The food was amazingly good. Service was great. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.
Oh what a great crafting time my group had on Saturday. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Not to mention plenty of space to make our themed “Lovely and Beautiful and Valentine’s Day cards.” All the crafters enjoyed it so much (food and cards) they asked me to plan another event there! Thanks so much! Nana’s Ink
We sometimes forget Roma's because it's something we drive past very often. We went last night and ordered the House Special which is chicken Parmigiano, lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. It comes with a salad, which was nice and fresh, and a large roll. It was too much for me, mostly because I saw the dessert menu & I needed some NY style cheesecake. Everything was very nicely prepared & presented. Our server was very pleasant & she had a fun sense of humor (extra points for that!). The other diners were also really enjoying their dinners & the music & general atmosphere was just really nice. We will definitely return. No pictures, because I always forget until halfway eaten.
Try Romas for dinner. We were driving thru Lancaster and it didn’t disappoint. We tried the shrimp Alfredo. It was very tasty. We also tried the pizza, meat lovers. It was also very good. It all came out hot and fresh. Our server was a young lady who was very friendly. She treated us nice. There were other people dinning so we had to wait a little bit. We didn’t mind waiting because she was friendly and kept talking to us. She did really good. We enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread. Nice touch and nice size.
Walked in and got greeted instantly, staff looked very attentive to everyone. Ordered the shrimp Alfredo and will say it is hands down very delicious, it includes 2 pieces of bread that was very good. I also got a strawberry cheesecake and it tasted very fresh. Only got to go but place definitely looks very clean. Don't get discouraged because it is a small local business. It is very worth trying.
This is a Place that everyone in or outside and or Visiting LANCASTER TEXAS needs to stop by and Eat n more as I've observed and utilized myself frequently!!! We teach CHESS here to children every Monday 6-8pm and the Owner helps out a great deal proving that he really Cares about his Customers and Community as a whole therefore I Love ROMA'S ITALIAN LANCASTER RESTAURANT. I also Plan to invite the Mayor of Lancaster to this place and to our Youth Chess Club. Inviting him for added Encouragement for the youthful to soar to higher heights as this place is here to nourish us all in different ways!!!😀, Per Diallo Dotson, Sr. of TERRI FOUNDATION ENTERTAINMENT~ YouthFoundation Breaking Barriers Paving Paths Out of Poverty!!!
Went here based on the reviews and we are glad we did. Had garlic olive oil dipping sauce. Asked for the garlic to be roasted (extra dollar) asked for balsamic vinegar. (another extra dollar) Bread was good. Side salad house dressing good. Sunrise Chicken Shrimp dish was excellent. Outstanding and would recommend. Funny restroom sign saying please do not flush all these things ending with hopes and dreams. Touche!
We try to eat here every Thursday evening so we can encounter Vanessa our server. She is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make meal a pleasurable experience. Every dish is made to order and baked fresh before arriving at table. My favorite dish is the Chicken and Shrimp Sunrise.
I had a great experience at Roma’s Italian! The food was delicious, and they offer a nice selection of lunch specials, which is perfect for a midday treat. I ordered the chicken farfalle, and it was flavorful and satisfying. The bread rolls were warm and tasty—definitely a highlight. I also enjoyed the house dressing on the salad, which had a unique and memorable flavor. Unfortunately, I didn’t have room to try their pizza, but I saw a few being served and they looked absolutely mouthwatering. I’ll definitely be back to try one next time! Update: We ordered the thicker pizza for delivery today! It was good as I’m a crust person. 🤭
This is by far the best Italian food that I have ever had! The chicken marsala was awesome and delicious. My girlfriend is VERY picky and had the grilled salmon and loved it. She normally doesn't finish a meal, but she ate all if it! The owner is very friendly and the service was excellent! We plan on going back very soon.
It was my first time here. My fiance is from Lancaster, and he swears by this place, so we went on our way back to Houston. The bread they give you before your food was good and hot. I got the Stromboli and OMG it was delicious!! The pizzas are huge!! I will definitely try this place again!
I ordered the cheese sticks appetizer and a XL pepperoni and Xtra cheese pizza. The food was great. However, the decor and service was subpar at best. The booth i was in had a tear in the seat with duct tape as a repair and it stuck to my clothes. The place looks a bit run down. No money invested in its upkeep. The server did good at start but failed to keep my drink full and I had to go find her for napkins. I think if they fix the service and invested in the decor, it would be a excellent Italian restaurant.
The chicken milano pasta was delicious. However the dishes differed in appearance despite being the same order. The rolls were nothing special and a tad overcooked and lacked flavor. The salad was ok. I'm a salad person and it's hard to mess that up. The calamari was pretty good. I like a bit more crust and cooked a tad longer. The tea was watered down. If I only orders pasta it would have been a 5. I ordered take out a few days later and tried the chicken Albanese. It was really good. The bread was the same. A tiny salad to go. Not a bad restaurant just make certain to temper your expectations. Follow up: I appreciate management taking time to seek feedback. Although I was pleased to know your restaurant takes presenting clean vegetables for the salad, the lettuce was overly wet. I use a spinner to remove excess water for my own salads at home. Also croutons, cracked pepper, olives, or banana peppers would take the salad up a notch. I'm not recommending adding all but any one or two would be a game changer.
Inside looks better than the outside. Casual dining in no hurry. Waitress was cool but again no real hurry. My empty cup laster 4 table visits and a request to the support staff that never came back. There are bunch specials and a work crowd. Bruechetta is different. Normally made with mozzarella and basil. This one is with capers without the cheese. Still good. Served with hot marinara. A nice menu mix. BYOB at a fee. It was $5 for wine. I think it's per person drinking or not. Check on that, and $1 for each beer. Bread was good bread but needs sauce. The flavor was flat. Recomened the lasagna. It looked just like the manicotti but it was bigger. The pizzas are good and can be ordered up to 18". There are 2 pizza 2 topping specials and some individual options on the menu. Outdoor seating avaliable.
We ate dinner here and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Unfortunately the main course did not taste very good, but on the bright side the rolls were excellent. The atmosphere was not very interesting.
I ordered from here through doordash and was a bit disappointed by it. I came in to pick it up, and it was fairly empty, but I assume it was maybe due to being a weekday after lunch hour. The staff was friendly and offered their restaurant card for phone orders and online menu. I ordered the fried calamari appetizer with garlic parmesan dip and the stuffed shell casserole with Alfredo sauce instead of the red sauce it comes in. I thought I surely couldn't have gone wrong as I love fried seafood and anything in Alfredo sauce. Starting with the calamari, it wasn't the worst, but I can only assume it's frozen as it was very chewy and the breading had barely any flavor/seasoning. I do think the dip was like a dressing as it was very concentrated in acidity. The shells looked promising, but once I got into it, the stuffing in the shells was very much on the salty side. I think it would be good to see on the menu what type of cheese is being used to stuff pastas and what not, as that was missing. I am definitely thinking this place will be getting another chance from me as I've been intrigued by their pizzas so I will be back.
We used to buy pizza there every Thursday and Friday. Not anymore. I don't know what kind of cheese they are using for the pizza but it's downright terrible. It's like chewing rubber. Not good quality. We will be taking our business elsewhere. And we will be telling people about it. Please change your cheese to a better quality so we can come back
Sent my daughter to pick up a Philly Cheese steak. It was horrible and Roma should be a shamed sending this out. No meat, no cheese and dry as powder. Just wasted $13.99....Happy Birthday to me.
