The best pasta I had in Italy this holiday! Really great tasty sauce with squid ink pasta and mussels! My husband had gnocchi and swordfish steak and he also enjoyed his dish enormously! Great luck to find this restaurant! Very happy we looked through this alleyway 😊

Excellent experience! My wife and I came here for lunch today. Our pasta dishes are very tasty and one of the best dishes we have had in this entire 20-day trip. The service is also very satisfactory!

Arguably one of the best meals we had in Italy. The squid ink tagliolini with blue crab, mussels marinara and pesto pasta were out of this world! Very reasonable prices for the exceptional quality. Not to mention, the service was wonderful. Overall, we had such a great meal and highly recommend that you should drop by if you’re in Portovenere!

The seafood pesto spaghetti was phenomenal! After 3 weeks in Italy, we concluded that this was best pasta we ever had. Mussels were incredible and the fried seafood mix was delicious as well. The meal was reasonably priced and servings were huge. Staff were nice and welcoming. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Portovenere!

In the middle of a tiny old town alley we found this little treasure chest of a small seafood restaurant. The service was so overwhelmingly friendly and ever smiling we all left with a crush. We have been traveling through Rome and Florence for the past week only to find that the best place is in Portovenere! I had the blue crab, black squid dish and I can’t express how delicious it was! The rest of the family felt the same way about their meals. In particular, my oldest said that hers would be her last supper if she were on death row. That is some extremely high praise! Beyond the food being amazing, the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. At the end of our meal, two of them, we’re sitting down to have dinner that they prepared themselves. That looked amazing! They were so kind, fun and helpful, especially to those of us that did not speak Italian well. We have another six days here and we will definitely be going back! The only problem is, how can I try everything in this short amount of time?

Lovely food. Great service. Not on the water but a much more relaxed little place with a nice feel and good special. For two you can share a special and add a starter and it’s enough.

Good fish restaurant. Tasty food for average price. The only issues were with service, as it was only two waiters, the service was a bit slow. Another issue is that place is small, but they have put tables very close, so that door to the toilet can hit your chair and you will see and feel everything there.

Porto 82 is a solid lunch spot in Porto Venere — comfy indoor seating if you want a break from the sun, or outdoor tables right on the main walkway so you can people-watch. The menu leans hard into fresh seafood and pastas, and honestly everything looked good, but the gnocchi with scampi was the standout for me: pillowy, rich, and way better than i imagined it’d be. The pesto trofie pasta was eh. We also had the mixed seafood frutti di mar (calamari, prawns, anchovies), which was not what I expected. It was a bowl of seafood and I’m used to it in pasta. The swordfish was a little dry and could use some sauce. If you’re indecisive, the €23 two-course deal is easy. Full bar, chill vibe, and a genuinely nice waitress made the whole meal better.

Bad experience, don't recommend eating here!! We dont normally ever write bad reviews as we both work in the restaurant industry and know mistakes can happen but.. We ordered a tomato seafood pasta that was so salty that we couldn't eat it. It was burning my partners throat and chest. And we love salt but this was truly inedible. They remade it but it was just as salty. They then checked the sauce and admitted that it was way too salty and apologised. She offered to make us something else but at this point we were in a rush and put off by the experience. When we got the bill she had taken only 10% off the inedible meal, and refused to comp it fully or offer a fair discount. When we objected she threatened to check cameras and call her boss about it because she said we ate half of it so should pay! So shocked at the lack of professionalism. It is clearly a place that survives on tourists who are not repeat customers!!
