We are incredibly happy to have spent New Years Eve at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo! When we first inquired about making a reservation, the staff promptly got their manager Enea. He was very friendly, honest, professional, and really made us feel like this was the best choice for us. He gave us his card and said to take our time to decide. He also gave us the menu to look over, and was very clear on what to expect. He explained that they're going to seat everyone comfortably so that everyone has a view of the city, and that this was going to be a cozy experience. If you want to sit and have a nice conversation, or mix and mingle with others, or dance that night, it really would be up to us and our comfort level. When we did email the next morning he replied immediately and everything was set up easily and conveniently. Enea really gave us a good impression and that he could be trusted, and really is why we ended up saying yes to booking with him. Then the evening not only met, but exceeded our expectations! The food and wine were delicious. I mean, look at the photos! The staff were extremely happy and pleasant. They were working but it felt like they were treating us like family the entire night. At one point I went to dance and my husband was recording it, and our server offered to take the phone so that he could dance with me and she could get a video for us. Like family would. The music was fun and appropriate. The musicians knew how to play music suitable for dinner, and then make it more like a party just in time for midnight. We met the head chef and his beautiful family, and they really added to the whole experience of perfect Italian hospitality! And then when it was midnight, we all went outside to look at the whole city light up in fireworks. I've never experienced something like that before, where you're surrounded but so many fireworks. Because we were at the highest point in the city, and because the restaurant had their own private patio, we felt we had space to really enjoy and admire how beautiful Florence is. Thank you Enea and the entire staff for an unforgettable night! If we are in Florence again we promise to visit. Grazie mille!

We stopped at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo in the evening for a light snack while enjoying the sunset, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Located on Piazzale Michelangelo, the restaurant is impossible to miss and offers one of the best views of Florence. We ordered a Margherita pizza and tiramisu, both simple, hearty and reasonably priced considering the location. But the real draw of this place is its setting. Sitting there with a glass of wine while admiring the panoramic view of Florence at sunset is a wonderful experience. It's the perfect place for a casual meal, a drink or a relaxing break while enjoying the city's iconic views.

This place is fantastic. We had great food with excellent service and beautiful views overlooking the city of Firenze. To the manager/owner - we sat at table 25 on 28/09/25 with a reservation for 6 at 6:30pm. Our server was excellent and is a fine example of outstanding service and took excellent care of us. He should be recognized and commended for his hard work and dedication to taking care of customers.

This restaurant has a bar in the back of the terace, where you can also sit down, if you just want to enjoy a good drink. The best Aperol spritz I had in Florence! For 7€, which is also a great price in the city for a cocktail, it was a big portion and the tastiest. The two bartender ladies were also very nice.

I think that this is the most underrated restaurant in Florence. The food, the smiling waiters, the view, the fresh air is just mesmerizing. Too bad whenever i come its half empty because the people stay next to the duomo in the center. STRONGLY ADVISE (recommend the Loggia burger)

La Loggia is the single best experience I have had. The view is absolutely beautiful, right off the Piazzale Michelangelo. Service is top notch, attention to detail like I’ve never seen before. The food was fresh, flavorful, perfect portions, simply one of the best dining experiences i’ve had. I will leave it with this….. I will forever be recommending this establishment to all of my loved ones as a once in a lifetime experience.

La Loggia not only had the most amazing views but the food was INCREDIBLE. To start I had the cheese tasting board and my favourite cheese was the Gorgonzola, they also had the most delicious honey to accompany all the cheeses. My friend had the Zuchinni Flan (which was more of a soufflé in my opinion) and it was so soft and full of flavour whilst drowning in a delicious cheese sauce. My other friend had the Beef Tartare which again was just insane 😍 The portions were such a good size for starters as well we really weren’t ready for the mains. For mains we had: 🧀 Cacio è Pepe - Cheese and Truffle pasta which was lovely. The truffle wasn’t overpowering at all and the cheese sauce balanced perfectly. 🐄 My partner went for the Beef meatballs and Pasta and said that the meatballs were really delicious but unfortunately the sauce was just very bland in comparison. It was still nice but he was expecting a little more flavour in the sauce. 🦞 My one friend had pomodoro spaghetti with half lobster. I have never tried lobster before but I am so glad I tried this, the taste was amazing. The meat was so tender and just 😍😍 For desserts my friends and boyfriend went for a classic Tiramisu. Which was so creamy and not overpowering with the liqueur like most tiramisus can be. I went for a Chocolate Caprese Cake for my dessert which I was a little underwhelming. It was almost like eating a cereal/protein bar if I’m totally honest. The chocolate sauce on top was nice though! Would highly recommend La Loggia if you are visiting Florence but best to book in advance!

Great experience with my friends and I. We stopped there for lunch after the hop on/off tour let us off across the street from the restaurant. Lunch was reasonable and very tasty. Red wine was delicious and I even grabbed a yummy cappuccino before leaving. The restaurant was not crowded when we came and overall great experience!

In una freddissima serata di questo mese di gennaio siamo salite a vedere la panoramica di Firenze guardando dal piazzale. Abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo ristorante. Siamo stati molto contente dalla scelta. Ci hanno sistemato in la parte esterna e coperta dal ristorante, dove potevamo godere la vista notturna del piazzale. Il cinghiale al salmì era delizioso e l’attenzione del personale molto cordiale. Posso solo immaginare questo posto che durante le belle giornate invita a sostare nei tavolini esterni guardando il bellissimo panorama. Sarebbe da ritornare in altra stagione.

Ci siamo accomodati con il timore che fosse un ristorante "turistico" vista anche la bellissima terrazza panoramica. Il nostro timore era infondato perché alla fine sia il servizio che il cibo risultava molto curato e raffinato. Ottima esperienza tanto da ritornarci la sera seguente. Prezzi medio alti ma assolutamente giusti visto il contesto e la qualità del tutto.

I piatti costano tanto, però è giustificato dalla vista che si ha su Firenze. Un club Sandwich fatto da 2 triangolini costa 16€, decisamente troppo. Però le patate erano molto buone! Focaccia con prosciutto e mozzarella 10€ Caffè 3 o 4€ non ricordo.

Locale situato appena sopra piazzale Michelangelo.. Offre una buona vista su Firenze se ceni, se fai aperitivo sei all'interno e perdi il panorama su Firenze. Cocktail base 12€ minimo.. niente di eccezionale

This is simply a brilliant idea. We decided to cool down and get cocktails at the bar, and they showed us the machine. You choose what you want, pay, and wait for your cocktails. It’s simple, convenient, no need to talk to anyone, and the menu is available in many languages. A truly excellent solution.

Group of 5 women, walked the long way round from gardin Bardini along the ridge to the Michalangelo terrace. The view was worth the long walk and the terrace bar was beautiful and drinks were very well needed. We had mixtures of beers ,wine and coffee. Some Frittes too! However the toilet was pretty horrendous, that was not ok being a nice up market venue! Otherwise would have been 5 stars

Beautiful view of the city and sunset! The restaurant has a nice outdoor space and the service is quick, friendly There are few good vegetarian options - the food is as expected in a touristy area but overall good vibes and experience! The dessert looked a better it tasted (not bad, just usual)

Il locale si situa forse nel miglior posto di Firenze, davanti a Piazzale Michelangelo. Luogo bellissimo ma è l’unico elemento che trascina il locale. Il servizio molto approssimativo e molto da pub (considerando i prezzi che propongono), la materia prima abbastanza mediocre (siamo nel capoluogo toscano!) anche se cucinata bene. Si aggiunge il vino (un Syrah da 20€) fatto pagare 60€ con l’etichetta tutta sciupata. Mi dispiace, grande potenzialità sprecata.

Purtroppo delusa, ero già stata tanto tempo fa all’interno e la gestione del servizio mi era sembrata ottima! Purtroppo però all’aperto devo dire che di bello c’è soltanto la vista del piazzale, musica dal vivo troppo alta, ma gentilmente ci hanno spostato il tavolo improvvisando uno, il cibo poteva essere assolutamente molto meglio salvo il mio polpo però era top!! Mi è sembrato di essere più ad un pub aperitivo anzi che a una cena in ristorante, ci hanno tolto velocemente il secondo piatto senza chiedere e ancora non avevamo finito di mangiare ed è stato scomodo. qualità prezzo incoerente, riscatto però che se tornerò in futuro sarà d’inverno e non weekend; ci hanno fatto uno sconto e tolto dal conto il piatto che purtroppo non ho potuto finire di mangiare, ma sono grata all’intento di risolvere offrendo limoncello e lo sconto.

Posizione straordinaria💚 - una vista di Firenze in tutto il suo splendore. Ed è per questo che anche i prezzi qui sono sorprendenti. Il ristorante è un po' vecchio con un servizio sgradevole. Quando ho chiesto come trovare un bagno, la cameriera mi ha suggerito di andare a quello pubblico in piazza. La vergogna vale per gli ospiti che pagano 5 euro solo per una tazza di caffè

The view and the ambiance are really nice! The food is nothing special; there are countless places that are cheaper and have much tastier food. Now, the service left a lot to be desired. We sat down and waited for about 10 or 15 minutes before someone came to serve us, and the restaurant wasn't even a little crowded. And we were only attended to after we called someone over. We felt like the service was somewhat indifferent. It's a shame. They could improve this.

Good service, not great food. The main courses were below average. Wine, cocktails and deserts were quite decent. The view is great! The prices are higher than the quality they offer. The atmosphere was quite pleasant though and we had a good time.

2 adulti e 4 bambini 2 primi+3 secondi 1 insalata 2 milkshake acqua €191 Servizio: hanno sbagliato primo ma niente scuse ne scontistica (cacio e pepe-invece di ragù -sembrava pepe e cacio- poveri kids), agnello buono, insalata triste Olio ed aceto di qualità bassa… Ma vogliamo parlare del posto: un gran gazebo cheap senza eleganza e rispetto x quel bellissimo posto (che era una volta), frigo e mobile piatti in bella vista … mi sembrava di essere alla casa del popolo (ci vado anch’io lì nessun problema, ma se scelgo di andare a mangiare al piazzale mi aspetto un minimo di eleganza…) Poltrone front bar vecchi sporchi malandati, personale poco sorridente e disattento. Una volta era un bel gran posto, ora ha perso tutto il suo charm. Chi ci va non ci torna secondo me Peccato

Ci ero già stata 3 volte negli ultimi 3 anni. La prima e la seconda tutto top. La seconda il servizio cominciava a scricchiolare. Ci sono stata sabato.. Un incubo. Sono arrivata e non c’era la mia prenotazione. Camerieri impreparati e rozzi. Se andavo alla casa del Popolo il servizio era più accurato . Facce scocciate, di sufficienza. Il mio compagno ordina un primo e il cervo. Io un filetto. Portano il primo e il mio filetto. Vengono a sparecchiare e ci portano i menu dei dolci e ci tolgono, pane olio e tutto. Facciamo presente che lui aspetta il secondo. Risposta: allora se intanto vuole scegliere lei il dolce. Io: Anche no. Arriva il secondo che non è Cervo. Glielo facciamo presente e cadono dalle nuvole. Parlottano tra loro, ci tolgono il piatto. Aspettiamo più di 20 min . Arriva il Cervo che è stracotto.. E’ un ambiente di lusso e si fanno pagare la vista e la posizione. Il servizio deve essere commisurato. Sembravano tanti pensionati a fare volontariato e ragazzi extracomunitari presi dalla strada tanto per fare numero. Senza parlare delle divise. Pantaloni neri e maglia a mezze maniche nera di cotone grossolano e molti indossavano 4 taglie in più. Veramente imbarazzante. Finiamo la cena con una porzione di gelato e due caffè. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere ll’acqua 2 volte . E non c’era gente… Il mio filetto buono con patate e il suo primo accettabile. Totale 135 € Non ci tornerò mai più. Giusto che campino sui turisti di passaggio. Io scrivo di me ma ho assistito a scene agli altri tavoli anche peggiori. Sbaglio di piatti, vino che arriva anche se richiesto alla fine della cena, e gente che si è alzata ed è andata via. Ambiente di lusso che si fa pagare il lusso gestito da gente raccattata. Non fa per me. Se voglio una bettola non speso quella cifra e magari mangio anche meglio

Tre giorni fa siamo venuti in tre con un cane piccolo molto educato. (Due di noi erano fiorentini) per prender un aperitivo. Già per sederci e per venire a prender gli ordini le cameriere (4 su 5) erano scortesi e scocciate. Quando abbiamo ordinato dei drink e chiesto una ciotola per il cane con un pochino d’acqua mi è stato risposto alla prima che non avevano ciotole, la seconda volta che la stava usando qualcun altro, e la terza quando gli chiesi se per favore potessero darmi qualsiasi ciotola, anche una coppetta di gelato piccola per potergli dare dell’acqua mi hanno risposto: “Ma noi le paghiamo”. Come se il nostro aperitivo fosse gratis. Peccato, con una cornice così, potevamo consigliarlo a tutti i nostri amici. Viaggio il mondo da dieci anni, e mai, mai, ho assistito un servizio così maleducato e non essendoci assolutamente sentiti a nostro agio, pagammo e uscimmo. Chiaramente mai più. Peccato dato che tutti noi abitiamo a Poggio Reale. Davvero voto 0.

We originally planned to come here for the sunset and enjoy a somewhat romantic dinner, but what we experienced was very underwhelming food and a disappointing atmosphere. First, there was no guidance at the counter, so we had to walk inside to find the staff and confirm our reservation. Our table was not in an open-air space but instead separated from the view by a plastic covering, which really took away from the ambiance. On top of that, there was live singing, but unfortunately it felt more like karaoke practice than a performance, the sound quality of the background music was very poor, which made the whole setting awkward. We honestly felt sorry for the singer. As for the food, we ordered pâté, two pasta dishes, and a sea bass. Everything was mediocre at best, with the pâté especially disappointing. Overall, we would not recommend this place for couples looking for a romantic evening.

I'm from the United States. I was almost going to give this restaurant 5 stars, but this restaurant has one critical issue. Located at a very good scenic point, food was good, wine collection was good as well, but one of the staffs was not friendly at all, rather very rude.
