+ by Nathan. What a joy of a human being. Genuinely interested in our well being and good experience. If management is reading this-he’s a keeper! Made my night! Brought plenty of good food home with me. Very happy! ❤️
Let's be honest... I initially came into so my daughter could use the restroom. But, since I don't believe in using a businesses facilities without giving them business, I ordered their " Two Slices & Drink" for $10. I'm so happy to write how pleasantly surprised I was when I took my first bite. This pizza was great! The crust is nice and thin with an amazing tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Sadly, I don't live in Naples but I'm sure to stop by the next time I'm in the area. You should too!
Excellent food!! A little pricey, especially at dinner time. It seems like overtime the prices have gone up. Little hard to afford these days. Wish we could go more often.
If you haven’t had good pizza in a while come here. Pizza is delicious. Best I ever had!
My husband and I recently traveled to Naples, Florida, to meet with my beautiful family! We met at Nunzio's Taste of Italy 🇮🇹 restaurant. Wow, everything was so nice! The Margherita pizza was delicious, my hubby's calzone was amazing!!! Nathan our server was excellent, kind and very caring! He was very attentive to our dining needs! We definitely will be back! Was a very nice experience too!!!
Great Atmosphere, and great service!!!! Food was absolutely delicious too!! will definitely be coming back!!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful!
This is the best pizza I’ve had in America. The last time I tried something like this was in Italy, in the city of Rimini. This is real, delicious Italian pizza. Wow! I’m amazed by this place. I highly recommend it to everyone.”
Great experience and food! We had the Grandma pizza and calamari and both were amazing! We’ll definitely be return customers.
I’m a pizza snob. Formerly from NJ. Best thin crust pizza and Sicilian pies I’ve eaten in Florida last 27 years. James is a genius with food. The two sisters are hilarious and welcoming. Go!!! You will not be disappointed. The meatballs, pasta and baked proteins are awesome.
Pizza, garlic, knots and salad were delicious and just how we wanted it, it was decorated for Christmas and looked absolutely beautiful. It was clean immaculate. Will definitely be back.
One word, Outstanding! Tried for the first time and took a chance and this pizza shop and they did not disappoint. Authentic Italian and absolutely wonderful!
Our favorite pizza place in Naples! Great food and friendly staff! Would love to see them open a place closer to us in North East Naples!
Authentic Italian Pizza! Superb service. My favorite Spinach Artichoke with Grilled Chicken. My favorite go to Pizza.
We had an amazing meal at Nunzio’s Pizza in Naples! The pizza was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the zeppole and desserts were absolutely delicious. Big shoutout to Javi, who gave top-notch, friendly service and made us feel right at home. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to—and highly recommend to anyone visiting!
Nathan has been my Waiter a couple of times. He’s so enthusiastic, great energy’s, and really makes you feel welcome. The food is awesome and portions are huge. Enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Highly recommend
This place is fabulous. We had the veal Parmesan sub and buffalo chicken pinwheels. Prices were reasonable. Flavor was wonderful. Our server was super friendly. They also have a catering menu.
Yummy pizza and garlic knots. I like the sauce and the crust. Our server, Nathan was great. He kept our drinks full, boxes up our left overs for us, he even noticed it was about to rain and brought us in from outside. He said our little pup was well behaved and would be okay to come in. I recommend checking out this place. They have pinwheels that look really good as well in different flavors. They had a beer cooler if you like beer with your pizza. They also have a counter display with all kinds of desserts.
If you want real Italian food, look no further. Best Italian restaurant I've had so far. I had the chicken picatta w/ gnocchi & my partner had chicken alla vodka with gnocchi. Great flavor even the baked ziti is fantastic. Bon appetit
Great pizza! Great all around, waiter was great guy! Definitely visit
Nunzio’s Taste of Italy is a wonderful new addition to the Naples restaurant community - especially for those who miss some of the standard fare up north. The pizza here checks off a lot of boxes for NY style enthusiasts - both the regular and Sicilian pies, with the Margherita being a real standout. The bread is shipped in from Brooklyn & the garlic knots are a must try. What really stands out is the family feel & freshness of ingredients - much of which is made in-house. I'll be back. Update: After returning several times, it is good to see this place getting the business it deserves - and even with the extra traffic, the service remains excellent. This is a great family-run restaurant that cares about its customers and the quality of their product. The food is excellent - be sure to try the knots! An interesting thing to note that a lot of NY style pizza places don't always get right is the Margherita pie. The Margherita pizza is really worth trying here - the sauce they use is different and so is the cheese placement, topped with fresh basil. The quality of everything here remains awesome!
The moment I walked in and spotted Italy's national crest, those four stars gleaming like they owned the damn place, and the beautiful game on the TV, I knew we were in the right pizzeria. The Margherita and Supreme pizzas were so dope, they had me questioning why I ever settled for anything less. 🔥
My husband said it was the best pizza he ever had and I have to agree with him. Crust was delicious, meat was flavorful. Lasagna not so much, it didn't look like in other pictures I've seen with reviews, it came out cold and didn't have melted cheese on it as I expected. My husband still enjoyed it. Ceasar salad and tiramisu were both delish! OK on canole. It would be nice to have a couple cocktails on the menu, maybe a simple martini would do. Other than that, small selection of beer and wine. I tried Riesling and it was great. My husband said he'd drive 2 hours just to have their pizza again.
What a great dinner tonight! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and the food was so delicious and everything was so fresh. Nathan our server even told a few dad jokes. Dinner and entertainment is hard to find these days.
Palumbo's has to be one of the best places to get a slice in Naples. Whether you get a specialty pizza or just plain cheese, you won't be disappointed. I usually pop in for the lunch special every now and then, which includes two slices and a drink for $6.25 and it's pretty filling. When I come here I usually order take out, but the inside dining here is also nice and tends to be busy. Definitely a great local place to check out when your in the mood for some classic pizza. The Garlic Knots are great too.

The lunch special included 2 slices and a drink. But I was up for 1 slice and fries and a drink. Just over $14 for all three. The pizza was great. Crispy crust. Just enough pepperoni, not greasy. The fries were abundant and crispy hot. Too many for 1 person. Could have fed 3 or 4 people. All in all a great lunch for someone on the run. I will be back again.
My friend suggested we stop at this pizzeria since she used to come here and we were already in the plaza. I’m so glad we did! We ordered a large veggie pizza and oh my God… it was incredible. Succulent, flavorful, and deliciooooouuusssss! Every bite was perfect, the crust, the toppings, everything. I can’t stop thinking about it and I already want to go back. The only downside? It’s a bit far. We definitely need a location in Lehigh and Fort Myers. Highly recommend! 🍕✨
Our family goes to Nunzio about once a month and it never disappoints! Everything we’ve tried—from the pizza to the entrées and sandwiches—has been delicious, and the portions are huge. As a family of four, we usually order one pizza and one entrée and still have leftovers (except the pizza because our kids devour it!). Nathan is usually our server and is phenomenal—so kind and attentive. The owners are wonderful and give back to a local elementary school, which makes supporting this restaurant even more special. Highly recommend!
Small is size, huge in that home cooked, northern style cooking. Been all over Naples and this place is great. Sorry, forgot take pics. Tue Chicken Parm pinwheels were yummy! Chicken piccata great serving size! 🐓🍕🍷

We came here to see what replaced the old pizza place here and we enjoyed our dinner! The layout is the same as the last place and all the decorations are cute. The food was mostly good, we got the garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli as appetizers and they were all delicious! The pizza was really good too, we got the Grandma and it was great, the Philly cheesesteak was also delicious as well. The only real problem was that the sauce didn’t really stick to the pasta but otherwise it was great. The staff is very friendly and the experience was worthwhile, we definitely recommend that you give Nunzio’s a try!

The pizza is for sure AMAZING, and I would rate it 5 stars on its own. The service was also super good! So why only 3 stars? The tiramisu. I bought tiramisu to bring home, and boy oh boy was it terrible. I mean, really poorly done. 3/4 of the whole thing was taken up by 3 layers of lady fingers which were all barely dipped in espresso, and certainly not soaked like they are supposed to be - meaning they barely tasted like anything. On top of that, the cream (that was barely present) had absolutely ZERO flavor... Not vanilla, not marscapone, not even sweet. I basically disected the tiramisu to taste the cream alone, and it was like creamy water. This whole thing was so weird and flavorless, and for $10 per serving, it should at least taste like tiramisu.

I wanted to love the pizza but just didn’t . Heard great things but it was just not for me .I found the crust to have weird texture and the sauce to be super salty. I also ordered a gluten free to see how that did at that and I couldn’t even swallow my bite . Everyone has their idea of “the best pizza but” this didn’t cut it for me. I was told it is just like pizza from NY but it wasn’t even remotely close . Will not be back. I have had my idea of “best pizza” at other places . To each his own :)

How could I eat this?!? I ordered through a food delivery App, what I received late and cold was a pizza box with a calzone. Unfortunately the box wasn't sealed, or taped in anyway that wouldn't allow the random food delivery driver to tamper with my meal. And the pizza box wasn't even placed into a plastic or paper bag that could have been made tamper proof with staples. This restaurant has a lot of faith with my health when handing off something that I was supposed to eat with a delivery driver who is a complete stranger to the restaurant and to me. If it was the restaurants actual delivery driver that would be different, but that wasn't the case. On top of that it arrived very late and also cold, not even room temperature. Maybe the dine in experience is much better, but avoid this restaurant if ordering with a food delivery App. I wasted over an hour of my time waiting for food that I couldn't trust to eat.
