OG classic italian restaurant, everything was SO GOOD and so cheap as well. It's a must if you are in Milan and want to get away from the touristy area. This is the perfect place to have good italian pasta - Lucio is also super sweet and the vibes are super chill. I had the gorgonzola pasta, some breads and cheese, and the cannoli. Everything was amazing.

I ate lunch at Lucio's for five days with my colleagues, and every time we felt right at home. Lucio, the 71-year-old owner, welcomed us with a smile and extraordinary kindness. The dishes are generous and delicious; the Sardinian gnocchi with sausage, eggplant, and breadcrumbs are a must. We spent only 7 euros for a first course and water, with complimentary bread with cheese, ham, and spicy ricotta. It's also perfect for an aperitivo: spritz and snacks are just 4 euros. Plus, the book-inspired decor makes the atmosphere unique. Lucio is a true treasure, and we've grown fond of him. Definitely worth a try!

Lucio is a long-standing Milanese institution; humble and kind people aren't around anymore. For just a few euros, you can enjoy a welcome aperitif consisting of slices of bread with two sauces, followed by a first course, second course, and a side dish, water, and coffee, all prepared as if by a Sicilian grandmother.

Wonderful cakes and coffee, amazing atmosphere and the owner is very sweet and nice to everybody. I can’t speak Italian and we didn’t have problems with communicating. I was in Milan for 4 days and I was coming here everyday for breakfast. If you’re near, you should definitely visit this place.

So far I visited Lucio only during lunch break. In a nutshell it is a very genuine place where you can mostly have homemade basic Sicilian dishes. Going in details, this is a super peculiar bar where everything will makes you feeling to be going back in time ... the place it's literally full of books, furnitures are from the 80/90, the owner (Lucio) is a Sicilian gentleman, he is super gentle and does everything, from serving coffe and drinks at the bar to cook food during lunch. This is not the place for Micheline guide experts, it's more a little gem where you can totally take a break from the rest of the city, and just enjoy your time. It definitely worths a visit.
